Let me explain, the first time I went I had the same lady as I had last night. I will never come back. I made appointments for 3 people at 5… had random walk ins come after us, get started and then we weren’t taken til 5:30, then it took the lady who did mine (seat 8) forever to do my nails. And there wasn’t anything wrong with them. 6 out of my 10 fingers were bleeding. And she couldn’t do a simple polka dot. Then charged me $100… when the other adult that went with me had designs and her nails done in almost an hour less time was charged $90, when all I had done was a color and a full and mine was $100? I don’t think I’d ever recommend this place to a single, desperate person.

The pedicure was amazing! My tech was so gentle and good to me. He was a perfectionist, really. When he did my hands, he was very helpful in color choice and asked me exactly what I was looking for in length and style. I love this place and will go back soon! Thank you!!

Definitely not worth the $60 I paid. Ive had them for an hour and already want these bubbled uneven monstrosities off. The first picture is what I asked for, just picked a different color. The others are obviously said monstrosities. Dont waste your time and money, cause they leave clients, including me, just sitting there alone for 10+ minutes with half done nails and her not remembering which nails she already worked on when she finally came back.

My tech is truly an expert. Her conversations are engaging and she is funny. She clearly loves what she does. I couldnt imagine ever going anywhere else. Thank you!!

I’m new to Maine, from Boston Massachusetts:) I’ve been searching for a new Nail Technician!! I found Ho today at CD Nails!! He was very friendly & SUPER good at what he does! My nails were in BAD shape and he brought them back to life. He took his time & put work into my hands and feet .. I’m so happy to have found CD Nails and especially Ho (hope I’m spelling it correct)

I went there today and the lady that did my nails was not good at all.I have glue all over my nails she cut my finger with the nail file.The owner was amazing she felt so bad and finished my nails within 5-10 minutes she was amazing.3-4 hours in there just doing my nails is uncalled far.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. They did an amazing job with my manicure and pedicure. Im definitely coming back.

This was my first time having a pedicure and I was a little apprehensive about it. But Tony was the one that did mine and he made me feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment he started. Tony kept asking me throughout my pedicure if everything was alright which made me even more comfortable I certainly will be going back again asking for Tony. I tried various salons but none were up to par with my previous nail salon... until I found this place. My nails are always clean with the perfect shape and thickness, and she takes care to ensure that my nails remain healthy.

I have been going here regularly for manicures, pedicures. They did a great job with my nails. The ladies were very friendly. Im glad beacuse I found this gem!

I went in looking for a manicure and my toenail color changed. It cost me $100 because they said $85 but after what I’m about to explain… I didn’t bother and just gave them the full $100. When I said I was paying with a debit card they instructed me to use that ATM machine. So I did but what business like that doesn’t have a debit card machine.I don’t remember it being like that. I haven’t been there in a while. I was kind of disappointed when I left and next time I’m going to end up doing a little bit of research and finding another place probably because that was not a very pleasurable experience given the surprise in the cost. I feel like that’s what you would’ve paid if you were at a really fancy spa. Either way, all of the reviews that have low grades, take em seriously.

My manicurist did my nails and she was so good! I had really short nails and she pulled off a beautiful multicolored gel manicure regardless. Also very reasonable pricing.

Honest Review-I strictly go for pedicures every 4 weeks. My regular nail salon happened to be closed on the day I was due for my monthly service. I made an appointment at C&D instead. Upon arrival I selected the most expensive pedicure they had to offer($70). I also upgraded to gel polish. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the service. My pedicure lasted a total of 40 minutes and did not include a massage. My well maintained feet were not exfoliated or lotioned well. The highlight of the service was the polish job. The shape of the nails were well done and polish looked okay.I highly recommend Serenity Nail Lounge near Peppers Landing in Brunswick. This is where I routinely go. They are clean professional and provide EXCEPTIONAL services. For $80 at Serenity my legs and feet are well exfoliated, massaged, and lotioned. I receive at least 10-15 minute massage ended with gel polish and a Paraffin treatment. My pedicures normally last an hour and a half.I will never stray from my normal salon again. When in need I will push out my pedicure one more week to ensure a great service. I would NEVER ever recommend C&D Nail Salon in Augusta Maine.

They observed the COVID protocols and gave my friend and me beautiful toes. The technicians were skilled and kind. Worth it. We will be back.

NEVER bring your small child here to have their nails done!! I brought my daughter (3) for the first time to get them done and the lady was way too rough with her and never once spoke to her except to yell at her for getting water on the floor. Horrible experience!0

I used to bite nails a lot and she took such good care of my nails that I have been able to pull off such amazing designs by her. My techs the queen of minimalistic, cute, elegant, and classy designs.

NEVER GOING BACK HERE AGAIN! The lady that did my nails was incredibly rude and slapped my hands multiple times. I got a French manicure done and there were multiple smudges on my nails when she was done. She put about 8 layers of nail polish on. My nails are completely ruined now after some of the polish started chipping off. My nails are so thin. I highly recommend going somewhere else. It’s not worth the money whatsoever.

Loved the pedicure! The massage chairs are fantastic, the staff was very friendly and nice and my nails look great! Was able to be seen on time for our appointment and they are following safety practices. Loved the color choices and I will definitely be back!

Ive been here a few times for pedicures and have been happy with them, so I decided to get a full set of acrylic nails. The nails looked very nice, and I went back the other day for a fill. While the guy was grinding the acrylic with the Dremel tool, it started burning so I flinched and said THATS HOT. He paid no attention, and kept grabbing my hand roughly telling me he had to do it and to stop moving my hand. The whole rest of the time, he was pretty rough with my hands, pulling on my fingers and twisting them. The fill looks ok, but I will not be returning due to his careless attitude.

I got a manicure and. The price is fantastic and the services are excellent. Every employee that Ive come in contact with has been really sweet and friendly. Happy to return again and again!

The woman who worked on my nails was kind and not rough on my nails. I got a standard manicure and its already lasted for almost 2 weeks (which is unheard of for just regular nail polish!).

I have been coming here for several years. I will continue to return. The cleanliness and safety practices are top notch. My pedi is always the same price that is posted. I receive excellent service no matter which tech I receive. I do not request any particular tech. The value is comparable to salons in the area. If you call ahead, they will hold a spot for you. I rarely wait. If I do not call ahead, well that is on me and I will not complain of a wait.

Theyre incredibly clean, talented, and thoughtful in how they keep their venue and conduct their services. Ill be using them. Thank you all for your impeccable work :)

Went in on a Monday and the older women were extremely rude, the quality of my manicure was subpar at best, and the equipment they were using was not clean. Will not be returning.

First time was great but the second time was terrible. The nail tech he tried to argue with me about the dip and it was the second worst dip I received. I won’t be back because of his rudeness.

The sign says 40 dollars for a full set, I got plain basic nails and as she was finishing another lady walked around and said it would be 70 dollars. I was shocked, my anxiety wouldn’t let me speak up. I wish it was something that was told before she started. I even asked and she said 40. I think they raised the price because of the pandemic....

So I usually do my own nails, along with anyone else who wants them done. But this place was awesome! Clean, nice people, really good with all my questions about every step they took lol. Poor woman, but she was awesome! Worth the trip for the personnel but the nails are amazing too!!!

This place is so expensive and not accurate to what they offer. I went in for a fill and it cost $50. They did such a horrible job I have to go somewhere else to get them fixed and with the correct design wich only involved a magnet.... Will NEVER return!!!

I got a full set of acrylics here and a pedicure on the same day. the acrylics went great but when doing my pedicure the guy ripped off one of my nails, said nothing about it, and put a tiny bit of paint on it (that came off later that day) trying to cover it up. No apology, and charged me full price, and after he noticed he took the nail off, he continued to put stuff over it.

Got a full set of almond tip acrylics. First of all it cost me $65 which is CRAZY! I had to wait for 20 minutes even though I booked the appointment ahead of time. No cuticle care, no hand massage, no hygiene either. Never had me or her wash her hands or use sanitizer until she was done with my nails. When i put my nails under the lamp they started BURNING!!!! like really really bad! Thats a really bad sign guys, theyre either using chemicals they shouldnt or just dont know what theyre doing. My nails havent lifted at all and its been over a month.... honestly i think they put glue or something weird under the acrylic because she applied it twice and my nails were wet with it when she put the acrylic on. Also acrylic was way too wet when applied. Do not go to this salon.

I went in today on my birthday to get stiletto nails fairly long I showed a pic of what I want I ended up w pointy almond shape with massive imperfections and there’s a gouge in my thumb nail. Going back to complain will do nothing but having paid $85 for a full set of regular acrylic pissing me off that they aren’t at least decent she didn’t even bother to wipe the polish off my hand.

I love this place, Ive gone here for 3 years. No, they dont have a fat chic charge, I pay the same as my skinny friends. Micheal is my favorite tech. He gives me the pampering that I need in my busy life. Hes not happy till Im happy. My nails always come out better than I had hoped. There are plenty of places I have left unhappy from, this is not one of them.

Im going to make a long story short and when you go into this establishment, make sure you make it VERY clear what kind of manicure you want! If you go sit down and dont understand what your person is saying you WILL end up paying more than you asked for! What should have been charged was $45 and I got charged $58! WONT GO BACK THERE AGAIN!

Will not be going back. I went for tips and I’ve never been more disappointed in my nails. They’re not straight, huge bubbles, very thick, and the girl that did it was very unprofessional. She talked on the phone for 20 minutes about her personal medical appointments, and I was very uncomfortable.

Doesnt deserve one star. My nails are all messed up. Crooked, not evenly painted. No foot massage, no hand soak no hand massage. Put cuticle remover AFTER shr painted my nails. This is the lady that yells at people if they confront her work.

Definitely the best nail salon in Augusta! I got there for my appointment, and somebody was immediately ready for me. The employee seemed nice, although didn’t talk much. A supervisor came and checked on us a few times during my appointment, just to see how my nails were doing I guess. The appointment was super short, only around 35 minutes for an ombré full set. I love how my nails turned out! The process was rough during the filing, he cut the sides of my fingers on almost every finger, and the cuts are still open wounds, but in the end it was worth it! He focused a lot on sanding and cleaning up the nails so they’re smooth and they look great!

Rude does not describe the service I received. Lady doing my pedicure was one of the rudest people I have ever meet. Will not be back because of poor service.

Horrible! Worst dipped manicure Ive ever gotten. The guy did a bad job and used the wrong corresponding products. The dipped is peeling off like gel polish after 2 days. Waste of money. Do not go here.

Horrible experience. Went in for a pedicure and the attendant managed to spray water on me and left me soaking wet from the waist down. Then owner told me it was nothing and didn’t apologize. This is what the car seat looked like after I drove home.

Get price before they do work. They overcharge and give different prices. The work is good and if you dont like the color or if you dislike something they fix it.

Clean and they dont rush

I was very disappointed and will never return. For one it cost me $90 for my 10 year old daughter and I to get a pedicure. They showed us where the polish was which come to find out after the fact was all the gel polish which was more expensive. They never showed us that there was regular polish that was less expensive. My daughter got a basic pedicure and I got the next one up. After the woman placed the hot towels on my legs she disappeared for at least 10 minutes, by the time she came back the towels were freezing cold on my legs and the stones that were supposed to be hot that she massaged my legs with were also cold. I feel like it was a total RIP off and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Got a gel mani + pedi. My toes came out great, nails, absolutely horrible. Had to ask them to just take the polish off and to top it off didn’t even get a refund.

Went for a pedicure - no cleaning around my nails, trimming my cuticles or anything. From the time she started until she thought I was ready for polish took 5 minutes, and that was for the $47 green tea pedicure. I asked specifically for her to work on my cuticles, and she spent another minute picking at them. I gave her $20 and left without polish.

I thought it was great. I took my sister there I got acrylics and she just got a manicure. Hers came out great and so did mine. The guy that I had was very nice I have no complaints. Would and definitely will go again.

Got a lovely mani pedi from Michael. I have been to CD Nails a few times and I would recommend asking for Michael. He is fast but pays attention to detail! They are likely to up-sell you on services and rush you on decisions but the quality (usually) stands up. No comment on cleanliness - I try not to think about it in any nail salon!

I have been going here for quite some time.It has always been a pleasurable experience.I have Kathy do my nailsShe knows exactly how i want them shaped as well as the length i like and i have ALWAYS been happy with the finished look.I am greeted with smiles upon entering and always thanked at departure.For all of you complaining, i would recommend sticking g with the same technician , get to know each other and buiod that rapor.I am 100% happy

Went in for a fill at 6:40 pm and says they are open until 8pm and the lady was very rude and said we are closed now mind you the door are unlocked and people ( workers) are there well guess they lost my business!

I’m giving this service barely a two. I walked in needing a dip removal. The lady who “waited” on me talked so loudly in another language the whole time and stuffed my hands in the acetone solution....Soaking in the acetone for about 7 minutes while my nail tech talked loudly at the front of the salon... another (very nice) lady asked what I was having done. My fingers were throbbing and thankfully she had enough good conscious to notice. She treated me kindly and did a great job after being left to soak in acetone hell.... I will never go back here.

My nails are crooked and I paid 65 dollars! terrible service, not to mention they are rough with your nails! The gentleman that I had slapped my hand multiple times, was rude and never spoke. I asked for shorter nails and the man said “I got, I got” and never made them shorter. Not to mention I had to wait 45 minutes to an hour. They helped other customers before me when I was waiting the longest. Don’t bother spending your money here... go to Walmart they’d do a better job..

Went in today for gel polish. The owner did my nails. I am not sure if her products were bad or her lights but I had to keep my hands in there longer than I ever have before. The polish is lumpy, thicker where it pooled up. Then the gloss wasnt applied all over the nail, so half the polish looks matte. Should have read the reviews first. Oh and used dirty water in the bowl to soak my nails.

Went in for a fill after 10 days because I was going away and wanted them freshly done. No breaks, nothing fancy, just a simple fill which the price board for gel nails says $20 up. I always shape oval but my nails were already oval. Charged $35. When I asked why he said because he shaped them oval. I dont mind paying for something when the price is clear. Saying to shape my nails oval when they were already oval was weak at best. Be careful when you go here. Ask for price in advance and ask what you get for that price. You should not have to pay for any upcharges that were not explained to you in advance.

I had, had no problems until this last visit. They ruined my nails, the polish pas NOT what I asked for and when I went in to get fixed they were very rude about it. I had chemo and my nails are fragile, so to speak, and the lady still did what I asked her Not to do. Wont go back for awhile or until they get people who will listen to the costumers.-Paula

I was very unimpressed with this place! I will not be going back. The first time I went there I wasnt crazy about the lady I had. My nails were crooked and the shellac chipped within the first few days. Their prices are cheap so od thought Id give it a second try well My second attempt there wasnt great either!!! I wanted the gel powder dip. The manager lady is very rude and pushes you to pick colors and get moving. Well I waited over 20 minutes for them to start my nails and remove the polish from before, I ended up doing it myself cause i was left there for over 20 minutes sitting with my hands in nail polish remover! The gentleman that worked on me had no clue what he was doing with the gel powder, even told the lady and she still made him do it. He kept messing up, putting it on, taking it off. I was so fed up by the time I left. I just wanted to get done and out of there. He was going to charge me less and apologized but the manager is rude and made me still pay the 40. I told her i was not happy, that he was unaware of what he was doing. I dont think it was his fault, it was hers! She should of done it or had someone with more knowledge do my nails. My polish is already peeling. The guy wasnt doing it the right way and Ive had it done before at another salon. This manager women is super rude and does not know how to run a business! I will not be back there! I would of have put a zero but then I couldnt write a review!

I went here about a week ago while I waiting for my sons hockey game to start for shellac. I already have 4 nails that have chipped and it looks awful. On top of that it was not the design I asked for it right color. I picked a gray- gold swirled patten - my nails are a maroon color. When she started I shared that it didn’t look like the right color but she insisted it was. I then thought that maybe the color would change under the UV light. It didn’t. I regularly get shellac which lasts three weeks on average. If I lived closer I’d go back in to complain but I’m over an hour away. Very disappointed and won’t be going back.

This place looks and feels very clean, which is absolutely crucial. They shaped my almond shape nails PERFECTLY. Absolutely love my nails! I will definitely return there and my friends will too.

Pretty bad experience. The person that did my nails filed them so hard I was in pain. I asked for a full set at first and said it would be $40.... so then got gel manicure said it would be $25. Got basically my nails filed and nail polish put on my nails.... no drill or really any shaping. And it came out looking like I could’ve done it myself. She was nice but I think rushed it.

My mom, sister and I got shellac manicures the other night. My moms were the only ones to turn out well. She had the young lady. But all three of us noticed how dirty the work stations were, none of the tools were clean and the heat lamps burned the back of our hands.The appointment really went down hill when the middle aged lady (maybe the owner?) got angry when I asked her to remove the polish from my cuticles. She literally chastised me in front of the whole salon for having too short of nails as if that was what caused her to paint my cuticles. She was going back and forth between me and another customer and she was LOUDLY complaining about me to the other customer. Did I mention that I had an appointment for that time but the other customer was a walk in?Anyway, its fine if you dont mind soaking your fingers in acetone that has been sitting here for who knows how long, resting your hands in other peoples nail and acrylic dust, or being embarrassed just for simply asking for her to clean up along the edges a little.Worst nail salon I have EVER been to. Dirty, rude, and my nails look like garbage.

So happy I found this place! They welcomed me very warmly. I asked for short nails and my manicurist did exactly. Clean space. Reasonable prices! In summary, I highly recommend this salon.
