They might be good on other services but simply changing the battery on an iPhone took over an hour and was over 3 times more expensive than where I had it done before. I moved so I couldn’t go back. Anyway I had a screen protector on my phone when I took it and when I got it back I didn’t. There are two chips in the bottom of my glass now. They didn’t even tell me about my screen protector. I called about it because I knew it was missing because I had a hairline crack in it. I asked about it and was told that most of the time they get destroyed when you change the battery and it’s not something they carry to replace it. It would have been nice to know before hand.

Capitol Computers is the best! They are the only ones in the area that are recommended by Apple unless you go to Portland. They are also very professional, good priced, and know what they are doing. They are so good that they even offer training for people to learn how to service computers. I wouldnt trust people working on my Apple everywhere, but I definitely feel safe letting any of my devices being serviced by Capitol Computers.

Our law firm wanted to know if our network was secure. Jason and Amy from the Unlimited Rockland branch conducted a security audit. We had vulnerabilities we didnt even realize existed. Jason helped us identify and fix the problems, and now I rest easier knowing our client and business information is more secure. Thanks Unlimited Technologies, I highly recommend their internet security services for any business with computers or smart devices, network access, employees and sensitive information.

This place tried to way overcharged me. Tried to tell me that it was going to take an hour for something that only took 15 minutes. My best advice, steer clear!

Short story: DON’T GO HERE. I should have just gone to the Apple Store in the Maine mall. I ended up there anyway and they were great. For the full story read on.I took my Mac Book pro here for diagnostic and hopefully repair. My keyboard and track pad had stopped working. The machine itself would work with either blue tooth or USB mouse/keyboards attached, but I wanted to see the cost of repairing the laptop keyboard/track pad. First off, it took them 3 days to give me a diagnostic and estimate. I had to call myself to find the status. They told me it was the top case and it would cost $380. I decided this would be worth it to me and agreed to proceed. They called 2 days later and said it wasn’t the top case after all it was the logic board and that would cost a bit more $440. All the people I spoke with at this company were not good with people. They weren’t friendly, or good at explaining what they there were doing. It was almost like they explained too much technical and not enough of what a client needed to know. The repair tech on the phone went on and on about parts and technical terms etc.. I don’t repair computers. I had to repeatedly ask: How much will this cost and when can you get it done? He told me 1-2 more days and I decided for $60 more I’d move forward with the repair. I get a call. Now it’s both the case and the logic board need to be replaced and the repair would be over $800.00. They have had my computer a week at this point. I said no to this repair, as I may as well buy a new laptop at that point. They said I would need to pay a 20% restock fee. I said I didn’t feel I should have to pay a restock fee when they couldn’t properly estimate or diagnose my problem. I never would have agreed to an $800 plus repair. I would pay their $75 dollar diagnostic fee. I asked them to put my laptop back together and return it as I gave it to them. When I went to pick it up, there was no conversation, no apology or explanation, nothing. I barely got eye contact. I tested that my machine was working. Everything seemed in order. When I went to use it the next day (with Bluetooth keyboard/mouse) the battery ran out. When I plugged the charger in, it wouldn’t register the charger. I couldn’t charge the laptop. I took my Mac book to the Apple Store in the Maine Mall. They diagnosed it free of charge!!! This is what they found. There is a simple plug in cable in the case that enables the charger to work. This cable was disconnected. They plugged it back in and it worked fine, and they didn’t even charge me. So Unlimited Technology formerly Capitol Computers either directly sabotaged my laptop so it would appear to be in working order at their office but break later; or they are simply incompetent. Either way this is completely unacceptable service. The Apple Store diagnosed the keyboard issue free of charge. I can’t remember exactly the full diagnosis, but they said it would be a little over $500 to repair. I decided to just use it with Bluetooth accessories until I upgrade. I should have just gone to Apple, as I have always had the great customer service at the Maine Mall store. I was simply hoping to save some time as Unlimited Technology formerly Capitol Computers was closer to me and I try to support small business. It was really disappointing how awful the experience was.

Honorable service! I called to see if they had any 3.5 Hard Drives the first person I spoke to didnt even know what I was talking about and took down my name and number to have someone call me back. 10 mins later a lady called me back that was a manager asking you called... what do you want? (Could not make that up) I said I was looking for a Hard Drive to go in a NAS box preferably 1tb and she asked me a few more questions just to tell me she had what I needed in stock but could not sell them to me because she dose not have a retail shop anymore. I never give bad reviews but all I can say is WOW... extremely rude and disrespectful. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
