Jason a the Augusta, Maine, Best Buy location helped me today with setting up some equipment. Jason was very patient, very willing to make sure everything was okay before I left the store and that I fully understood what I needed to do when I got home. Excellent experience. I appreciate an like that kind of customer support. Thank you, Jason.

They shouldnt even get 1 star. It took a while to answer the phone. Then they put me on hold after I told him I needed the Geek Squad . Then somebody else picked up the phone I told him the same thing Im waiting for the Geek Squad to pick up. He said they would be right with me . Nobody ever answered after 25 minutes. Twice that happened the same day. And again when I tried a few days. Must not need the business I guess.

UNLESS its and iPhone or a phone sold by them they will not work on it. Better off finding somewhere that doesnt have stipulations to do their job

Went in to schedule a battery change for my Samsung phone.I tell them it was a Samsung Galaxy S9. Great they said. I get my appointment scheduled and all is well.Now its the day of my appointment and when I arrive to it, suddenly they dont do services on Samsung devices! Why did they not tell me this prior to me scheduling an appointment, especially when I told them my phones model.Person I was speaking to couldnt give a care in a world that they inconvenienced me and wasted time out of my day when I could be somewhere else getting my device fixed. Definitely am not coming back.

They gave us a bogus delivery date which we had to reschedule. Then went they went to deliver they said They need more people to get it done, but would give squeeze us in the next possible date. We were supposed to get that date within 48 hours and nothing. Called 4 times and the only person that was remotely helpful was Heather. But the field people did not even call, respond or anything. 8 days passed with no response or even signs of life. They REALLY deserve 0 stars, because we did not recieve anything at all and they treated us like we did not need the washer dryer we ordered. Never dealing with best buy or geek squad again.

I was quoted $200, from dell, for a factory reset on a laptop I was left by my deceased grandmother. I called geek squad and he was quick and efficient in telling me the steps to doing a factory reset without a password, I appreciate all your help.

I would like to describe my time with Geek Squad during the call today. I have had issues with my computer over the past few weeks, getting worse over time. Its an HP windows 8.1 laptop and the issue is the 8.1 on it. Windows 8 was working fine, but 8.1 made some of my applications unable to work correctly. I called Geek Squad because my computer is still under warranty and it should be fixable because its going to reach the point where I cannot use it effectively. I was expecting them to try and not want to fix it, and I got exactly what I expected. They told me that the warranty only covers physical damage on the computer, and does not count towards any crap that happens from a windows update, which I find complete crap. If I downloaded a virus that broke it, thats one thing, but this is meant to make my computer BETTER and it didnt. Thanks to this whole mess, I have to now go and spend $160 to just revert it back and thats it. At this point, I might as well smash it so that they DO have to fix it, but I wont because thats just being a rude person towards the companies. I just thought that because its actually making it so I cant play games like say, League of Legends, Diablo III, Maplestory, Mabinogi, Hearthstone, etc, without crashing my computer now, theyd think it was broken. But I guess thats a computer working as intended.
