Excellent customer service, great communication and fast follow-up.Marisa explained everything thoroughly, the process was easy, and the auto-withdrawl payment option is very convenient. They also sell packing supplies, storage unit insurance, and locks on site.The facility is well maintained, secured, has camera surveillance and best of all - the awesome on-site manager Marisa! She was the ray of sunshine in my otherwise stressful day of moving.

The service was quick and efficient. Marisa was a pleasure to deal with. Not too busy and inside office is neat and tidy.

Got behind due to losing a card and waiting for the bank to mail me a new one, today I went at 2:30 to try to pay the bill, doors are locked and appears nobody inside, I checked the website says their open until 6? I called again it said they were open but nobody answered, I have cash and just want to pay my bill up so I can move out...

Just opened up a new storage. Very simple and easy process. Tina helped me with all my paperwork on move in date. She was very kind and friendly. Very helpful.Location is great! Gate times are great!Only thing I found odd was that John showed me a storage a few days before. Then once I got there I was given a different storage. It was the same size. It was just odd.

John (the site manager) was very professional and helpful. Clean units, easy access, and secure. Price is competitive.

Initial pricing was extremely misleading. Online quote was $68. It ended up being $85. I went for the first time to drop things off, scheduling time away from work, and they had put a lock on my unit without ever communicating to me that that was being done. Couldnt access unit for two hours. If I had known what the experience was going to be like, I definitely would have gone somewhere else.

Hmmmm...so it started off all good with usual attempted up-sells and what-not. Storage unit clean & good and no other significant issues until they raised our rent $30/month which to me, is significant especially since we had only been renting for 4 months and especially since on the website and during our initial rental it was never stated that this would be the case. The most frustrating part is that we have a large unit to store our furniture while our home is being built which wont be completed until next spring = were stuck and basically they could do whatever they wanted with rent unless we hired movers to re-locate all of our furniture. It just seems as though the rent should be locked in AT LEAST for 6 months if not 1 year. No return calls or e-mails after I contacted them.

Sean was a great help. I reserved a unit online and he called within minutes of the reservation. Once I got to the store I was unloading my van after 15 minutes. Highly recommend the Auburn Hills store on Lapeer rd.

Addendum to previous review: so I should note that after the last review I was contacted by a representative who apologized and changed our monthly payment back to what it was. The only reason they still earned only 4 stars is because they tried to get away with something that I believe is entrapment & unethical practice... especially since other reviews state the same has happened to them.If after one year (when we move our things out) no one posts that it has happened since and/or the company makes an apology for trying to run us over the coals, I will then change it to 5 stars for doing the right thing for everyone... not just those squeaky wheels.

I had a great experience with finding a storage unit at Public Storage. Betty was able to show me the unit I reserved online, which didnt quite work out as I planned, and then was able to promptly suggest a more suitable unit that was available. She was polite, professional and very helpful. I also dealt with Scott when I purchased a couple sofa covers. He was especially helpful when I forgot to bring the covers with me by allowing me to quickly purchase new ones and even return the old ones. I would definitely recommend Public Storage to anyone looking for safe and secure place with great customer service!

I rented a storage unit at this location from Oct 08 until Dec 13. Overall it was a good experience. The location was always clean and the staff was always friendly and helpful. They worked with me during the rough times, so that I was never in trouble with payments. That being said, the expense of this place is fairly high, but you do get what you pay for. If I were to live in the AH/LO area again and needed a storage unit, I would come back here.

My experience seems to be pretty standard. The staff is very helpful and able to make the changes that needed to be made to my account. The property itself was well kept, and easily accessible. I recommend using this location for sure.

I looked at a small unit to use while I did some work in the area. The place is nice and seemed very secure. The rates were a little high but it didnt scare me. The guy working was very good, pleasant and informative. If I end up needing a unit I will probably go back.

John has been very helpful every time I come in.

I only gave it a four because corporate determines pricing and that is out of the hands of the location. It is clean and well maintained and secure. In winter the blacktop is kept plowed and I never had any problem accessing my storage unit. The location is easy to get from and although it is a pain during rush hour, I have never really had any problem getting out either.

I have no complaints about the property itself, however, I chose this property because I felt the price was reasonable. In the three years I have used this storage unit my price has raised half as much again as the original price. They have raised it by $5 each year, then $6 this year. That is a HUGE increase considering I had the smallest unit they have. The place is clean, they have carts for your use in the buildings. Lights are movement controlled. Not a bad place, I just think if there are going to be increases that they be reasonable and I also think that I should have a choice if I want insurance on my items and not be forced into it. I have cleaned out my unit as I am not willing to pay such a huge increase. Ive already tolerated too many large increases.

It is the cheapest place in town, but they gouge for the lock and surprise you with it when you go look at the unit. Bring your own lock, and its fine.

Great experience at this public storage. We rented various units here from october 09 tip april 14. The location was always clean and in great shape. John was very helpful with anything we may have needed. Such as the times when we either upgraded or downgraded size of our unit.
