Mike and his team did an amazing job taking out the tile in my kitchen and replacing it with hardwood! They worked quickly, kept me informed the entire time, and completed the job early. They also did a great job matching the existing hardwood in the rest of the house. Would absolutely recommend!

These guys repaired our full hardwood main floor due to a leak/insurance claim 6 or 7 years ago. They were professional, on time, and did amazing work! We recently needed some small repairs under my desk and I did not initially contact them because I incorrectly assumed they would be too expensive...but after talking with several other hardwood floor specialist and not getting a good feeling about the potential outcome of our floor repair, I gave in to the reality that I may have to pay a more to get it done right...so I contacted Michael at Authentic Hardwood and he came over fairly quickly and provided a quote that, surprisingly, was right in line with others; however, it was immediately obvious that these guys know their craft! His team came over and knocked it out right on time and did the same great work as last time. From phone call, to onsite quote, to the floor technicians, to payment, they were all on the same page, impressive, timely, and affordable. There may be other companies like them...but if you dont know them already and want your floors done right the first time just get these guys and be done with it.

We have worked with Authentic Hardwood Flooring on two previous occasions and were very pleased with the results each time. From the moment I found Authentic Hardwood Flooring I was impressed. I found them on a Google search and saw they had a 5 star review. I called and was so impressed to get Michael Keroack, the owner, answering the phone. He spoke to me at length and answered every question I had. He came to the house the next day to measure and provide a quote. Because we are picky and had a lot of questions and some unique transition areas between rooms due to taking a wall down, he returned to our home to speak to us again. He provided excellent solutions to our needs. The crew was to be here for 3 days. Michael said they would arrive at 8:00. The first truck came at 7:45 but remained outside and rang the bell at exactly 8:00. For the next 3 days we had professional, polite, on-time crews. We had daily phone calls from Michael to review the days work and forecast for what would be done the next day. On the final day Michael came in person. We work with MANY vendors and this is the best experience we have had with any vendor, ever!! They were extremely clean and neat and took every precaution to ensure our home was left clean and undamaged. I had 2 small issues with spots I had missed on the last day. They returned immediately and fixed both to perfection. We look forward to recommending them to everyone and also to having them back next year when we change our office to hardwood. They will be the only hardwood flooring company we ever use or recommend.

Do not, and I repeat, do not hire anyone except Mike and his team to do your hardwood installation, etc. I admit I am a perfectionist. I do not tolerate sloppy work by less than competent or knowledgeable business men or women. No issue here. Mike with his 30 years of experience matched my existing hardwood floors perfectly. His team installed my floor to perfection. The price was beyond reasonable!! Many thanks!!!!

I put my wife totally in charge of location a company to completely resurface our hardwood floors that have turned after 20+ years. She was able to get several bids and were so impressed with Michael at Authentic Hardwood floors. Well, the job is complete and we are so impressed with this company and crew. Their attention to details was just over the top. The floors look better that the day we built the house. They came in exactly on budget and within the exact time they said it would take. His staff took so much care in my home and my house was immaculate when they left. Literally I could not find a speck of dust! MIchael and his team are truly passionate about their work and it shows. Michael and his team are some of the best people and highest skilled tradesmen I have ever had do work for me. From beginning to end they were top notch. On the initial walkthrough, Michael found areas that needed repair and was very knowledgeable. His team executed amazing quality work including sanding and refinishing prefinished wood floors. They always kept the work site clean and asked me for clarification on any work where there was more than one option for how to move forward. They were gracious and patient when I changed my mind and needed more stains tested. They truly took pride in their work and wanted it to be perfect...which is asking a lot in a 1950’s home with multiple additions. The entire home now has beautiful wood floors!
