I used HMI about a month ago and it does work for community service hours but I would only suggest you use them if you are in a bind or don’t have any other resources. Kim the representative I spoke with was EXTREMELY rude and condescending in our communications even when she made a mistake. I was credited for my hours to be fair but she needs to learn how to respectfully speak to people. Huffing and puffing, raising your voice, and overall rudeness is uncalled for when respect is given. Working with her was like pulling teeth but overall I got my hours which is the only reason my rating gets any stars at all.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM I COLLECTED $500 IN DONATIONS AND THEY DIDNT EVEN PROVIDE A PROPER LETTER OF COMPLETION FOR COMMUNITY SERVICES!IM NOW LOOKING AT 6 MONTHS OF A JAIL SENTENCE BECAUSE I DONT HAVE ENOUGH TIME NOW TO COMPLETE MY COMMUNITY SERVICEI ALSO WENT DOWN TO THE OFFICE THEY SUPPOSEDLY HAVE AND THEY DONT EVEN HAVE AN OFFICE THEIRITS A SCAM!!!!

Id highly recommend Handmaidens Ministries for completing community service hours, especially if youre short on time.The process was easy to understand. The agent that I spoke with on the phone was very nice and accommodating to my situation. Most importantly, I had no problems having my hours accepted by the court!HMI was very helpful when my probation officer needed to verify my hours. They respond very quickly, are always available, and they made me feel really comfortable during the process.

This place is super shady. You pay money in exchange for volunteer hours. People need to actually volunteer they shouldn’t be able to buy their way out of service.
