Rats everywhere, parking is across the street and most of the time it doesnt work, when it doesnt work your forced to pay $5 for parking thats they dont reimburse, no accountability what so ever. The ac hasnt been working for 2 months and its almost July, the lights cut off if your neighbors are using to much electricity, to get to the dumpster you now have to walk around the building, elevators dont work most of the time. Please save your money. Do not move here

Do not move here! Poor management. Erica is the worse. Rats everywhere outside. Roaches everywhere in the building. No wifi. Hot water never stays on. Elevator is always broken. If you have a maintenance issue wont get fixed. Staff is rude. They only have one maintenance man..you have to park somewhere else if you are a resident yea does that make any since.

Poor management led to an elevator not getting inspected and later malfunctioning causing a teenager to get crushed and losing his life. If the state didnt inspect the elevator then you shut the elevator down until inspection is done.

There are a lot of roaches. The elevator is also ALWAYS broken so if you move here try not to get a suite on the upper floors unless you enjoy walking up 10-12 flights of stairs on a regular basis. They seem to think it’s funny and the only thing they care about is whether or not you smoke in your suite or not.

The staff is so helpful. Anytime I needed something fixed they did it within 24 hours. Its the perfect low maintenance spot for college students because the rent is low and all utilities are included. Its good to only have one bill to pay each month. Ive been here for 2 years and I have enjoyed my experience at 444 Highland.

Dont be fooled by the good reviews of the people that have office space. Those that have to live there are being treated as if living there is a total privilege. If I could give zero stars I definitely would. Nasar Properties are a total joke.

This place is awful. My experience with this poorly managed property was awful. We are business owners. I am so uncomfortable working here. Every time I get off of the elevator to the business offices, I hear loud music and loud talking. Other businesses are located on the same floor and they are far from professional. I remember complaining to management about the bathrooms and it took them almost a year to address the maintenance issues in the common area bathrooms. And good luck talking to anyone in the office. When you call them, they rush you off the phone...thats if you can get anyone to answer. When you email them, they ignore you. When you show up to office, they act as if they are so busy that they cant even speak to you. I hate this place and I am looking for another building downtown for office space.

Convenient area and room setup. Everything is pretty much there for you once you move. Fully furnished and clean setup. Minor issues but for the area and price you can not beat it. Friendly staff and neighbors. I personally haven’t received any problems.

I lived here for 6 weeks while I did a review course. The room is pretty small. The fully furnished statement is hilarious. The furniture is used, cheap, and wobbly. My desk shakes when I write. The study chair isnt good for long study sessions and it looks pretty dirty. The microwave is so pathetic, my food comes out cold after minutes and minutes of heating. The mattress was so cheap, creaky, and worn out that I started getting bad back pain. I actually slept on the ground after that because no one came after repeated complaints. Most people in my class had the same complaint. Also, there is no gym like they advertise and the games and stuff they show you online is dead and collecting dust. The building didnt have heat for a while during the worst of winter. Bring your own portable heater. Luckily I came a few days after they got heat. Now its 80+F outside and the entire building has no AC to save money. So its hot and sweaty in the rooms now. The management guy said they will turn it on in April or so. Lastly, many people have said they dont return your deposits even if your room is nice and cleaned. That about sums this place up. One good thing though. The internet was nice and fast.

Large rooms and a generally clean building. Front desk staff is nice, but often I find I am waiting long periods of time for someone to actually be at the desk. This is annoying when waiting to pick up a package. The kitchens are separate from the rooms and shared. They are good kitchens, but often very dirty. Air-conditioning system is in each room and really great. The area is also very nice, close to the beltline and a lot of local entertainment.

Ground Floor really looks nice. The lady at front desk is very helpful, I think her name is Shika. The builing is righ down the street from all the really nice places on Highland Ave. You cant beat the price. Definitely worth it if you want to live downtown and save some money.

DO NOT RETURN DEPOSITS.I was a student attending a review course. I thought this was an amazing deal considering the review course is located within the same building. Everything was great, Shika the front desk lady was very kind and even upgraded me for no fee at all. Rooms suck, theyre small and just run down. Beds are not comfortable and it is right next to the hospital so youre going to hear the ambulance day and night.WORST PART: There are 2 deposits that you will have to pay upon reservation of the room (1) $200-non refundable and (2) $150 - refundable. It has been MORE THAN THREE MONTHS and I have still not received my deposit back. I have contacted them a million times (literally my call logs will back me up) NO ONE picks up or theyre on break or the person handling the deposits is never there or the best theyve repeated to me is its on its way. They cannot provide any proof of my deposit actually being returned. Anyways, dont stay here.. the headache is NOT worth the price. You can find places CHEAPER and BETTER that honour contracts. This place does not. They WILL NOT RETURN YOUR MONEY. And I have pictures proving that my place was left perfectly clean (I even vacuumed and lysold everything before leaving out of courtesy!)

My son has lived at 444 Highland for less than two months and management has already failed to live up to the promises made when the leasing agent showed us the room. The secured, covered garage parking that we signed for in the lease was not available when my son moved in and paid his rent/parking fee. The leasing agent authorized him to park in front of the building and told him management would be in touch when a space opened in the garage. That individual no longer works there and the new manager had my sons car towed last week. Management has been rude and dismissive when Ive contacted them to try to negotiate even a partial reimbursement for the $160 towing fee. I do not recommend leasing here unless you have very low customer service expectations.

I lived here for 8 weeks from Oct to Dec 2017 while doing a review course. It is a good location if you do not have a car as it is close to CVS, Well Star hospital and some food places. It is reasonably priced but very skimpy on maintenance and cleanliness. They have renovated the rooms on the 7th floor and above but the 5th and 6th floor are incredibly old. I suggest you opt for rooms on 7th floor and above. I lived in a small room on the 6th floor, the furniture was okay but the mattress very old and worn out. Some friends of mine had to get air mattresses because the furniture wasnt sturdy enough. The quality of the furniture varied from room to room. My washroom on the 6th floor was very old. While cleaning, some of the tiles would chip! I did not like the washroom one bit! There is a common kitchen area on every floor which was very poorly maintained. They need a MUCH BETTER cleaning agency and enforce stronger rules for students (I understand that residents can be sloths sometimes). Yes, some floors did have cockroaches, all depended on how clean the kitchen was! They REALLY need to up their cleaning! The vents between rooms are connected, which meant that when my neighbour smoked weed, it was full blown in my apartment! The heating system was so intense that even when I set it to lowest temp, I could not breathe so I left it off and got a portable heater. The building itself is fine, although older with appropriate maintenance it could be much more well kempt. The management is slow it took about 4 months to get my security deposit back and that too with several texts and phone calls. Some friends havent yet gotten it back. The maintenance is a bit slow too, it takes quite a bit probing and reminders to get things fixed. This a good location for students and also provide short term leases, hence why there will be a steady flow and often the building is quite populated BUT it is VERY UNFORTUNATE to see that despite getting the business it is not well taken care of. If they just upped their game a little, the place would have a much better reputation.

Update: Ive left the 444, but Im being sent notices to pay another $670! As well, I still havent received my refundable deposit back.Tarsika was not happy I was here to check-in.Id like to stay from Nov 27 to Dec 24 (28 days), I would like to pay for 4 weeks, but she said theres a prorated amount $89.33 (Nov 27-Nov 30). So I pay for 4 weeks + a prorated amount. I want to pay for 4 weeks, like your website says. Not 4 weeks plus a few days, Im not staying for more than 4 weeks.$200 (non-refundable) + $670 (1 month) = $870 is what I should be paying. She unfortunately was rude, I was hoping for a better experience since my last time. I spoke to some of the workers and asked if they liked working there, it seems the ones I asked, were not exactly happy. It also seems the place looks more rundown and is not being maintained properly, the common areas and kitchens are unsightly.I was also given the wrong mail and door keys, they took my mail keys and havent fixed the broken lock to the mailboxes yet. The security guard has to handle all the mail and put all the USPS mail into the mailboxes. They dont get paid enough for that.A coakroach wandered into my room, under the door.Cases were filed with the BBB and the Georgia Consumer affairs for misleading pricing.

444 Highland was great for the time I stayed here. The management and staff have always been friendly and treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. Whenever I needed assistance resolving unit related issues or needed any questions answered they were reliable and always eager to help. The location of the building is perfect because its right in the heart of Atlanta and easier to get to all the hot spots ! It was literally right down the street from Little Five Points and Ponce with lots of cafes and shopping areas, and like 15 mins from Lennox!. Its also walking distance to GSU!The rooms are decent sizes and come with furnishings so basically all thats left is to do is decorate it enough to accommodate and fit your personality. Thanks for housing me 444!

I lived here for over 8 months, the location is really good, even for people who dont drive. There a 3 different bus lines across the street from the building. The staff is nice and helpful.I think the should improve their maintenance services, I put quite a few requests in and never had a follow up on them. The biggest problem was the bed & matress, sometimes uncomfortable.Overall my experience here was ok, I expected more but what I got wasnt bad at all. It was always news to enjoy the dowtown view at night; probably what Ill miss the most.

Warning to all yall dont do it!! They dont care & all they want is money!! This place sucks!! I wish someone wouldve had a review up mentioning actual things when I was thinking about living here. If youre a student or basically anyone LOOK ELSEWHERE THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE AND THEY DONT CARE!!

I lived in this building for two years. In contrast to some of the recent reviews, I will try to provide some details. Whether or not this location is right for you depends on your preferences. See the below pros and cons.Pros:- rooms come with a bed, table, chair, microwave, small shelves- location is very close to downtown with easy highway access- walking distance to GSU. two marta bus stops right outside- rent includes water, power, internet, heating and cooling- affordable parking passes for deck across the street- small gym and game room. discount membership to hospital gym- CVS across the street for any items you might need- Google fiber installed and to be activated in the coming months- current internet service is relatively fast, especially on hard wire- security and management deal with any issues swiftly- despite other reviews, Ive always found management kind and helpfulCons:- small rooms, some have a shared bath, old building- shared kitchen on each floor, often dirty- shared washers and dryers, $1.25 each, sometimes broken down- many parties held in the downstairs event space, often loud- events require you to use side entrance and not pick up packages- mix of undergrad and med students. some are respectful, others play music and are messy- mail occasionally gets lost but packages always seem to arrive- past issues with bugs/roaches/pests, usually dealt with immediatelyOverall this location can be good if you know what to expect. The rooms are small but if you need housing for several months while studying at the medical center or commuting to GSU then it cant be beat for the rent/distance combination. There can be issues with rude people, pests, and mechanical problems associated with the old building but management has always dealt with these immediately in my experience if you contact them and follow up. The frequent parties in the event space can be annoying but management also has several free events for residents throughout the year with free food and entertainment. Parking is available monthly for a reasonable price, but the lot is across the main road from the building. The marta bus that stops right next to the building goes directly to GSU campus and the east/west and north/south marta rail lines. For safety, dont walk north of the medical center along Boulevard at any time of day. Heading west toward GSU or east toward the belt line are fine.As with any location there are pros and cons to each, use the lists above to get an idea if the location would be a good fit for your needs and preferences.
