The office is new, the staff are pleasant, the procedure was professional. That is where the good portion of my experience ended. Everything else with insurance, billing and follow up was very poor. They refuse to work with your insurance, they did not send the required paperwork when contacting my insurance provider and then attempted to pass the nearly $800 in additional costs onto me. I received three separate bills for three different amounts over several months. Bear in mind I have already paid $1400 at this point, plus an additional $60 bill - with the same insurance I have never had issues with previously.When calling the office, they were nice enough but ultimately totally unwilling to do anything about it. Stating that the claim had been closed and that we would be responsible for the remaining balance.The dental work was great, the billing and back end management is not.Looking at previous (recent) reviews this appears to be a trend. I should have done more research before trusting them with my business or my teeth. Do not expect to pay anywhere close to what you are quoted, expect to pay about double.

The staff at town dentistry is caring, respectful, and professional. Im always seen on time. My teeth have never been healthier.I used to avoid going to the dentist but they make it a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this practice.

The place is nice and the staff are equally nice.More expensive than my normal place in Boston.If they had payment plans that suit my pocket, yes, Ill use them but they dont.Ill revert back to my city but will use them for regular yearly cleaning maybe.Clean place though.

Today, I had a wonderful six month cleaning with Bri, a beautiful spirit who made me feel comfortable and welcomed from beginning to end. She had a warm personality, very kind, and personable. Not like the militant hygienist I’ve experienced in the past at another office. Bri was very thorough and gentle in her cleaning techniques, she even provided dental hygiene education without the flossing guilt trip. My doc was amazing as always, can’t remember her name but she was short and very petite. Everyone thoroughly explained what they were doing and acknowledged any concerns I had. I’m very pleased with my experiences at Town Dentistry. I feel confident that this office will continue to be my family’s home for dental care moving forward.

Update Sept. 2021 5 stars. I switched to this provider and went for a cleaning. This office provides a calm and dare I say enjoyable dental experience. They offer a free personalized dental care package, enforce covid protocols, and have knowledgeable and friendly staff.Nov 2020 - Four stars. The office is clean and efficient with staff that is friendly and professional. Whats even better is that they could get me in right away as a new client when I was afraid I broke a tooth. Plus, the office is conveniently located near Costco and other shopping center favorites.

I love everything about this place! The staff is friendly, and I’ve never had to wait a long time to be seen during my visits, even before Covid. They give a thorough exam, cleaning and explanations of treatment. Also, they are taking Covid precautions, so I felt at ease. Justin cleaned my teeth today and he was great! He was both knowledgeable and friendly.

Town Dentistry is an exceptional practice with some of the most friendly and talented professionals in Atlanta. As someone who never had the opportunity to visit the dentist growing up, I knew I needed a lot of work done. At the time of this review, any concerns I had about the dentist have gone away thanks to the amazing work of Dr. Thompson and her assistant Lizzie. They were both incredibly considerate during my long filling session, and they did everything to ensure I was comfortable.Trust me folks, as someone who has had two root canals and five fillings in less than a year, I know what its like to want the best people handling your dental health. I had a wonderful experience today receiving a filling!! Lizzie and Dr. Thompson were so kind and worked quickly but effectively. They were very sensitive to my comfort, and when I felt the slightest bit of sensitivity, they immediately removed everything from my mouth and added more numbing. Cant recommend enough!

Amazing dentist! Everyone is so kind and the office is so clean. I normally get dental anxiety but this place was great at relieving that. My dental hygienist, Rose, and Dr. Graham were great. The most thorough dental cleaning Ive ever had. Also, they were able to schedule an appointment super quickly for me, that worked perfect with my busy schedule. Highly recommend!

What a relief to go in with a problem that made it difficult to eat and to be told the solution is to gargle warm salty water. I was expecting the worst (I dont have insurance) but after x rays and an exam Dr. Allison Thompson explained to me that it was just an ulcer. Her integrity & professionalism is outstanding, especially given that I will need fillings soon (shown by the x rays) but that is not the source of your pain. I will be recommending her to anyone who mentions the word dentist. Lizzie & Taniya made the experience enjoyable - thanks to the whole team!

Im disappointed in the service I got here. Ive been in Atlanta for 5 years and I felt like it was time to find a dentist that was local and not in Alabama. I was definitely lacking knowledge in dentist lingo and instead of being informed I felt like I was taken advantage of. Over the phone when booking my appointment I was told that my insurance was out of network but it was no problem. For the past 15 years I had been getting my teeth cleaned paying nothing out of pocket so for something as simple as a cleaning I believed it shouldnt be a problem and cheap if not free. The day of the appointment came and I was told that I need more than a normal cleaning because they would have to clean underneath my gums. I was approached with a paper that had $393.60 circled as the portion I would have to pay for the treatment. Apparently those figures were indefinite and they largely misestimated the out pocket portion knowing that my insurance was out of network. I feel like it was done on purpose because if I saw $1,095 (the actual out of pocket portion) on that paper they knew I wouldve declined. There was a lack of integrity because after I signed that paper the person doing the treatment kept apologizing to me over and over again and I was confused as to why. I paid $406.60 that day and Ive been billed for another $702.61 for someone who intended to just get an exam and cleaning. I was charged dental code D4341 ($328) four times, D1999 ($13), D0210 ($166), and D0150 ($142). I felt like the severity of my teeth was over-exaggerated in order to get me to spend more money. I can count on one hand the amount of times my mouth has bled in the past year and I dont suffer from bad breath so I find it hard to believe that I have gum disease. D4341 is a therapeutic treatment and that was represented to me as if it was required to get my teeth fully cleaned that day. After the treatment was over and my whole mouth was numb I was even told my teeth were not in bad shape. After paying over $406.60 before I left, I was told that in order for me to get filling it would be over $700 out of pocket because my insurance only covers normal fillings and they only do some specialty type of fillings. I walked out feeling like I was scammed and no one cared. It seems like they care more about money and less about customer satisfaction. Im never walking into another dentist office again without doing my research because you cant trust to be taken care of.

I had an infected molar that was absolutely KILLING me for two nights and a row and decided I couldnt wait another week for my scheduled appointment at a different dentist. I called Town Dentistry at 8AM and told them I was in pain and that I knew I needed a root canal (I had known this since March due to consultation with my previous dentist). They scheduled me an appointment for literally 30 MINUTES later, and after a few X-rays for confirmation, I was referred to an endodontist for the root canal procedure the same day! The staff was friendly, their office is exceptionally clean, and best of all, they understood how urgent my situation was and did everything they could to make sure I wasnt in unbearable pain. They exceeded every expectation, and I cant recommend them enough.

I really can’t say enough about how kind and friendly and professional this group is! Definitely the first dentist I’ve enjoyed going to!!

Is there such a thing as a Dental Spa? If so, then Ive found it in Town Dentistry Brookhaven. From the moment I walked in I could tell my teeth and I were going to be pampered. Since this was my first visit, I was given a welcome gift of a water bottle and dental hygiene supplies, which is not out of the ordinary, but the gift tag with my name on it was a nice touch. The intake paperwork was not paper, but a tablet for me to sit down with and enter my data. I was given a tour of the office, including a private room where I can meet with a team member to discuss any procedures or costs. When I was in the chair, the first question Vania, my Hygienist, asked me was, What would you say is most important for you when it comes to the dental care we provide you? (or something along those existential lines). Ive never been asked a high gain question as part of my dental cleaning. Wow! Vania was both thorough and gentle. There were also little clues that the office is a good place to work too. The fact that they invested in the tablets for paperwork, saves time for the reception team with data input. Also, I was given a clinical grade mouthwash to start, which helps protect the Hygienists from patient germs. The little touches were not lost on me. Thank you for a great first visit. I would highly recommend Town Dentistry.

I had to get off the treadmill. Switched to them at the beginning of the year. At checkout they told me I needed to schedule to have 4 fillings. No mention off that during the cleaning. Okay, went 41 years without one so I guess its time for 1 (or 4). After those, I had to go back to get adjustments and without success we added a crown to the tab. During the crown, they added a treatment that was not in the quote to the bill. After the crown, they tried to schedule me for pricey mouth guard. I still have minor pain that probably requires the crown to be adjusted further, but I had to bail.

I received HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE OFFICE MANAGER AND FRONT DESK STAFF. The front desk staff lied on me after I told them I was running late for my appointment. She lied and told the staff I said I would be 7 minutes late when I told her I would be 15 minutes late because I was stuck in traffic. Upon receiving a phone call telling me to come in for services despite my tardiness, I refused service upon arrival. The office manager came out and was completely condescending and rude. I had to ask her to please move because she would not stop antagonizing me. The same girl behind the desk that lied on me about my estimated arrival would not acknowledge me when I spoke to her, only the other coworkers. They sent me copies of my dental records and told me to go elsewhere which is really sad because the dentists at this location are nice and Ive been coming here over the course of three years and had just been in weeks prior to get my teeth cleaned. When I asked who else I could speak with, the office manager refused to give the next person in powers name. Very disappointed and inconvenienced by this experience.

All of the staff at Town Dentistry are very welcoming and put you immediately at ease. Dr. Thompson and her assistant , Lizzie were very professional and thorough and made sure I was comfortable with all aspects of my procedure. A great place to get routine and specialized dental work.

I cant say enough positive things about Town Dentistry in Brookhaven! As someone who HATES going to the dentist, they definitely make the process easier and more comfortable than anywhere Ive ever been. They will answer any questions about costs (to the best of their ability) and are very honest about what needs to be taken care of and what isnt a concern. Ive never felt lied to here and actually look forward to my scheduled cleanings now! I have decent dental coverage, so I cant speak much for the prices since I dont pay out of pocket most of the time, but Ive never been blindsided or shocked about any bill Ive received from them. Theyve also recommended great doctors for non-dentists procedures (I needed a root canal on a tooth that has been bad since before I came to Town Dentistry and I finally got around to getting my wisdom teeth removed) and both recommendations were fantastic!

Ive been going to Town Dentistry Brookhaven since 2016. Even though my wife and have moved farther away since my first visit, I dont see a reason to leave. The Dental Team are amazing! Theyre flexible when it comes to scheduling - and will even send friendly reminders - and provide top notch dental care. Now, my son has started going and hes loving it as much as a 2 year old can :) I would highly recommend booking your first appointment with Town Dentistry Brookhaven. This dentist is at least 3x times more expensive than any dentist in the area. They are one of those places that quote you one price then try to get another couple hundred dollars out of you a few months later. Don’t be fooled. You’re paying plenty extra for the plush office and gift basket.

Up until yesterday I hadn’t been to the dentist in 8+ years. Being that I was experiencing some irritation with my gums and sensitivity with my teeth, I knew it was time to go and face my fear. I looked up a few practices and stumbled upon Town Dentistry.Initially from setting the appointment, over the phone, I spoke with Bianca, who was extremely kind and welcoming. Willing to wait as I took several nervous minutes to find my dental ID, with no pressure, and she made pleasant small talk. Cut to me being the actual office the next day and come to find out she is exactly the same way in person as she was over the phone. Cheerful, delightfully sweet, thoughtful, and a great listener. Also, she gives awesome restaurant recommendations just FYI!Next up I worked with Martie, who did my actually cleaning. I stressed to Martie my nerves and how anxious I was feeling because it had been a while and I knew my teeth and gums had to be in bad shape. She reassured me she’d take care of me and be gentle and patient. The cleaning went smoothly. Her expertise clearly showed. She cleaned my teeth effortlessly, while checking on me and my anxiety the entire time, actually taking the time to generally get to know me and my interest, and how I’ve been doing during COVID-19. She actually made me feel safe and I appreciate her for that.Once Martie had expertly cleaned my teeth, I met the wonderful Dr. Pike, who honestly is a pure delight of a woman. I couldn’t see her mouth obviously (YAY COVID) but I could tell she was smiling during the entire interaction which made me feel wonderful and ready to do what I needed to do to take care of my oral health. She came back to give me the prognosis and advised I’d need two have two fillings done. All the while, reassuring me that I’m in good hands and that she actually cares about my welfare and the welfare of my teeth.Today, I went back to have the fillings done. Anxiety and nervousness on 100% LOL I see Bianca and feel a bit at ease. We chat for a moment. Truly a wonderful spirit that one. Next, they take me to the back and I sit with Faye who preps me for the procedure. She was absolutely my fave! Such a great listener and honest person. Her conversation helped keep my nerves down. She knew just what to say and do to keep my blood pressure down (as this was a struggle originally when I sat in the chair). She was just so related and real. It felt good to be in her presence. She has a great way of making people feel good about themselves.Dr. Pike comes in, radiant and cheerful, finishes the fillings in an hour flat, and I walk out feeling better than I’ve been in months. Not just from the kindness shown to me by the ladies at this practice, but because they helped me conquer a fear, and make sure this pearly whites stay pearly and healthy!I just want to thank all the ladies and the team! This was my second visit. They did a great job explaining and showing me why they recommend dental work. The technology they use to clean teeth was much faster and I got better results than the usual scraping of tarter. Very happy with the doctor and hygienist. Also. they were more than accommodating when I called on Saturday to reschedule a Monday appointment.

I live about 35-40 minutes from this location. I have no problem driving across town to get great service. The staff is so friendly and very professional.

This dentistry is all about money. They wanted to sell me something every time I went in. I also had a cavity every time I went in. The first two times they said I had one cavity and I normally dont have any at all. So I thought, OK, sure but still was a little suspicious. Then the 3rd time I went in they said i had two cavities. They wanted to schedule to get them filled and I said no and swapped dentist. The new dentist said I had no cavities. This dentist is ONLY about money and that is it.

I was referred to Town Dentistry when I first arrived in Atlanta 5-1/2 years ago. It was the best experience that I ever had with a dentist and I havent looked back. Dr. Frodge was Dr. Bussey back then. She is always gentle in her approach. She understands the anxiety that most people have when going to the dentist and does her best to alleviate that anxiety. Ive had some harrowing experiences with dentists so it was such a relief to have a doctor who takes her time to explain everything and make sure that I am not experiencing any pain. The office staff is wonderful and the tech who does cleanings is thorough and careful about her approach to doing therapy on my gums. I have recommended Town Dentistry to a friend and she felt the same way about her experience.

I liked this place for the first few appointments. They told me how much my treatment was gonna cost (with insurance) before my next appointment. However, they charged me more for last couple of appointments, more than what they originally told me. They are inconsistent and they want to take all your money. I just chose to switch dentist, so tired of overpaying.

One of my crowns came off so I went in to have it cemented back in. Everything went great. Everyone at Towne Dentistry is wonderful. My husband and I have been going there for about 7 years and they are always awesome!! I would recommend them to everyone.

I have visited both locations. Very professional staff, offices are beautiful, clean, very modern. I have never seen a staff member not smiling and greeting you. The Dentists are all top notch. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my oral care. I love my Dentist Dr. Frodge.

If youre like me, you hate going to the dentist. Well this was a very pleasant visit. I decided to change dentists after 15 years due to location. Sasha and Dr. Frodge were very nice and took care of me. I always get anxiety when going but they put me at ease. Very clean, professional, calm environment.

Nice place & great service! I felt very comfortable. They made sure I knew what was covered under my insurance. There were a couple small things that I was not covered for but were recommended. They explained to me the benefits of the extra procedures and what the additional cost would be. I havent had any other dentist explain to me as well as they did and provide me with what my payment would be beforehand.Rare to find a place that is kind and very thorough, highly recommend!
