WARNING WARNING ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️This place is a prime example of what to tell someone when they ask you, what is the darkest side of trucking? I don’t know where to start, but this is my 4th day trying to get unloaded. Checked in on the 3rd day at 2:30pm, assigned a door at 6pm, now is 6am next day. My trailer still untouched. I don’t know how long this will be going on for me, but you’re being warned not to take a load here. Read the comments and save your time and your mind.I’m mad google is not allowing me to give them -5 stars.

Nice enough lady at reception desk. Arrived an hour early and provided a door immediately. That’s where my good review stops. Staffing issues had me untouched for over six hours. Didn’t get unloaded on the day of my appointment.

My first experience was 4 star. Not bad really lot is tight with dropped trailers everywhere from entrance to exit. But if you can back a trailer in a dock door like you should be doing almost everyday U won’t have to much issue. Anyway arrived 8am ish. Unloaded with bills in hand before 9am. Staff seemed motivated to get the job done. I’m curious about all the bad reviews maybe because I work for mega carrier that will definitely get me paid detention idk. Not bad overall not bad at all. Until next time we shall see If they keep up the good work. Drive safe all. Go off I285 exit 2 takes you straight there easy

I came in on a Sunday morning at 0600 but there were drivers here from the night before that was still waiting to get unloaded because the night shift in receiving did not show up for work. My experience was good out by 8 even when left over drivers. Parking outside on the street is limited maybe 8 trucks if everyone park correctly.

Going on 20hrs on delivering. Was four hours early for my appt, five before shift change and I’m still here after a whole shift going on two now

Do not come at this business. They are ridiculous. They dont delay by hours but delay by days. WARNING WARNING ⚠️

The only good thing I know here is that the girl in the office was nice. So if youre here and they get done with you in 3hrs then you should know it was definitely a miracle because by their normal operations youll be on the door for 5 to 10hrs and might still be counting. Their workings is very frustrating

Utterly Ridiculous! You have been warned! Arrived at 2100 for a 2130 appt. Currently 0830 next morning still not unloaded. Clerk claims they have no overnight receiver, but you set late appointments. STAY AWAY!!!!

They take forever!!! You can park over night outside the fence. There’s plenty of trucks parked out there. But the place is super slow! Even with an appointment! It don’t matter! I had a appointment at 9am they didn’t put me in a door til 10:15am now I’m in a door and they haven’t touch my trailer and I been in this door for over a hour now! Very tight backing into a door as well! No room!

Long waiting time...no early delivery...few parking on street if u r lucky....some drivers says wait over 6+h?....r u kidding...

Please dont come, please dont come. I was looking for -5* unfortunately my phone doesnt have. I had an appointment 6am to 16pm and I got here at noon. Now It is 22:11pm and still I dont have a door. I have never have this kind of experience in my entire trucking life. I feel like I am sick. I was trying to check the reviews but I couldnt find east point, GA which I am stuck right now. Please get paid for all this kinds of damage before you come here. I hope you will read this before you have a lod coming to this place. It has been 34 hours now I didnt get unloaded

This is the worst receiver EVER… STAY AWAYDRIVER HAS BEEN ONSITE FOR OVER 8 HOURS PAST HIS APPT TIME AND THE RECEIVER DOESNT EVEN KNOW WHEN THE’LL OFFLOAD. WE’RE BEEING TOLD THERE IS ONE PERSON WORKING AND THEY CAN’T DO ANYTHING OR KNOW HOW MUCH LONGER HE HAS TO WAIT. HORRIBLE

Receptionist was cool but i showed up at 1900 for a 2000 appt and didnt leave until 0200 the next morning. All i had was FIVE PELLETS!!!

A very aggressive and rude woman works in the shipping department. She really cant work with drivers. She speaks insultingly. I was there from 4pm checked in and loaded In 11:30 pm . Just crazy

2nd time here was better then first when i got lost by the gps. So far so good, got here 30 min before appointment and got a door right away, they even remove the seal from inside which is a nice feature. People seem pleasant and they have restroom facilities but no OT parking. Quick to unload.

To my surprise this was a great place to come unload they got me right in and out I didnt have any problems and no lumpers

Can park on the street right in front of this place. When you come to the second stop sign there will be a little sign on your right that gives you a number to call to check in. This sign is where you turn in to deliver to Martin Brower. Do not go to the second entrance. Checked in at 615 for a 630 appt and put into a door immediately. Unloaded within 45 minutes.

This customer should get a zero, had a 6:30am appointment, call the day before, the CSR sent my company a Email saying I could come in a day early, arrived at 2 pm , rec. Said no one told them I was coming in, they refused to call their CSR to confirm my story, then they tell my appointment was at 8:30 am, The Supervisor Brandon wasnt no help at all, had to set for 19 hours before getting a dock. I will never go to a Martin Brower Company again, this is my 1st post on any company, the drivers needed to hear this

This place is ridiculous. Backed to the dock 7am, theyre just unloading me 3:30pm. Goodluck drivers.

Not much room to work with.

Receiving clerical staff very friendly. Call the number to get a quick door assignment . Will attempt to work you in if you are late due to tight receiving scheduling they have. Always a pleasant visit when I come to this facility. I’m always in and out in about 1.5 or 2 hours.

You guys need to sleep the all day come and see them

Be careful everyone!! If you think youll be late , dont come in. My driver was late 1 hr as there were accidents, he was hold almost 24 hrs. Unbelieveable.!! Spent Thanksgiving at their place. Not only him, but all the drivers that arrived at the same time as him were hold 24hrs. Never coming again to this place.!!

Got out in 2 hours not bad

I parked on the street right outside the exit gate overnight. Got in an hour early and out in 2.5 hours. Very nice women in office. Very professional. Lots of empty trailers around but I have a 300” WB PETERBILT with a 53ft spread and had no issue of backing into a door. If you’re a professional driver and haul reefer freight this is one of the better places. I’ll come back.

Friendly enough staff with room to back. Do NOT pull onto their yard without calling 1st.Yard does does NOT have overnight parking, but there is parking on the street. Quick unload, and will take you early.

Please dont go to Martin Brower East Point, GA. Unloading time is awful not enough people working, so no one to unload. I arrived at 8:55pm for a 9pm appointment and didnt get unloaded until 10:20am the next day. DRIVERS BEWARE GO AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Great unload times parking on street

Make sure to stop outside the gate and call receiving before entering the yard. They do not have enough space for you to turn around in and they want to keep the yard flowing instead of drivers doing 50 different things. Call, theyll assign you a door, back in, dont break the seal. I showed up an hour early and I was gone two hours later. Definitely not a bad place to deliver to - but they left an obnoxious amount of broken wood in the trailer.

My husband and I arrived at 11:50 and waited 2 hours before they called us with a spot to unloaded then it took them over two hours to even start unloading seems like the people who work here take their sweet time and don’t care.

Arrived the night before with a 9am appt the next day. got me in at 6 am out within an hour. was not bothered parking overnight on the street but I did see a couple cop cars drive by in the morning.

Ill give this one up as a CMV delivering goods : I was 45 min early for appt. Staff friendly, got me in and out with a smile BEFORE my appt time. Got me out before ATL/285 traffic set in. Happy driver!

Its a good place with some good tv channels on the tv in the trucks

Got unloaded in one hour, dock door is real easy to back up to ,leave your doors closed.

We had a food cost class there from my JVT organization .The service was great and they were so professional. Sheila has been around for quite sometime,and she is the best.

Arrived at 0300 for dedicated run, facility opens at 0700. Checked in and was informed that they rescheduled the appointment time while I was in transit. New delivery date and time is over 50 hours from the original appointment. Martin Brower failed to notify the Shipper, Carrier, or Driver. Receiving said they would still unload me today, that was 9.5 hours ago and still waiting. Looks like I will be here tomorrow unless I get the OK to take the shipment back to the Shipper. These people are real good at messing up and not taking responsibility for their actions. Wish I could give them less than one star, but one is the lowest rating available.

Waited on the Yard guy for over 30 minutes circling their lot like a buzzard before they just decided to assign me a different door. I thought this was Martin Brower not Werner Enterprises. It seems that they want to make the truck drivers challenges of backing up way more difficult by keeping a ton of unnecessarily empty trailers in front of the docks.

Fast unloading! Receiver told me it’s ok to park overnight on the street!

Checked in at 7:30 am for a 7 am appointment my company even called and told them I was stuck in traffic and here I still set almost 14 hours later slow is a understatement. Then the recieving clerk gonna tell me their short staffed only got one person on the dock but you got 10 or 12 standing around in the hall at the clock running their mouths really come on now with the bs tell that to someone else

Check in 12:40, check out 2:40. I say two hours is reasonable.

Receiving staff were nice and polite and it only took me about 1 1/2 hours to unload. I had van freight(bags). Maybe it takes longer depending on the type of freight.

Get you in and out fast and overnight parking on street

This place is horrible and the people could care less about the drivers that deliver here. Held me for more than 5 hrs claimed they called me and went out side and didnt find my truck. 0 missed calls and my truck didnt move for 5 hrs since the moment I got there. Avoid this place like the black plague. You can read my other reviews I dont often leave negative ones unless they deserve it. Oh I only had 3 pallets to deliver at 0°

Nice people but total incompetent. Waited here over 8 hours to unload. Everyone here today waited 6-8 hours. They need to go see how the Conroe Tx works. Never had to wait there. This place is among the slowest of the slow. Clueless or just dont care about truckers I will avoid this place.

These people are rude they are nasty hateful racist if you are late one minute expect to sit at the gate looking at the yard full of empty trailers blocking ability to manuver with multmultiple empty loading docks. No OVER NIGHT PARKING.

No staging and can be a lil tight when trailers parked in front of doors but isnt rake long to unload people were friendly

Well I survived there for 30 days I really dont think it was the job I think it was more so of the people and the constant complaining of their everyday job being a picker is not easy is constant work movement and everything is heavy if you like to work in the freezer dry or cooler maybe this spot for you!

Dont ever pick or deliver a load to this company if you are an owner operator or not their carrier because they will hold you up all day until they are done with their carriers before attending to you.

Easy enough to get in and out of for pickup. Bathroom available.

Kinda crowded with empty trailers but they get you in and out and dont nail you with a lumper fee.

THESE ARE THE MOST RACIST PEOPLE I PERSONALLY HAVE EVER DELT WITH...Yet this is a MCDONALDS distribution center be prepared well before ATTEMPTING TO MAKE ANY DELIVERY the yard is extremely small and there are multiple empty trailers blocking any kind of maneuvering....make sure to pack a LUNCH and DINNER...and as for the bathroom they denied me use and I am a FEMALE DRIVER....EVEN after I PLEADED with them at the RECEIVING OFFICE...I WILL NEVER MAKE A DELIVERY HERE AGAIN...and unless u are ready to have some of the same treatment STEER CLEAR...THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES
