Ive said it before Ill say it again, this is a terrible place for a pickup. Once again Ive waited over 10 hours just for 12 pallets.Drained eld hours. I dont understand why it takes so long.I dont know if ,theyre under staffed, or if its laziness or incompetence. Drivers if you can avoid this facility. They dont care about Drivers or our time. Cked n early to load, not bad loading time.

Aint much room to back in if going to the E dock. You have to drop your trailer and pull to the front and wait for them to call you. More room to back in if going to the G dock and you dont have to drop trailer. They do allow overnight parking if you can find a place to park. You can find a spot where all the drop trailer are or go to the far end of the building past the G dock to the little dirt area and park there

Just went in to pick up an empty. Nice guy in shipping. Friendly yard guy. Not bad.

The 1st time I pickup here, it was about a 3 hr wait. This is my 2nd time, and its rough now. Got here at 8:30am for a 9am appmt, was told they were still working on last nights loads. It took 4 hrs to get into a door, but that an hr ago and they still havent started yet. But, thats not the bad part. If your a rookie driver, good luck. Really tight backing because of the woodline in front of the docks. But, they seriously need to work on the parking lot. They got holes that will cut your tire if you aint carefull, and on some holes they have metal plates that move and rattle when you drive over it.

Avoid this place if you can , got here 5:30 am at my 6:00am appointment but still here at 11:am please avoid

Formerly known as NORDIC COLD STORAGE - MAKE LEFT AT ENTRANCE. Easy check-in and it has OVERNIGHT PARKING BUT NO RESTROOMS on site and Quick load as well. CAN BE Very tight spots so becareful when backing. Quik Trip VERY SMALL truck stop just down the road.

Not bad. 2.5hrs loading. Did give it three stars but adding another because you can park overnight. Which is huge because there is really no other places to park other than the 10 spot QT within 20-30 miles.

I have been pulling freight from AGRO for years now. If Im looking to go back to Phoenix AZ, this is where I pick up from, done it since 2005 if I can remember correctly. I have nothing but great things to say about AGRO, and its not really the company itself, its the people that work there. Hard working people, doing their job and doing it well. Im usually out of there a few hours before my appointment time. In fact, yesterday I had an appointment for 11 be pm, one of the workers came to QuikTrip to get me so I can get loaded earlier. Like I said, just awesome people, extremely easy to work with and I almost forgot, the freight is super light and the pay is competitive.Sorry about long winded post, but you cant do these guys justice in a short post, I still feel like I havent said enough nice things about them.I will keep going to AGRO for as long as theyre shipping freight and I can get me a load.TL;DRGreat company with amazing people. Light freight loaded fast. Ships at -10°F but its always precooled and well packed and shrink-wrapped, never had any issues since Ive been hauling from here starting back in 2005.AGRO, you have great people working there, keep doing a great job.

The E dock is definitely tight. If you get sent there, it’s in the back. Pass by the guard booth and check in at 65. Fast load time, but other than that, expect the usual ‘hospitality’ from a place in Atlanta.

Can get very congested, and with trucks parked along the fence, hard to back in...

Truck entry on south end of building. Stop at guardshack, then follow road straight around. Shipping & receiving (Door 65) begins check in at 0500, no earlier. North end has parking available after unhooking & waiting on trailer to become mt. Very smooth, fast process. In & out within 2 hrs. Make sure to set up maneuver correctly & precise. 👍

Not a bad place, just really, really congested around the back, heed warnings on other reviews. Tough backing maneuver, not impossible, but more easier for say a lightweight, yard dog. Not a bad place to deliver, just not sure I want to come back because that backing maneuver just seems a bit too much...

Everyone was friendly and professional. The lot is total chaos, nowhere to park while checking in, if you are in the back “E” dock the docks are extremely tight. They should have a drop area and have yard trucks spot the trailers.

Terrible attitude the yard guy has who moves the trailers around always in a bad mood and is very negative about everything even used bad foul language

Very very tight area to back up. Dont be late. $150.00 fee. Loads arent that heavy either. Come in and go to the left and follow to guard shack.

I have been to their Flowers division multiple times and my experience was consistently positive. Good thing is that they are open 24/7. Fast to get you back on the go. Some spots are a bit tight and too dark in the night. Some lighting is helpful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Yard is partiality in need of a new pavement. Hence the 4 stars.

In and out great place

Went to pick up a load of prepared foods at Flowers Foods Specialty Grocers and the attention was marvellous.Being on time is the key to the immediate response you get at distribution centers like these.I was first told to wait for a door by the clerk,then immediately another worker guided me to a parking spot from his trailer-tow ,simultaneously;a subordinate gave me a door and within the hour I was picking up the paperwork to deliver my load to Texas.Thank you for kindness.

The E Dock for refer loading is Tight and will test your backing ability.Lady at the guard shack is really nice and recieving/shp was straight forward. Dont expect any special treatment or amenities here. Load and go.

By far the tightest backing Ive ever had to do at a customer. This is proven by the fact that people have mowed over the chain link fence across from the docks many times. They are fast to unload. Theres parking IF you can find an open spot.

Was known as nordic, now agro cold storage. Pathetic place to deliver. Slow to unload. 10 hours wait here. Staff move very slowly, almost lethargic. Not sure why. Are they some kind of union workers? 10 hours to unload 4 pallets. Thats after getting harrassed at the check in window. . .for information they already had. Press like if informative.

Rude and cars like to drive behind you when you are backing up. They love to waste your time.

Hello, I want to ask for special greetings to Nordic cold storage staff, these people gave me a relaxation for more than 20 hours. Yesterday I came 20 minutes with fading and still waiting to load me. But I understand that from the other claims that this is a wicked practice no matter Did you get hurt or kicked up? I will never come here again. Many greetings to the companys management.

Take me 3 hours to get unloaded was not bad at all as a reefer.

Arrived at 0200 on 1-21-20. I was really tired, I was hoping the guard would allow me to park there until my 1000 appointment. Pulled up, the older security gentleman guard said hey young man you can park over there and come back and check in at 0930. I followed what he told me I was in a sock by 0955 and out by 1125. 💯

Got loaded up fairly quick and on my way

Very polite. Very helpful and accommodating. Allowed me to park there while my hours regained. Unloaded me in an expedient manner. Hope I get to go back.

There are several sections at this place. I dont know where the people writing the negative reviews are picking up, but I picked up at the bakery dock and it was great. My appointment was for 1800 and I got there about 1300. They had me loaded and gone in about two hours and everyone was polite and helpful.

Its never fun to try to pick up a load at Argo! No room to spare but they do a pretty good job of moving everything along.

THIS COMPANY SUCKS! HERES THE REASON WHY.Got hired by this place as a forklift driver. However, they felt the need to place decoys (hereinafter - employees) in todays orientation with me. TOTAL loosers were very arrogant and condescending. In my mind, Id already quit after 15 mins in but, decided to go along for the ride.I GUESS PLAYING I-SPY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LOADING TRUCKS TO THEM. STRAIGHT GHETTO ENVIRONMENT! I bet the community knows about this place. Hence, the reason for little or no turn out from the HUGE HIRING SIGN posted out front and being GROSSLY UNDERSTAFFED..Just me and three great pretenders at orientation. Same employees (thugs) working in the warehouse the day I filled out an application a week ago. I never forget a face. Wow! Now I understand all the bad reviews. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I QUIT A JOB SO FAST. Something is very wrong with this company. Sneaky and conniving. TOTAL waste of time.P.S. - They even tried to trick me into signing a VA Form 10-5345. I refused. I know my rights. I would never allow these hoodlums, or anyone for that matter, to have access to my personal records. These people are crazy and up to no good.

Security guard was very rude!! Talks to drivers like they are a kid. Dont ask questions to the security guards. They will tell you to shut up. Docks are very tight. Loader asked for a tip to load me faster!! I said no way,but still got out of there in about 2 hours..

This place is a joke, dont accept a load from this place. Arrived at 7:35am for a 9am load its now 8:15 pm and still waiting. No one knows whats going on. Been inside 3 times with no results. This place needs an overhaul of its employees. They are lazy and dont care. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE!!!

09:00 appointment for driver. Now 16:00 and driver is still not loaded at Nordic Cold Storage. (They do not care about drivers time either) This place is a joke. After 7 hours waiting, and only half a truck loaded, they wanted $150.00 to unload their freight as we did not want load anymore. Avoid this shipper unless you are trying to do your 34 hour shut down.

This place is terrible. I checked in at 7:12 pm for a 9 pm appointment to get loaded. Finally at 12:30 am I go inside and talked to the guy loading my truck and he said they are still picking the items for my truck. He said it looked like at least another hour before they would have me loaded and then it would be up to them on how long for the bills to be ready. I explained to him that I need to be leaving soon or I will be late for my delivery appointment, of course he didnt care if I was late or not. It would be nice if these shippers and receivers were restricted to times like the drivers were on log books. This place is very unorganized and needs some management to help guide the loaders to do the job they are paid for. When you walk inside especially if you are picking up where you have to check into door 99 you will meet a peach of a lady...... Never seen anyone as unfriendly as she was. I do hope that this will be my very last visit to this hell hole of a shipper.

Another s***t hole! Another day of my life just wasted because of some dumb a*s mother f*****s. Had an appointment for 9:00. Now is 17:30 and Im still waiting to get loaded. They had to reschedule my delivery appointment and Im wasting time and losing money! These companies should be taken out of business!!! Period! If someone steal from you they go to jail right?! Well, they are stealing money from us! I had a delivery appointment for tomorrow and another load to pick up already but no I have to cancel!!! Isnt this stealing? Slow at peak seasons, quick if preloaded, can drop trailer and go run errands and get showers or food if needed. Parking available on site or down the street 1/10 of a mile at QT truckstop, newly remodeled at the truckstop so they have all the bells and whistles...truck it safely my fellow drivers!!!

Ill never pick up any loads to this place again.Going on 15 hours and still here. The workers come out to their cars more than they work.Only good thing is theCina star restaurant delivers here. Few other truckers got some food delivered here along with ours from the place. Food was good.17 hours and nothing. They can stick this load where the sun dont shine. We canceled this load and left.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE LIKE THE OTHER REVIEWS SAY.

If possible, rating would be -5. Been here for over 25 hours and still not loaded. Thanks to the very rude staff at Nordic, this load will not be on time. Their claim is that my appointment time was 13:00 yesterday, everyone but them say 15:00 yesterday and I was here at 14:00 yesterday and the made me a work in. Finally put me in a dock at 08:00 today, now 15:40, and STILL NOT LOADED!No place to get food, and held hostage by a partially loaded trailer.One other thing, told me to precool my trailer to -10°.Reefer ran all night precooling. They put me in a dock almost 8 hours ago and THEY SHUT MY REEFER UNIT OFF! WHAT A WASTE OF FUEL!If I have my way, Ill NEVER see this place or its RUDE STAFF again!!!

As advertised. Arrived at 16,45 for an 18,00 appt and checked in. Given dock at 20,00. Sporadic loading began at 20,50. Sealed and bills at 03,15. At least I got detention pay. Caught unnecessary attitude from the desk jockey for asking a question but that is at a lot of places.

It was difficult for me to back into due to small area to turn in.

I worked at this garbage ass place for a year and the pay sucks. I would refer my own worst enemy to work here. Glad I move on to a better job...

Arrived alive, a feat itself when coming through any part of atlanta! Arrived 30 minutes before my appointment time, ended up an hour and a half late because the guard told me to go to door 99 which I foolishly mistook for a sign that I was supposed to dock at that door, which wasnt the case. Sat there for over an hour before I realized I was supposed to check in, yes I know... points against me. In my defense though usually through the company I work for, the guard usually handles telling me where to go and what door to dock in. They try to hit me with a late fee, stating that I wasnt there and signed into the office by my appointment time. Very rude, very unprofessional, attitude galore like I and every other truck driver there owed them. Got me into the door, took about 5 hours to load me. Three of the other drivers I spoke to told me they were considered late too because Noone told them where to check in and they were actually charged the late fee. No diversity in personnel who worked there. Shocker that was?! It is Atlanta after all. Note to you driver who have never been there. Go to door 99, find a place to park, go inside and sign the damn sign in sheet. It seems they intentionally mislead you for that late fee.

It takes a lot to piss me off, but these ass holes had me seeing red. Dealt with them before and already saw it comming and declined the load.. DM basically said pick it up or youre done... I believe after dealing with these guys a second time, being fired would be preferable to comming here.

They will extort 150 dollars out of you and make you a work in if you are late. So dont get stuck in Atlanta traffic on the way here.

Personnel inside during the day great ..thats about where it peaks at. unless your a local everyday p/u here guard is rude as hell . nightshift is clueless. waited for daylight 6am to get loaded cause the load number wasnt correct. as per nightshift. same load number 6 am bam get a call 30 mins later backed into door normal 2-3 hr load time and gone. night shift grab some grocercies before you get there.

10 plus hours to get loaded, had to call the broker 5 times and put pressure on the shippers.Do yourself a big favor: if you are owner/operator reading this before driving here, CALL YOUR BROKER AND CANCEL THE LOAD OR ASK FOR EXTRA MONEY.If he asks why, tell him/her to tead these reviews.They will waste your time as they wasted my drivers.

This place is a joke. No care or concern for the driver. Almost every load is late. Entire facility needs a face lift... driveway, parking areas, restrooms... etc. Its a real shame people dont take pride in getting their jobs done, quickly & professionally!

Showed up 30 min late due to traffic and was charged $150 as a late fee and the load wasnt even ready, still took them 3 hours to pull the load and get it on the trailer. If you charge a late fee then at least be ready for the truck

This facility was designed for 40ft. trailers and cab-over trucks !!!!.... Not for conventional trucks and 53ft. trailers. Very dangerous for back in and out on parking lot and doc doors !!!!.... Every appointments loaded late !!!!.....

Worse place I ever been to... they gave me door 5 o clock in the morning but offloaded my truck around 10 o clock in the morning.... plus the docks on the back side of building are very tight.

Checked in 1hour before my appointment an stayed there 7an 1/2 hours I missed my next appointment. I had to reschedule my delivery.
