Absolutely archaic process behind opening a business banking account. I was denied for a business checking account due to a small ding on my personal credit. Youve got to be kidding me. My credit is good otherwise and I have established business credit, and a prior banking relationship, but yet youre looking at my personal credit to establish a business CHECKING account? A checking account... I have several business accounts with major banks (way better than delta ccu) and never have I had this happen. No business checking account ever takes your personal credit into consideration... except Delta. Im pulling my money out of delta today over this and closing my account. Long wait times and the atms are oddly sensitive to accepting cash. Not the friendliest service.

Could be more professional in a proper setting. The staff should have more training on how to act appropriately in a specific setting.It not good for the corporation. I rarely have this issue at other locations. I am disappointed with the immaturity and lack of etiquette thats displayed here.I understand they want to give opportunity for many. But please opt for some better training.As a customer who values customer appreciation and exquisite service. I would say this is at the bottom of my list forwards being a go to...unless its an absolute emergency.Throw the whole staff away!! Jking....

They are no better than a large bank. I have banked with them for 3 years and I can say the only thing that is consistent is they are rude. They do not care about the community, they find any reason to not help the consumer. I would not recommend them to anyone. I had high expectations when I started banking with them, but they are no better than a large bank. Ive moved my business back to a national bank where I know what to expect. Delta community as a whole sucks!

Ive had nothing but good experiences at the Riverwood location. Rebecca and Jack took excellent care of me and made sure that I was taken care of. Rebecca even stayed after closing hours to ensure that everything was done properly- every single staff member has been respectful and polite as well.

The Riverwood Branch is amazing! Thank you Jason Young your staff has been nothing but great to me. I appreciate the great customer service from Donna ,Jessica Ariana. They all have helped in such a way that has been a blessing. So kind courteous and attentive to my banking needs. Ariana helped open a account for my nephew and encourage me to open one the same day. Jason his staff were very helpful, professional and efficient. They pay attention to customers coming in and assess their needs. It was a busy Saturday when I visited and I only needed to add a checking account to my membership. Rather than let customers with minor needs sit Jason took it upon himself to assist me and other to expedite the process. I appreciate the delta staffs professionalism and care!

Don’t bother opening an account with delta community. In the 7 years I’ve been banking with them, they have constantly let me down. Blocked my account without notice, Cancel my card without notice in more than one occasion, cancelled my card tonight right before my trip out of town. And rather than unblocking my card per my request, they just repeat “it is not advised we do that.” I understand you don’t advise it, but due to my circumstances, and not being able to get to a bank before my departure because I’m leaving early, I need access to my card. But no, even with me authorizing and accepting the risk, my card remains blocked. So, after 7 years, I will be closing out my account with delta community, and never be using them again, and will never recommend someone to use them for any kind of service. Just save yourself the disappoint of a bank that constantly inconveniences you at the worst times possible.

The people in the location are great....this service is terrible....I am taking my business elsewhere totally. The app does not work outside of business hours.....I have had my card out on hold more times than not with no contact to reactivate causing me to go through the call cycle....and why do they ask for my information with automation if when I get to a live agent they still ask me for this information....what is the point. 3 years with this company and I am very unhappy with the results 😔

I go here once a month to deposit my emi for car loan. Good place. Not crowded usually. Staff is polite and helpful. It does not take more than 5 to 7 min for me here to deposit money in my savings account on any given day, so far.

I am writing to inform you of the outstanding service provided by Lori DeForest and Donna Morgan at the Delta Community Credit Union/ Riverwood location in Atlanta.Yesterday, I went to the tellers window to make a transaction. Lori (teller) greeted me with a smile and asked me if I considered applying for a Delta Community Credit Union credit card. Lori informed me of the special promotion offered. I was not thinking about applying for a credit card. But I was intrigued by the special promotion, APR, and benefits. She walked me over to Member Services. Donna of Member Services also greeted me with a smile and thoroughly explained the application process. Lori and Donna provided excellent customer service. I was approved for the credit card!Lori and Donna are star employees. I appreciated Lori and Donna going the extra mile to assist me. They were extremely informative, patient, and friendly. If you are like me and bank your Rewards Points through the year to buy gift cards etc. as Christmas gifts for others; you may be surprised (and very disappointed) as I am to see a NEGATIVE balance in your point cache this year.Why, you ask? Because every time I use Zel to transfer money, I get penalized (docked hundreds and sometimes thousands of points). I wasnt aware of this and use Zel a lot so I am thousands in the negative. I wont stop using Zel and since I have no hope of going into the positive for my Rewards Points, I may be seeking another Bank/ Credit Union that offers attainable incentives.DCCU is still getting a 3 star out of me because I have been a long term and happy patron, this just happened to be the thing that helped me to let go.

Only a member for about an hour. I had to come back a second day with my birth certificate to finish my membership application because my birth date on credit report with Equifax did not match with drivers license. Duh had to should my birth certificate to get my drivers license. This never been an issue with several other banks that I have accounts or credit cards. I mentioned with branch manager if one account in collections would be an issue with a personal loan to pay off two credit cards. I had hard pull with Experian credit bureau the second day. Was declined because of the account in collections. Now my score just dropped under 660 to lower to get a personal loan with a bank. Was hoping to get a better deal and was screwed. Canceled my membership and withdrew money. Why should I let you make money on borrowing my money when you will let me borrow money? Most unprofessional banking experience in my 43 years in life!

Horribly incompetent from their tellers all the way up to the branch manager. Absolutely horrendous location. They do not care about you and their customer service is horrendous. I will be closing my accounts with them and have my loan refinanced by another bank as well. Be warned: These people are untrustworthy and will not handle your money nor your finances with care and respect.

Believe the hype around the one star reviews. These people are criminals and they do not care about you or your account. They are not properly trained and it shows. They will close your account and take all your money and move it to a new account with new #s without ever properly informing you. Absolute scumbags. Even the branch managers are not properly trained in how to correctly handle situations in which theyve been 100% at fault for. Choose another credit union

My experience with this bank did not start off on the right foot. Let me start by stating that the customer service is very professional and helpful when you are in a branch office. My biggest problems with the bank has been their online system which made it very difficult for me to do anything. Id have to go to a branch office to withdrawal funds, deposit, check balances ect. When I would call in attempts to get the online problems resolved I was always told that the system is down for upgrading purposes and that it will be rolled out to a few members at a time. After a month I was ready to call it quits and search new banking centers.After the second month I was still unable to use any online services. I again made a call and was told that the system would be ready for me in a month (unacceptable). After I spoke with a manager I was able to get my account expedited and two days later I had all online access.The new banking app and online experience are very well put together and easy to navigate through. I guess for those who havent been able to use the online services as yet, continue to call and call

I use delta all the time for the convenience and disposition of the staff. And today Lacey badge number 0284 was the rudest teller I have ever encountered. I will not suggest this location to anyone. Unprofessional, dry, nonchalant attitude. When I’m trying to make a payment ! I’m giving you money. And I shouldn’t have to deal with your attitude.

Go to PNC around the corner instead. Run!This is my first time establishing an account with Delta CCU. My customer experience has been the worst of any bank Ive been with to date. The people in the branch make you feel like you are bothering them. When I call to speak with someone over the phone they answer as if they missed their lunch break - its like they are ready to get off the phone with you.I wont be leaving my business account with them because they dont deserve my money. This will be the shortest amount of time Ive ever held a banking account. Customer experience is far too important to me, and especially in a business account where I incur fees, I certainly can take my business elsewhere.

Horrible service. I opened a business account and instead of meeting with me directly the service rep had to run up and down the stairs to convey messages back and forth to the business account specialists. There is no phone number published anywhere on their website to access a live person, and when the automated line says it will transfer you to a representative the phone disconnects. The only reason to do business with the credit union is the low cost and the fact that there is a branch in the Atlanta airport.

I am in the process of buying a home and i have been given the run around by several realtors and banks. I am so greatful to have had the opprutunity to speak with Trisha Gunn in the mortgage department who was straightforward and gave me valuable information about the steps i needed to take beyond a large down payment. Seemed as if the realtors i talked to outside from Trisha did not have my best interest in mind like she did which makes her a very special employee. She actually answered all my questions and pointed me in the right direction. The world would be so much better if there were more honest and caring people like Trisha. She is the reason i will use this credit union when i do decide to purchase my home.

I thought becoming a member would improve my experience (after share banking became difficult due to new policies), but that was not my experience. Closed the account after a short time. I understand it may be frustrating for DCCU to serve people from other CU, but please just drop out of that system completely to save your image. I hope my credit union treats Delta CCU members better than this. A few of the tellers are nice and offering coffee is a nice touch, otherwise I suggest you avoid a frustrating experience by going elsewhere. FYI ... the ATMs no longer take deposits for non-members.

Delta community credit union has gone down hill .... i have been a customer for 25 years. numerous bad experiences, but recently I thought i misplaced my credit card and asked for them to put it on hold till I found it. Customer service said they could not do that. when i said that I thought other banks did it she said that they could if she sent me to another department. in a disgusted tone she reluctantly said she could transfer me.... but I said I thought you just said you could not. Bad Bad customer service.

Im glad/sad to see Im not the only one who has had their credit score dinged by the incompetent and poorly trained staff at this location. DO NOT BANK HERE! I went in to remove a person from my joint account and instead they secretly closed my account and moved all my money to a new account without ever providing me temporary checks, a new debit card, or even providing me with the new account number. My credit cards, student loans, rent, and other payments all bounced because of this.This is the SECOND time Ive been grievously inconvenienced by this bank because of their poorly trained staff. They do not care whether their incompetence will negatively affect your personal credit score, get you evicted, or have your credit cards frozen. These people are grossly negligent criminals. The worst banking experience I’ve ever had in my life. RUN!1. I consistently have 3-4 instances of fraud on my account each year. However, I’m never notified. I’ve always had to stumble upon it. The charges, which were made internationally and over $300, were never flagged to me.2. Terrible customer service. They never take responsibility or work to resolve issues and make customers happy. For instance, I initiated a fraud investigation, filed the proper documentation inside a branch and was refunded the next day. To my knowledge, the process was complete, as that was what was communicated and explained to me. However, three months later, I had that same amount (almost $600) taken BACK out of my account by the bank, with no notification or explanation – I had to AGAIN randomly come across it and make several phone calls to figure out what had even happened. There was constant miscommunication between general customer service reps and financial analysts, who blamed me for not filing the paperwork within a given time and saying Visa cancelled the investigation because they did not receive that information. The CSR said I could’ve found this communication on my app or online banking via the secure email service, yet the fraud analyst said the documentation would be sent via mail and not by them. I never received the paperwork (not sure if it was lost in the mail, lost in translation during a move, or what). I was never sent any kind of heads-up notice, phone call from them or any reminder to be sure and have this very important documentation signed and delivered. They offered me NO other solution, besides calling the merchant, which is Walmart MoneyGram. Total nightmare. I will probably not get that $600 back. This was after speaking to a customer service rep, fraud analyst, assistant branch manager and branch manager in vining’s.If you’re in the mood to lose money or deal with people who blame you for their lack of communication, miscommunication or overall competencies as a financial institution, then this is the bank for you. Anyone with a sense would run!

This is the worst credit union from local branch to customer service via phone to fraud department. Theyre the rudest most unprofessional individuals I have ever encountered. They must be trained this way because even the supervisors are rude. I sent an email to corporate. Ill see how she responds. Needless to say I moved ALL of my money and closed every account.

They do NOT care about your money!! They do not properly train their reps. It took us 8 hours to get a car loan. It took us 3 days to fix the problem when their rep decided to close my account, move all my money to a brand new account and not provide me with any of the details. It took an hour when I went there to deposit a check and instead they moved the money OUT of my account INTO the account of the person who wrote the check! Went to open up a joint account and instead they just made my personal account a joint account without properly informing me of how the process was going to look. Management just says, sorry. Scumbags!

Poor customer service is an understatement; the staff at this bank are rude beyond belief. I will say that I am not a member, but I am a member of a partnered credit union and I have been depositing at this branch weekly. This location advertises that they close at 5:30PM Monday-Thursday, but in this particular instance, they closed the branch 15 minutes earlier than advertised on the hours reflected at the front door. Someone stood inside of the bank and just stared at me as I tried to find out why there were already closed, no one would even come out to speak to me or let me in for a quick deposit since they were still technically open according to their hours. I then went to the drive thru where I was told that my check couldnt be deposited since it after 4:30PM...the teller gave me some crap excuse that because I was a member of another credit union that I they couldnt accept my deposit passed 4:30PM, which I know is a total lie since I deposit there weekly. In all actuality, the staff wanted to close early and go home right at 5:30PM, so they locked up and refused to take my deposit in both the lobby and the drive thru since it was too close to the end of their business hours. The teller at the drive thru was incredibly unprofessional and she completely lied - I would have respected the situation and the staff member much more if they would have simply just told the truth. All of this aside, I will be banking elsewhere. Delta Community doesnt have a single shred of understanding of what good customer service is and I will be sharing my experience with my friends and colleagues so that they do not waste their time banking at this institution either; there are plenty of other quality banks out there who actually care and dont mind assisting their members.
