You can’t go wrong with getting your hair cut here with Maddie. She’s professional, on time, always right on the cut, and consistent. I get my haircut here every two weeks and the price for what you get is great, and with Maddie you get a quality cut every time.

I really like Roosters because its always consistent. You can book online and you know youll get a good haircut everytime.I personally get my haircut by Juanita who always does a great job and is always super friendly.You pay a bit of a premium here($32 for a haircut) but its reliable and consistent which is why Im frequent customer.

The service at Roosters is excellent. Doris is the stylist I use and she is amazing! Very personal and professional, her attention to details is second to none. Rooster is lucky to have her! Highly recommend this place and Doris.

Visited this place for the first time and my experience was definitely not a positive one in spite of paying such a huge price for the haircut. The clippers used on the trimmer were not clean and had hair over them. The shampoo sink was full of hair and not clean again. The stylist was kinda rude when i asked her to do a few more touches cos the haircut i got was not even close to what i’d shown her in the picture and instead she said, I DONT HAVE TIME. I mean LOL. I pay almost $35 to get a nice haircut, and this is what i hear? Are you just worried about time and not the customer? I dont think im ever coming back here nor recommending any of my friends. Truly disappointing for a first timer.

Doris gives the best haircuts and I have been using her for many years. She is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to cut my hair.

Fallon is the best. I have been getting my haircut from her for roughly 2 years. That’s definitely not about to change.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Specifically the location off of Roswell Rd. If you want a decent haircut DO NOT go here. I have given this place two different chances approx. 6 months apart with zero change. The stylists DO NOT listen, they do not understand how to properly fade hair. They use blending scissors, cannot do clipper over comb. I have had my hair cut by 4 different “stylists” three of which totally scalped my fade down to skin like a buzz cut. This is despite sitting in the chair saying DO NOT CUT MY HAIR TOO SHORT.This place wants to be some sort of upscale men’s salon.. but needs the talent to carry that distinction. I am sure that some people who do not know any better will like this place.. but if you are particular about your fade and want a consistent haircut. Same cut, same way, same look, same results, every time, do not go here.This is the first time I have ever felt the need to leave a negative review about any business.. but somethings just have to be addressed. DO BETTER!

Wow, I am so glad I went to this! Beats Great/Sports Clips by far. I recommend this because the location was close, easy to schedule online, and offers different things.First arrived they asked me what beverage to drink and the wait was minimal! Then my stylist, Kym, was so great at suggesting and conversing that it made me feel appreciated and important.I even bought products that work! Worth the price and big discounts for referring more people to this. A gentleman’s lounge for sure!I was there last Friday 11/08. The manager with the nice brunette hair was genuine and Kym was awesome! I’ll see y’all in December or maybe sooner since I referred more people to y’all! :) thank you

Pegah never disappoints. Can’t speak to the quality of consistency of any other stylist as I’ve come back to Pegah for years. Hesitant to even post this as I have a hard enough time getting fit into her schedule but she deserves the accolades.

Juanita is the best barber in ATL that I’ve been to hands down! I’ve tired bishops, Rudy’s, 18-8, board room, no lie I’ve been to them all. Today was my 3rd time with Juanita and I’m telling you she knows what she is doing! Every other place just wants to get you in and out, Juanita has pride in her craft and it shows!!!

The experience was a very clean and hygienic one, specially in the time of pandemic. Not sure about the value of money though, but I liked my haircut.

Update 12/11/2015:I was nearby and needed a haircut on short notice, so I stopped in. Yvette greeted and sat me for a cut. Night and day different experience than my first visit. Great cut, very personable stylist, couldnt be more pleased. Recommend asking for Yvette! 5*experience. Upgrading review to four stars, balancing the two experiences!So, I went in expecting to be giving this place five-stars... but just cant.Pros:Online appointment scheduling! Booked my appointment from my phone at 11pm, including picking the stylist of my choice.Super easy to get in ...most of the appointment slots are free (I assume most folks do walk-in...).Cons:After booking my appointment with the stylist of my choice, I showed up to find she was not there. Not a huge issue (as I had never been here before), but no apology was made or explanation offered.. leading me to question if this would be the usual experience.Stylist was not at all interested in conversation... my usual experience is they try too hard to keep the chit-chat going. Not my experience with this stylist - even when I made the effort (asking questions and such), she seemed to be looking for an answer in as few words as possible. Made the entire experience uncomfortable.Finally... the haircut I got was just not that good. The cut by itself, with everything else about the experience discounted, was a three-star cut.Good option if you are close by and need to get in on short notice... I will not make it my usual destination.Update (04/30) - Received a call from the owner this morning to personally apologize for me not receiving a five-star worthy experience and even offered a free-haircut to make up for the cons I noted, which I thought was more than kind (though I declined). Ive been getting my hair cut here for a little over a year now, and for the longest of times it was great. Im sorry to say though that I will be looking elsewhere moving forward. My regular person had to go on maternity leave, and their replacement has not been up to my liking. Ive been trying to give them a chance but the last time I came here was the last straw. My haircut was a mess, and during the wash, i got water and hair all up and down my back, getting my shirt all wet and nasty.

This is my go to spot for beard and hair services. I always leave satisfied and feeling like a million bucks. The staff is very personable and highly skilled. Prices are reasonable and they also offer grade A products to go with the new beard trim or hair do.

I have been going to Roosters (Shelby for over 2+ years) I originally went to Roosters because of convenience to my house. I have since moved to a completely different area of town but have never considered going anywhere else. Roosters is the very best I have found in my life as far as mens barber shops! They always offer a drink when you walk in and take detailed notes for future appointments.

Called for an appointment last minute the receptionist had 2 available stylists at the time slot that worked for me and said both barbers available were licensed and both very good. I went with Pegga, she came over and greeted me and we had a really great first date. Im very fussy about my hair and she made me feel incredibly comfortable, she was very professional and as a result has earned my business. The conversation flowed great and I must say since being in Georgia the best cut Ive had.She mentioned after completing my haircut that she logs the details and they are put in their data base so she will have for my next visit and if some reason she is not available that the next stylist would have for their use.

This place is awesome! I have been looking for a stylist to cut my hair in Atlanta for years. The search is over because I found Pegah! Wow is she ever good. I mean, better than my stylist that I had for years in Beverly Hills, California, and better than the one I had in NYC. She is world class. The customer service here is amazing, great location, and super-comfy chairs. Its all wood on the inside, and has a really comfortable feel to the place. Highly recommended.

Been going here for years now. Phenomenal staff of seasoned and professional stylists. Great value - I love getting the neck-shave, shampoo and mini scalp massage as part of the Club cut. Worth every penny and very relaxing.

Newer to Atlanta a friend told me about Roosters and lucky for me I got Pegah on my first visit. Fast forward 2 years and I have not been to a other place or seen another person. Roosters is great but Pegah makes it amazing, her talent is incredible. I would highly recommend this place. They have a lot of services available and reasonable prices.

As with all barbershops/salons, it takes some time to find a barber/hair dresser who gets it right. This place is no different (and is a little more expensive than other options in the area). With that said, Pegah and Kym both do a great job (just make sure you book far enough in advance, because their schedules fill up fast)!

I go to Shelby and, though I dont have experience with any other stylists, if they are half as talented and enjoyable to talk to as she is, this place should win an award. The first time I walked in I said I want to do something different. 1 year later, we are still working on that style and I (and more importantly my wife) love my haircut more than ever.

Ally normal takes care of my hair for me and does a great job everytime! Unfortunately I missed my appointment with her on Thursday due to recently having ACL surgery. On Friday Wendy took care of me as a fill in appointment and she did a fantastic job! Really helped me out since I didnt have full mobility due to my leg. My girlfriend loves the way she styled and cut it so thank you Wendy! This barbershop is the best place Ive ever experienced! Thank you again keep doing what you girls are doing at this establishment.

I tried Roosters after reading all the 5-star reviews on Google+ and Yelp, and so I was surprised and disappointed with the quality of the haircut I received. The male hairdresser (the only male hairdresser working there from what I could tell) paid little attention to what I said I wanted done and barely even looked up during the haircut to see how it looked. Roosters selling-point seems to be its old-school barbershop atmosphere, but this is only affectation if they cant provide decent haircuts. For the quality, it is also fairly expensive - if I wanted a $10-looking haircut, I wouldve made an appointment at Super Cuts.If youre looking for a shapeless military buzz-cut, I think you will be perfectly happy here, but if youre looking for a good haircut, Id take your money elsewhere.

Hands down the best experience i have had when getting a haircut (which is a understatement). From the time i booked an appointment with the receptionist who was very friendly and informative till the time i got walked out of the door by Darius Tuff who went beyond the norm with great skills and paid close attention to detail after lending a listening ear after all the mishaps i have had elsewhere. The experience was great.... i will send a lot of people to the hands of Mr. Tuff. Thanks Roosters for taking hair grooming to another level. Consider me a regular!

Great. Impossible to get a shave and a habit cut these days in Atlanta. Very nice place great staff. Will be returning even though its 55 minutes away from me.

My son and I stopped by on Friday night and met with the owner and front desk person, they both were very nice. We booked his appointment on Sunday at 12 my son showed up for his appt and it was not in the book and front desk person could care less that there was a screw up. We will never be going back

Sometimes I take for granted how good of job Pegah does, but I got maybe 20 nice haircut compliments and it reminds me of why I always get my haircuts and beard trims here.

My husband came here to get his hair cut yesterday. He also got his ear cut. Yes! His ear!The stylist told him that he nicked his ear. When he got home to clean it and put a new bandaid on, he called me into the room to help. He wasnt nicked, the stylist cut a snap chunk of ear off!
