Beware! Do not go to this location unless you don’t mind very nice people trying to get as much money out of you as possible. Imagine Eddie Haskell from leave it to beaver yes he’s nice to your face but behind your back he will plan how to get over you regardless of what you come in for. As I waited for my car repair I witness first hand how they do it. Got a bad tire? They will tell you you need 2. I have had 2 bad experiences here and will not be going back. I found a great place with honest good people at Midas in Smyrna they get 5 stars across the board. Yes the people at this good year are nice but that’s how they get you to drop your guard. You have been warned stay away.

Went this morning because my tire pressure light came on after getting an oil change and tire rotation last week at my dealership. Doug and the technician working on my car were very nice and patient with me when explaining how tire pressure lights work and how to reset them in my car. I know nothing about cars so I was very happy that they were willing to teach me about the problem instead of just fixing it. I learned so much and will definitely be returning in the future!!!

Been going here for years for oil changes. Always good service especially from Wayne. Ask him about his baseball card and memorabilia collection! Very impressive! Anyway, while getting an oil change, the tech found an impact bubble on my left front sidewall and let me know about it. Could have been very dangerous if it blew while on highway! GREAT find! My father-in-law found this diamond in a ruff as I blew a tire the previous day. We couldn’t find a particular tire for my car anywhere and instead of giving me the run around, Doug was super patient, super friendly, and super informative. He recommended us a tire that pairs well with the other three perfectly! I was really stressed from my situation but he put me at ease right away. Because of this awesome service, I decided to also get an oil change as well. Thanks to Doug and Mitch, my car is ultra quiet and runs so smoothly! Keep these guys around!

Had excellent service done here in the past but today all I need is a tire changed and I arrived at 5:15 the guy said that they had no time ! The sign in the window says close 6:00. 45 min seems like a lot of time for 1 tire!!!

This is not my first time here! I find here bc its closer to my house. I came in today because my car was making a whopping noise...Mitch was great!!! He told me that I needed tires now!!! He got me all together, it took 4 hours but only because he worked magic with the courier on a Saturday to ensure I was safe with new tires today!!! I will be back for sure! Plus, Im really glad that they didnt make me wear my mask...they practiced social distancing and I felt comfortable...

I had a flat and pulled into Bob McDonald Goodyear today. I had timely service and bought a new tire at a reasonable price. Why only 3 stars?. Simple, the clerk did not ware a mask. There were 6 other customers while I was waiting for my tire, all of them wore mask as a courtesy to each other, but the clerk went un-masked the whole time. The other sfaff wernt masked either, but at least they were not up in your face, but the clerk stood much less away then the required 6 ft. from the customers, un-masked. There was a plastic shild around 3 by 4 ft on one corrner of the counter, but the clerk never stood behind it either.Since I am 70 and disabled, I could not change the tire myself, and driving any further would have distroyed my rim, I was stuck in a room with this man who showed no regard for the health and safety of his customers, thus my rating, I could not give a lower score, because the new tire was reasonabily priced and the service was timely

I went to this location today with a Goodyear flat tire. I asked the manager can the fix it. He tells me his business is slow and he has shutdown. I said to him I cant go any farther. He said , I am closed and it was 3:30 and his hours states 5pm. I think he would have told a white customer, i will send one of my guys out to plug it. He just told me he was closing because he was slow. I guess my money wasnt enough. Dont support this business! A customer is a customer no matter what race you are. People need to treat each other with love. With that being said, his workers were in the shop. DONT Go there!

Truck ran hot first thing in the morning. The service was fast and dependable. The guys diagnosed part was part of recall and was unbelievably honest. They performed oil change and other inspection and I was very satisfied with service. Highly recommended service spot in area hands down and perform ed a follow up call the day after...lol.

Trust is a two way street. The shop owner trusts that the consumer will patronize their business, and customers trust they are getting quality work from said business. If I ask are all my fluids topped off and air filters checked? I TRUST the shop did what they said and advertise to do. This sadly was not the case at this location. Not only where all my fluids not topped off and my air filters not checked, I got bumped down the list of being serviced.I called before I arrived and was told that there was no wait and if I were to come right then I could be in and out for a basic oil change. Good thing I was at the light when I called and turned in. I walked in and was greeted by a man with a push broom mustache, very pleasant, and a salt and pepper haired older men, not rude but not as welcoming as Mr. Mustache. I asked my questions and agreed to said services, even did the upgraded synthetic oil because I trusted the sale of Mr. Mustache. After 10min. my car continues to sit and wait to be pulled back. Another lady walks in and EVERYONE perks up to attend to her needs, test drive her car talk to the guys in the back about her car, focus on her car as I still wait and not have anyone touch my car. Now my time has turned into waiting until after her and two more people come in and there needs are met first. Now at the time of the visit I was very upset but I said nothing, I continued to wait patiently. Eventually my car comes around and the salt and pepper haired gentleman checks me out and tells me Oh by the way you may need tires. blah blah....Ok sir, what do you have in stock or recommend Im willing to make that happen today?well just check our web site and you can see what we have there.... Anyone reading this or who works in sales knows that, that sale was just lost!!But the icing on the cake for me is when I go to get a headlight bulb replaced not even a month from the visit of supposid oil change, I get notified that all of my fluids are low. I love this place and my husband and I have been coming for years. I came a few days ago and everyone had masks on. Im here today and very surprised that no one has masks on, not even the person working behind the counter. Some of the workers in the garage did. About 6 people in the waiting room and not one with masks. It was very uncomfortable and I wont be back until theres a mandate. Come on people, please do the right thing.

Waiting area and restrooms are clean if client needing to wait for vehicle. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Not a bad spot for auto repairs compared to most around Smyrna. A little pricey but friendly service and I always feel like theyre being honest with me. The one dark hair guy with the glasses and mustache has been there forever and hes great!

Wonderful. They’ve been around for a long time and have a good reputation. They will not take your money for unnecessary tire purchases or repairs, but will advise as to what should be done, how soon it must be done, and work within your budget. I came in to winterize the car and expecting to replace 2 tires, but was advised there was no need; just an inspection for any slow leaks and an air adjustment. Integrity impresses me.

I have used Bob McDonald Goodyear a few times to replace tires as well as to repair a puncture. They are conveniently located and there is a Starbucks and a Chik-Fil-A nearby if you have to wait. Staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable about their products.

Friday afternoon traffic on I-285, ran over a chunk on construction debris and punctured a rear tire. Pulled in just after 5PM. Patched the tire and reset tire pressure sensors. Back on the road in under 30 minutes, total cost under $30.Fast and courteous service amid the joy of Atlanta afternoon traffic, GREAT JOB gentlemen!

Scam.I work in the Overlook buildings in the Vinings so I went here for convening one morning.They ran a diagnostic test on my car and told me that they determined I need a Converter Assembly, Upstream Sensor, Downstream Sensor, and several other things. The price they put forth was around $1,800 not including my oil change and tire alignment. I almost paid them then I was encouraged to get a second opinion by a friend.I took my car to a locally owned small business and they ran a diagnostic... twice.... there was nothing wrong with my car other than some minor things that totaled $280.These people are bad people. Do not trust them.Go somewhere else.

John, Mitch and Doug again took care of me. I received an oil change on my new corvette with a sense of urgency and a outstanding price. Did I tell you before Leon is my favorite mechanic. This team is amazing! I’ve gone there now twice for oil changes and both times, their team has gone above and beyond. The first was to let me know that my battery was bad and to contact my dealership as my car was under warranty rather than pressuring me to purchase a new battery from them. The second was to take an extra 5-10 minutes and zip tie my wheel well that was loose after the dealership told me it was impossible. It’s wonderful to find a great place for car maintenance and know that they have an honest team.

Had a big issue while traveling home from Florida to Michigan. We pulled off 285 in Atlanta and luckily Bob McDonald Goodyear was there. They bent over backwards to get us back on the road! So I always go here to get my tires because it is very close to my office. I have a Toyota Corolla and this last time I went and they damaged the hub caps so severely that they keep falling off. They replaced the first for free but wanted $40 for the second one. The man then mansplained to me that it was the plastic on the metal; if that was the case, these would have fallen a while ago. (I’ve had the car for 5yrs).I will never be back. Period. Do not go here! Tires were also overpriced any way.And this response below is an excellent example of the level of service you can expect.

They have serviced my cars since I moved back to Atl. This past Saturday I took my moms car in for a simple oil change. It turned into all the filters, brake line service, and front brakes. This car only has 38k miles and is a 2015. The filters have been changed prior, but I questioned the brakes. I had a prior issue with an employee and this time spoke to the owner, who was absolutely horrible. I have filed a formal complaint with good year and will never recommend this location. Poor service. Rude staff and owner.

Ive been going here for a couple of years since its close to work, and theyve been great every time. Quality work at a reasonable price and done quickly. They also provided rides to and from work (only about 5 minutes away) so I could leave my car. Cant ask for much more than that.

In dropping off and picking up my car, I was called “sweetie,” “dear,” and “young lady.” It’s 2018, and none of those are endearing. It was patronizing and sexist. Their prices are also ridiculous. $48 to balance and rotate four tires. $25 to diagnose a tire sound - the tire was already off? Oh, and there was “no problem,” which is crazy, since I’m well aware of the loud sound emitting over 40 mph. Nah. I’ll go elsewhere next time. (In response to their response: Im also Southern. That does not equate to sexist or patronizing.)

I’m starting to learn to leave reviews for company’s. I was quoted one price and was on the phone and talked about another price another company qoted and it magically changed so $30 got me a changed tire having a flat. 🤔🤔🤔 Mitch was an assehole the entire visit. Bottom line I could have had a neighbor change my flat for free with a better attitude.

I went in to get two new tires and adjust the alignment. They told me my tire rods were frozen and I had to get them replaced in order to do the alignment. The total cost would have been $450 for the new tire rods and alignment. Fortunately, it was at the end of the day and they didnt have time. I took my car to Kauffman Tire and they said my tire rods were not frozen. So all Kauffman did was adjust the alignment which saved me close to $400.

Been a customer for the last 5 years! I have several vehicles that has been serviced. But recently I brought my volvo with 140k miles and the front tire wobbled when I went past 60mph. Mitch told me he could take care of it, I did not have much faith with that much mileage. When the Team finished the job, all I could say is . .. WOW!! the car runs better than when I bought it!!! Wheels aligned, new rims on rear, and struts replaced with precision. These Guys are really good at what they do. I love working with Doug and I travel all the way from Fairburn (25mi) just to have them exclusevly work on all of my cars. I TRUST THEM.

Normally I love this place but today Im left confused. I brought in car for oil change, tire rotation, balance and ignition switch changed because when you turn key car doesnt always start. Left car there an hour later get a call they cant do switch need to take to dealer. No problem, gave go ahead on oil change, tire etc. I get back to shop 4hrs later to find my car with hood up and windows down. Then learn my car had not been touched because they couldnt figure out how to start. You mean the same ignition switch issue I described and explained how I had to start car daily? And why would you NOT CALL me as you did to tell me you couldnt do switch. Instead I left car for 4hrs wasted my time and the simplest of tasks werent done and totally did not care or recognize how ridiculous it is that an an entire shop couldnt figure out how to turn the key. Completely disappointed and irritated at the lack of respect for my time.

This location is one of the worst customer service locations in the city. The manager is very rude and always feels that he is doing you a favor. Management is all about leading by example. I will stop servicing my cars at this location. I would rather drive into the city before I take my cars (3) there again. Technically I’m not sure he is the manager but he always answers the phone and works the front counter. So my apologies if this person is not the manager. However if not he should not be this locations greeter.

Great service! They provided drop off and pick up service to my place of work. They were super nice and did the work, which was alot, in a day. I will definitely use them again!

The air conditioning went out in my SUV. The exact issue was the AC would power on but not blow cool air. When I tried to explain to the gentleman at the front desk he would cut me off because he didn’t agree with my explanation. Without much of a choice I allowed them to work on my vehicle. When they told me the vehicle was ready, the explanation was that the vehicle only needed Freon. I was confused but the manager explained that good be the vehicle 48 hrs and if the AC would not function, return the vehicle and they would troubleshoot at no charge. This was almost a $300 dollar service to run an AC diagnostic and pour Freon. 48 hrs later my car went hot and broke down on the side of the rd. It was towed to Express Oil Change and they discovered that this Good Year location not only neglected the issue but also pulled my vehicle apart and incorrectly part things back together. My car went hot because the Good Year mechanics had no idea what they were doing and lacked the integrity to inform me. Of course when I tactfully explained this to them they denied wrong doing and didn’t offer to compensate for my inconvenience. But they thought my service dog was cool....smh

This place used to be the best! Quick service, competent technicians, now this place is horrible! Rude front desk staff, no attention to detail and the service takes forever. Then once its done expect to have to come back because it wasnt done right the first time! Beyond Fed Up! Will definitely be finding another Goodyear in the area.

Great service. I have been using this shop for the past 4 years despite the fact that I no longer live in the area and moved across town. Still go there because of the great customer service. I had a problem with my old tires on my RAV4. John McDonald helped me with the problem and got me 4 new tires at a great price. I highly recommend them for tires and service. It is worth the drive.

Theres a lot of these five star reviews that are from current or former employees or their family members possibly. Theres plenty of people on here saying that theyre nothing but a bunch of scam artists. I experienced the scam when I went there today. Went in for a simple oil change and upon receiving my vehicle back all of a sudden my key wouldnt go in the keyhole. I questioned what they had done to cause the keyhole to lock and the attendant tries to claim that the lock cylinders worn out. In the years that Ive had this vehicle this has never happened before. Automatically when I addressed it to them he tries to start telling me a new lock cylinder and offer to install it that day. A bunch of scam artist, just like others have said.

Unfriendly people. They do not have a good stock of tires. They cant ensure that hours posted on Google are correct. Complained that he did not have time to help me because he was bombarded by customers when they just opened. My guess is he was bombarded because the hours on Google say they open at 7:00am not 7:30am and there were a group of people gathering for 30 minutes before they were open because they cant get the hours right.

Rather than write a phony review and advertising another company which YELP should be ashamed about placing on their website. You will notice that all of the GOOD reviews are gone from YELP. I get my Jeep serviced there and NEVER had a problem with them. Rather than reading phony review that YELP wants you to see and not the other that REAL people have written I suggest you checkout other sites or call them for yourselves. Ive been going to the Goodyear on Cumberland Parkway for several years. They always give me an estimate before the job is done and the price doesnt change when the job is done. The staff is friendly and courteous to me every time and I know I can expect a quality repair every time I go.

Fast oil change, honest about time for service and the products used in the vehicles. They also were honest about my filters being dirty, and they showed me them. Where as other shops will tell you its dirty when it is clean...

Very nice staff, was out of town and had a slow leak in my tire they took a look at a tire for me and didnt charge.

Over priced and not worth the hassle.Vehicle was not ready when promised, staff failed to tell me that it wouldnt be ready until the next day. I had to call them at 3pm to find out that they wanted to keep my truck until the next morning to do something that takes less than 1 hour.

Terrible. I chose this place because of convenience; dont make the same mistake.I went in to check two things - I had some abnormal engine vibrations and a check engine light. They charged me $100 for the check engine light scan, which turned out to be just a loose gas cap. I tried to negotiate down but they wouldnt allow it. this could have been checked at an auto-parts store for free with their simpler tools. I suggested the engine vibration was due to damaged engine/transmission mounts but they said everything was fine. Then I took it to the dealership for a second opinion and found out two of my mounts were broken.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE DISHONEST. They charged me over $600 to replace CV axels and didnt actually replace them. I came back 10 months later because the I was having the same problems as before. They didnt honor my year warranty, claiming that the CV axels werent the problem. I then went to three other reputable repair shops look at the car, and all confirmed that the CV axels had never been replaced. They had replaced another part but still charged me for replacing 2 CV axels. I wish I could give them zero stars. After looking at other reviews, which were majorly negative, it seems this type of thing happens often at this location. Its unfortunate that the owner of this company allows such poor treatment of customers. Again, do not use these crooks! I can highly recommend ANYWHERE ELSE.

I bought tires for my truck and go in every 6k miles for a rotation. When they come to the waiting area they always tell the customer something is wrong with their vehicle. Always. Without fail. They told one guy he needed an alignment. He passed on getting it. Then they told me I needed shocks (one time) then the next time I needed something else. Mind you, I still hadnt gotten my regular mechanic to install new shocks, because guess what? I didnt need them! On top of that BM Goodyear asked me if I wanted to call my husband or significant other about the problem with my truck. I told them hell no! I maintain my vehicle! And, you didnt ask the guy before me if he wanted to call his wife! I hate going there! If it werent for Kurt, I wouldnt return to this store.

I went there recently and the service level was high quality. Customer Service was great.Free Wi-Fi and nice lobby to wait, or you can wait across the street and eat drink at Chik-Fil-A or Starbucks, or get some chores done.A big bonus is the location. You can walk to a pharmacy, grocery store, restaurants, Home Depot. cleaners, you can get a lot done when you multitask when you go to this GoodYear.

Always a fair deal. They have serviced two of my cars for over the past 5 years and I will continue being a patron many more.
