I just wish I had discovered this shop before I paid hundreds of dollars to a shady mechanic shop for unnecessary repairs that did not fix the problem.I never thought I would be able to trust a mechanic again, but my experience at Advanced Automotive Specialists exceeded all my expectations. Mark checked out my Jeep. He was able to identify the problem and make the necessary repairs. The work was super affordable and completed quickly. I trust Mark to take care of my car and not swindle me! He is such a nice person who pays attention to what your car needs instead of how to maximize his profits. Advanced Automotive Specialist is great. They were professional. My car wouldnt start wasnt able to get a tow until midday. They had a starter in stock, and I was able to pick up my vehicle later the same day. They charged a fair price. They answered the 2 questions I had and didnt try to sell me on other work like one a few of other places Ive been to before. As a female, I always have that dread that bringing in my vehicle, even for some routine maintenance, that some mechanic will try to sell me services my car doesnt really need. Its one thing for a mechanic shop to recommend services but another thing to say you NEED work on ..... I definitely recommend them and would return to this place if I have any other car trouble!

This place was referred to me by Mr. Transmission next door. My so called transmission problem turned out to only be a bad wheel bearing.Mark at Advanced Automotive Specialists confirmed that my drivers side wheel bearing was bad. He offered to work on it that day and have it changed out for about $350 which was $125 less than it cost me for the same job on the other side two weeks prior. Actually the end bill was $323 which I felt was very fair. Changing out wheel bearings is nothing like in the days I used to do it. He called back that afternoon said it was done and driving fine and I was able to pay over the phone and pick up my car after work. Good work and honesty are two traits in this industry I highly value...Ive already referred friends and I definitely know where Ill be bringing my vehicles for future repairs, if needed.

Mark and Marcus are the absolute best. Extremely trustworthy, honest and friendly. Service is best; never have a problem with the work they do and they never do more than necessary to get the job done right. Been going to Mark for 5yrs. It is difficult to find folks like this: honest, competent, and kind. My car broke down while traveling through Sandy Springs. They repaired it expeditiously, expertly, and for a very reasonable price. Mark, the owner, gave me a ride to and from the hotel. If I were living in the Atlanta area, Advanced Automotive Specialist would definitely be my mechanics of choice.

I have been going here for the past several years and they are honest at a fair price. Although I still do a fair amount of work on my cars, I take all my vehicles here now for larger jobs or when I dont have the time. They even passed the savings back to me when they saved money.

Love coming to Advanced Automotive Specialist. I drive roughly a hour and fifteen minutes just to come get my car serviced occasionally. I don’t mind the drive though because all the mechanics near me aren’t honest and love to over charge for simple fixes. Not the case here at Advanced Automotive I’ve been coming here for 5 years and won’t ever try another mechanic. Best mechanics ever! If you want someone who is honest and does the job 100% this is the place. My truck has never been better I had made some modifications to my truck and it caused more problems. Fixed a rattling in the engine compartment of my car that drove me crazy. The guy walked from behind the counter, had me recreate the conditions and pinpointed it in 2 minutes. Free. I also get larger maintenance items done here like fluids and brakes and they’re reasonable and honest. They’re my top choice of mechanic after I get my car inspected by the dealer so I know what to ask these guys to do.

Have been servicing my Nissan here for three years and totally love this place. Fast, convenient, fairly priced and extremely professional. Mark is a real expert and can fix even complex problem. One day my check engine light came on. I wanted to know if I needed to worry about it right away and I stopped by Advanced and they took time out of their schedule to read the code for no charge. A few months later when I was looking for a new mechanic I decided to try them. The took care of me right away, and even provide car service to and from work which is really a plus. The next year, while at the Honda dealers getting my recalled air bag fixed, Honda told me I needed some work. I took my car to the Advanced Auto brothers and they told me I was good - and that although Honda was not technically lying, I did not need any work done. I feel that these guys do a really good job, value customer service and are trustworthy. Oh and their prices are great too. Highly recommend.

Hispanic women normally get their car fixed by Hispanic friends, brothers, cousins but they live all far away from Sandy Springs so when I had an emergency with the water bump, I was nearby and remembered someone at the gym recommended them for being honest and fair priced. She was right. Didnt have to wait for an appointment. I was happy. Two weeks later, a problem with the bearing wheel that I should address like a year ago finally got to the cracking/scary point so they dealt with it. They could trick me adding problems as I know nothing of mechanics but they recommend me to change exactly what my mechanic friend recommend before. That for me is priceless!!! So they won a new client because they are in my neighborhood and a recommendation. Thank you!!!

Ive been to these guys a couple times because they use Napa parts and have good customer service, but after last visit I have lost faith in their ability to fix a car.I bring in my own parts because I can get them cheap from Napa, and I needed a new fuel pump installed into my 1997 Ford Mustang. I give them the fuel pump and get some lunch. I come back and theyre not done. I hang around and at the 2 hour mark they come in and tell me its the wrong fuel pump. My bad. I bought the wrong part. So they charge me $200 for taking apart my fuel system and to put it back together. That sucks, but whatever.Then I notice my fuel gauge not going down from full. They broke my fuel gauge while taking out the pump. I call them. They tell me once I get the right part, they can install it and fix the fuel gauge. No discount. No apology.Recently I also found that I have a fuel leak that leaves a puddle of gas under my car after every time I fill up. Did some research, and found that this is a common result of not installing a fuel pump correctly.In short, I paid them $200 to break my fuel gauge and cause a gas leak. I now take my car to Roswell Outback Automotive, who seem to know much more about cars.
