Great service, communication, and professionalism! We had a nightmare of a day where our car wouldn’t start and AAA cancelled our roadside assistance several times. Once we finally jumped it, they were the only repair shop to agree to run diagnostics on it the same day even though they were incredibly busy. They were able to diagnose an issue but allowed our car to be kept there overnight to observe in the morning. They were very courteous and very clear and coherent in their explanations on the issues, which is hard to come by in mechanics. 10/10 would recommend over other repair shops or even AAA

Would not recommend, seems the person who answers the phones has better sense and sincerity when it come to your vehicle. I found this shop to take advantage of customers by making repairs and then recommending additional major repairs that were never an issue before as well as recommending items that are not needed. For instance, I literally had a cabin filter changed in August and they recommended another cabin filter change in December. Im overt it, its BS! Ask around and get word of mouth recommendations from people you know.

My engine check light came on....i came across Braxton automotive on line...noticed the great reviews...i called..headed over. They examined and checked on my car..took it for a test drive( at first I thought they had done work on it..but Guilford Saunders assured me it was diagnostic and would be filling me in on what they found) he then told me...the problem seems to be secondry to a clog or something to that effect ( uhh yeah..im a nurse not a car guy lol) long story short..the cleaned the part..light never came back on...checked.my car told me the maintenance I needed and didnt charge me!!!...they were working on my car for close to an hour....all i can say is....this kind of business is needed in the world...someone you can trust 100%...when you dont know anything about cars...i am a travel nurse , drive all over the country have been in multiple repair shops and dealerships....these guys are the real deal....i plan on taking my car back for all service, maintenance and anything else I should need.....i hardly write reviews..but i was shocked by the customer service. The customer service that Guilford provided was unmatched by any dealer I’ve ever experienced. I came about an hour before closing and was welcomed with open arms. He was able to check me in quickly and take my information. During my service, I asked many questions regarding their shop and the car industry in general, and Guilford willfully answered all of them. You know how some individuals will respond to you, but it’s clear that they aren’t invested. He was not like that at all. He took time to talk to me and was honest. I greatly appreciated his knowledge, expertise, and integrity surrounding mechanics. Because of this experience, I will for sure be returning to Braxton for further service.

The first place I took my car to quoted me over $1400 for a crazy sounding repair. Took my car over to Braxton, and it ended up being an easy fix. These guys saved me almost $1000, and were super nice. Steve at the front was super helpful. Being a young woman, it’s easy to get the run around from mechanics, but they treated me with respect. Would recommend.

Braxton has a friendly, attentive, knowledgeable staff. They diagnosed a set of major suspension problems on my car, bargained a reasonable quote with me, and completed the repairs in ~24 hrs. I highly recommend them over some other auto shops in town I could name.

Honesty. That’s best word you could use to describe an auto repair shop. Braxton auto is honest and they treat you right. They will not recommend a service that doesn’t need to be done and they will be straightforward with which items are most important to address first. It’s rare to find a place that turns down business by telling you that you don’t actually need certain things done that other bs shops have tried to recommend and in turn, they’ve earned my business.

I spoke with Dan over the phone . Dan seemed to be very concerned about the problem I was having with my car, he recommended me to bring the car in so that they could get a better sense of what is going on with my car, he also recommended that I bring all paperwork and documentation of past repairs.He seemed to be very concerned about really finding out the problem with my car than just making money.Then customer care was great via phone. Looking forward to taking my car in.

9/11/21 - From my experience, Braxton Automotive Asian Car Care Co. demonstrated little concern for my opinion of how I was recently treated. I took my car in for a repair and was refused service because (...I assume...) I had a previous issue with a repair for which they issued a credit I never requested. I believe they felt I was going to ask for a credit for the repair today. I never stated or gave any impression that was my intent. I was more than willing to pay whatever cost would be involved with fixing my car. When I asked Guilford Suanders (front counter employee) to explain further why he would not service my car, he refused to answer. Although it was obvious I was very disappointed, I was respectful and calm at all times. With that being said, I believe Guilford stepped away to call the police a little later. I suspect he did this because I am African-American. Had I been white, I doubt he would have felt threatened and responded in such a manner. I have no desire to ever return to his shop. I did, however, believe the owner (Steve Braxton) would want to know how a customer was poorly treated, so I called him afterwards. I thought he would listen with an open mind and display some empathy. I was wrong. Instead, he used the trope of ...I know race was not involved because Guilford has relationships with black people.... As a black man himself, I was very disappointed to hear this from him. He made it very apparent he believed nothing I said was true. I have been completely honest with everything I have written. As the owner, Mr. Braxton has the power to refuse service to anyone. As a customer, I have the power to hold his company accountable to how I was treated.Had the owner simply sincerely acknowledged how I felt and showed some understanding, I would not have felt the need to leave this review.

They told me the Truth about my vehicle and not only did they fix my car, they explained it to you in depth for you to understand. My Lexus was vandalized and I thought it would never run like it did when I first bought it but I was wrong! Braxton fixed my.car from not running at all and having to be towed there to purring like a kitten. I have been bringin my Prius to Braxton for a couple of years. I had them put on a new set of tires about 6 months ago. I blew a tire on Sunday and brought my car in the following day. They patched my flat and didnt charge me a dime. As usual, I am impressed by their courtesy and fairness. It shows that they are dedicated to keeping their customers happy and coming back.

Starting out at a 4 star review here for the great, friendly customer service. I will come back and update after repairs are complete for that critical side of the experience. I am very hopeful though that they will do a good job based on how theyve handled me as a customer so far!

Its amazing to me that the other reviewers said that these guys are honest. They are nice, they are personable, but they are not honest nor trustworthy. I was selling a car that I did a ton of work on and a prospective buyer wanted to take it there for an inspection. Well these guys came back with so many things wrong with it at the most astronomical prices - parts and repairs that I just had done 2 months prior. I personally think that the previous reviewers were taken in by their niceness and then just believed whatever they told them needed fixing, so somehow they equated that to being honest. Furthermore, what was missing from the list of things that needed fixing was something that I knew needed fixing, so they didnt catch that but somehow many minor things and things that I already fixed made it on their list in catastrophic proportions.

This place has the best prices around for oil changes. Their price is $15-20 cheaper than every other place I have gotten a price quote for a full synthetic oil change. They have great customer service and Stetson made sure all my needs were taken care of. I will be back!

I came in this morning, an the guy said that they couldnt work on my mini van, because of the year. An he said they dont want to be responsible for other problems that might accure. I told him that I am happy to sign a waiver. Stop being scared Braxton Auto, and grow some balls. . . .

Customer service was awesome! I usually get my BMW serviced at their Howell Mill location and heard that they just opened up another location that serviced Japanese vehicles. Luckily i had just bought a Toyota Camry that needed to be serviced and thought id give the new shop a try. My experience was nothing but amazing! I had my vehicle serviced in a timely and professional manner and was informed on future services that would be needed to keep my vehicle in tip top shape! I will definitely continue to bring my vehicle here to get serviced!

Customer service is great. Quality of repairment is awful. After replacement CV axle shaft they forgot to tie a shock to the wheel system. One bolt almost flew out. A little more bumps on the road + highway and you can imagine how it could ends up.

Ive only had oil changes so far, and 2 tires changed once, and the wait time wasnt too bad. I didnt have to drop my car off and uber home and come back, lol. But maybe they just werent too busy that day, so no promises. I like this place, and Ill probably keep coming. Its quiet. No one here to bother you or bug you about buying other stuff, and not over priced, so Im happy at least :p
