Only briefly interacted with John Wharton over the phone but it took all of a minute for him to get rude and belligerent at just someone trying to take a message. I cant imagine what its like to deal with him for extended periods of time. People looking for a realtor or a job, you can do better than Ohio Realty.

Micki Brooks has helped me buy three houses in Nelsonville. She is the hardest working realtor in the business. She is honest and caring. Micki has done so great things for our little city. The entire team at Ohio Reality is amazing. Thank you Micki and Ohio Reality.

Ohio Realty is absolutely the worst real estate company you could imagine renting from. They do not care about their tenants living in a safe environment, and their only concern is how can we get more money from our tenants and how can we cover up our housing violations and issues so we can save our own money. If your considering renting a home for your child who is a student at Ohio University I highly recommend that you rent somewhere else in Athens. Do not rent from this company!!!! Without a doubt zero stars. Google makes you put one.

Terrible!!!! John Wharton is a terrible person! I can not believe he carries a real estate license. It should be revoked immediately. I hired him and his company to manage a property and they did a terrible job. After reviewing the work orders and work done on my property I can only say they are liars and cheats. I am an out of town landlord and he took full advantage of that. Charged me for work that was not preformed and the work they did do was substandard at best. After I put a stop to his company working on my property and hired a different contractor to do the work he walked the tenants that he had signed a lease agreement with through the property in the middle of the construction project and scared them so badly they cancelled the lease. This was in February. The tenants were not supposed to move in until August 1st. He left me high and dry and I was forced to sell the property. Do not have any business dealing with him. If there was an option to have negative stars on his review I would have done that.

They show up unannounced and then proceed to hurl abuse. Im surprised Bryan Wharton is still in a job.

PARENTS AND STUDENTS BEWARE> A recent encounter with John Wharton was a lesson in who you DO NOT want to deal with in Athens for student housing. He is rude, belligerent and quite hostile. A simple question regarding his leasing practices brought on a tirade like no other. He is a condescending and inappropriate and thinks nothing of using intimidation as a way of dealing with the general public. Renters Beware

The apartment was nice and they all had ac units there cheap they worked with me on the secruiety deposit the matience guys was nice but i was on top floor and the neighbor below me was very abusive and a pathlogical lier try to break in and this guy raped me up there and acted like he was going to punch me and then the neighbor belpw me turned the whole hill against me with her lies and such and they never evicted the trouble makers it was so bad with the tenent that i was being attack alking on the way down tophe hill and on the way up the hill

Avoid. The owners are bullies
