Trustworthy place for rent a car or truck what you want. Per day rent of cars varies from place to place also car insurance rate is different in different places. so before renting a car, just check out the prices from nearest different places. It may save huge money of yours!

Been on hold for 20 minutes and they never have the cars; even if you preorder online...... They will never fix this issue. They will only respond and say, we would like to look into this further. I would give a zero if I could. This is the worst rental car place I’ve ever used. We were supposed to be picked up at 9 and called them at 8:30 to make sure everything was okay. Nobody picked up the phone for 30 mins. So, we eventually had to drive to the place and checked if the reservation was made. No information was ready; we had to start the process from the beginning. They didn’t have the car ready and we had to waste our time waiting there for the car to be cleaned. The worst car rental service.

I reserved a rental because we had to travel to New Jersey this week for my uncles funeral. The staff was great and very understanding. I didnt expect anything extravagant but it was beyond what I expected. The agent upgraded my car to a 2018 Chevy Impala my three toddlers and teenager loved the ride and I was comfortable the entire trip. Normally long trips make my lover back hurt and my kidneys work overtime since my diabetes elevates.... not this time. Thank you so much for making this trip a bit less stressful. I will definitely be back for our next trip.

The workers are always very polite and helpful. Every time I have rented it has been smooth and worry free. My rental was always ready and waiting when I arrived and pick up and drop off were fast and complication free. Great place to rent a car. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

The staff was very helpful. I rented a Jeep Renegade that had a push button starter. The keys fell out of my purse after I had started the SUV the day after I rented it. So I was stranded having lost the keys in a public place and the rental office is closed on weekends. I ended up having to rent another car from a different business due to the weekend hours.However, while I was away on vacation, Enterprise had the vehicle towed back to its location and new keys made at no additional cost to me. Thankfully, I paid the extra $1 per day for roadside service (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). I was also given a prompt refund of my money for the days I wasnt able to use the vehicle.Id recommend Enterprise in Athens, but would prefer if they had weekend hours. The business is also difficult to find as it is located inside the Don Wood Toyota dealership without any signage on the outside of the building.

I had a wonderful experience. This was the first time Ive rented a car. My car broke down on a Sunday night and I went to Enterprise the following morning to get a car that I had reserved online. I made a mistake and had reserved it for Tuesday and not Monday, but the agents were super helpful and had me in and out in no time with a car for me and my family.. I had my car for 15 days and absolutely loved the service! The agents were extremely nice and helpful in my time of need!! I think the price is a little steep but overall I give them 4 STARS!Thank you all for the help!!!

Horrible customer service. Reserved a rental from them after being in an accident. I have a confirmation that they would pick us up at the repair shop. They didnt show up. We called them to have very rude service. They told us that they didnt do pick ups then hung up on us. Isnt their slogan Well pick you up?? So we were stuck without a car. Do NOT use this company. I guess I should have read the other reviews of this place before trusting them.

We rented a car to go to Mississippi last July, 2016. We reserved a small car, but when we went to pick it up, they didnt have the car we reserved and so we got a free upgrade. I was very happy with the service, and will probably use it again in the near future.

I needed to rent a vehicle to go to a funeral in Michigan. I wanted a standard size car, but when I arrived, all they had were 2 VANS. I went to pick up the car, and I was supposed to get my AAA discount. They did not apply it. I needed to drop the vehicle off at a different location, and they charged me $100 drop off fee. When I dropped off the vehicle, the place told me Wow, fantastic! We need a van! So I paid them to help them out! Now, Ive been trying to call the local office to get my AAA discount applied, but I can never get anybody to answer the phone. I hold for 10-15 minutes at a time. I finally hang up. Cant say Ill ever be back . . . .

I would give this a 1 star rating because of what a jerk the asst. Manager was to me the entire pick up experience. Was well treated by employee though and he made the experience better. I would not rent again from them if I didnt have to with people like that working there

Went this morning to pick up my car and they claimed them called me the day prior to inform me it would not be ready until 5pm— almost 7 hours later than they promised I would have it. I explained that I received no call and had them double check my number, it was correct. I offered to let them see my call log and I was told that they didn’t care.I promptly called another branch who informed me that they could give me a car right away and come pick me up.ATHENS IS AWFUL!

WORST SERVICE IN HISTORY! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Booked a reservation twice and had been told I had a car no problem and it would be there at the location. First time I got there, they had told me that there wasnt any cars left even though I had made a reservation and had a reservation number. Second time, I once again was able to book a reservation with an agent on the phone, only to have the Athens location tell me they dont have the car. Supposed to be going out of town this weekend, looks like thats not happening.

Hard to find, no signs advertising the place. Its inside a car dealership. Seems to be run by a bunch of teenagers who have had no training in customer service on the phone. I have a car from them right now. The car is free due to the Honda airbag recall and thats the only reason I still have it. The guy told me no smoking or pets, no problem there. Anyway I get in the car and its dirty and stinks of old cigarette smoke! I get it home and try the AC and its broken. I call the guys and the teenage sounding robot fellow tells me no problem theyll swap it out for me. Theyll call me when another one comes in. That was almost a month ago. I wouldnt rent a car off these guys if I had to pay for it.

Booked a car online, told the next day they had no cars!!! Really you have no cars!! What business are you in.... rental cars!!!! Seriously!! Fire the management of the Athens, Ohio store, you can do better!!

The Enterprise RAC office in Athens is staffed by some very courteous and professional men and women. The only reason my review is 4-stars and not 5 is because I had to finish cleaning the interior of the mini-van I rented in June before packing for vacation. There was hair (human? animal?) in every pocket/slot/cup holder and I found candy wrappers, a drink bottle, crumbs, and a magazine. Fortunately, I had the time and means to take care of this problem and Ive never encountered it in previous rentals, but I think the individual responsible for preparing vehicles for rentals should take more care. That said, Ill continue to use Enterprise RAC in the future for all my car rental needs.

Horrible! Incompetent!I was holding a car for my friend from Italy for a day on my credit card. The car was switched to my friends card after he arrived. Now they not only charge my friendss credit card, every month they charge my card as well and it takes them weeks to reverse the charge. I will have to get a new credit card to solve this problem. Utterly incompetent business.My recommendation: do never use that business - the worst I have seen in my life.

Had a very so-so experience renting from here. Felt talked down to throughout the process picking up the car, was hurried through the walk-around process to look for any damages, the car was potentially not well cleaned before I received it because it had a very strong scent of someone’s perfume or cologne (not cleaning products). I’m incredibly sensitive to things like that’s so my whole drive I had a terrible migraine from the smell. The gas mileage was absolutely awful and seemed very low for how new the car was, making me wonder if it needed to be serviced and that’s why the issue occurred. And finally, the staff member did the walk-around process without me when I returned the car and was very rude when they returned to the store, telling me there was was a very large scratch down the side of the car. I was pushed into purchasing the insurance so I didn’t have to pay anything for the damage, but I feel as though if there was such significant damage that they would try to blame me for, I should be shown it. I never was, I was just once again talked down to. After all the stories I’ve heard from friends who have rented from here, I should have known better.

Reserved a car, went to pick it up the day of, and not only did Enterprise not have even a sign to tell us where it was, while we were searching, they called to let us know they didnt have the car that we had already reserved. If I could rank it 0/5 stars I would.

Doesnt even deserve 1 star. Reserved a car over a month. They dont do their job. Call a day before confirmed. Using a debit card. They failed to tell me they needed anything else. Called corporate. They said they called Athens which I heard. said everything was set. I just pick up my car. And the manager lied said he talked to no one. So here I am no car. Having to drive my car down .hope I make it. Would not , recommend this place if my life depended on it. He treated crappy just bc I didnt have a major credit card

Always late, no cars in inventory, rarely get a answer when calling. Customers sit 2 hrs at body shop waiting on a drop off. Kellys body shop calls , and calls and enterprise answers when 5 min away.

Rented on Friday afternoon (closed on weekend). Saturday morning started 220 mile trip at 4 a.m. Hazard light comes on - low air pressure in rear tire. Be sure to ask the agent if they have checked air pressure in tires. This is the second time I have rented a car and had this happen to me.

I tried to contact the Enterprise desk at Don Wood, and cannot get through after calling many times today and waiting on hold. I even left a message with the Toyota service desk, located across the room from them. They passed my name and number to Enterprise, but I have not heard from them. Not very professional.
