Worst Towing yard Ive ever dealt with! Excessive storage and and towing fees! My battery was also stolen out of my van while in their care and replaced with a dead battery I had to immediately replace because they refused to admit they took it. They over charged me for 10 days my car went even their for and they refused to correct or even acknowledge my complaints and clear proof of discrepancies. They chose to ignore my calls and not return them. And on site they would claim I had to talk to someone that was conveniently not working that day. I over paid by $500 + for a 1110 day tow storage and my property was vandalized. Dont allow your car to be sent to Athens Towing its a severe mistake!

Quoted me $80 on the phone, paid in cash $88 (including a tip) and they took my card number for “mileage”. My car was towed about 1.5 miles from my home. I was charged an additional $51 on my card. $130 to take my car not even 2 miles down the street. Seemed absolutely absurd to me and I’ve never ever had to pay that much for a tow, but transparency on the price would have been helpful. Especially during a pandemic when people are having a hard time paying their bills. Won’t be using this company again.

They were very kind and helpful! They towed my van with a flat for a good price and with great customer service.

I called it wasnt 10 minutes John was knocking on my door.5 minutes later my truck was out and he was on his way. Very Thankful for his service.

Had to unlock me twice the first week of 2021.Dispatched fast, driver was courteous and knew what he was doing.

Driver drove past my car and left twice had to call him multiple times to pick it up taking what should have been 30 minutes Into 4 hours

Broke down and was retrieved within 15 minutes at 11PM on a Tuesday. The driver helped keep me calm and made a great suggestion for where I should have my vehicle delivered that would cost the least and get my car fixed most reliably. Good experience.

Failed to mention they didnt take AAA until the car was towed to the location and dropped off.

Always a pleasure to work with these people. They are AAA approved. they are 98% of the time pretty quick. Good personalities and very very helpful with suggestions. They are to be commended for their service

Absolutely horrible service. Blew a tire. The tow truck guy called before he got there and wanted me to lower the tire from underneath my truck, which didn’t happen. When he got there, I handed him the tools for it and he said they weren’t the right tools. I ensured him it was. He then figured it out(which shouldn’t he have known already) how to assemble the rods. Once he lowered, and put spare on truck. Didn’t say a word. Asked for a copy of receipt and he said I didn’t need it since insurance covered it. He left then as I was driving the part underneath the truck that hold the spare tire was dragging. I called him and he said he figured wherever I get a new tire will put the old on. (REALLY?!?!). I told him I needed him to put it back where it needs to be and he wanted me to do it myself. I told him he was paid to do the tow. He said it would be at least 40 minutes before he could do it. We ended up pulled over and had lunch as we waited. This company and driver deserve ZERO stars, but it won’t let me go that low. Btw, he never checked the air pressure of spare tire and said he didn’t have a gauge. F this place....

This is the best tow service I have ever used. I was at the side of the road with a car that could not move and no one within two hours to call for help. These people were extremely nice, my driver Alex recommended me a great mechanic, and he worked with a smile the entire time. He honestly made the whole experience so much easier. On top of all of that, they do not gouge you with the prices and it was cheaper than I thought it would be. I will use them any time I will ever need a tow.

Wish I could leave a zero star... Charged more than I was told to go RIGHT DOWN THE STREET... From Baymont Inn to Wal-Mart was $95.23!!!! Then, the driver had us STAY IN MY VEHICLE WHILE IT WAS TOWED!!! I have a video for proof! Highly illegal. When I called the man hung up on me. Taking advantage of a single mom with 2 kids and a baby from out of town. I was there for a funeral! Disgusting business practices. Thank God we got there safely!!

This company it SHADY! I used my insurance company was quoted a price and they turned around and charged more!!! They gave no invoice at the time of pick up and took a week to falsify an invoice. Dont ever sign anything with them they will put whatever amount they want!!! I was quoted one amt then when you think you are signing a document to release your car and any charges I was to receive above my insurance coverage not thinking they would pencil in whatever they want well wrong. Taking advantage of a college student is all they did.Karma is a real thing I will make sure everyone knows about this horrible company!

Haning, amd a/k/a Legends, and have found them to be just, upright and most reliable in this town of Athens, Ohio which has been my home since June of 2003 and I am not transient in nature and simply vouch for their services and safety when you are in distress or simply need something legally moved from one area to another and I have some experience within my former chosen profession of attorney at law from Octofber 25, 1982 until 10 January 2001 when a federal judge signed DECISION papers fwarranting my condition to be lifetime permanent disabled but not intimating I would not be a danger to others on the highway, Huddle Tire, Rand B. Haning, and Athens Towing are recomended by me to be honest and reliable.We understand one another for auto servies, in my opinion and I give my word and vouch for their services. Have waited for over an hour for a tow. I would not use them tow. Very slow and very lazy drivers.
