I arrived unannounced and with no appointment in urgent need of an alternator replaced. I had contacted a different place the day before and was told the part had to be ordered. I found the alternator locally and purchased it...only to be told I could not bring my own part. This started my search for someone else to hrlp me. Athens Auto Tire & Wrecking took me in without an appointment and accepted the alternator I purchased from a national chain parts store. I do not have the words to express my deep appreciation for All the people employed there.This business is A Blessing and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE!!!There is no price too high when your only means of transportation is in need of repair...and I was even more pleasantly surprised to find that I owed less than half of what I was prepared to pay.I Thank God For Athens Auto Tire and Wrecking. I will forever patronize this business with confidence and trust.

My husband and I have known Tommy for many, many years. 25 + years to be exact. He is such an incredible human being and he runs a top notch, reputable, reliable business. Before we moved back to Florence 4 years ago-All of My family ALWAYS took our vehicles to his shop for any auto repairs we needed and for tire repairs, as well as all of our tire purchases. I can’t recommend Athens Auto & Tire enough. I just came in spent $30 on a used tire 60 miles down the road not long after I got into Tennessee that tire blew out now Im stuck in Tennessee with a blown out tire and a nail in the other one and Im completely broke. update Tommy is going to pay for for another tire over here in Franklin Tennessee. Tommy is a great shop owner it wasnt his fault. It was one of his worker. The worker also didnt tighten the lug nuts tight enough thank God the tire blew before the tire fell off

I am posting under my husbands account for some reason lol. My name is angel....No matter what is going on with my vehicle these guys have always been there to help and do great work. Tommy is a great guy and has been there to help me since I was 16 and the only trusted mechanic and shop owner I have ever known. They have worked on my vehicles for years and now that my kids are grown and have their own vehicles I send them to him also to take care of my kids. I dont trust many but this is one shop I trust with my life and my babies lives.

I like the people who work there. They are very courteous and easy to get along with. Prices are great too. I would recommend this business to friends and family

Every time that I have had a problem with a tire on a vehicle this is where I have gone. The people here are friendly and very helpful. Everything from used tires to new tires for a very good price. I had been losing air on and off in my back driver tire for the last couple weeks and finally had time to go get it checked out as I was going to just have it replaced. Turns out it was just a screw in my tire that had made its own plug keeping most of the air in. They got me in on the lift, removed the screw and had a fix for it in just under 10 minutes and $8. I definitely recommend going here for any of your tire needs.

Very professional and helpful. We went back a few times to get things out if our car that had been totaled and they were very friendly. They did not treat us like just another person who wrecked a car. They seemed to really care. They are good people

When I get new tires I go to this place to have them put on, great prices, $10 a tire, for balancing and taking the old tire off and putting the new on, so it would be $40 for all 4 tires with them being balancer and put on your vehicle. Very fast service as Well! Love this place highly recommend if you need a cheap place to put on your tires and balance them as well!

Called up there to see if they had my size tire and the lady was really nice at first. I ended up having to call a few times to figure out where they were because one of their trucks was parked in the wrong lot and I got confused. The lady raised her voice at me over the phone but I was in need of a tire so I went anyway. Bought the tire, got it home, and realized they had plugged up a puncture and circled it. Figured they wouldnt have sold it to me if it wasnt drivable so we put it on. Was flat again the next morning after literally sitting in the parking lot. Dont go here.

I was satisfied with the prices and didnt for a minute feel like i was being taken advantage of. I was also given a free inspection to diagnose a problem i was having with my front end. The waiting area wasnt the greatest but the work was worth it.
