Would give 4 stars but I took my son in there with change he collected to buy a Google play card. So he saved his money and gave to them they were put off and made rude comments. Im trying to teach my son about money. Its change its all money if u have a problem with taking it then u shouldnt be running a cash register 💯

Went to Dollar general. Because none of the other stores had butterscotch bits for baking found it here and other great deals. Made me happy 😎😁

My wife and I were at the store today the manager was very helpful and made sure all the carts and the baskets were sanitized.My wife has been to the other 2 stores in Ashtabula and this is by far the most friendliest out of all of them.

All of the Dollar General stores in the area are fairly new. They are all clean and well lit. I find the prices to be good on most things. Perishables are more pricey but that it understandable for a convenience store. I prefer that quick stop to walking acres in the bigger stores and waiting long lines. I like these stores so much better than the Family Dollar stores, sorry, but they just smell when you walk in the door.

Love their new monster drinks with 300 mg of cafeen and the workers are very nice love their assistant manager knew him for years no one questions masks in their like Wal-Mart and other places!

Fast and friendly, had the phone for simple mobile I wanted in stock. Less than $50 cant beat that! They seemed clean and well organized. Busy on a Sunday evening is always a good sign they are doing a good job.

I love this store! It is the one on East Prospect in Ashtabula, Ohio. The employees are always very friendly. The store is clean and well organized. I really like that the refrigerated and freezer items are right up front. I stop in here all the time!

I can get almost everything I need here at a good price very close to home. The only problem I have is they run out of dog food, haha! Friendly staff as well!

Employees are kind and helpful. Store seems a little cramped but there’s nothing that could help that. At least they have what you need 99% of the time.

The employees were cursing to each other and complaining. I thought they were customers at first. I am not a prude, but do I need to hear the F word that many times in 5 minutes? From employees no less?? First time I stopped in at this location. And the last. It was cluttered and messy anyway.

The people are always nice employees help you with anything you need good place to shop

The staff was very attentive and helpful, and I found everything I needed in 15 minutes or less. The parking lot was clean and the shelves were properly stocked. Very nice.

Dirty, unorganized, clutter everywhere, stuck in the aisles, and difficult to maneuver. Rather than pay employees to stock the merchandise from their trucks, they have cashiers trying to do it between customers. The cashiers should stock items near the register, but all across the store is a different matter. At one time I liked shopping Dollar General, but prices arent that great and the convenience of stopping there is no longer convenient.

I visit here all the time when I dont want to go to Walmart! (Which is a lot) sometimes they have better prices then Walmart and shorter lines. My one nitpick is that they food you buy there doesnt last

Love the dollar general store wish They Carried strawberry and kiwi strawberry and watermelon and watermelon Gatorade and Powerade some Dollar Generals do and some Dollar Generals dont. I had my first experience with Dollar General in Ortonville Minnesota when they opened up in 2011 and Ive been very happy with the products in the price and the quality of the stuff at Dollar General. Im a little disappointed with a few of the Dollar Generals in Ashtabula Ohio because they are not caring the Gatorade and Powerade like the other Dollar General stores in Ashtabula Ohio I wish I can find a telephone number where I can find out why some of these Dollar Generals are not caring the Powerade and the Gatorade the liquid like the other Dollar Generals are doing like the one down by Giant Eagle in Ashtabula
