I have gone to McClures several times now for my vehicle troubles. They have been quick and efficient every time, and with a good value too. I have never felt swindled going here, and Dans honesty about what my car needs to continue operating smoothly is always well appreciated.

Im almost reluctant to write a review because I dont want Dan to get so busy that he cant work on my vehicles! This is the only place I will take my 2002 Tundra because I always get excellent service and quality work done. I always feel confident I will be treated fairly and the work will be done promptly and professionally. Dan and Heather are very straight forward about what needs to be taken care of and what maintenance can be deferred a bit if you are short on cash.

Dan has been working on our cars for years...an honest mechanic...imagine that!

This is the place I trust to take care of my baby. They are good people, honest and straight up. Fair - reasonable. They have been my car doctor for 8 years. I wouldnt go anywhere else. My car is a VW Beetle, some systems are complex. Danny is brilliant & figured out how to fix things that were not easy or straight forward, such as a fuse that the dealer had patched between the sunroof and the windshield wipers! I highly recommend this facility.

I had a completely PHENOMENAL experience with McClures. I dropped by with a faulty windshield wiper on my Mazda. They dont typically work on Mazdas, but he dropped what he was doing, took a quick look, and fixed the problem right away. He had me on my way, and the amount charged was extremely reasonable (basically next-to-nothing). I dont usually write on-line reviews, but this is my way of paying it forward, and paying it back, to say thank you! to McClures. Good guys deserve all the support we can give!

Amazing team, these folks are. I brought in a badly abused 02 Subaru WRX needing an engine swap, and despite many unforeseen issues with the car including missing and damaged parts, they came through quickly, and didnt charge for the extra work that my car required because of the condition it was in. Now it runs great, and Ill be bringing it by in a week for another check-up. I cant speak for other brands, but if you drive a Subaru these are the people you want to talk with.

(UPDATE: Diagnosis of car was wrong, it was struts.) The woman who answers the phone sounded dis-interested, monotone, and rude. Should have been my first sign, right?? They looked at my car and didnt tell me the diagnosis, crazy?!, they said they would call me with it?? What, who does that? REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Then they texted me the cost to repair without explaining the issue.If you dont fit their one trick pony service, they arent interested. As another reviewer said they obviously pick and choose their jobs. Lucky for me!

Only mechanic in town that will help me with work on my 1991 toyota pickup with a 1981 22r carbureted engine! Dan did the timing chain for me 3 years ago, an its been going strong to this very day and ive put almost 20k miles on it! I come back to McClures about every 3000 miles or 6 months for oil changes, checking all my other fluids(brake, transmission, clutch ect...), rotating my tires, and anything i cant figure out or do myself!Love this place! Theyve been there since i was a kid in middle school and theyre always super busy! I always go in and talk to them first and schedule a time to drop off whenever they have time for me!

My car broke down on Friday afternoon near Weed and, at my friends suggestion (he uses McClure) , I had the car towed to McClures. In spite of his very busy schedule with many cars needing service, he took the time to help me since I needed to know the problem, repairs, time, and costs. His honest and fast diagnosis allowed me to return to the Bay Area on Tuesday only a day late, mainly because he didnt work on Sunday! His charges were extremely fair.
