Super knowledgeable guide, fascinating history of this really cool city

Ive been to Asheville many times. With COVID I wanted to do something outside and socially distance from others. This was perfect. The guide was funny, he walked away a reasonable pace, and had a plethora of information about the city.

Since other types of tours were not available right now, we decided to try the Downtown Asheville walking tour with some friends visiting from Virginia.The on-line experience was great; the tour leader called us the night before to confirm when and where to meet, she was prompt, equipment all worked for sound devices, and the information shared was both factual and shared in a fun, storytelling way!My husband is from Asheville and said he learned a LOT of the history - I know I did, too! Would highly recommend!

The tour guide Tebbe was very knowledgeable about Asheville & its history. Very interesting! You really get the ‘Asheville Vibe’. Well worth it!

We did the Asheville walking tour in early spring and it was great. Tebbe knew the history of the city and a lot of other fun details. We learned everything we never knew we wanted to know about this incredible city. This would be a great place to start your Asheville experience. I highly recommend.

Excellent tour but 1/2 hour too long -would do it again and ask it kept to 1 1/2 hours maximum. Our tour guide was informative and entertaining! Great way to learn about Asheville!

I enjoyed every minute of the tour and learned so much about Asheville even though I have lived here for 10 years. This is a great tour to start your vacation experience or your living experience if you have moved to the area.

We very much enjoyed our tour with Tebbe and are glad for the experience. This was the first time in Asheville for my friends and me and we knew very little about the citys history, architecture, economics, and arts. Tebbes command of facts and figures is impressive, and we liked the tours pace and his friendly approach. The earphone system was terrific as it amplified Tebbes descriptions and allowed us to look in windows, etc. as we walked--no need to stay glued to the group. It was a hot day but Tebbe took care to maximize shady stops as he pointed out sites of interest. I highly recommend this!
