This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m not one to complain about a slightly rude person or even send back poorly cooked food, but I actually had to get up and leave this place in the middle of my manicure. I literally sat in the parking lot crying while my friends finished their nails. I had an appointment set with one person, and this place was extremely disorganized. I ended up getting sent back a good while after my appointment time with a man. I didn’t get his name, so I’ll just describe him—middle aged, sharp & long finger nails, and super long nose hair. I told him I was going to get a regular manicure and he tried to pressure me into getting gel (I can’t get gel right now for a precautionary medical reason). He’s obviously disgruntled at that, but he started cutting my cuticles and ended up making me bleed. I didn’t say anything because I know this sometimes happens. Someone comes up to him and he figures out I wasn’t supposed to be his client. He then loudly begins to complain (In English) that he doesn’t want me and he doesn’t see why he should have to do my nails when I wasn’t assigned to him. I look at the lady doing another customers nails next to him and she just looks at me apologetically. This continues for a few minutes with him complaining that he doesn’t want to do my manicure. He then switches to his native language and, from what I can tell, continues to complain. He tried to switch hands and I jerked my hand away and tried to stand up. He then saw how upset I was and tried to grab my hand to make me stay. His behavior was unacceptable and this establishment should be embarrassed. I had an appointment for a regular manicure. I showed up before my appointment time and was seen more than 15 minutes after the fact. I hope no one else ever has to feel the way this jerk made me feel.

Ive been going to this nail salon for years!! They do amazing work! Relaxing yet fun environment. Staff are very friendly and super skilled! Peter is my guy! Hes the best! And so is Lily but Im partial to them both! They are all so great!! Go check them out if you need your nails did! You wont be disappointed ♡

Arrived 1:00 today woman standing at counter another walking around signed in asked for full set and Lilly was told Lily was off come back tomorrow after letting them know anyone was fine they debated in there language for an additional 15 min then explained they all had appointments! I went on line to see if they where booked of course they had availability soon showing them this the she explained she is going to get her car inspected and it may take over two hours I then proceed to remind them it is 1pm they have 5 more hours of open time! I finally said thank you and left!

I went for a manicure and pedicure. The place is pretty clean. My biggest issue is the quality of the services. When I picked out my color, it looked more dark pink. When she painted it, it was a weird lilac purple. The biggest problem I had was with the manicure. She didnt even bother to make it even, and go the full length of the nail. It cost $50 too I might add. They made sure to take the payment before actually painting anything on my nails. My friend also got a manicure with no color what-so-ever with a pedicure and they charged her $50 as well. Its way over-priced for poor quality. I would not recommend this place.

My first time here and I loved it! I had the “herbal pedicure” and it was worth every penny. Loved the hot stone massage and lotion they used. I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep! Bill was fun to talk to and very attentive. My feet and toes look great - I will definitely be back!! Thank you Bill and Majestic!

I just had a pedicure with Moon and it was really amazing. I got the Deluxe Pedicure and she spent a long time with the massage and was really gentle with my arthritic feet and ankles. Fast, efficient and they took me straight away as a walk in. Moon was friendly, warm and professional. Really good experience, I recommend and will definitely come back.

Turn on the left side of Chilis Restaurant, into the parking lot of a small mall. This business is about in the middle of the group of businesses.

Had a pedi. The lady was excellent & spoke good English. I would recommend to my friends.

Took my mom, daughter and myself right back for pedicure with no appointment. My nail tech was Van and she did a great job on my toes and my eyebrows being waxed. Have been here before and will come back. It’s best to come on Monday.

Poor service, horrible attitudes, I’ve have never had a worse nail job! My nails came out very different from what I asked and the picture I showed, they were very uneven (slanting to the sides), I had huge globs of polish that could be seen and felt, some of my nails turned upward at the ends, the underneath of my nails were also cover in huge, sharp globs of polish. I will never come here again.

I made a appointment for 4:30PM, and the person I asked for had an opening at that time. When I got there someone had to go outside to get them. When they found out I did not want gel polish they took me to someone else. This person started giving me a manicure, then looked at their phone and saw I wasnt listed on their schedule, stopped doing my nails. I said do I need to go somewhere else. Someone said no and came and finished my manicure except for the polish and someone else did that. That was four different people I came in contact with just to get a manicure.

#1 Great service. They go above and beyond. They offer a wide range of services. They do a lot more than nails. #2 I went back today and got my lashes done. She did an excellent job. She made sure she flushed my eyes so no glue or anything got in them. My lashes are Diva style... Love them. She does natural and other styles as well. Did I mention they give free wine to customers. Now just picture yourself getting a pedicure while sipping free wine. Fabulous 😋✨🍷💅 These pics are with no make up too.

Was there almost 2HOURS!!! for ONLY a full set 1st she told me to come bac I did now waiting for over 30mins after having a appointment then jus 2b sitting there with them being rude af!!! I was n a car accident they KEPT asking me what happened as if my experience wasnt traumatizing enough they want me to talk about it a week later not one but 2!!! Of nails break not even a week later!!! There sorry af and I would NEVER GO AGAIN OR RECOMMENDED THEM TO ANYBODY!!!

I visit this salon fairly regularly and have utilized a few of the services— including pedicures, manicures, as well as having gotten eyelash extensions. I’ve had my nails done probably by every tech in the salon at some point (I have no personal preference because they’ve all been great in my experience) and have always walked out satisfied with the end result.

Debbie is the best nail tech Ive ever had the privilege of doing my nails!! Her ideas are not only creative but beautifully executed! She takes her time to make sure youre happy with the shape, style and design! I will never go to another place everyone is so kind and do great work, but in my opinion Debbie steals the show!

I am staying in a cabin near Bryson City and came in to get a Mani Pedi at Majestic Nail Salon near the Asheville mall. Mr Sam was the gentleman that took care of me. My pedicure was awesome. I get pedicures all the time and this may well be the best one I have ever received. The massage was incredible. I highly recommend this place and I am considering flying in from Miami in a month

I had gone into the salon to get blush marble specifically done! I asked before hand if they could achieve the look. The lady asked a few people in the nail salon and she said they could. All I wanted was gel and acrylic that is all I have ever got. Needless to say Tony the one who done my nails done Solar nails and I didn’t realize until I paid! I knew something was different but I just thought it was pink acrylic powder he used instead of clear. Well we get to the part where marble needs to be done and he couldn’t do it. He brought a bright red to the table and started to do what he thought was a marble look. Keep in mind my color is a dark blush! (Nothing red would match!!!) Well it definitely was not the color I asked for and he did a awful job! We tried multiple times to get a marble look after they told me that could be done! Well I left with plain Jane nails! Cut cuticle!! Nothing like how I wanted and paid more than what I was use to paying! Well I called the manager and she fixed the situation! I came back in a few days later to have my nails redone the way I wanted. I left happy with the result but, my nails started to chip a few days later and cracked along with coming off! I will definitely not return my business here. Very unprofessional. Not good quality!

Waited 1.5 hours to pay $25 and still tip 20% for absolutely abysmal service. Once they told me they were unable to do the design I wanted(after cuticle care and nothing else, not even a base coat) I asked to leave, and was still charged ! Thanks guys!!!

Most of the time I just walk in and usually someone is always available. This time I sat with Tony, he’s funny, considerate and very conscientious of his client.Sam is also great, easy to converse with!I’ve had a sit down with pretty much every employee and can’t quite say who’s my fav.

I love going here. Lisa is my favorite shes awesome never rushes and you can tell she puts her all in doing what the person wants. Shes sweet.. A few ppl up there xan rush and sometimes be rude but usually its a very comfortable place.

I went in, they were busy. Wait was not long...but I told the lady, NOT TO TOUGH the sides of my toes BC I get bad ingrown nails....SHE KEPT doing it. And when I told her AGAIN, she patted my leg an said she it would be OK. WHAT!Now my nails....I havent had them on a week. An they need filled in!?!?!? Why? If we pay this much for them they need to last the full 2 weeks.I am going to try an post pics.They are red, an not been a week an they look AWFUL.

First we’ll start with the good:It was sanitary, the guy who did the first part of my pedicure did a great job and didn’t hurt me at all. He even threw some shiatsu/reflexology in the foot massage. They also got us in really quickly as walk ins and treated my 7 yo really nicely.The bad:They did a subpar job painting my toes. Didn’t even use a topcoat. The polish is lumpy and I don’t expect it to last long. They also charged more than what the website advertised.The bottom line is this is a nice, clean, well-run establishment but I don’t think I’ll be back. If I’m paying $40 for a pedicure I at least want the polish to be on point. Not to mention a kids manicure shouldn’t be $15+.

Vivian is the bomb! This is my new favorite nail salon to go to. All staff works together and they are very friendly, not to mention the place is always clean. I would recommend making an appointment versus walking in, as they are usually busy. I love it here!

I have been going here for about a year and I think their services are well done. However, after phase 2 started, I went back and was not told about the 37.5% price increase for my nails until after the work was done. I totally understand they are a small business that had to close for a couple months and there may be additional costs now, but its only fair to let your customers know about that much of a change in advance.

Had a 9:00 am appointment and for over an hour they took 5 other people in that didn’t even have appointments before me. I just ended up walking out. Really disappointed was looking forward to getting my nails done here.

I came here for a manicure. There was a sign in sheet and the instructions posted at the front desk said to wait in your car and they would call you, so I did. I went inside 20 min later to check and they had passed my name on the list and 4 new people were sitting inside. I tried to explain to 2 separate people that I had been waiting and they told me to put my name on the list and sit down and they would call me. They didn’t understand that I had been waiting. I will never come here again.

Loved loved loved! I recently moved to Asheville so I needed to find a place that’ll give me the quality nails I need! Sam is amazing! He’s friendly and funny and very good at what he does! I highly recommend this place and ask for Sam!

I havent been back since August 2020 when my pedicure left me with an ingrown toenail and a small slice into my toe that required a Drs appt-$200 in bills while the salt rub on my feet & legs was aggressive and uncomfortable- the manicure cut my nails too far down & they still do not grow without breaking short-the technician did NOT speak English (only one person there speaks English & they are from different Asian countries-2 told me they are forced to work 10 hrs 7 days a week) & because I did not understand her, she kept me over an hour and charged me $60 instead of the $40 I had expected- I will never go there again & wonder if the employees are here legally-undercutting American businesses & damaging the economy-

Nail Tech need to apply SNS over the entire nail, sides especially. Also, try and shape nails evenly as request, verses lopsided. 2 weeks need fills, not good.

Best in asheville. Not too pushy and knows how to properly do all new nail trends! Tools and spa are always clean.

I have never had such a poor experience at a nail salon. I NEVER leave reviews but this is needed. I made an appointment for my birthday, to which I waited 20+ minutes for service. The lady I got was rude and was clearly having a bad day, which okay, everyone has a bad day. Then I got passed on to THREE people for my manicure. There was an appointment mix-up on their end, which caused clear tension among workers. After being passed off to Peter another woman “finished” my nails. At the end, my cuticles were bleeding, my nails were filed to stubs, I had SNS residue and paint along the tips of my fingers, and to beat it all, I was charged EXTRA for this experience. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a nail salon, as if I was a nuisance to them.I have been to A LOT of nail salons in my lifetime, and I have experienced bad nail techs, but nothing like this. From start to finish it was an all around horrible experience.I gave my review in person for them to try and rectify the situation. The manager kindly took the paint off the top of my fingers and give me a measly $10 gift certificate when I was charged $15 extra. Although I appreciate the effort when she didn’t have to, the $10 certificate for a $100 bill is less than acceptable, and a slap in the face.I will NOT be returning and encourage others to avoid this establishment. Worst experience I have ever had, and on my birthday no less.

I love Debbie but today for the first time I got a manicure and asked for regular polish. The Polish never dried and now my nails are a mess! Regular polish needs to dry layer by layer and it takes time to dry...a lot longer than gel nails. It is not the customers fault technicians dont allow enough time for nails to dryHad I known, I would have opted for gel polish. Steer clear of regular polish...otherwise you are wasting your money!

I made an appointment the day before as I had never been to a salon in the area and thought I’d try them out. I will say, that was the best experience I’d ever received in a nail salon. However, when I went to pay, I was shocked at the price. I do feel like I was told one thing, and then received a different price, but for the outstanding service I received, I’m okay with it.

Went in for an Acrylic manicure. she didn’t trim my cuticles she just slapped the acrylic on. Then when my friend had been there less than a week ago, I liked the color she had gotten, and showed them a photo of the color- they could not get the color my friend had gotten less than a week ago. I asked for a squared shape, slightly rounded and instead ended up with rounded nails when I said this is not what I asked for, she said “sorry best I can do” very disappointed. My friend was with me and she was not pleased with her shape either. At least she got the color she wanted and her cuticles trimmed.

I’ve been going here since i was 15, but recently they’ve been doing worse and worse.most recently i went with my friend to get halloween themed nails done, we had made appointments with tony and vivian.my friend wanted short matte black almond shaped nails, vivian wouldn’t give her matte, and went way longer even though she was asked multiple times to make them shorter, and she argued about the color.my polish has begun peeling and it’s not even been two days.at the beginning of our appointments, nail techs were yelling/loudly arguing about customer poaching. overall the environment was very unprofessional.the only reason i gave two stars instead of one, is our nails were shaped nicely

During the 25 minutes I waited for my appointment that Id made online, I became increasingly uncomfortable with the number of people in the waiting area, many not wearing masks. From my observation, social distancing was not practiced. Multiple people in the pedicure area, and clients (not in the same party) sitting next to each other for manicures. I got up and left. I cant imagine Ill go back.

I got gel nails on my toes over 3 weeks ago and the paint still looks good.

I went there today for a pedicure and manicure. They were clean, had droplet shields between the employee and customer. I did get my brows waxed and wasnt as comfortable with the efforts to protect back there. For toes and fingers, youre good to go. I was there on a July Friday around 10.

My wife and I missed our flight at AVL, and decided to head into Downtown to share the morning while waiting on next flight. My wife found Majestic while searching for somewhere to get a pedicure/manicure.First impressions- very clean, greeted right away and very courteous.Final impressions- Highly recommend this salon. Everyone was very friendly. They did an amazing job! The place looks awesome!We found out this was their first day in their new location. It was very fitting, as this was the first time I have had a pedicure. The staff made me feel welcome and were very nice. The pedicure and leg/foot massage (Deluxe) was amazing!Would definitely return and recommend!

Great experience. I got a pedicure and it was fantastic. Her attention to detail was amazing. And believe me a close up of my feet isnt pretty. The chairs were comfortable and the massage settings were great. It didnt seem to beat you up like others Ive experienced. I will absolutely be back.

Had a wonderful experience. Everyone was super nice and friendly. Typically I dont like speaking to individuals doing my nails because I like to just relax but it was a light conversation and I was still able to relax. Love this salon and will definitely be coming back!

Usually love my experience here. Today I went expecting a relaxing pedicure and there was an employees children playing in the main area as well as an infant who was tired and fussy. I love kids and understand that folks have trouble with child care. Although, I would have preferred to have waited or gone Somewhere else. It was definitely NOT relaxing!😔

My feet look just as bad as they did when I went in, completely calloused and peeling. Just with polish now. And they didnt even have the polish color I wanted. He harassed me to try to upsell me to the deluxe pedi and on gel polish. Then told me I would mess my toes up if I didnt get gel (I didnt). Also they have raised their prices by $10 per service. Im not going back.

Very happy with my visit to Majestic Nail Salon. It is a very clean salon with an attentive staff and tons of pedicure chairs that can accommodate a large party. I received a typical but enjoyable pedicure and a beautiful ombre powder manicure for my wedding.

My friend called this store and asked about pricing on a gel fill in and gel toenail change, was told it would be $50 and up. She said thank you and hung up, then we decided to see if they had an appointment available today. She called back and asked if anyone was available for just the fill in and was told to be there at 5. They did NOT ask for her name but only her phone number, which she gave. We get there about 5-10 minutes early, walk in and there’s 2 ladies standing at the front desk, she says to them she had an appointment at 5.. they ask her who was supposed to be doing it and she can’t remember the name. (It was an unusual name - Shobo or something?) They then ask for her name and she tells them she wasn’t asked for it on the phone, and the two ladies just look at each other like she’s stupid. They then proceed to tell us that she must have called the other Majestic Nails, but we pull up where she called them twice and they confirmed that it was their number. We both understand that mistakes happen but when faced with a mistake on their part they acted like it wasn’t their problem. They both definitely had a horrible attitude and tried to argue with us.. will not be back and would never recommend anyone else to go.

Absolutely love this place! yes, I work here as one of the Receptionist but I was a customer first and foremost and still am. I love the professional atmosphere from the staff. I finally got my first herbal pedicure 2 months ago and peter did an amazing job. Then his wife lisa did my toes, since I have a specific way I want them done. She did an excellent job. Then Debbie does my nails and its always perfect. Love you guys... I will recommend you all to everyone I know.

I love this place! Clean, friendly staff. Best gel manicure and pedicure in town! My friend had all of her bridesmaids nails done here and they were beautifully done! I’ve tried different places around town and nothing compares to Majestic. Also being next to the Mall is super convenient.

You get what you pay for. The salon is clean, spacious. They have high tech nail dryers at the painting station. Instead of old school soaking your cuticles, they put your moisturized nails in plastic bags into a heated hand warmer. Neat! At the final drying station, I could see my manicurist didnt remove the polish off my skin. She apologized and went to clean me up. Upon inspection in my car, my nails arent even after her clipping them. Its subtle for ME to see, but not to others. And I STILL have some Polish on my skin! As I further inspect my manicure I see more tiny flaws. Then again, I paid $20 + tip. Im more a pedicure person; this honestly wa the most memorable mani for the wrong reasons. You get what you pay for.

Booked an appointment through their website, which was a cool feature I was excited for, most nail salons dont have that. However, that was the only thing good that happened. I had an appointment for two pedicures at 2:30 pm. Got there right on time, and then sat their for 25 minutes. A gal came in after us, and she told her it was going to be a wait. We then asked how long, and she said another 25 minutes., and she was far more friendly to the other patron than to us. We made an appointment ahead of time because we were on a timed schedule, and we were not going to wait AN HOUR after our scheduled appointment. We got up and left, and went to another salon that got us right in, was super nice, and far more organized. I will never be returning to this salon.

Today was my first experience at Majestic Nails. I had just enough time before my next work assignment to run in and have a pedicure done. I work outside a lot and my toenails were in dire need of a good pedicure. Not only did Ms Van do a good job of getting them clean and painted, the leg massage was incredible. No longer will I be driving all the way to South Asheville for a pedicure. Majestic Nail will be my go to salon from now on.

I love this place! I’ve been going here for years. My mom even drives up from Athens GA to get her nails done here sometimes because she said she hasn’t found anyone in her area that does them better than Majestic does here in Asheville! Also they have Eyebrow Microblading now! My friend got her eyebrows done by Lily at Majestic and they looks incredible!

100/100 experience. Went in today with never being to a nail salon in the area since I just moved here. Looked at reviews for multiple places. And the made the decision on here. I signed in, and got in within minutes. I showed them the idea I had on my phone and I feel my nails came out better than the photo. I had Lisa as my nail tech and I will be going back for sure. This is my new nail salon choice!

I’m not a regular at getting my nails done, but whenever there is a special occasion I always try to go here (sometimes driving into town from Weaverville). My Aunt goes here regularly and got me on to it. It’s always super clean, they are gentle, and do a super good job. The space is roomy and nice and bright - some of the other places I tried weren’t so spacious. I would highly recommend.

I was disappointed with the experience that my bridal party received. Multiple girls nails were bleeding by the end if the appointment due to their cuticles being cut too far. It did not feel like a personalized experience. They were completing peoples nails within 15 minutes. It felt like every employee was trying to be speedy and not treat the customer. I did not feel pampered or relaxed in any way. The mother of the bride had to have her nails completely redone due to bubbles. I (the bride) had 2 cuticles cut to the core and they burned and bled throughout the appointment. If they werent being so speedy I think we would have all had a better experience. We will not be returning.

We made reservations online for more services and only received a basic pedicure, but it was packed on Christmas Eve and they had lots of walk-ins so we could understand. The receptionist was nice and the service was short n sweet. Rushed but good. Our first trip was at a high volume holiday, so we may try again under better circumstances.
