I went there for the first time tonight. I got the deluxe number three pedicure which is $38 on the paper. I got gel polish for my toes as well. I go to pay and they tell me it is $52!!!! I asked why it was $14 more and they said it was because gel cost $14 extra. They have no signs and did not tell me that before getting gel polish put on. Will not be going back

Always receive the BEST service and results from this salon. Ben, KC, Amber and Mimi (who rarely makes an appearance) are the best nail techs/artists ever! Love this place. 10/10 would recommend.

My daughter (7 years old), friend, and I came in to get pedis. My daughters was $18 and over in less than 10 minutes. I requested the most expensive Pedi ($48) they had that said it came with a free nail design. My Pedi was finished in 20 minutes and no design was offered. Communication was nearly impossible with anyone there. My friend who started before me had her Pedi take longer than mine and she bought the basic one. I get a Pedi every month or give myself one. The photo is of my foot the morning after the Pedi at Shine Nails. They looked worse! You could tell they were trying to rush our services because it was an hour before closing. Far too expensive for subpar services. There is a better nail place around the corner on Zoo Parkway.

Had a good tech when Ben did my nails and was very satisfied. He was gone for an extended time and another tech (never bothered to even tell me her name) did my nails. I do SNS French and in all my years Ive never had any tech put the product on the way she did. Very weird. I came back in two days later and showed manager how bad they looked. I tried several times to call and reschedule after she told me to do that. Well she neglected to tell me they would be closed for their annual holiday. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT. I gave them a 3 only because Ben was a good tech.

I went during my lunch the lady told me she had an appt (3 clients) comming , so I would have to wait. I understood Bc obviously they had an appt! I said I would come back Bc I was on my lunch break, I called and made an appt for after work I go in and I tell them I have an appt , asks me to choose color and they would be w me shortly. I Wait for 10 mins asks me to have a seat on one of the station/chairs while they are working on other ppl then 25 mins have past still no one . I was so upset Bc it is not the 1st time they do something like that and I have to wait. I really don’t like to be a complicated customer and kept giving them another chance but Have been going for a few yrs and Seems like it is always something.This was the last straw, so done not going back.

Open on Sunday, there was no waiting. I had an SNS fill in w a repair. I was in/out in less than 45 mins. Owner who did my nails was very nice, professional and super quick. Will definitely come back. Services were cheaper than expected.

First time ever and will be a regular. I recently moved back to this area after 7 years and wanted to establish a pedi spot so i dont have to drive 30 min to my old spot.. also theyre open Sundays as well 😊 no crowds and the lady (I must get her name) took care of me amazingly.

Someone a few years ago recommended a nail salon for me since I was new to ashboro. && this is my favorite place to go. They are friendly and take the time to make sure your nails and toes look great!

I wish I could give a -5 but anyway. First one in line this morning then a group of ladies show up. They finally open and told me I have to have an appointment which isn’t posted on the door or on their Facebook page and since the ladies are a group they have to go first. One lady in group said two ladies wasn’t showing up I could have their appointment nope owner wasn’t having it. But wanted me to come back in 40 mins with no appointment lol kind of mess is that.

I had a fill in done here and the lady did a great job. There were approximately 4/5 workers doing nails and pedicures that continuously spoke in another language to each other. Sometimes that can feel really rude to the customers. I really dont see why its necessary .

I had an appointment set and they took walk ins and later appointments before me leaving me sitting there for almost an hour without any service.

The lady cut me and my cousins finger and laughed as she was doing them, then rudely said sorry. But when she finished my nails they were uneven and lumpy. She was not very good at what she was doing, and very ruff with my hand. I would not go back. I 100% do not recommend it. If i could put zero i would.

I’ve been to their place countless times. Staff very friendly and try to interact even if they aren’t fluent at English. And occasionally their children come and it’s so fun having them around. Amazing place overall. :)

I love shine nails. I make appointments with Tutu and Casey (the owner) and they have never not done a wonderful job. I have been going for almost 3 years, and still love it to this day! Pedicures by Tina are ALWAYS on point , i am greeted politely and everyone has always been very friendly. Even if there was something i agreed to do - my choice - but was unhappy they take care of that too without any questions.

Basic pedicure was $28. High in my opinion. But the basic came with warm lotion & some sort of wax. Made my feet super soft. But didnt last as long as I expected. Very clean!!

Absolutely my favorite place to go! Kacy is the best! And her staff is very nice! Great nail salon!

This was my first time trying this nail salon. The prices for pedicures are more reasonable VS other salons and the staff was friendly. However, everything went wrong when it was time to check out. The lady told me it was 33 but somehow managed to charge me 66 and I told the lady it wasn’t correct and she saw there was an error as well and called I’m guessing the manager over. I told the manager that the lady quoted me 33 and she replied “no she said 66” mind you, I only had a pedicure and eyebrows done!!! There was no way and the manager didn’t even apologize for basically calling me a liar. Also, my toenail polish didn’t even last a week before it started chipping off. I was hoping to make this nail salon my new go to spot VS driving all the way to Greensboro but I definitely won’t be back!!

This morning I came Shine nails for my friends wedding. This visit was probably the first and the last. Got a pedicure and the young lady worked on me blew through every step. She do my pedicures are horrible and dirty. A usual pedicure at the place I normally go lasts around 40 _ 50 minutes just on the legs. She was done in less than 15 minutes for deluxe pedicure. and 2 of my friends also suffered she served in a horrible and sloppy way. The gel in my friends hands was horrible and peeling this afternoon. All three of us have to go to another nails salon to do the wedding again tomorrow. It was terrible for 3 of us to meet her. While my other friends are perfect 😌😌

NEVER AGAIN every time I go it gets worst and worst. My nails always chip. They are always bumpy and crooked. Theyve cut me , I asked for gel nails and she gave me one gel nail and the rest of my nails were just painted with the gel polish. And paid 21 dollars because that one nail was gel. I had to go to a different salon so they could fix it and do it RIGHT. I tried to give them the chances. But every time Ive went Ive just hated it more. I would NOT recommend. Not to mention how they talked trash about me and friend the WHOLE time. Rude as all get out.

Their webpage and front door display states they open at 9 on Mon - Sat... there were several vehicles waiting for them to open Saturday morning. No one came and after 20 minutes waiting; everyone left!! Update your sign and webpage so people do not waste their time waiting for people to show up.

I was so excited to take my mom for a manicure for Mothers Day. Id been to this salon in the past and good experiences. After our trip... with RUDE technicians talking on their cell phones while providing manicure... I can say I will NEVER be back.

I have been here a few times but today was the absolute worst. The nail tech played a video game on his phone the whole time while doing my nails.

Went to nail salon about few days ago. I ask Linda, but Mimi said her no work anymore. She said she doing very well and Linda too bad. But i don’t think so. After 5 minuter Linda come in and I wanted to try something new in Mimi but I noticed she has no-good.Even though she has no-good, I still wanted to give it a try. Well to make a longer story short, my nails were messed up. They were uneven and wasn’t shaped right, my acrylic nor polish was on my entire nail, looks like stairs. I think a place like Shine nails that there are people like Mimi will no longer want to come, no matter how good she is. I don’t come back to shine nails if she is

My first time there.I took my granddaughter we both wanted pedicure and manicure they were in a hurry no one waiting. We had polish all over our toes even the bottom of our toes . Manicure terrible they just wanted to polish the nails. Never again

Usually love everything about this place, but I wasnt satified this go round. I went to get my eye lashes done and they looked great, but the next day half of them had come off while i was sleeping. Felt like it was a waste of money.

They didnt use disposable bags or any kind of disinfect in the foot spas & it seemed like they used old/dirty tools im used to seeing other nail salons take the tools out of the uvlight cleaner, they were also in to big of a hurry for their prices, heard alot of hype about this nail salon, I must have caught them on a bad day, Never Again!

I started going to Shine Nails after the owner moved salons to start her own business (this was years ago). I SWORE by her and her salon for years. I took all my friends to get prom nails done here (mind you, I have graduated college now), I recommended everyone here, have been here more times than I could even count. Anytime I was in town I would only go here...I would wait on getting my nails done until I was coming to Asheboro just so someone at her salon could do them!Over the last two years, the quality has changed. I have been going to shine nails for the last four months since moving back to Asheboro and have had more bad times than good. If I am not waiting 30-45 mins to be seen I am being rushed out the door for other people to be served. I have experienced them trying to rush me so much that I ended up getting cuts on my fingers, I have had them take off WAY TOO much length from my natural nails from talking to other nail techs and not paying attention to my request, they do not check their work after they are done and if you ask them to fix something/try to correct them some nail techs rush you even more and act unhappy to please you! I have taken my sister many times and she has had nails break COMPLETLY in half within 24 hours (just last Sunday to be exact). I have not been wanting to write this review because I have tried time after time just go give them another chance because this ISNT like Shine Nails but last weekend was the last time after I walked out of the salon with my thumbnails two different shapes and lengths...FORTY DOLLARS FOR TWO DIFFERENT LENGTHS OF SNS NAILS (pic for reference) I hope moving forward my beloved nail salon will go back to normal but until a major change happens I will be finding a new salon in town

Ive been a fan of Shine nails for over two years now, they weee good up until this past year when they have been hiring these new people, who should of been getting fired. My nails are bumpy, crooked, the French tip line is not right, TERRIBLE. if I could rate below a one star, Id give it -1. Hurts my heart to say that because I used to love this place but I will be finding a new salon.

Like the other reviews, nail tech too busy talking and texting on phone than doing my nails. Painted OVER my actual nail polish on toe nail and took a group of 3 walk ins that did not have an appointment before me bc their service was going to obviously cost more but told male tech “didn’t know how to do acrylic fill in”. Unfortunately after my friends recommendation to come, I won’t be back. First and last visit. Customer service needs to be more important ....

Im trying to find a great nail place since I moved from NJ. Im still looking, I came across this salon when someone referred it to me. Fist time got a guy doing my manicure this dude treated my hands like he was doing another man manicure, like really this is a ladies hands take it down a notch. Second visited trying to give benefit of the thought I got a lady thats wasnt even told what I wanted. Half way thru I notice a few miss steps, and I ask if she was doing a manicure or polish change. She said polish change. She ask me do u want a manicure I said nevermind. COMMUNICATION people. 😕

Very friendly staff! Tina is terrific on pedicures, Kacy is wonderful, and Ben is a comic! Only place I go......

This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever seen. I think the nail technician spoke maybe 5 words to me the whole time I was sitting in the chair, maybe because he was to busy taking personal calls on his phone. Not just one call I am talking about 3 different calls. My nails was okay, nothing to write home about.
