Went to this gum on Saturday. It was a very pleasant experience. Equipment was clean, the music was not too loud and it was not too crowded. I really could not ask for more.But wait, there is more… they are planning the expansion and will now have the spinning and the pulse room. I really can’t wait for those.

I’m am not one to complain, but I just had the RUDEST lady on the phone today. I have been to this gym 1-2 times in 2016. They put a collections against me in December 2020. I did not JOIN this gym, but they are collecting money from me. The lady wouldn’t even dispute the action with me. She cut me off and said, “You have a good evening, bye” & HUNG UP!!!! I have worked in customer service, and you do not do that. I’m a nice person, and was so sweet on the phone and this lady was just rude and careless. So sad. Not professional AT ALL.

Ride and inconsistent. Horrible, inconsistent customer service. They dont know what they are doing. You could not PAY me to ever be a member there again.

I have been going to CF for a bit over a year. The equipment is well maintained, the place is always very clean, and the staff are friendly and professional - but not overbearing. I recommend it!

A Fitness Manager and Their Fitness Trainers should not have a belly I understand covid19 may not have had the best of diets on people but a person that is training someone should at least set the example of being fit not saying they may not have knowledge on muscle groups but its hard to take someone serious whenever you see others around you way more fit then the person you are paying to get you fit

Kevin and the rest of the weekend team at this location make you feel welcome. The place is always clean. Only negative is the equipment usually needs maintenance. Seems like something is always loose. Still the best option in the area.

I am a college student who was a member at the Arnold location from May 2020-July 2020 because I was only in St. Louis for the summer. I tried cancelling online and was told I’d have to come in to cancel my agreement. I came in that day and had to sign some cancellation forms, to find out that since July I have been charged “Club fees” since I’ve been gone. I called curious and was told my cancellation was never logged, and by the payment company and Club fitness that they didn’t handle refunds? I just want to sort this out.

This once awesome gym has since had a severe drop off. Prior to the shutdown in March 2020, it was amazing. During the reopening they were still doing good. In the months following when they returned to normalcy they since went sharply to a very bad place. Charging full price for a membership they only halfway deliver on. Rampant mismanagement at the local and corporate levels. Simple solutions to the issues they have seem to elude the management here. From the slack in what little employees they do have to the quality of the trainers they employ. They need a stark and immediate change in their corporate and local management out of respect for their members and to take themselves seriously. Beyond disappointed in whats happened to Club Fitness at large.

The woman working the tanning salon counter assumed I was using a tanning oil. I showed her my lotion and said no I use a lotion because I know that oils are bad for the tanning beds. I eventually stopped tanning here all together because every time I tanned while she was working she would still assume I used a tanning oil and was more forceful about how I have to tan with a lotion and not an oil. Giving it more than one star because I love Gary the pilates instructor. Overall pretty good gym terrible tanning workers.

They stole hundreds of dollars from my bank account with charges they never mentioned. They claimed they only charge once a month but they were charging me every week and it was way above the agreed to price. Called to get it fixed and they hung up on me. I reported them to the better buisness Bureau and they retaliated by canceling my membership and charging me 200 bucks for a cancellation. They are criminals.

Used to be a place of iron, guts, and glory. Ever since reopening since the pandemic managers have been overbearing on things that never mattered. No im not talking about masks because they dont even tell members to wear those half the time. Ive been told to be using equipment and not be on my phone while Im in the middle of tracking what im doing between sets. Didnt care if we used liquid chalk now thats not allowed even though we throughly clean the bar after. While also not leaving clouds of dust since ya know its liquid. Just overall mismanagement 1 allowing things while the other doesnt. Only few employees seem like they care about there job others just stand around doing nothing. So yeah this place has gone downhill.

It seems only about 20% of the people in the gym decide to wear masks. Despite the sign about masks on the door most people just walk right in without one and no employees say anything to them. Also every time I use the restroom I seem to be the only one stopping to wash my hands afterward, where many others just walk right out and then touch the drinking fountains and equipment. It’s disgusting regardless of the pandemic.

A solid gym. It’s close to home, comfortable atmosphere. A word of advice for the management, take care of your daycare employees, they watch an insane amount of kids and are all super wonderful. They play really great with my kids and should always be well staffed. Watching children is probably one of the most under appreciated jobs.

Wasnt too busy! Employees very friendly! They are consistently wiping down machines etc. Feel like they are going above and beyond to keep their customers safe from Covid

The overall facility is really great however, I’ve had to cut my workout time back so I can run home and shower before work rather than showering at the gym. The woman’s showers have zero water pressure and it caused me to start getting scalp and skin irritations because the lack of pressure doesn’t wash off the shampoo/conditioner, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix this so I can go back to getting in a good long workout! Thanks

The kids club evening staff is phenomenal! They always play with the kids and make all of them feel welcome! I believe there names are Taylor, Bella, and Allison. The gym however is very crowded at times and at least one machine is broken everyday

Decent gym, the employees responsible for cleaning the gym for the most part have zero work ethic. There are a couple you actually see doing their job. The others hide out in the bathroom.

So far not so good. I was a member for years enjoying the 24 hour access. Recently joined again after a short break and was unpleasantly surprised by my access card not working this morning on my first trip back. So my 4 am trip to the gym this morning was a waste of time.Now I have to find time to make a trip during staffed hours to get this fixed. Not a good way to start, little things like this drive me crazy. They told me to give it 24 hours for my membership to process and I gave it a week to be safe. I’ll update this once everything is fixed.Update:They fixed my card so now I have access. A little disappointed that they haven’t updated any equipment since the last time I was a member. But what they have works and 24 hour access is the main seller for me.

It used to be 5/5 stars.. until lately. First off I have been a loyal member at club fitness for 8 years now at the least. I used to have upgraded tanning which I paid for a whole new membership to have. ($25.00 monthly at that time) and half way through the year they said I had to pay $50.00 a month now even though I was still under contract with the terms of $25. They change things without giving you any heads up or warning Second it seems there is new management now which has caused a lot of issues, machines are not getting fixed, equipment is not staying maintained, and rules are becoming more strict without any heads up. As soon as I’m out of my membership contract I’ll be seeking a new gym to give my hard earned money to. Just another commercial gym taking money when they can. Just to add.. This is more because of corporate than anything. Not the staff at this location.

It is a nice club with good value for your money. I would like to request paper towel dispensers to be installed in the men and womens locker rooms so you can properly dry your hands and face. Those air blowers are awful, inefficient, and not particular hygienic. Thank you

Haha I tried cancelling twice after moving away for college and the first time they didnt send the cancel form, and then charged me for still being a member (even though I was removed as a member from their system). The second time, I came back from college to cancel it in person and the form sent later than when I came in so I still got charged for being a member, even though Ive been out of the system for 2 months at that point.

This was not the gym for me. There is a lot of people and at 7 pm I wasnt able to get ok the machines I wanted to use. It has a bunch of services I just prefer a smaller gym.

Club fitness in Arnold Missouri is by far the best/affordable gym in all of Arnold. No where else in Arnold are you going to get state of the art equipment and 5 star customer service.Ive been going to club fitness in Arnold for almost 5 months now and have meet all of my fitness goals. This is one of the best Club Fitness locations. It is a newer, big, wide open space. It is one of the few places with separate rooms for the machines and the free weights. This is nice because it separates the powerlifters from the exercisers. It has a wide variety of equipment and usually the equipment is open. There are a lot of users in the 5 oclock time frame, but you can still find open equipment.There is a large, separate room for classes and/or exercising. The locker rooms and showers are newer and fairly nice. They also have an area with massage chairs and a TV. There are TVs located throughout the club. So you always have something to watch. Additionally there is a massage area that is out in the open.This Club Fitness location comes close to the quality of LA Fitness franchise. It doesnt have a pool or sauna or baskball gym, but it does have a high quality space and high quality, abundant equipment.Ive never had any interactions with the staff or used the personal trainers so I cant comment on them.

Scammed me...i was a member for years. Then i didnt renew my contract and i cancelled. I seen they were still charging me.... I called was told i had to go in in person to cancel even tho i had moved outta state. I went in twice was told it was done cancelled both times. The lasr time i thought all was ok cause charges stopped. Over a year later now they are trying to sue me turning me over to collections sayin once again i didbt cancel. This should be illegal people need to stand up to them

Terrible gym. Had trainers come up to me telling me I was being too loud. Then two others come up to me on my way out telling me I cant show my friend a few things around the gym or help her with some of the equipment she was unsure about. Mind you I am in no way shape or form being paid for this. So in theory... if I am training with a friend and he shows me a new exercise I have never tried I am violating their rules. Total BS. Nowhere in the entire gym, locker room, website, or front door does it list any of these rules. I literally cant find a single thing anywhere that lists this stuff as prohibited. DO NOT GO HERE. I have this is a second membership to my primary gym at 24 Hour Fitness. I can see why it is so cheap to go here. Total and complete garbage.

Fine gym, but it always seems like something is broken or there is a leak. The gym employees and trainers are all very friendly, but dont expect the same if you want to tan. Tons of treadmills, but almost no stair machines. Overall a fine gym and its right for the price, but it could easily be a lot better.

This location is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! Do NOT JOIN HERE!!! It is so crowded you can never find any equipment without waiting forever. There have been times that I could not even find a parking spot to go into the gym. When I signed up, I was under the impression that there were no contracts affiliated with this plan. In fact, the person signing me up said there was no contract. When I canceled my membership 6 months later, they charged me an early termination fee of $60! When I called to complain they said well you signed the agreement and we sent you a copy of it. I checked through my e-mail and no copy was ever sent to me. I explained that as I was signing the agreement, I asked the salesperson I am not signing my life away on some contract, am I? He laughed and said No, no contracts. So not only did I pay for a shitty gym for 6 months, but I had to pay an additional $60 to cancel without any knowledge that I had signed a contract. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS GYM TO ANYONE!!!!!

Its a pretty new gym. The people there are pretty nice. Its a good gym, especially as a lifestyle gym.

You get more than your pay for here, but it does come with one down side, the amount of people that go here. This place is constantly running and there will always be people working out here. Plan ahead when you would like to go as it does tend to get more crowded throughout the day.

Its cheap, decent selection of equipment, 24 hrs. Unless you come at Noon or Midnight, youll wait for a bench or a set of cables or a rack. They need about twice as much space as they have.Update: I hate this gym more and more every time I show up.

The staff is terrible.Certain girls that work at the front desk are very rude.Dont even try to tan, the girls up front let their friends go first. Plus the wait is always 45 minutes. The manager sits back in the corner and watches YouTube videos and texts. So when the front desk is lined up with people needing something/asking a question, he doesnt notice. Even if he does, he doesnt come up to help.I like to clean my machine when I am finished using it. That seems impossible to do because there are never any bottles or rags to do so. If there are rags to clean, they are brown, smelly and dirty.Also, I completely dislike how they say NO CONTRACTS on billboards or ads on the TV or radio but if you cancel they want to charge $60!

Parking...always enough,You might not get as close as you want but Its a gym(kill two birds with one stone). So I dont mind . Clean ? Not so much...The treadmills were very dusty for days !!! Same with the carpet . the classs should start on time NOT 15 min before.Overall I would say this is not a bad gym. they offer a lot of classes for those who work shifts other than first. :)

Cable machines are almost always broken and rarely get fixed. Also, almost all of the barbells are bent and aren’t replaced. Need to be much more on top of maintenance of the equipment.

Haven’t been to this gym the entire year, because I have been in a different city for college. I kept the account frozen because I was going to return over the summer. Come to find out I’ve been charged over $100 even though I didn’t use the gym all year (I understand the yearly fee but I know it’s not $100), so finally when I decide to cancel I’m told it will be a $60 cancellation fee. I’m not paying almost $200 to a gym I didn’t use all year, what a rip-off. I’m not trashing the staff but I’m definitely trashing corporate for being greedy

Been in gyms for over 20 years... This one is by far the most crowded gym Ive ever belonged to. Dont plan on getting in and getting done with anything quick. If you go to the gym to actually work out, pick a different gym. Very limited equipment for the amount of people that are there. The staff has always been fine, but Id rather pay a little more money and actually be able to use the facility. This place is a zoo at any hour.

Please do not waste your time or money at this gym!! When there is an error made on the gyms part they will NOT fix it! They screwed up our bank account and refused to fix it. Then when we canceled our memberships I was told we would no longer be charged. We were just charged for our canceled membership! They do not care about the members, only the money they can get!

I joined Club Fitness a year and a half ago, so I have been told that after my year long contract I was only going to pay month to month. I paid my annual membership fee in June, and then on July 1st decided to downgrade my membership from the $20/month to the $10/month. The staff said this would be no problem since I was no longer under contract. While signing the paperwork the staff NEVER mentioned anything about being charged twice in July or any other charge.Low and behold, I get two charges from them in July, one for $20 and one for $10. I went in to talk about it. They do any billing at the club (but they sure can charge you), and that Id have to call corporate. Corporate was EXTREMELY rude, and said that I should have read all of that when I signed and that they sent me a copy of it all afterwards.... they didnt. When signing, the guy mentioned NOTHING about being charged, and didnt even turn the screen so I could see what all I was agreeing to.So I told the lady that she could either refund me $10 or I would cancel my membership. She said that she couldnt refund me, but that she could courtesy me the August fee. I said fine, that would work. She then said, But you do know youll have to pay the $30 annual fee again in September since you downgraded in July, right? I JUST PAID THE ANNUAL FEE IN JUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why in the WORLD would I have to pay it again in September when Im not under contract.I said I wanted to cancel my membership then, but she said I had to go to the club or go online to do so. I went to the club, Oh sorry, we cant cancel it here. You have to go online. I cancelled, and I SWEAR to GOD I had better not be charged for cancelling. Worst customer service ever.

Well I will say that I really do like the location its pretty close and convenient. I tried the 3 day free trial vip pass and i mean its nice they offer that but i just dont think i would join here. The workers seem pretty nice but its some of the members that just seem really on the stuck up side. I mean they say its a gym for everybody but i dont think it that is the case. Just my opinion. I was really hoping to like the place because i really need a new gym. I am sick of going to the rec center so idk.

I was referred by a friend for a free trial week. I’ve been a member at the rec center and am looking for something different.Firstly I set up an appointment to go in and once I arrived they seemed to have no idea or record of who I was.... gave me a quick tour. It’s a big gym, lots of equipment and variety... I usually go around 11 and it’s busy but I’m still able to get a workout.They have a smoothie bar which honestly doesn’t seem like it offers much variety or clean options.The childcare is sort of pitiful. It’s in a small room. The carpet is dirty. (Which I mentioned when I got the tour) Every time I’ve seen them, the staff is sitting on the side next to the table not playing or anything—which I get it’s free childcare but I guess I was spoiled by the rec center and they’re awesome childcare. They have you drop off your drivers license and sign in but every time I’ve picked up they’ve put the sign in sheet up and you retrieve your own license so no one is actually checking to confirm you’re the same person.... doesn’t feel super safe.The locker rooms are nice and clean. The showers are great but there’s not anywhere to set your shampoo, bag, or clothes while you shower except the floor.That being said I like the equipment.... and it’s cheaper than where I was going... so I had considered switching for those reasons but I may try some other gyms first.On my last day a song came on.... it was the strangest thing and repeated mother F*er dirty b*tch over and over. I mean I’m not bothered by the occasional curse word in a song but couldn’t believe they were playing it.I dunno. If you don’t need childcare and aren’t bothered by the staff, showers, and occasional inappropriate song then you’ll probably be fine.... I realize how old this makes me sound.

Great price and nice clean facility

Started out at this gym and found the people working there to be pleasant and friendly, however, the equipment was iffy...breaking down and not getting repaired in a decent amount of time. It became difficult to get a consistent workout. My husband and I decided to go to the Lemay Ferry Rd location and we are very happy there. Everything is new and the equipment is amazing. We recently went back to this Arnold location because our gym was closed for the day due to a pipe bursting. Im sorry to say that some of the equipment was still in bad shape. It would greatly benefit Club Fitness members if this location would be redone like the Lemay location. People are always friendly though at this location. Lemay Ferry location not so much.

Made me sign a contract when I was 17, getting $30 pulled out of my account every month and some kind of fees and no way to cancel the contract. This gym just uses you for your money I havnt been to club fitness in about 7 months.

The equipment is always very dirty and dusty. I used to got to the ones in Affton and Hampton and they were kept up a lot better than this one.

Cheap to sign up, the plans are really low priced. The machines are varied, but tend to break down often. There are generally enough that you can bypass the broken one for a working one though.

Dont trust the daycare with your child if there are young people working at the time they are very irresponsible

Place is usually dirty. No toilet paper in restrooms and here right now and no wipes to wipe down equipment near treadmills. Usually full of managers that do nothing but sit behind there desk an talk to each other an surf fb.

I went there for a free 3 day trial because I have another gym membership and wanted to compare. I assume a lot of people just do the 3 days and thats it so I get the impression that they have no interest in you being there for free. Two guys went back and forth about who would give me a tour, the one who did didnt seem to know much. The daycare seems really nice. The cardio equipment has some nice tracking features that my gym doesnt. There are tvs on every machine but most people just listen to music amyway. There is a line of ellipticals that face the wall which was kind of annoying. The cardio is a really jammed pack space. I know they need the amount of machines but a little more open space would be good too. 24 hrs. is good for some people. Not sure if you can bring a free guest every time like some gyms. It seems like a nice overall gym, just voicing all thoughts.
