Been a patient for many years, my dental hygienist is awesome( don’t recall her name) she offers helpful products and gives me suggestions to better care for my teeth. I recently had a crown and the pain level Ed tolerable compared to previous visits. I fear the dentist at times but with great customer service, quality work and positivity I feel better. Also, thank you Lamar for your caring an helpful attitude as you assisted with the procedure. Thank you all!!!

Friendly staff and great service every time. They are patient, take time to answer questions, and very attentive. My family and I have been patients at the South Arlington location for several years and I am very pleased to say that I totally recomend it for your dental needs and orthodontic work.

Great office. Your in and out within an hour. Its also clean. Most important, real administrators. April is real helpful and attentive to customer needs, she provides great customer service!

This Arlington office is the worse!!!!! I received a call(they left a voicemail )on 9/28 to tell me the hygienist has an emergency for my appointment that’s scheduled 10/9 and they need to reschedule, which makes no sense because that’s more than enough time to make other arrangements because emergency means short notice and this appointment is two weeks out…fast forward to 10/1 they call me back and I answer and I’m told they’re no longer open every Saturday so my appointment has to be rescheduled but they don’t have any Saturday appointments until next year. WHY would you wait to a few weeks before an appointment I’ve been waiting 6 months on to then tell me I have to wait 3+ more months?!?! UNACCEPTABLE! The customer service is horrible and this isn’t the first time they’ve called to reschedule my appointment without being considerate of my time. My entire family will be finding a new dental office and I’m sure they don’t care but I definitely will not ever refer anyone to them again.

I am happy with my visit!Highly recommend!! I was seen within 10 minutes of being there. I ended up having work done that I wasn’t planning on due to how much I knew I would be looking at. The receptionist offered payment plan options that worked out great for me. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. Clean atmosphere as well. Check them out for sure🖤

Ideal Dental is amazing!! My son initially started here and I loved the care he received so I decided to switch over to them as well!! I had my first cleaning with them and from start to finish everything was done in a timely manner. The staff were very knowledgeable and thoroughly answered questions I had. The office space was clean and all staff were properly masked. I can’t wait till my next visit!!

Went in for a tooth extraction and cleaning. The staff were very polite and helpful. I was given an overview of every step of the process from payment to the xrays and all the other procedures that followed.I felt comfortable with the dentist and assistants and had a pleasant time throughout the process.I highly recommend Ideal Dental in South Arlington for your dental procedures.

I am one who is always afraid of going to see a dentist. Ive had some really bad experiences in the past. However , I needed to see one because of a cracked tooth. Can I just say Ideal Dental , really put my mind at ease. There was a mix up in my appointment, but it was straightened out within minutes. From the front desk , to the one who did the x-rays , to the Dentist ,and the assistant it was a very pleasant and comfortable visit. I want to say a special thank you, to Stacy, who explained the cost and everything, to Leonard for explaining and making me feel comfortable, and Dr, Rishad Merchant, for being the best dentist ever. He explained everything and made sure I was okay. Overall this is the most caring staff . I can say with assurance my fear of going to the Dentist has lessen. This was the best visit to the dentist that Ive ever had. Had to get a deep clean and a cavity filled. Diane who did my cleaning was so sweet and gentle and Lamar the dental assistant was awesome. Made me sooo comfortable I had no idea of being shot with a needle. Im horrified of the dentist but these guys made it so comfortable..most definitely my new dentist.

I will say facility was clean, I have insurance and get cleanings and stuff covered via insurance. That’s not the problem, problem arose after the X-rays they come out with a bill of two thousand and say my insurance will cover 30% of certain items that’s fine, I understand insurance is like that, then she stated well I can put you in touch with a dental school so you can get a deal. I didn’t want a deal I wanted a cleaning and whatnot. Complete waste of time just to have X-rays taken and feel bad about my own mouth. The tech made me feel self conscious and made me not even want to exit my house anymore, I nearly teared up in the chair. She said yeah blame it on medication, for one don’t comment so rudely to someone. You don’t know their situation. I am better off getting my teeth knocked out in a wreck than having them cleaned at this point, that’s how this encounter made me feel. What a wonderful way to feel or be made to feel I can say. Seems like money grab! I have a breakdown of what my insurance covers and what’s not. But the tech puts a video on the screen in front of you saying your mouth is jacked up and you need corrective braces, I had braces as a child. I am on a fixed income due to Military and this was worse than any type of situation I have ever been in, what a extremely unpleasant experience. They just wanted to bill insurance for no real work done, make the patient feel insecure about themselves and then say here is a discount program. Class act business!!!

He is amazing; compassionate, invested, and honestly listens to each of his patients needs, wants, and concerns. The front desk is absolutely terrible. Every time I’ve gone, I’ve been charged for the wrong thing or I’ve been overcharged. My 5 year old was having really bad pain with her teeth and instead of treating it as a concern, I was told, “I’m sorry to hear that. The next available appointment is _____” which was 3 weeks out at the time. We had to call another staff member to get her in for an emergency appointment 2 days later. They’ve given me inaccurate information countless times. Once Dr. Merchant is made aware of any issues whatsoever, he addresses them. A truly wonderful dentist!!!

I thank God for the Doctor and Nurses that made me feel so welcome and comfortable when I came in to my appointment on today... everyone were very professional concerning their work. This office is amazing! The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and very attentive! The Dr called the next morning to see how I was feeling after the work that he had done. I will be returning for more dental needs. They were definitely a 5 star ⭐️ rating for me!!

Dr. Pan is a wonderful orthodontist who goes above and beyond for his patients. I highly recommend him as a skilled clinician.However, I would advise caution on some of the administrative forms that the office side of this business asks patients to sign. As a lawyer, some of the terms and wording in requested forms are neither necessary nor fair, and go beyond what a professional medical or dental practice should ask — and certainly not require — patients to sign. As we learned in law school, caveat emptor, or “buyer beware!”

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Dr. Merchant is thorough with his exams and explains everything he does. My kids love Ideal, too.

Today was my first time coming here and everything was great I had my tooth pulled and a temporary bridge put in. Everything went well! Going to the Dentist can be a little bit stressful and scary, but not at Ideal Dental. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with kind, friendly faces. Hygienist Diana is amazing!!! She always explains everything before she touches you and she’s gentle. Dr. Merchant is the most understanding Dentist I’ve ever seen and he helps you to feel relaxed. Dr. Merchant and Lamar are a Rock Star Team. I find going to the dentist unpleasant. However, every since I met Dr. Merchant I am willing to go to the dentist with peace and comfort. Dr. Merchant and Lamar have made my root canal and fillings a smooth procedure. I am grateful.

Staff is great, always helpful. Appointments for the most part are very flexible and always start on time.

Went in for an extraction/ implant with Dr. Nelson. Their entire team, especially his assistant Cassandra made me feel at ease about the procedure. Due for a post op next month, but I’m on day two since my implant and I’m in hardly any pain. Will definitely keep this team in mind in the future if I ever need another procedure.

My first appointment with a new dentist and everything went great. Dr. Merchant and his staff were friendly and professional.

My recommendation is -please stay away from Ideal dental South Arlington!!! Save your money and time Front Desk service is horrible, they care less about you! I have never been treated this way in my entire life! Since April 16 the front office is messing up with my claims and lying into my face! They need your money upfront and they refuse to contact your insurances! They told me to buy supplies from Wallgreens for my teeth as it will take 30 days for the front desk to process the claim through the insurance company and its too much work for Jessica and April right now. I needed an urgent treatment since April 16 as my bridge broked, doctors submitted the treatment plan by the end of April to the front office to take care of my matter, and now 3-month later I am founding out that none of my insurances received or had any preapproval plans or claims fully submitted by the front office. Every time I call Jessica and April are playing the game that they are working on it, that they will call me back with results or answers, blaming all issues on insurance companies. 3 months later I am founding out that Jessica and April neglected my claim, that insurances requested assistance from the front office asking for X-Ray, doctors notes, additional paperwork and Ideal Dental never responded and provided necessary documentation. Due to missing information insurances closed the pre-approval. Today I have received a call from April that she is working on my claim and will resubmit paperwork and it will take another 30 days for her to hear something back from Insurance! Please save your time and money, save your teeth and stay away from Ideal dental South of Arlington!

If I can get ahold of HR, I would. The front office ladies are completely disrespectful and rude. They are unprofessional and need to be replaced. I have a few in mind that I could name specifically... the only good thing about this facility is Dr. Pan, the ortho. However, that isn’t enough for me to stay, find a new dentist. This place isn’t worth your money.

I had a pleasant experience at the dentist today. Everyone was friendly and patient. Kellie, the hygenist, was careful as she cleaned my teeth with cold water since they are very sensitive. Last year, I had to change dentist that I had been with for over 10 years because my job insurance changed but I have had positive experiences since I switched. So far, i am glad i picked this dentists office. Yes, I recommend you give them a try.

Been getting the run-around when it comes to dentists for over a year, all of them seemed to only care how to get the most money out of me, but at the end of the day, I would still be in pain with nothing but x-rays to show for it,or a bill for 10k to do everything they said i would need. This dentist office saw me in the morning, and that afternoon he had done what no other dentist could do for the past year. He even called me a day or two after to make sure I was doing well. The best dental office i have ever been to, with some of the most professional, nice, and caring staff, you just dont find too much these days.

I’ve been coming to location here in Arlington off Cooper since 2014. The staff, dental assistants and doctors are always professional. Great place and will continue to come here for all my dental needs.

I went in for the first time about a month ago where they did a series of X-Rays. No charge for that appointment but they suggested that I needed about $700 in work done. When I sent their x-rays to my old dentist for a second opinion he said they werent even good enough x-rays for him to give one. Office staff has also been horrible about communication in terms of relaying things to the doctors and changing things in my estimate of what needed to be done. If I had to come up with some compliment I suppose I would say they have good bedside manner, but I think they are price-gouging to make up for lost revenue during the pandemic.

First, the dentists and the hygienists are great! However, the front office staff are rude and without remorse for their very own incompetence functions. Almost a year later after treatment as I am coming in for a cleaning, I am told that I have a significant balance that needs to be paid. At the time, I did exactly what I was suppose to do...pay my portion at the time of services. I was told my insurance was verified and my insurance would be paying a certain amount as well. I called my insurance company today, who stated, the dentist office never called them for verification.Almost a Year Later...I am being approached about a bill. I have never been called, emailed or text about any issues regarding this bill before. This administrative staff is not competent at all! Please do yourself a favor and verify your own coverage! Do not go by what they are telling you. If my coverage was properly verified, the dentist office would had advised me that my treatment was not covered and I would have to pay for the entire procedure out of pocket.Instead, they dishonestly had me believing that my insurance would cover the costs and all I would have to do is pay my portion(which I did). Now I am left stuck with the entire cost. My problem is, first, you waited almost a whole year to let me know. Secondly, you never properly verified my insurance for the treatment. And third, my options were taken away with your dishonest practices, leaving me to pay the entire bill.I have moved my entire family to another dentist office because of the dishonest practices and unremorseful, unprofessional ladies that work here. Jessica and the front office manager will eventually put this place out of business.

Dr Merchant is who I see. Havent been to the dentist in nearly 20 years. I was expecting those disgusted looks. No drug related teeth issues just 20 years of neglect. That is not what I got. Dr Merchant set out a plan that weve been working towards. The entire staff is very friendly and i feel they go above and beyond to make it a pleasant experience. Lets face it no one looks forward to a dentist trip (Except at 2 am when its hurting and your dying the 3rd time that week and its only Tuesday!) Very professional staff Im glad I chose Ideal. Oh and on a side note they keep the place sanitized temperature checks at the door. Theyre taking precautions to keep everyone safe and healthy during this pandemic.--Ross Clark--

Ive been needing to get my wisdom teeth extracted for a long time now and I had been putting it off for fear of the procedure itself as well as the the complication of getting an oral surgery appointment scheduled. To my surprise, though, Ideal Dental made it extremely easy to get my surgery scheduled, and the oral surgeon that performed my surgery, Dr. Nelson, was absolutely fantastic. Its the day after my surgery and despite having 4 wisdom teeth removed, two of which were impacted, Im feeling pretty freaking awesome and theyre already healing so nicely! Not to mention the staff at this location were incredibly nice, courteous, and patient! Thank you Dr. Nelson and the Ideal Dental team for helping finally rid me of this problem thats been plaguing me for years! Youre all awesome!

My teeth are sparkling beautiful with the help of the idea dental team. I started with them when they were Milestone so it’s been at least 3years great service. They work with your finances to help you meet your treatment needs and That’s one of the things I look for along with great dental services. Amazing staff. I have Veterans benefits and i am choosing to go with Ideal Dental because of their professionalism.

I was disappointed in the treatment plan presentation. I asked if the amount presented was the total and was told yes. When I got my charged slip it was more due to a miscommunication. I was under the impression that the amount presented as total amount was for the crowns , build up and the cleaning.After charge was made it was explained that they were presenting two plans, one for crown work and the other for cleaning. The amount presented was not for everything being done today.

Welcoming, organized, and complied very well with COVID guidelines. I loved this appointment and appreciate all their work!

Dr. Merchant and staff are great. There was no ventilation going and no face shields worn during procedures? A lot of dentist wear mask and face shield.

Never have any problems here when I come for my appointments the staff are all great, professional and friendly from the receptionists in the front and all the techs in the back and the dentist as well, Ive only worked with one so far Mr. Merchant, but him and all the different technicians Ive worked with have been great, very gentle and quick. Treatment plans also are rather affordable especially if you sign up for metro care elite, it will pay for itself your first visit.

I love this place and Dr. Merchant they actually take good care of you and your Dental needs.

Came from my appointment at 9o’clock was told to wait and still haven’t been attended for nearly an hour and yet they’ve attended multiple people already. I keep calling them to ask what the situation is and they keep hanging up on me. After today I’m probably not going to go there for dental work. Very unprofessional of the staff. They know better. Then they wanna talk about technical difficulties, but that still doesn’t excuse the horrible customer service. If you know that I’m outside, the least you could’ve done is come to my car and at least tell me about the technical difficulties instead of letting nine other people go in front of me, so like I said before the customer service still liked and I highly doubt I’ll be returning for service.

Couldnt have had a better experience. I was really nervous about the oral surgery and the staff was so patient, kind and gentle. They were also very thorough in explaining everything I needed to know about after care. I definitely chose the right place!

Today at Ideal Dental on Cooper St., South Arlington, I had possibly the best dental hygienist I have ever been treated by! Her name was Kelly, and she not only cleaned my teeth with extreme care and meticulous effort, but continued to speak to me in a gentle, non-annoying way, to get to the bottom of any problems!! She was really the best, I can tell you, it is not an easy thing to do! Considering I have a pretty bad situation with my teeth, requiring periodontal maintenance cleanings, she never once caused me feel judgement or even pain, and found the way to reveal to me precisely how and where I need improvement. The Dentist here, Dr. Voissem is also top-rate, and examined me, though I didnt get treatment today, he made me good recommendation of the next steps. Highly recommend Ideal Dental of South Arlington, TX!

They treat you well, are knowledgeable, and great dentists. The big draw back is they have a large practice and bounce back and forth between a ton of patients, which makes it slow. Definitely appreciate their personal touch of reaching out to check on me today after an extraction yesterday that left me in crippling pain.

The back staff and doctors are great. The front staff irritates me every time we go. They told me the insurance didnt have them as the dental provider and they made me pay a copay which I told them I dont have. THEY NEVER GIVE A CARD FOR THE NEXT APPOINTMENT!!!! I called our insurance and they had Ideal Dental on file as the Dental provider AND of course I DONT have a copay. After speaking with the insurance company I called Ideal Dental. I left a message with the person who answered the phone and I am still waiting for a return call. That was several days ago!

Everything was great! Had a lil wait but nothing crazy!
