I’ve been coming to this nail salon for over 4 years and I’ve never found better. I’ve tried other places, just out of convenience and have always come back as fast I can! Marrisa pays so much attention to detail and her gel manicures always last several weeks. And she trains everyone to do just as good work! I recommend Palms Nail Bar to everyone!

Save your money! I stumbled upon this nail shop because it had great reviews and I always wanted to try a black nail salon. The pro was that the customer service was great. The receptionist greeted me and placed all my personal items in a tub. The nail tech was really nice and the shop was clean. However, my nails were not up to standard. It seems like this place is more of a beauty college. It seems like the techs are in training. After only two days my nail broke. I paid 36$ for a full set medium with regular polish. I think the nail shop has potential but they need to get some nail techs that really skilled. Now it’s the weekend and I’m stuck with a broken nail. I will never go here again!!

Teera was so sweet and squeezed me in an hour before close which was 7:30, they’re open later than any other salon I know of. I warned her I don’t get pedicures often because I’m really ticklish. She did a great job of making sure I was comfortable and made it as easy on me as possible. I don’t live in Arlington but it I did I’d definitely be a regular of hers.

Edily did my mani & pedi. This was my 1st time at Palms Nail Bar with a online appointment. My experience was nice. I really enjoyed my pedi. Edily was very gentle with my feet & legs. The environment is cute & elegant. The nail salon was clean & product felt of good quality. I think I found my nail salon. I made another appointment this time Im getting a full set & another pedi.

Ridiculous didn’t even ask me the size a nail I wanted I can’t even do a color change after seeing it in the sunlight without being charged extra.

The customer service was good nice and professional everyone wore masks, but only a few desks had plastic shields for extra protection. My only issue was my nails were not prepped.They smoothed out the nail for acrylics and applied the polish which was a pretty color, but there was still dead skin around my nails and cuticles. I had to ask for them to soak my nails, to fix my cuticles and dead skin, because they did not look good (remember this after the acrylics were already applied). Once finished they looked much better, and was told that it was an extra service 🙃. I dont think I should have to ask for my nails to be prepped and it should have been told to me before hand so the initial results would have a greater outcome. The end result of my nails also look like I need a fill, because of taking out the dead skin from my nails.Just a suggestion, it would probably be best for yall to include the prepping of the nails (soaking, taking of the dead skin, filled etc) in the nail service, because some people, like me, would assume, it would come with it.

Let me start by saying I came here solely to support a black owned business. I drove 45 minutes from where I live to do so. I booked an appointment online and made sure to select everything I wanted. My nail tech stopped doing my nails because her next appointment had arrived and had another nail tech finish the job which personally rubbed me the wrong way. The second nail tech did subpar nail art compared to what I requested. I wasn’t too upset about that until I got home 45 minutes away and saw she only put a top coat on 3 out of 10 nails. I came back today because of course other shops aren’t going to want to fix someone else’s work and they charged me for the nail repair. Why was I charged to fix a job that wasn’t complete in the first place?

I didnt receive the discount for mani/pedi combo even after asking. Was told it was on the bill but wasnt. They charge for everything, even things other places include and they dont cut cuticles on the mani so waste of my time. There were 3 of us and only one received what i consider worthy for a return visit. I personally wont be coming back. They were all super nice but the price for what we received wasnt worth it.

I wanted to go to Culture Nail Bar for my fill but they didnt have anything available and I had a nail emergency. Google was able to help me find Palms as a suggestion / substitute. Luckily they had an appointment available for the same day. My nail tech, Edily, was able to see the mistakes my previous nail tech from Culture made. She was able to make things right as rain and I set up another appointment for the next couple of weeks for a fill. My Edily was fun, extremely helpful, kind and careful to make sure my nails looked good and felt comfortable. Im actually excited about my next appt and cant wait to see what Edily will come up with (since I no longer have a choice lol! I love her so much)

Wonderful experience. I was taken care of with care, by wonderful goddesses. I will definitely return. Amazing customer servicd, bright room, cozy atmosphere. Would highly recommend these beautiful women.

This place is amazing! I felt very safe with everything going on with COVID. My nails looked great and the polish lasted longer than any place I’ve been before. There was a huge selection of colors as well. I will definitely be back!!

I had my nails done and after a few days one started to lift. I went back and Marissa redid them all. She was super nice and did an amazing job!!!

I really enjoyed my services (Fill and Pedi). Marrisa was gentle and attentive and I was very impressed with her professionalism. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing music was definitely a vibe. Black-owned so Ill definitely be back.

I drove clear across Arlington to get the discount for a walk in Wednesday, And 1st of all this place is about the size of my bathroom. 2nd, there was 2 people there not doing anything but the receptionist told me I had to come back in about an hour and 1/2. Have no idea how it got so many good reviews but I am not impressed at all and will not come back

I went to this nail salon less than a week ago and a gel manicure and the gel was chipping already. I called the salon and told them and they said you can come and get them fixed. I drove over 40 minutes to this salon to get them fixed. I come in and the owner looks at them and says it’s regular wear and tear but do you want to get them fixed? Of course I do, that’s what I called for right? They do my nails and when I go the counter to leave a tip, they tell me it’s $33. Not once did they say we can fix it but you’ll have to pay. The owner didn’t say a word, when I asked why? Better yet they should’ve said when I called that I could come and let the owner see if they’re going to fix it then have drive 40 minutes to just see if they going to fix it. As a black business owner, I seeked to support my sisters because I don’t even live in Texas to treat myself to a mani/pedi only to be disappointed on how they resolve a customer complaint. But I am greatly disappointed in the way I was treated this evening.

Great place to come for dip and acrylic nails, these are the services I’ve done. The owner is super sweet and the place is a nice quaint area, well lit and clean. Bookings can be done online and prices are also accurate to the online booking prices.Got my dip nails with extensions with Courtney and the details and work she put in them were very good. No bumpiness and detailed work. They use quality products and are customer oriented. Will def be back and recommended for sure.

The atmosphere was nice. I loved my pedicure and the staff was kind to my child. This is the only reason why I am giving 2 stars. The lady who did my acrylic nails did a sub par job. I asked for oval shape and was told that I could not get it because my nails were too short so I had to settle for coffin. I also asked for nail art when I was in the chair and was told that she had something else to do. It was late in the day and I was a walk in so I let it go. My nails were shaped poorly and one was shorter than the other. I didn’t notice it at the time but I noticed it the next day. My child became fussy and I had to go that’s why I didn’t notice at the time. I know there’s a 24 hour policy on nails. I called to report my issues with my nails and was told that I couldn’t come in because they didn’t have time to fix my nails. The receptionist claimed they were completely booked and that I should’ve spoke up at the time of service. I understand that it is a small shop, but she should’ve attempted to do better to make it right. Within a few days my nails were in need of a fill, and today it hasn’t even been 2 weeks since my last appointment and all my nails were loose except for 3 of them. This is the worst quality acrylic nails that I have ever received. I drove all the way from Lewisville to check this place out because it was highly recommended by a friend. I spent over $70 and am very upset about my experience. I don’t know if she was just a bad nail tech or having a bad day. I will never go back again. I am so disappointed.

They do amazing work and I love the salon, however I paid about $60 for a full set with gel, and I’ve been to other places that do just as amazing of a job for only $30.

This is a great place to go to keep your nails healthy and know that it is being done correctly and by the book with no shortcuts or compromises to your health/health of your nails. I am confident that I could stop the dip powder at anytime and switch to gel or even regular polish and my nails will be just fine. The pedicures are also really simple but thorough, with the focus on your nails. It is an actual manicure for your feet, unlike most places.Staff are also friendly and Ive never had any problems with my appointments, so far as wait time.The only negative is their inconsistency with discounts. I have recommended them to friends and co-workers, and two have gone and had problems with receiving discounts. I have also experienced this with the 15% re-book discount not always being honored/applied.So even though I like them, Im never sure what the price is going to be because Im never sure if Ill actually get the discount, so I can no longer in good conscience recommend them to anyone because I dont want anyone coming back to me with their bad experience after I encouraged them to go.I dont expect anyone to have my high tolerance or patience levels; though of course even I have my limits.

I have not had many pedicures, probably 4 or 5. This one was, by far, the best ever. Lots of attention to detail. Great result.

Best pedicure I’ve ever had! And I am extremely picky with getting my nails done. I’m from out of town, and it made me very anxious to walk into a new place but my nails were way overdue. However, they were able to accommodate me under 5 minutes as a walk-in! Marrisa was super nice and gave a very thorough pedicure. Highly recommend and will be back the next time I’m in town!

I was completely blown away. From the website, to the appointment set up, to the wait time, to the work done, all the way to the customer service. I have never had a better nail experience. I dont think I will go anywhere else. My nails look perfect -- right out of a dream. Shade is amazing. She is professional, personable, and a perfectionist. Her work is QUALITY. Ive never seen anything like it. Her attention to detail is unmatched. I am in awe.

This place is a refreshing difference from competitors. Its small and personable without language barriers. I like the diversity of this salon. Marissa did my fullset. I specifically wanted them short and square because of my job, and I feel like I got what I wanted. Marissa couldnt paint them though, the young lady who did (I forgot her name) was super sweet and super engaging, I appreciated her customer service. Courtney did a neat job on my pedicure. She was patient and took her time. I walked out satisfied. Ill give this place another go.

To sum it up quickly, I had an appointment at 5:30 with Marissa who decided to go to the supply store on Friday night during rush hour and my appointment (Really)? Someone else filled in and Im thankful for her. The owner Marissa returned about 7:45 and didnt apologize or even come out to say anything. I will NEVER go back. Learn to prioritize and respect your clients! Signed underwhelmed and over agitated.

I hate writing bad reviews for any business, no matter how horrible the service was. I run a small business myself, so I know how hard and important its to build a good review rating! HOWEVER, this experience was beyond anything Ive ever experienced.Life is extremely busy for everyone. I called and was informed they take walk ins. I got off work early so I can get a pedicure in before picking up my kids from daycare. I arrive to Palms Nail Bar at 4, they tell me the earliest they have available for a pedicure is at 5:45. I told them thats way too long of a wait and I left. I went picked up my kids from school, called Palms Nail Bar and made an appointment for 6:30 that same day. I finally found a babysitter so I can go to my appointment. I get there at 6:25 and they tell the earliest I can be seen is at 6:50. SO INCONSIDERATE! SO UNPROFESSIONAL! DONT STATE YOU TAKE WALK INS WHEN THAT INVOLVES A TWO HOUR WAIT! AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, DONT GIVE OUT APPOINTMENTS YOU CANT ENSURE. RESPECT PEOPLES TIME. ITS NOT EASY FINDING A BABYSITTER ON A WEEKDAY AFTER 6!!

This is the only place I will go now. I have been to so many other places and left unhappy, but never here. Check them out if you haven’t! You will not regret it!

I’ve been this nail shop about 3 or 4 times. No doubt about it that they do a great job. However , I was never informed that when I booked the service I also needed to book the type of polish I wanted. I’ve always just picked the gel color upon arrival. Once the nail tech was complete I told her I wanted gel in a specific color. She told me she didn’t have time and I need to book the gel service online. So I left with no color on my nails. Then when checking I was supposed to be charged for a $15 fill because I was an exisiting customer, not the $19. So the receptionist took it off and said she would charge me the $15 but she didn’t it was some random price. Very very dissatisfied! I really thought I finally found my “ go to” nail salon.

The customer service was good, but my nails barely lasted and dip nails usually do. It was just a few days after getting my nails done and the entire coat came off of my nail. So I come back in to get it done which was nice of them to redo it. 2 days later, 2 other nails did the exact same thing. Dip nails usually last me for 3 weeks to a month.

I had such an enjoyable experience. I felt relaxed and did not feel any pain. Anyone in the Arlington area must get an appointment with these women. They gave high customer service. I got a pedicure and wine.

Shade was very professional and thorough! Although, I did have to wait a bit (although I scheduled an appointment, circumstances out of her control), my overall experience was amazing! Had to go back to get manicure repainted bc it bubbled. Went back picked another polish still bubbled. So that was a waste of my 64 with a great tip...didnt realize it was bad until I paid and left. Owner was nice ..but wont go back. I also had Courtney.

I’m giving my 5 star review, cause my nails are poppin! Liana was my tech, she took her time and paid very close attention to detail. Atmosphere was very chill, I felt relaxed. I got a stiletto aumbre color powder, was a bit pricey, but felt it was a deserving price to pay for the high quality of nail care that I got. I’ve always had trouble finding that right nail salon that fits my quality of nail care, and I found it! Will definitely be going back! If you’re looking for that high quality nail care, this is the place to go to! I love my glamour nails! Thank you Liana and staff! 💗

I rarely write bad reviews, however, I feel like my experience was not as good as I expected it to be. I paid pretty pricey white acrylic nails with 6 very small rhinestones and splotchy patterns on both my ring fingers. The wait time of my service was great actually. I waited only about 10 mins max with my appointment. The service of my nail tech was average and this is where it went downhill. For the shaping i asked for coffin and she made my nails look like Stilettos so I kindly asked her to remove the first 3 nails she had done and let me soak to take them off. The whole time she was very nice, courteous, and talkative which is great! I specified I did not want thick nails and asked her to please fix them, she gave me a very annoyed look and kept serious and still kept packing acrylic after I said no thick nails. At this point I’m very annoyed, but decided to go with the flow. ONLY The nail designs came out exactly as I expected it to be. Not with the shape because my nails looked like needed serious help in that area. The thickness was too bulky at myNail bed..... When I went to pay she charged me for reshaping because she couldn’t get the coffin shape right??? Charged me for solars when she did not even ask me and went ahead and did it. I’m confused as to what solars is Because I asked for acrylics specifically. Mind that I’m not the type of girl to have nails done and she took more than three Hours. I decided to tip her $7 because of her charisma , NOT the work itself.... it all came out to be $70.

It is always 50/50 here. The very first time my service was great, the second time my nail polish was sooo chunky it had bubbles in it and i reached out to them but never heard back, i even sent them pictures and called but they never paid mind to it. I decided to give it another try and it went okay but had to wait 45 mins after my scheduled appointment. Then the next time i went for dip nails i made an appointment and ended up waiting over 35 mins to get service. I had made an appointment because i went the day before as a walk in and they told me they had no openings. However I do love how they remove my dip nails

I rarely write bad reviews as I am a business owner myself so good reviews are always helpful. I have to share my experience as I was very dissatisfied. It was my first time visiting this place and I specifically told the receptionist it was my first time. The receptionist was very friendly and good customer service I have no complaints about that. My experience with the nail tech lady was not good at all her name was Courtney. Felt like she didnt know much or was new, seemed like she didnt even want to be there barely even said a word. The pedicure was terrible asked her to put a powder tip and she made a face like she didnt know so I nicely said if you cant thats ok you can just put a regular tip she ignored me and did the powder dip I thought ok maybe she knows how. Then I did a powder dip and it was horrible the nails were thick, uneven, wider than my natural nail bed. Then when its time to pay they said my total was $77 I was so upset I feel liked I got robbed the quality of my nails was not worth the amount I paid . I dont mind paying that kind of money for my nails if its good quality. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that the only person who was friendly was the receptionist. Sadly I will never return to this place.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I wish I could give them a 0! I got a full set done here and one nail came off three days later. By the end of the week, all the nails had come off! I had told the girl (Sade I think was her name)while she was doing it that she wasnt putting enough glue but she said she was going to put coats over it. She didnt even cut my nails before doing it. She was sooo sloppy. Im not sure how she got her manicure license. Since I live out of town, I was unable to go in right away so I called owner Marissa who was very unhelpful!!! I dont know what kind of business they are running here. When I even got there, there was only one girl working so I had to wait for the other one to come in (Sade), they come at random times. Anyway, I suggest you take your money somewhere else. This place is terrible. I rarely write reviews but I would hate for someone else to go through what I went through.
