This company is a complete ripoff! They tell you that you have ads with their company and want to charge you three times a month for different things that they cannot prove you signed up for. They tell you they will not contact and someone else always contacts you saying that you still have ads and the prices go into the thousands of dollars. If this company calls you, run. They are scam artists!

This company is a complete scam. They contacted me about advertising my business on a tote bag. I never signed any agreements. They called me 6 month later stating the bags were in production and that I owed them $500 + dollars... I advised them that I had NEVER even received a proof or signed an agreement. 15 minutes after I spoke to the rep, They sent me a proof and it had misspellings.. Per there requirements I would have needed to decline the proof within 48 hours... I declined the proof within 20 minutes. They are contacting me, 3 months later, now stating the totes are printing??? No way. Not only did I NOT sign the agreement but I didnt agree to the proof... RUN. They are scam!

I wish I could give zero starts. Do not fall for their quick talking tactics. They will claim that they are making maps that advertise your business to many local resources, such as your local chamber of commerce. Come to find out, the maps were never distributed to any local locations. Do your homework before spending any money with this business. They also go by the name Hometown Productions.

Really enjoyed my experience with Universal AdCom. What you see is what you get with them. A company doing the best for their customers. I had a large order produced by them and they made sure that every detail was taken care of and was delivered on time, and even early. I will definitely be using these guys again. The order also came out perfect. Thank you guys!

Decent Experience, but refunded. The sales person did not seem pushy and spoke like a usual human. Was up front in offerings. The second person I spoke with in relations who was billing me had some issues in calculating pricing. Ultimately the reviews and not being sure I could take on the expense I chose to refund and cancel. Calling was fast and the process took me only a couple of minutes. Only asked for a reason for refund, obviously, and that was all. Im not convinced this is a bad or good company as of yet. May do some advertising with them in the future.

They call every month or two asking to do the same business that supposedly helps the school. Fooled me once now I have to tell them no all the time. You would think when they ask why you won’t do it again and tell them because of their sales tactics they would take you off the list but not the case. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A WASTE OF MONEY I am sure anyone looking to support a local school or community can do so in much better ways.

I would give them a zero if I could. This company is a rip-off. They completely misrepresent themselves. I had to do an extensive search to find a correct phone number for the company. They a sales person call to ask if you want to want to advertise on local calendar magnets for $720. Calendars lead you to believe 1 year. No, not this company, all of the sudden you owe $533 a month for 4 months. Then it starts over for the next quarter. The best part my FREE product to give to my customers 2 MAGNETS! No, you did not read that wrong, I got 2 whole magnets for $720. The next month they deducted $533.33 without my consent. When I called, they claimed I agreed to it. I did not. I classify them as criminals.

Horrible experience. On two different occasions, I have designed and sent my Ad to be used and had a completely different advertisement printed. Photos for the advertisement they created, and did not approve with me, were pulled from our Facebook page and not ones we would have ever chosen for print production. I have tried to contact to customer service with no success and have forwarded the original e-mails with the correct ad attached. We will not be doing business with them. The cost is also extremely high considering the lack of customer service.UPDATEThree months later and we are still being harassed by this company stating we agreed to another ad. When I told the representative we requested not to be included in any more publications, she insisted that isnt how the program works. Keep in mind, I tried contacting them NUMEROUS times the last time they claimed we owed them money AND the wrong ad copy was used. Nothing was ever done to correct this. The caller told me I would have to be transferred to another department and then she hung up on me. This company is a MAJOR scam. Stay far away.

Scam. I am embarrassed to think how much they have scammed me. I thought I was helping my daughters high school. My ad was to appear on cups, shirts and calendars handed out by the cheerleaders. Person on the line even told me she use to go to school there too. My daughter was one of the cheerleaders and never saw any of my ads or the products, the school said they didnt have anything like that. I called and they claimed they had a signature of someone at the school getting the products. That person has not worked at the school for years. I told them I wanted out, they agreed to one last payment they would even reduce the price. I paid.Months later, get another call saying I owe them for maps to be passed out at the local museum, told them I dont recall that but they had a recording of me agreeing, but that recording was for the previous order.I said one last payment of $500 and I am out. They agreed no one would call me. Get a call a couple weeks later saying I owe $1000 but since I want out they will reduce it to $600. I tell them i can pay later, they agree and say they will send the invoice. Couple of weeks later, I get three invoices totaling $1500 and a call. First thing he says is I want to know if you are ready to view your new ad on the maps I say I am not getting more maps, I know they are recording and trying to at least get me not disagreeing with them. He says that is part of the process but he will drop the price to $500 if I pay today. I asked for $400, he agrees with no hesitation and connects me to the finance department. First thing the person at that department says, Thank you for purchasing your new ad with us today. I respond I am NOT purchasing a new ad. Previous guy gets on the phone right away and tries to explain again and threatens to hang up and bring the price back to $1500. I continue to say this seems like a scam and I cant understand how any business can keep adding $500 every time they call. He gets angry and says never mind, youre done. Ill take you off the list. Then hangs up. I expect another call soon. Dont do business with these people. They add up your bills and give you small cheap samples in the mail to convince you they are legit. I would even be willing to bet the positive reviews you see, are their own people.Update:After being told I was taken off the list and dont owe anything, I got a call a week later saying I owe them, I tell them of the previous conversation I had and now I have had 2 people including a supervisor say I am done and all paid up. They call again only now it is two invoices I have to pay, I tell them the same thing. It just continues. This is a terrible scam. I think the next call i get I am going to ask for a supervisors name and contact information and tell them I am contacting the an attorney.

I am not one to complain but this company is not worth advertising with. I have been fighting with them for over five years they will tell you that you are lock in contracts. This is not true they call you telling you they are different companies that is not true. They record you and will not let you listen to the follow up call to confirm everything. I agreed to some advertising because they told me I was in a contract and I didnt want it to be on my credit. The second call to confirm the man told me I was not in a contract. So I told him I didnt want it he says ok. Guess what I still got charged. When I confronted them they replayed the call of me saying yes but said the call were I told the man confirming that I didnt want this they said never happened. This company has taken about $5000.00 from me. I would not recommend this Co. To anyone.

They actually should get a Negative 5.....BEWARE....BEWARE.......BEWARE This is the biggest scam around. They have 4 subsidiaries and they will blast you with calls, things sent and invoiced without your consent. We initially used their service for maps and magnets. They say they are sending the maps and magnets to local offices. Well I found out later that NO maps or magnets get delivered anywhere except to our office. Basically they deliver 10% of what you actually pay for as advertisement. Any time you order they get a party on the phone to verify that you are actually placing an order. They also require payment immediately on the spot. About 2 months ago I told them to cease with the calls and that I would no longer be ordering anything from any of their 4 companies. Today I received a call about an outstanding invoice which was so fake it was ridiculous. They have never billed in the past but now that I have asked them to no longer call I miraculous am now being billed. Check out the complaints against them with the BBB. Also check out their other shell companies Premier etc.

This company is a scam. Do not do business with them. You will be billed for products you do not receive. Their tactics are very deceiving. They phone and say they are calling on behalf of a local business that needs support and ask to have you sponsor the business, such as a chamber of commerce or something of that nature. We have not received any products and neither has the business they claimed would be receiving the magnets. Beware. Should we actually receive the magnets at some point i will update this review.

SCAM!!!!!!! STAY AWAY! Read the BBB listing for them and do not provide any information to this company. They will be very hard to get in touch with. Do not fall for their games. Do not provide them with your billing information. They lead on to make you believe they are local sales and marketing within your community to help boost whatever school programs or whatever it is they are doing. They already have your address/phone number/email/name if you are listed anywhere on the internet as a business. They will dig up any and all information on you from all resources available to them to get a logo of yours and an idea of what it is that you provide. They have everything they need to fool the eyes! Its not a miracle or a magic trick its just another internet scam. people taking advantage of unsuspecting people to try to get rich quick. Obviously it says that their business must not be doing so well in order to rip people off for their money. Luckily for me I didnt fall for it and saw it coming when they couldnt even pronounce the city correctly. Thats obviously not a local. Keep a lawyer in your back pocket for this one. But, fight back and sue the pants off of them and shut them down. =)

This Company IS A SCAM!!!!!! We were originally contacted by Totes to Go, who called several times a day for weeks. We ended up advertising on some of their Reusable bags (which were very poor quality to say the least... we also only received 2 bags) After a month we realized that they had double charged us and after doing some digging, came to find out that Universal Adcom has quite a few companies under them. It has been 3months+ since I initially contacted them about being double charged and since then after multiple phone calls and speaking to multiple supervisors and getting the run around so many times, we still havent received our money back.... Even though the check has been sent out 3 separate times.....IF your phone rings up Universal Adcom HANG UP!!!!!
