I got my hair done by these amazing women back in August. They do such amazing work and I love going up there! The place is clean and the women are so thorough. My hair can be quite the challenge but they know how to make it look AMAZING. I just recently took my braids but they looked EXCELLENT even without a touch up (wanted to get one but I had to move back home for a bit). I can’t wait until I get back to Arlington so I can get my hair done by them again.

Clean place and pretty fast braiding. Very happy with how my braids look. Posted pictures as well.Edit: just got my hair done yesterday and the braids were very beautiful. I’ll give them that. I thought they were going to loosen up overnight cause that’s what usually happens when I get braids especially cornrows. However, I woke up and the perimeter of my hair/ edges were still too tight and it hurt, so I had to take the front down. I called the owner and SHE said SHE wasn’t coming in today and everyone else was busy; they wouldn’t be able to fix my hair until next week. Who wants to walk around with half their hair done or take down braids the next day that costs $200!?

This was my first visit to this salon. I must say the people here are very, very friendly and affordable. Their establishment was clean and welcoming. My stylist did a beautiful job on my hair. I got my hair cornrow and a wig sewn on. The braids were so neatly done, I didnt want to cover them. I tip my hat to you ladies. You did a great job. Ms. Martine, the owner, is such a sweet lady! She is very friendly and wants to make sure each client is happy and satisfied with their hair. I’ve been here now about three times, once to get my hair did, twice stopping by and getting some laughs after work and third to get my Senegalese touches up. This braiding salon did an amazing job on my individual braids. My hair is really short and I was turned down by one braiding salon on Southeast Greenoaks. They told me my hair was too short and come back in two months to try and get my hair braided. I went to Beauty By Blessed Hands and showed them the length of my hair and the ladies said yes maam we can braid your hair. They were friendly and did an amazing job. Thank you ladies.

This salon has a very pleasant atmosphere. Its well maintained and exceeds the bar of just another braid shop.But, with that said, Im just not satisfied with the construction of my childs crochet braids which are falling out after 6 days.For the price, which is in no way cheap...a customer expects a level of knowledge in the business of hair textures and stresses which cause breakage, and the general techniques that need to be used to prevent such. Most people pay for quality, and rely on the stylist to be knowledgeable, which is why you visit a salon.After calling the shop, I was advised to come back in, which unfortunately this is the second trip back...but I will certainly update this review with an update of how this is resolved...because reviews do matter.

I had an amazing experience at Beauty By Blessed Hands. She is very professional and great at what she does. I have been getting my hair braided by her for 5 years and have referred all of my friends. Her prices are very reasonable for the work that she does. She specializes in braiding as well as sew-ins. Overall she is great and I highly recommend her.

Very disappointed I called twice both Tuesday and Wednesday to confirm my appointment at 8:30am Thursday morning. I got to the shop on time and sat in the parking lot until 8:50am no one ever showed up nor answered the phone or anything. After texting her they finally replied at 9:16am saying”we are here sorry ooohh my phone was silent”. You will never have to worry about a penny of my money getting spent here ever.
