I have been living here for the past two years and it’s the best move I have made so far! The amenities are top quality, the maintenance is superb, Ms. Kiana above all makes it like living in a five star hotel with her endless help with anything and everything at all times, super sweet and polite, always on top of things and never late per any request I ask at any time as well. I know for a fact that Ms. Kiana is probably the best thing in this building just because of how friendly, helpful, professional, and endless other qualities. I truly and completely recommend anyone looking for a place to move to that wants to live in a comfortable, lavish,peaceful, and over all amazing place and friendly neighbors to find a place here at Bell Ridge.

Ms. Kiana served as office management and our tour guide for our visit today. She is very knowledgeable, great personality and it’s a joy to be in her presence. She was extremely accommodating during the visit, answered all questions, and we never felt rushed. I would give Kiana 10 stars if I could but it will only allow me to give 5. Bell at Arlington Ridge is blessed to have her representing the property.

Ive lived in this building for over 3 years. I recently moved from one floor to another floor. Kiana made the process stress-free. She was accommodating and personable. I’ve been living here since 2017 and love it here! I’ve lived in both 1 and 2 bedroom units and have had only positive experiences! They have had some change over with staff over the years but the new staff is very friendly & helpful. The free metro shuttle is a huge plus and convenient for working in the city. Def recommend living here!

The apartments seem nice and theyre located in a good area but our touring experience there was terrible. The lady who was supposed to be giving us the tour almost insisted on us taking a self-guided tour and when we had questions about the room and pricing she told us to check the website. She also kept getting distracted/seemed like she wasnt listening when we were asking questions.It left us feeling a little frustrated and we ended up finding another place.

I’ve noticed they only respond to positive reviews, most of which are fake or written very early before the reviewer even moved in. Check out Yelp for their real reviews; those are harder to manipulate. This is the most poorly managed of the Bell apartments and good luck getting someone to respond. My boyfriend lived here and couldn’t get out soon enough. Maintenance requests just sit, emails are ignored, etc. Hopefully you’re handy enough to fix anything that goes wrong yourself.

A huge thank you for making my moving experience much easier than I could have hoped. Being stationed in Okinawa, JP and trying to find a new home in the area was stressful enough but your staff, especially Melissa, was a tremendous help and worked with me the entire time. Ive been here since 2018. Ive been in the 2 bedroom, loft and 1 bedroom. Ive seen a lot of staff come and go, but the current one is my favorite. Kiana and Melissa are a helpful and expedite any major requests Ive had. Maintenance has been very attentive and resolve issues in a timely manner, so thanks to Behailu. Overall my experience here has been great!

So... multiple issues with complex. Main elevator broken a few times in 6 months. People use it instead of freight elevator. It has issues now, being torn up. Garage door constantly stuck open at all hours, but no towing enforced. Courtesy officers outside during normal working hours ineffective. Slaming doors in hallways during quiet hours, and being loud in hallways before 6am. Miss match wall color when they attempted to paint inside hallways. Office employees do not live on site, are not invested with issues. Any new applicants should verify office employees do not live on site, and why. Not going to renew lease. At this price, anyone should expect more.Nice building, in nice area. Issues outweigh that.

My partner and I have both moved long distance from separate locations to live at this wonderful place. Kiana’s personable approach ensured we had a smooth move as she facilitated a fantastic virtual tour, and walked us through the digital application process. Since moving in two weeks ago, our experience has been nothing short of lovely. Everyone is friendly, courteous, accommodating, and the property’s common facilities and amenities are clean and in great working order. Samantha who works in the office has been amazing and came over from the last company. Their COVID protocol in the gym and office has made me very comfortable and their communication has been clearly and thorough.Carlos and Behailu who are on the maintenance team are super friendly and fast. My AC went out this summer and they were here within minutes of my work order to fix it. Earlier this year I asked to have my carpet cleaned since I have lived here for so long and they had the carpet replaced in the whole unit instead. They continue to go above and beyond my request and given the fact that I am forced to spend so much time here working from home, I am grateful.Like the other reviews, Yes the walls are thing but that is not on the management company but the way the building was built. If you want a comfortable apartment, balcony and friendly staff, this is the building for you.

I was able to obtain my package right away. Can I just simply say how quickly she responded to my needs? I lived in Bell Arlington Ridge for 2 years and I have to say the maintenance and office staff were always friendly and quick to respond to such issues.Khash in specific was always there when I needed anything. Whether it was a question I had or something I needed, he really went above and behind anytime I called him. He always greeted me with a happy smile when I saw him in the hallways.The 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment was a great size especially compared to other apartments in the area. I loved the atmosphere of the community and we had no complaints while living here!

My girlfriend and I loved living here! We looked extensively for a place to live as we were new to the area, and we found the best value with BAR. We lived in two units during our stay and enjoyed both. Units are modern, clean, and most importantly for us, we never saw a single insect or rodent. The staff was very friendly and knew us by name, and quickly handled any issue that came up. We never felt unsafe, and the on-property courtesy officer helped greatly. Being near 395 was also an amazing benefit when driving pretty much anywhere. Best experience with a rental property by far, and I highly recommend!

I was concerned about the parking garage when I first moved in as I was a new resident moving in. I was informed that the garage doors was same hours as the office hours. We looked at this building on a whim while driving down the street. We walked out having signed a lease. The building is very well maintained, in great condition, the facilities and amenities are way above average, but the best part is the staff. The property manager, leasing agents, maintenance crew and especially the concierge are all amazing people to interact with.Weve had more than our fair share of issues during the move and immediately after - Murphys Law definitely took hold. What impressed us the most was how the staff dealt with everything and how quickly they dealt with it. They are responsive, knowledgeable, happy to help and quite frankly pleasant to deal with. If youre looking, call or stop by and ask for Brittney. Ive lived in the DC area for five years and have looked at countless places and interacted with countless leasing agents. Shes the best Ive met.If you live in the building Edgar will help make your life so much easier - hes that helpful.Im normally very critical of most businesses I deal with. I just moved in today on 08/09/2019. Im in a studio appartment and its very modern looking and well renovated. Appliances are very nice and new. The leasing office is extremely nice and respectful and have helped me with questions and concerns since I visited on 07/08/2019. Update; insider news that the management is posting fake 5 star reviews to boost their ratings. Go look at Yelp! I am a current resident here, and I am just sick and tired of living here. The management company has done poorly with keeping the residents here happy with all of these false fire alarms. They charge the premium rate of living in a luxury apartment but can not uphold to those standards. Ill be glad to move out of here when my lease ends.

I no longer live here, but I wanted to write a review because I was surprised it didnt have four stars. 3.8 is pretty good though! I lived here for two years, and had a great experience. The leasing staff was always very friendly, the concierge was always helpful, and the maintenance staff was quick to fix a problem. The property was always well kept up and clean. The only issue I hated, and this has nothing to do with the management, was the damn light right there at 24th Street. It lasts forever, and sometimes would go a couple of cycles before giving me a green. I ran that baby a few times, when it was safe of course. Dont tell anyone. I also didnt like the fact people would park their cars temporarily right outside of the building by the fence to the golf course. Theres a perfectly good places to wait for your little friends that doesnt block the road. But, seriously, the building is great. I moved out of the area, or Id probably still be living there.

Honestly, it has been decent living here. Yes, I had an incidence of a guest car being towed despite paying for parking, but we ended up resolving the issue (though of course its preferable not to have to deal with it in the first place). The interior of the apartments is truly where it shines: nice espresso cabinets, granite counters, large sinks, tall ceilings. It really is beautiful and quite spacious for the area. The gym is also pretty nice (2 levels) and the common lounge areas are nice, though I hardly use them. Some cons: the garage door isnt always working (safety concern), fire alarms go off almost every time a contractor is onsite doing renovations (an extreme annoyance), and some neighbors are extremely inconsiderate (noise, smoking, etc.). All of these issues arent necessarily Twenty400s fault, but it is a fault in the community and should be noted, nonetheless.However, my main gripe is this: one of the reasons I moved here was the dog run, when, in fact, there is NO dog run. Nothing. Not even a space I could see being considered a dog run. I know that sounds silly, but I have quite an active pup and am gone most of the day -- I was hoping to have someplace to let her run freely after work. I am still confused why they leave it in the features list? To top it off, the side yard (where many of the dogs go) is basically a mud pit. I heard some residents discussing that management was going to fence off an area, maybe fix up the mud by placing grass or gravel, using the renovation budget. However, they spent the entire budget on painting, carpet, and lights in the hallways. Honestly, it was an unnecessary renovation, the building looked fine as is and this dog run (considering how many dogs live in this complex) would have been a much needed improvement.All in all, I do enjoy living here well enough, and I would love to give at least 4 stars, but there really should be some more investment into some other features than cosmetics at this point, and I just want that brought to managements attention.

I visited 2400 December of 2014 and after much deliberation I decided to go with 2400 and I moved in February 2, 2015. All I can say is that Heather, Brittney, Ebony and the concierges (Mike and Glenn) are a tremendous team! From my first encounter with Brittney as a potential resident to now, I have been impressed with the consistent professionalism and personable attitudes of this 2400 team. Ive had a couple issues come up and the responsiveness of the maintenance staff was timely and the issue was resolved quickly! The apartment is very spacious and there are enough amenities on site to fit my lifestyle. The area is also very quaint and in very good location to decent restaurants, bars and shopping. I also like to run and 4 Mile Run Road is near by and the perfect running trail. It had been a several years since Ive lived in an apartment and was skeptical about this transition but I have since been put at ease and love it here! And if you are military, like I am, you definitely will want to stop in and find out the perks 2400 offers us as preferred residents! Just mention my name and theyll take care of you...just kidding theyll take care you regardless!

I am very pleased to have chosen Twenty400 for all my living needs. I have done countless hours of research in locating a convenient and budget friendly apartment in the Arlington area. Twenty400, from the moment we walked through the doors, treated us as if we were family and not just another tenant to fill the books. Their facilities/amenities are modern and up to date for all resident’s needs. Living here, makes it really difficult to leave the complex for anything. My family and I lived here in 2016 and loved this place. The moving in process was smooth, the apartment was clean, and neighbors were polite. We mostly dealt with Edgar and a Brittany from the leasing office, both were always friendly and helpful (then again I think all staff at the leasing office are). Maintainance requests went through quickly and weve never really had any complaints while living here. All in all we enjoyed living here and would highly recommend this place to others!

I haven’t even moved in and I’ve already had such a bad experience. For some reason the leasing office refuses to email me or update me on anything. From when I first toured to after I had submitted my application I haven’t received a single email. NOT EVEN TO LET ME KNOW THAT I GOT APPROVED FOR AN APARTMENT. I constantly have to call to ask for updates and to ask for the leasing office to send me emails, yet they still haven’t. I waited on an email to make the payment for my deposit, which I never received, so I called today only to find out that the deposit was already taken from my account. This was done without my knowledge and once again I didn’t even receive a confirmation email or call. I literally have no idea what is going on. I wish I hadnt Already wasted so much money on applying here.

I’ve lived in this complex for 8 months and it was by far one of the worse rental experiences of my life! Management of this property is atrocious! Lack of communication, no following up, repairs/maintenance work was subpar and the customer service from the staff was worse than McDonalds customer service. Nonetheless, there were days where the fire alarm would constantly go off during late hours (11pm). Only to find out that it was an error.I’d suggest you don’t rent here as management doesn’t seem to be going anywhere soon and/or make any changes soonPS. I bought out my lease and moved out. Not enough money in the world could’ve kept me there.

Lived here for 3 years. Great community, but Hilary in the leasing office is not solution-oriented, and is actually quite passive aggressive. I’ve seen her hell residents she “likes”, her others get a “sympathetic answer, but no help or real solutions. They should also work on closing the door when they want to vent about customers. I’ve heard several people, including the maintenance staff ( the African guy) talk negatively about customers. It’s extremely unprofessional.

Terrible experience. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! Id rather be homeless than rent from UDR! I was retaliated against (in the form of a bogus charge for sub-floor damage upon my moving out) for complaining about the leasing office staff violating their own policies. Conveniently, the person I complained about is now the billing manager. One star is generous.

HORRIBE EXPERIENCE! DO NOT LEASE WITH A UDR company! I am a US Army Veteran. I was approved for a unit here & told if I needed to cancel my contract- it was allowed within 72 hours. I signed my lease on a Friday; called & cancelled on Monday (3) days - gave written notice of being accepted for housing on Base; and was notified that if I cancelled the Move-In I would be charged a full 2 months rent. I received a invoice quoting that I was being charged $2893.00 and considered a Skip!!! This is totally unacceptable & unfair! I will be contacting my Attorney, BBB and the Resident Relations Office. I supplied documents (medical and MH) as reasoning for the cancellation; but there was no compassion shown. I NEVER RECEIVED A KEY, NEVER TOOK POSSESSION, NEVER LIVED HERE ONE DAY-BUT BEING CHARGED AND CONSIDERED A DEAD BEAT, OR skip AS A RESULT!!! I WILL BE TALKING TO SOCIAL MEDIA, PUBLIC RELATIONS, AND THE INTERNET AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE UNTIL I AM REFUNDED MY MONIES & IN HOPE THAT NO ONE ELSE IS TREATED THIS WAY. FAIR-HOUSING ACT MY A___! Extremely wonderful experience. Staff has gone above and beyond what any other apartment complex I have been in.-Very very friendly-helpful with baggage-even helpful with tenants moving out despite the current situation*Anytime my roommate and I walk in we are immediately greeted with kind and cheerful attitudes. My roommate and I are not the easiest tenats ;) However any issue or problem we throw their way, Gamze and her staff graciously and quickly come up with a solution that makes us feel comfortable. When we moved into Twenty400 everything was great. They gave us some discounts for being military, as well as didnt charge us a deposit, that they stated wouldnt cause an issue when we moved out of the apartment. After being there for more than 10 months we decided it was time to move. The management had completely changed and the turn over rate for employees was ridiculous. We were constantly asked to come back and never informed when packages arrived. I would email for responses and would never receive an email back in a timely manner. We decided to use the transfer option. We were informed that it would ONLY be $500 to transfer. I emailed the manager to verify that was all that was going to be charged.When I went to pay the $500 after my next paycheck, 14 days after moving out, I couldnt log in. After resetting I saw my balance. I also checked my reservist email and they had sent the bill there. An Email that was never used as a primary on the account. They had always emailed or discussed things via my gmail account. I had emailed them again and explained that this was never discussed and have not heard back. I read the whole email they sent and they also stated that the 1200 had to be paid after 21 days after moving out. However, they sent the email 6 days ago. I am just beyond frustrated. They have not once stuck to their word or even tried to discuss things with us. Between lost mail/packages, elevators not working, and no communication and now this I am beyond disgusted.

What started out as a great experience has swiftly turned sour. We have lived here for 3 months, moved here sight unseen because of my work. Samantha and Britney in the office went above and beyond when we were renting and really convinced us we were moving to the right place after speaking to so many leasing agents across the D.C. area. We have had nothing but issues with udr headquarters! The finance manager doesnt listen to the residents nor their counterparts in the field. I have sent multiple emails regarding liability insurance trying to get that resolved and finally got it handled 3 months in and $30 later. The next issue was with electricity the company udr contracts with randomly decided to charge me nearly $300 for electrical service that had already been paid to the electric company. It required about 6 hours of work to try and solve it, Josh went way beyond in service to handle this. The people at headquarters were worthless and not available. The final straw came yesterday. Amenities have gone down yet rent has remained the same. When we moved in we were told they were a shuttle was going to happen, it took two and a half months but it finally happened. The concierge hours have now been cut, and those of us who work late its impossible to pick up packages. The lame package boxes they have set up, UPS and FedEx utilize to a point and then the rest get locked up in the office or in the package room that is only accessible by office staff. Yesterday we had a weekly home chef delivery that was ruined because of it was delivered to the office and not the package boxes, and the office closed by the time we got home. At this point as soon as we are able were out of here. Rents are atrocious and the headquarters staff are horrible! The only shining light honestly are Samantha and Josh and the rest of the front office and maintenance staff here!

I living here for almost 5 years. Its a great community, great a maintenance and cleaning staff. Every morning the community looks impecable. But I have to say, for the people are saying that the community is not clean simply because some residents with dogs doesnt care and do not clean after their pet; I see that when I walk outside with my kids.The cleaning services staff work so hard to keep the community clean every day. I also experienced the trash room fill of trash all over the place. When you can see the signs telling you where the trash supposed go through the chute; but again some residents doesnt care and they think that the service team have to do it for them. Do not say that the community is not clean when you dont do your part as a Resident like put your trash where suppose to go and clean your dogs poop. Thats so simple.

I had a horrible experience here. The fire alarm constantly goes off in the late night hours, waking everyone up and evacuating at 2AM. The management is very unhelpful and disorganized. Do not rent here!

Twenty400 is a truly wonderful place to live. It is not just a home, but a family and a community. Management looks out for the resident’s best interests and goes above and beyond the call of duty to help people out, from the littlest details to the biggest things that are often an inconvenience at other residences. Folks here truly care and are willing to go the extra mile for their residents.The story of what happened this past Friday morning shows how people at Twenty400 operate and how truly conscientious they are.I accidentally left my parking permit in a rental car while mine was being serviced. Sadly, without a parking permit on my rearview mirror, and in keeping with the property policy, my car was promptly towed. The policy is designed to ensure residents have their reserved parking space. However, despite the best of intentions, finding out that your car was towed definitely increases your stress, especially on a work day.After this discovery, I headed to the main office to track down my vehicle. What happened next was incredible- and shows exactly what type of people run Twenty400. Ms. Gamze Blakey, the Community Director, orchestrated a thoughtful rescue of my car, enabling me to make it to work on time despite MY mistake that lead to the tow.Ms. Brittney Feeney and Ms. Djene Diakite, in the office, were understanding, sympathetic, and immediately went to confirm that my car had gotten towed to a nearby site. Instead of being confrontational (which they had every right to be), they took a very human approach, showing concern for my well-being, kindness, and a degree of understanding I have rarely ever experienced in my life. They realized that I made a human error, and they helped me get my car back!They chose to help me by driving me to the towing company and reimbursing me in full for the tow. They did NOT have to do any of this.The leasing staff knows all their tenants, and greets them by name every day. They are always on top of all requests immediately, whether animal or tenant related. They return calls and requests for maintenance immediately and the maintenance is always handled well.We have had nothing but a phenomenal experience at Twenty400, and it is a credit to the wonderful people who work there.I highly recommend Tweny400 if you want a hassle-free living experience that feels like a family and a community that looks out for your best interests as an everyday matter of course. You can expect to have an excellent experience as a resident.I have lived at Twenthy400 for the past year, and it has been a joy. I especially appreciate the personal touch apparent in every facet of apartment living, from the daily coffee available in the elegant resident lounge, to the convenient notices whenever I have a package to pick up at the concierge desk. All the staff take time to share a cheerful “Hello,” and inquire how residents are doing.The residents are given the greatest consideration, respect, and kindness. It is lovely to discover an establishment that prides itself on running according to the Golden Rule. I am always made to feel welcome, and every member of my family is too.

Floors are paper thin and you can hear every foot step of the person living above you. I have complained numerous times to the leasing office about this with no help. Will not be renewing my lease.

Did not move in and I dont plan on it. Went in to get a tour of the place, but instead we look at pictures on the internet. The girl from North Carolina ( dont remember her name) was very unhelpful....
