I was looking for a vet clinic that had a doctor who specialized in cats. Apple Valley has just that! Dr. Pete was great with both my kitties as were his assistants. An added bonus is that Apple Valley does house calls. For me, thats a great asset of this clinic because, having the vet come to my home will reduce my cats stress. Allow about a two week lead time when making house call appointments so this service is not intended for emergencies.

We have taken our dog Willow here since she was 8 weeks old. We wouldn’t take her anywhere else. After 7+ years it has been a 5 star visit each time we have an appointment.

I dont think I will ever trust my animals to another clinic. Dr Jain and his staff are amazing, they really make you feel like part of the family and they care for your pet as much as you do. Ive always been hesitant to put my dog under sedation even at 12 years of age they made me feel comfortable and trustworthy enough to go ahead and finally do it. she had a great experience in couldnt ask for a better one myself. I just love how friendly and helpful the staff always is and I will be a lifetime client.

Last week our 7 year old dog was going to run for a frisbee and suddenly stopped and yelped and since then she has not bared any weight on her back leg. We gave it a few days then decided to call our vet (Apple Valley, who we have been a client of for 6 years). They explained they are very booked up and could get us in in August, but to keep calling back every morning at 7:30 to see if there are any emergency appointments available.Within the following week we called every single day to get her in at 7:30, with no luck. So, I started reaching out to other vets in the Valley to see if we could get in there. Every vet I called explained that if we were a current client they would make time for us, and to call our current vet as they were not taking on new clients.When we relayed this information to Apple Valley, it did not seem to phase them and had no empathy for our situation and referred us to go see another vet or get to the hospital (which is only taking critical patients right now).The lack of empathy and willingness to help/work with us was shocking and we did not feel like we were a valued client.Since we had no other choice, we called again this morning to try to get help for our dog. They said they would not take us as a client anymore due to the bad review and rude phone calls.The customer service that we have endured during the past two weeks with Apple Valley is the worst weve been through and we hope that this doesnt happen to others.

They had a cancellation and worked really well with me on short notice. Between Nikki, Todd and Dr. Edwards, I wouldn’t go as far to say that was one of the best vet experiences of my life. Everyone was so warm, accommodating and nice. They gave me a good price on all I needed done and more importantly they talk over the bill with you every step of the way so you have no surprises. My first experience with this clinic was horrible, chaotic, noisy and stressful for both myself and my dog. & as if my experience with the clinic wasnt bad enough, when I brought my pet back to have her post surgery check up, I asked about a cough she was having & The vet tech casually let me know that kennel cough has been going around the clinic. So not only did my dog get it, but my sisters 3 dogs and my brothers 2 dogs as well. They didnt even warn me and they KNEW they had an out break. I tell anyone that I can and I will continue to tell people, DONT BRING YOUR PET TO THIS CLINIC!!!

Dr. Jain and Todd came to my house for a yearly exam for my snowshoe siamese. Previously my cat has been deemed fractious and mean at the vet (Ill admit, he absolutely was mean to others, every time) so I decided to have the vet come to him. This made all the difference in the world for my cat (and in turn, me as well) and they were extremely kind and careful with him. I will absolutely utilize the in home service again in the future and highly recommend their team! Im very thankful that I found them.

Recently they came to my house when I found it necessary to put my very sick elderly cat down. They were very caring and allowed me to hold and pet her during the process and afterward. This morning they came out and did the annual exam and shots for my dog. I find them compassionate and professional and highly recommend them.

So happy to have The Apple Valley team for my sweet Clooney girl. They love and care for her just like her Mama. I wouldn’t take her anywhere else. ❤️

I am so thankful for Dr. Pete and all the staff at Apple Valley Vet Clinic. I have an older, highly anxious cat and a home vet was the answer for him. I was blown away by how well he did with Dr. Pete and staff when they came to our home. They were very calm with him, were patient and gentle, it put us all at ease. I will definitely continue to use their services! I was also happy with how reasonable their prices are and how thorough the services are for being mobile. Highly recommend!!!

We called in desperation to help our pup who was suffering from a terrible ear infection and Lyme’s concern. It was meant to be that we called Apple Valley and House Calls, they just so happened to have an availability to see our pup at home and get him treated within a couple days. The vet and his vet tech were amazing: personable, professional, and they made both us and our pup feel comfortable with everything. The prices were very reasonable for having them come to our home. We are planning to switch all our fur babies over to Apple Valley and utilize both them and House Calls for our future small animal needs! Very impressed and very appreciative of their care and service!

Apple Valley Veterinary Clinic has been our clinic for the past 20 years or more. We have brought them a variety of animals such as ferrets, cats, and dogs. Chyna had kidney stone issues which required surgery at times. They treated her so well that she loved Dr Jain. They created a bond with each other as time wore on. Chyna didnt mind being boarded at the clinic when I needed to be out of town. They would take good care of her and kept a log sheet of her daily activities while we were gone and help her with her special needs. Chyna past away 16 years later but went very quietly and gently at the clinic. We were with her during at time frame even with a pandemic going on outside. We went ahead got another dog, AKC Huskey Isabella which now they treat as well as 3 other cats in the household. I would recommend them to anyone that needs special needs for their pets.Pam Kotar

Great care of our dogs, but poor communication within the office. Causes confusing between when you call and when you get there often.

They were able to get our new puppy Luna in the next day. They were good about answering our questions and concerns. So far a good place to take your pets to. The price of services seemed appropriate.

I should have known when my very first visit I was giving someone’s other dogs medication. I have had nothing but problems from this vet. One after another. My dog has had a chronic ear infection and bladder infection for years with the same expensive treatment as the last with no success. Every time I make an appointment I have to ask them to look in her ears, eyes, and mouth. After realizing this was not being done nor was she being weighed. After discovering myself her bad ears it was already so bad she is deaf! I had to have two teach removed when I could tell something was wrong not because they checked! After this I find out she has breast cancer and elect for surgery to save her. I was sent home told not to clean the area use medication as directed. I bring her back when I find a 2” long gash under her. I take her back and they tell me it is infected. To clean the area wow. This last visit I brought her in because I notice she isn’t comfortable and find out the cancer is back and sent home with a bunch of medication. They didn’t remove all the cancer just what they could for a few thousand. I requested for her urine to be check as well as her ears as always and not the first time this has happened they FORGOT! I call them on my way home to ask how they missed that again and was told someone would call me back. I never got a call back until today and not for that. They called me today for the appointment she already had weeks ago. Front office is terrible with communication, professionalism, and scheduling! I got a very unprofessional voicemail from Dr. Jan left to me today as I am making arrangements to have her lay to rest that he will no longer treat my dog. Well I guess you got your money. If you care about your pets at all please don’t go here. The amount of negligence has been devastating. I will spread the word about this place. My poor girl is basically a hospice patient waiting to pass and Dr. Jan refuses her in her last days I have to switch vets because the front office does not know how to communicate. Sickening this place is open.

If I were to give a complete review of the Apple Valley Veterinary Clinic and their staff, you would not have enough room for the high praises and accolades that I would give them all. My wife and I recently lost out beloved cat Maggie. The care and concern that Dr. Jain and Todd gave to Maggie was outstanding in all respects. I have owned three dogs in my life, Maggie was my first cat, she developed diabetes several years ago and we managed that with the help of Dr. Jains. Coming to our home and treating Maggie was a Blessing to us and Maggie.

Weve been bringing our animals (2 cats and a dog) to Apple Valley for two years and up until recently I would recommend them to others. Im extremely displeased with this clinic. I called to schedule an emergency appointment due to my dog not being able to keep food down for over 48 hours. I was advised the earliest I could be seen was the following day and it would be a normal appointment. The receptionist asked if I wanted to cancel my June appointment as they would have time to complete her annual exam. Great, I can figure out whats cause my dog to be sick and we can get her annual done... wrong! My husband showed up to her appointment to which they advised they never scheduled the appointment and only had the June appointment scheduled. When my husband advised I had called the prior day, he was told I mustve called the wrong number because no one spoke to me. When I called back to find out what happened, they apologized for the inconvenience and told me theyd get us in the next day. Not only were they rude upon us coming to our appointment, they refused to give us the paper documents of our records saying once you find a new vet we can email them. When it was voiced how unhappy we were with the experience we received and could we get a discount for the error on the clinics end, we were matched with the services were rendered. Youre not getting a discount. I chose this clinic when we moved to Appleton based on reviews and them being voted best in the valley. I dont know how Apple Valley received this title because my experience is the absolute opposite. I can only hope they treat other better than we were treated.Updating my review 6/3/2021: if I could give this clinic zero stars I would. I requested the prescription for heart guard and Nexguard only to be advised when they did Bella’s “annual” they didn’t give her the vaccinations they stated they would and are refusing to give me the prescription without paying for another office visit on top of the vaccination charges. Dr. Jan is unprofessional, doesn’t care about his patients or their families and is only in this business for money. DISGUSTING HUMAN AND CLINIC.

I took my dog, Roxy, here when she grew a mass on her face. I was a little upset that it could be cancerous, although were still waiting on lab work, staff were extremely caring and very helpful. She had her surgery yesterday and staff treated her extremely well, even after I was a little upset a few weeks ago about the situation. The staff are very understanding and they even went out of their way to check up on her the following day. Best vet clinic in the area!

My veterinarian for many years recently retired, and sold his house calls practice to a local Veterinarian, Dr Sanjay Jain, at Apple Valley Veterinary Clinic. I am very happy to say that today Tripod and I had our first appointment, and it went very well. Dr Jain brought along all of his gear and a pleasant associate by the name of Todd. Apple Valley Veterinary Clinic is a professionally run vet service, and has an atmosphere of comfort and caring. As I have moved around the country the need to provide quality up-to-date care for my Irish Setters can be a challenge. Our dogs are a part of the family, and our Vet is like the Pediatrician would be for human babies. Our Irish Setters just happen to be four-footed fuzzy children. I have used House Calls for several years now for my two Shih Tzus. This was my first time meeting Dr. Jain who took over for Dr. Riedl. I couldnt be happier and my dogs were calm and comfortable around him. He answered all my questions and was thorough. What a valuable service House Calls provides.

This is a very trustworthy place to take your animal/best friend for all medical care. From emergency appointments to routine checkups. Everyone on staff truly loves animals and shows it. My hunting dogs are worked hard and need the best medical care and Ive found it here. Expensive, Oh Yea but worth the best care you can get.

First time we took our fur baby there. They were very nice and took good care of our pup.

I’ve been taking my dog Sue there since he was a puppy. Every person we’ve worked with there has been nothing short of amazing. They’re good at what they do and you can tell everyone there loves their job which makes all the difference. Sue gets so excited every time we pull into the parking lot because he knows he’s gonna be treated well and by folks who care for him, and of course get treats.

I am very disappointed that the Clinic has not opened back up and only has car side assistance. Vet appts can be very traumatic for my dogs and not being able to go in with them makes this even worse. Hospitals, medical clinics and other businesses have opened up.This past week one of my dogs passed away unexpectedly. Having two young girls come out with a stretcher in front of the clinic to my car, while other owners with their pets watched, made a devastating experience something I will never forget. There was no compassion or privacy and we were heartbroken. I will be looking to switch vets.

My husband and I have been taking our pets here for at least 5 years, and I cannot recommend them enough. The staff is friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, and honest. They are great at offering you care options for your pets that are right for your budget and are never pushy with the higher end products they do offer in house. We recently had to humanely euthanize one of our cats and the entire staff was absolutely phenomenal; they have really lovely memorial options for remembering your pet. We were so supported and I felt that each and every person we encountered was truly sorry and saddened to see our cat pass. Their COVID response has also been superb for both customer and staff; I definitely feel safe taking my pets there.

The fact that they came to our house is a plus. Their very kind and considerate. I would highly recommend them.

Apple Valley Vet has always been my vet since moving to the Fox Valley. They are always very kind and caring with my pets. They are very thorough when it comes to routine vet care, and amazing in unfortunate situations when my pets have been ill. I trust them very much with my fur babies, and know they are in good hands. Especially now with Covid and we cant come in with our pets, I dont ever feel concerned because I know they will all treat them like their own!

I had to take my 14 year old dog in for his yearly vaccine . Lately Ive been feeling uncomfortable about not being allowed inside , I called Tessa and she was amazing , I asked who was seeing my dog and she said Dr. Pete, Ive never met him , so more nervous . She said Dr Pete was an angel ......She was sooo right !! I I felt so much better when I called hours before appt. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been bringing my pets here for decades and surprise they enjoyed coming. If your pet enjoys coming, even though unpleasant things occasionally occur (shot, surgeries, teeth cleaning, etc), you know its a petcentric place.

I recently switched to this veterinary clinic as the reviews were great and I was looking for something a little bit closer. A few days ago both of my cats had dental procedures and I was very nervous about the whole thing.This clinic was so nice in answering my questions prior to the procedure; and during the day of the procedure, they called frequently to give updates on them. My cats are super happy now and they went above and beyond to give me products to help keep their teeth healthy. I look forward to continue using this veterinary clinic in the future!Update: still amazing, they treat my cats with such kindness every time they’ve come in! Thank you so much!

All the staff there is really friendly and they work very hard to provide the best care to your pet. They make sure to talk about any concerns you may have and cover all other health aspects. You can tell they really care.

We had to put down our cat today, and we couldnt have chosen a better place. They were reasonably priced for someone who is low-income. All the staff were so empathetic and considerate. They let us stay with our JJ as long as we would like. I got to hold him in my arms until he went. We will choose them again in the future for any services we may need for our pets. Thank you to Dr. Gasper and the rest of the Apple Valley team for making the experience easy and understandable so we could focus on comforting our sweet boy.

I have lived a couple blocks away for 7 years and always took my pets to my original vet 45 minutes away. I have been using that vet since 2000. We recently got our new pup Tessa, and with the pandemic and convenience thought I would give them a try. They have been very wonderful, listen to concerns and are very supportive. I decided to make the move with my other dog and kitties as well.They are curbside only right now but I appreciate they are taking pandemic seriously for me and staff, and do not feel like I am missing out on a bit of care with this method.

I’m so happy I found Apple Valley! While it wasn’t ideal to establish care during a pandemic, the staff made it the best possible experience for my dog and I. I was prepared to spend twice what I was charged, which was a huge surprise. I’m beyond pleased with the care my little dog has received.

It was my first time bringing my own pets to the vet, they handled everything professionally explaining extra steps and keeping me informed, the appointment may have taken a little longer than I expected but if its done as professionally as it was with 14 week old kittens Id say it went pretty well 😊.

I moved to Appleton last year and had not found a vet clinic I was set on going to. Then had a second baby and Covid happened. Such an amazing experience having the home service today! Very accommodating, fast, friendly and reasonably priced. Had two of my dogs examined and updated all of their shots! I have already recommended them to some friends and will continue to use this practice going forward!

This was the only vet clinic in my area that was able to squeeze my pup in for a visit when she was sick. I called morning of and she had an appointment for later that day. They were great

I had to bring my dog here after a run around with another vet not being able to do my dogs neutering. They were so informative and took the time to explain the surgery. They even called me mid day to let me know he was out of surgery! As a worrier I appreciated that more than you know! Ill be switching vets now and bringing my other dog here as well!

House Calls Veterinary Service with Dr Jain and Todd provided awesome care for our 4 cats for the annual wellness exams and vaccinations. Plus one of our cats needed follow-up radiographs, which they were able to do right in our home. Thanks so much for the exceptional care!!!

My family has brought our pets to this clinic for as long as I can remember. Theyve always been kind and helpful and informative. Things are a little different with the pandemic on, but I was grateful that I was allowed to be inside the building when we unfortunately had to have our cat put down yesterday.In general, everyone was sympathetic and kind toward me while I filled my mask with tears, but there is one thing I feel I really must say. During the euthanizing injection, the veterinarian performing the procedure joked that my cat was going to meet her maker, and let out a little laugh as well.I am the sort of person who uses humor to deal with rough situations, so I somewhat understand if this was the goal here. However, death is one of those rare times that calls for empathy or silence. Death is sad. We all know it, and we should allow it to be sad. It was so odd to hear joking while my cat died next to me. It felt so inappropriate, and I recommend against going that route in the future.For everything else, thank you so much. The pawprint keepsake is beautiful.

I have been taking my fur babies here for a little over 3 years now. I feel like they express true concern about my dogs when there is an issues, and always find a reasonable solution. They are very gentle with my dogs, and even though we have a pitbull they have never express concern about him (even if he is a little bossy and loud). Moved to Green Bay 1 year ago and we still make the drive to Appleton for our pets to be cared for through Apple Valley Vet. We have compared pricing throughout the green bay and fox valley area and feel as if pricing is very comparable. I would recommend family and friends to this clinic :)

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and they are always so good with my cats. Even now with the whole pandemic, they do a wonderful job at making sure your pets feel safe there and keeping you in the loop. Right now they are doing curbside which is so nice. They get your pet from your car and call you throughout the process to make sure you know what’s going on. All of their employees are amazing and always so cheerful even in a time like this 😃

Hi highly recommended Apple Valley Veterinary. In April, I brought my dog in to Dr. Pete. He diagnosed her with sever cancer. He didnt think, she was going to last long, but she lasted until July 27, 2020. Dr. Pete is a very caring and kind doctor. He sent me several emails, to check on Wags and myself. Took my dog for his annual checkup and vaccines today. The staff did an excellent job. They came out to your car to get your dog and with any paper work necessary. Then the Dr. did examine while I waited in my car. When he was finished he called me and discussed how the visit went. Then the technician brought my dog back out to me. It all went really smooth. Great job dealing with our current situation in the world. Thank you for your expert and compassionate service.

Apple Valley was a life saver. They saw my sick kitty when everyone was full. I had never worked with them before, but they were polite and professional and great with Piper. I appreciate them greatly, as does Piper.

Yesterday morning I had to do the hardest thing ever. My Buddy had diabetes and I know that I could not give him the care he needed. Dr Jain and his nurse came and explained how and what was going to take place , at 10:25 am I said my final good bye and sent Buddy off to heaven. Even through my heart is breaking Dr. Jain and his nurse made me understand and did the best thing possible. Now Dr. Jain an d his crew will be busy caring for my other boy Tiggiroo.

Love bringing my pet her. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Doctor Carla is very attentive to our pets needs and takes her time diagnosing and explaining treatments for our senior dog. We are very happy that she joined the Apple Valley Team. I will definitely continue bringing my pet here.

Dr Jain and Todd had an in-home wellness check on my dog for the first time since they took over the House Calls business. They were kind and sweet to my dog, took the time to answer all my questions and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I had used Apple Valley for over 2 decades until my almost 18 yr old chihuahua recently was put down. Through a lack of follow through of my request to retrieve his collar and tag after the procedure, neither were kept for me. I am truly saddened by the thoughtlessness.

Was in need of vet to do house calls. Dr Jain and vet tech Julie were extremely friendly and put me at ease quickly. My cat Honey liked them too ..they were gentle and caring towards her. Knowledgable in what they were doing.Easy way to pay. I would definitely have them come again as my new Vet Team I will refer people to them without hesitation.
