I am not sure where to begin these guys have always gone above and beyond for me and my family. My mom, dad, grandmother, grandfather, aunts, uncles, my cushions and even my grandmothers best friend Shirly have gone here for car repairs over the years.My Family has been customers here since before I was born. Ron won my grandfather over when he did a difficult repair on my grandfathers crown Victorian and did not try to up sale him a bunch of stuff he did not need in repairs at the time.I feel confident that Mark has never up sold me ever on any kind of extra repair I dont need which would not be hard to do. When mechanics start talking cars and car parts they might as while be speaking alien to me.What else is there to say other than the place is clean including the one restroom and all the mechanics know their stuff here. I have always been treated like family here and been taken care of here over the years. I highly recommend this place for car repairs, oil changes, tire rotations and basic maintenance needs.

Always the place to go for professional car repair. Second generation family run local business that really takes care of your vehicles.Had to have car towed because of computer issues. Dealership said we would have the car back in 6-8 DAYS. Tuffy is clearing codes, repairing broken engine part and changing the oil- we get the car back tomorrow and they cost less than the tow.PLUS explained to the wife that I hadnt broken her car.

These mechanics know what they are doing. I have been here multiple times and each time they get it done the first time correctly and I think they are serious about their work. Today I got an alternator change from them but Ive gotten repairs before and each time they are correctly done.

Prompt friendly service. A regular customer came in and asked them to change her cars front light bulb and they didnt charge her. She was so happy. I was referred to this Tiffys by Discount Tire in Apopka for a wheel alignment.

Absolutely amazing. I came in to have my a.c fixed and transmission looked at. Its very hard to find a repair shop that will take the time to help you and treat you right and be honest. Everyone was friendly and helpful on my visit. Did not have an issue and the service was great.

I went in for a mandated insurance inspection, had a civil conversation with a gentleman behind the desk, and placed my keys where he had asked me to. Then from the opposite side of the room, a man, I can only presume was the manager/owner says “these state mandated insurance inspections are required by your insurance, so if you have an attitude you can go somewhere else”. To which I replied “I work nights, and am not generally up this early, and I understand this isn’t your primary business, but I am not being disrespectful, just don’t have much to say” he then accused me of “throwing” my keys on the desk. So I let him finish his tirade as if I was his teenage son. What he didn’t know was... I needed 4 new tires, an oil change, balance, and wanted them to check my hoses for any leaks since I’m going on long trip. I see other reviews regarding these inspections, but the office Rambo needs to back off, because his mouth cost him and his shop about a grand. I called Classic Honda, they were cheaper anyway. For the record no keys were “thrown”, they were placed on the desk, calmly. I was just quiet, without much to say, but I will gladly take my business elsewhere, where I’ll be treated like a mature adult should. The two guys working the desk were excellent by the way, and were constantly being pestered by this guy, as people were coming in to look at the cars for sale out front and he didn’t even know where to find the keys for them. What a joke... You need to let your guys at the desk do their jobs, because they are way better at it than you are. I hope they get an opportunity to work for a better boss.

I just recently took my truck there for servicing for my oil leaks. Turns out the staff at this Tuffy were ultra profession and educated as far as their jobs is concerned. They were spot on about my trucks diagnosis and saved me a ton of money in repair bills. Worst place in the world.....They know absolutely nothing about customer service, the young man in the office is arrogant and the older man in the office is racist. The workshop is well equipped and in a good place but the Service stinks.

I love these guys. Im always afraid to take my car to an auto repair shop because they always try to rip me off since Im a woman, but now I only bring my car here. The manager was awesome and they did a great job on the repairs.

Overall, very happy with service. They got me right in on a Saturday for an oil change, made some recommendations that Ill follow up with and thought their prices were reasonable. Will be heading back though, as since they switched out the cabin filter, Ive been getting an annoying clicking sound whenever I turn of the vent/AC past 1. Did some Google research and hope they fix the issue without any drama as It began post-oil change.

Absolutely the best place to have your car repaired! Ive taken 4 of my cars to this Tuffy over the past 7 years and have always been very happy with their service. They moved to the new location not far from Mullinex Ford on 436 last year and the facilities are clean and first rate. The personnel are very helpful, competent and polite. And, the price rates are far better than any dealership. I have never had a bad experience and will continue to bring my cars there for everything from oil changes, tire repairs and major repairs (If I have any more... hopefully not.. knock, knock).

First visit and had an appointment. I arrived and they were too busy to honor the appointment. They showed no compassion for the fact that they failed to notify me before I arrived with my arranged ride home. Very unprofessional showed no honor. Dont bother to make appointments as they are useless at this business. I will make sure that I notify the business (Discount Tire) that suggested them for their honorable work.

Not Tuffy’s, they took the time to investigate a previous diagnosis and saved my husband and I hundreds of dollars and an insane amount of frustration (on a part we didn’t even need). Hopefully our car will be good for a long time, but if it isn’t, we know exactly where to go.

I cant remember when I first brought one of my vehicles to Tuffy Apopka but so long as Im in the Orlando area they will be my mechanic of choice. Theyve earned my business over the years by being honest and not pressuring me or my wife into thinking our car is falling apart. Moreover, I had a brake job done and there was an issue with the brakes that were installed. I brought it back in and without question they fixed it at no cost with no questions asked. In addition, theyve been very forthright with giving me information on how to fix my own car so I dont have to spend additional money at the shop. You just dont get service like this anywhere else. Class act shop!

Buyer beware. My son went in for a wheel alignment - the tech there talked him into over $250.00 worth of maintenance that he didnt need. Luckily, he didnt fall for the other $175.00 they tried to charge for a transmission fluid change, that he didnt need - because it had recently been done. My son is young and not savvy, so this was an expensive lesson for him - but let it be a warning to you - these folks are NOT straight shooters, they will take advantage of you. I will never allow anyone in my family to go there ever again.

Have previously been a longtime customer but things have gone downhill lately. Twice they did an oil change on my Silverado truck and oil filter was so loose it almost came off a week or so later. Did the same thing when changing my wifes oil on nearly new Subaru. It was dripping oil from the drain plug. Just now they quoted twice the cost of GMC dealer for replacing knock sensor. They obviously didnt want to do the repair. Not only that, after evaluating the problem, they didnt fully hook everything back up on the wiring harness before I picked up the car. Dont know what is going on there but I wont go back.

My experience was absolutely HORRIBLE. Completely terrifying. I stopped in the town quick because i was passing through. The owner did not have his act together and very dishonest. I went for a simple oil change, then left and my car would not even run! I went right down the road to another auto shop and they showed me hose that was loosened from my engine, it was the hose that distributes the gas to the engine. (Sorry for the lack of terminology) but however, the hose had to only be loosened with a specific wrench. I went back to Tuffys and discussed with not only the owner but employees (who was scattered brain) the issue and they was all completely and clearly telling multiple cover up and lies. I asked around Apopka to some of the locals, and i heard many times on how big of a crook he was and i should not ever go there due to the lies the man tells not only with this business but with his previous car selling business.

This is a franchise store. The store owners son is the manager. I would be mortified if my son ever treated anyone, let alone a customer, the way he treated me.I had never been to a Tuffy but when I purchased new insurance they sent me here for a car inspection. The owners son said they do the inspections for free, as a courtesy and are not paid for them so I should have brought what was needed. I asked him repeatedly what I needed, with my insurance agent on my cell phone. He kept going on about how they werent paid for it. Finally, he told me I needed to wait until the other manager came to work because he couldnt help me. I asked when they would be in he said, you should just leave because we arent getting paid for this.I did leave and contacted the corporate office.This is an example of why you dont employ your family. There is no reason this young man needed to inform me his father owned the store except to further aggravate the situation. It was his way of telling me he can do whatever he wants to do.

I have taken my car over there a few time and they did a great job but recently I got my passanger cv-axle replace by them and they did not did it properly. I pay $313 for everything (passanger side only). the problem is that the boot is is twisted and the car make a deep vibration sound when you press the gas pedal. I have tested drive with the tech and he notice it too. He told me it an engine mounting issue; I told him that bullshit and that the car have never make that noise before the new cv-axle installation. Well looks like they wont have my business anymore.update. The owner Ron called me to inform that he is willing to replace the cv-axle for free but it too late because i fix the problem that i pay them to do myself. I wasnt happy with the recent job so I aint going back for future business. Oh by the way, did I mention that Ron himself is the person that inform me that there is nothing wrong with my newly install cv-axle; that when he told me to test drive with another mechanic. I guess he read the comment.
