Took my car in at the appointment time and had it done in 40 minutes while I waited. Only charged me the 1 hr labor time which was very reasonable. Good people to deal with. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

First I want to say that, I maintain my vehicle as best as possible. I do not drive reckless or even fast over speed bumps. I went to Muffler Man in Apopka for an alignment after being referred by Discount Auto tire. I purchased tires because I felt a slight pull but Discount tire suggested I go to Muffler Man for an inexpensive wheel alignment after the tire replacement. I took it in first thing in the morning. After not hearing from them all day, I called to find out if they were done. I was told they were just done and that I needed alot of work done. When I got to the shop, the very cool staff working the desk said I must drive like I am driving through a terrain I said actualy NO, I do not . I do not even go over a speed bump fast, avoid pot holes and maintain my car. He said he was surprised to hear that becaue I needed to get my Struts/sway bar, Shocks and control arm replaced. and would also need to get another alignment after that and quoted me over $1600. I asked if I needed all of that work and then another alignment after why would he do an alignment on my car beforehand. Anyways, I paid for the alignment service I received that day, He game me a new quote of about and provide a discount if I did it all at once and the new quote was $1400. I strongly considered getting it done but again with me maintain my car and avoiding so much, I was a bit hesitant so I took it to the dealer and was told their was absolutely nothing wrong with my car and none of those items that I specified needed replacing and they wer enot sure why Muffler Man told me I did. Feeling bad that I took it to the dealer and nothing was wrong with it, i asked what about an oil change? Do I at least need that? and they said, no. My car was in great shape. I wanted to write this review because they staff at Muffler were pretty personable and I trusted them and thought they were being honest and even happier when they cut almost $300 off the original quote but after knowing that nothing was wrong with my car, I wanted to share my experience. I see that they had preety good reviews and like I said if it were not that I know I dont drive my car carelessly, I would have moved forward with getting all of it serviced not knowing nothing was really wrong with it.

I found this shop looking at google reviews and gave them a try after having several bad experiences in the area. I have now been coming here for a few years and wouldnt go anywhere else. We have several used cars in the family and classic car. Danielle, Dray and their team are fair, honest, knowledgeable and hard working. Ive always had the philosophy that if you treat your customers right then your business will grow. From the reviews Ive read, the customers I speak with when Im in the shop and the personal treatment I receive its without a doubt they have that same philosophy.

I found this place because I had a warranty from when I lived on the other coast of Florida. There was two places suggested to me the first one I called and they were not answering. So I called this place they answered.They were very nice, very polite & got me in right away. Fixed the problem that was under warranty. I used them for some other mechanical things. I know enough about cars to know that there were several times they could have easily taken advantage of me, thinking I wouldnt know but they didnt. They have always been good, honest, kind, reasonable priced, quick and have always taken care of me and my vehicle. My only negative thing to say is said I wish they were open on Saturdays. I was just in there Friday, to have an oil change and we discussed the Saturday situation. I fully understand why they close on Saturdays and with my job, Im able to work enough hours to be able to get off and get to see my mechanic. Brian and Dray are the two brothers that run it and you couldnt ask for better people. I very, very highly recommend them for anything to do with your automobiles. Apopka Muffler Man gained 2 loyal customers. I was calling around to get some quotes for some maintenance I needed done on my car. 1 place quoted me and said that my car had 2 belts that needed to be replaced so the cost was double. I called Muffler Man and spoke with Danny. He said his system was only showing my car had 1 belt to replace. He was able to give me clear quotes over the phone and they were able to fit me in on a busy Saturday and had it all ready to go at 3 PM same day.They did exactly what I asked them to do for the car and didnt try to scare me into any other services that needed to be done. We pretty much did everything that day. Car runs great, no issues.We also had our other car serviced with them. That one had a ton of problems but Danny was upfront about what needed to be done and only did what we could afford at the time. I would definitely recommend them. They are honest, reliable, and do great work.

1st let me say, Ive NEVER been treated SO KINDLY from a mechanic shop in my life!!! 2nd Im not from Florida, nor did I know them from Adam. I came here for a fresh start. but after just moving here. I bought a vehicle,from the Apopka, area & I trusted someone to be honest and the biggest lesson, I pass to you. In hopes to help another YOU HAVE THE RIGHT to have a vehicle checked out prior to purchase from a personal individual or from a buy here sell here. If they refuse, or make up any excuse. Just! DO NOT buy it. I dont care what story they say... You have the right as a human being to be safe, for not just yourself but those you love that maybe in the vehicle with you, and those around you on the road. Meaning it should be reliable... I received excellent, friendly service from the minute I walked in. Even though it looked busy they were able to not only look at it immediately but took it in and had it fixed in less than an hour. I was charged about a third to a fourth less than I thought it would cost and Im so grateful to these guys for saving my car while I was passing through town on vacation. Thank you! My car sounds like a new car now, I never knew it could run this good. :)

I needed a good and honest shop to get a little list of things checked or repaired in my car (Timing belt, a loud hum coming from somewhere in the front, fluids check, brakes, tires, etc.) and came to this one thanks to the great reviews I read in Google. I can truly say I was not disappointed.Dray took the time to explain to me WHAT needed to be done and WHY, also took his time to help me figure out what cost-wise options were good for me, explaining what things were a real FIX IT NOW OR ELSE and what other things could be done at another occasion. I found fluid in my driveway under my truck so I dropped my truck off to have them check what was going on. I showed them pictures Id taken so theyd have a pretty good idea..While at the counter, still giving my story, a gentleman goes outside and inspects the area. Youre good man! No leak. Something mustve spilled out of your toolbox and down onto the driveway. I saw the dried liquid on the bottom of your bed.I appreciated their prompt professionalism. I immediately asked them if they did work on Cadillacs.This is my 2nd Rd with then and theyre consistently great to work with.You may feel the same way

This place deserves a lot more stars than just 5! Great staff! Instead of most places that tell you what you need they explain the reasons why. Prices are reasonable they dont try to take your money and me being a woman means a lot.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Brought them my truck with the task of installing a y-pipe after I put on my headers for I cannot weld. When I return they had cut the flanges of my headers thus ruining the 700$ I spent on headers. They also charged me with a 180$ custom fuel line job which turned out to be them bending them and screwing a piece of scrap metal to push the lines against the body. Then I brought it back to them two times to re-weld it because the welds kept breaking. Had a family friend who gives them business call them and the owner of the shop said I asked to do it on a budget that I didnt have a flex pipe and that they had to cut the exhaust to put the cats on. Now heres the problem with that. The truck has had a flex pipe on it from the factory and that didnt change, not once did I ever tell him to do it on a budget but that does explain the cheap piping and crap welds. Now they did have to take the cats off which doesnt count as on of those two return trips, because the cats where broken which is weird cause I didnt give them to muffler man broken. To end this rant owner from what I am told is doing nothing, so Im left with a exhaust that is quickly breaking itself off the truck and 700$ headers that I cant resell cause of what they did to them. I do not recommend muffler man to anyone from this nightmare of an experience. 0 out of 5.

I first discovered this repair shop when I needed to have one of my coils replaced as an emergency fix. Dray Coggin took really good care of me and at a very affordable price. Because of the first positive experience, I went back when I had a problem with my muffler. Once again the problem was squared away in a quick, precise, and affordable manner. So far, all the services I have received have been satisfactory and the prices are always reasonable. Also, what I appreciate is that they are not too pushy about upselling a lot of extra services like some other repair shops are. Only what you need, thats what I like! It feels good to know that I have a guy to go to that I can trust.I recommend Muffler Man to anyone in the Apopka area that needs work done on their vehicle. Big thumbs up!

Walked in without an appointment and my car was on the lift in 20 minutes despite a very busy shop. The manager or owner at the counter listened to what I had to say, and had a reasonably priced quote quickly. Job was completed fast and without any of the usual attempts to sell me other services. After paying and leaving i noticed a rattling sound. Turns out a third part which i did not replace had a baffle loose inside. They fixed it for free! Will be back again. Rare to find mix of good work, good prices and great customer service

I took my car to this place 4 years ago on a recommendation from a close friend, and I have been coming back ever since. Its run by a guy named Mike and his sons. They always get me in and out quickly and always do their best to save me money. Five stars and two thumbs up to this establishment!

Due to that pleasant feedback and a kind technician in the phone, I made an appointment for myself. After speaking to a technician and them showing me the work they were doing, I felt like I was also being cared for, not just my car. They went above and beyond what they ought to on my behalf. True costumer service was received on my end. I really appreciate and value that. The best honest and stand by the work they do. Example my daughter called from FSU on a car they new well. They took the time to listen and they determined the shop up there was selling snake oil fix. Did not do it next time home small fix to care of everything.

In spite of a broken exhaust flange by my muffler, I came across muffler man and was in desperate need of getting this issue fixed. I was a walk-in and even though they only take customers by appointment, despite a busy shop they were able to take my car and have it on the lift in under 5 minutes. Not even a half hour passed and they were able to weld in a new pipe for me and my issue was fixed. Greatly appreciated since Im from Chicago and my mechanic is all the way back home. Weve always had a good experience here and today was no exception. They were able to diagnose the problem and then replace the alternator same day just prior to closing. They went above and beyond to help, even though they easily could have told me to come back when they had more time. Its a holiday weekend , so I probably wouldnt have a working car for another few days if it werent for them. I had my 2 little girls with me and they were getting a little antsy. They brought out some paper and markers for them to keep them occupied which really helped keep them entertained while we waited. I really appreciate everything they did for me to get my car working again and will keep using them in the future. Great customer service. Thanks again for all that you did!

I called one morning and asked about having a car window looked at. The gentleman who answered said I could walk in and drop my car off without an appointment. Tried twice now to stop in and talk to someone about service for my vehicle. No one in the reception area both times. Second time I even called from my cell phone while standing in the waiting area. No answer when I called. I will definitely not be back.

My catalytic converter got separated from the exhaust pipe thanks to the rust that I got from NY state salt, that is used to fight the snow. Anyway I bought me a new catalytic converter from ebay and went to this place to see if they could install it, and these people told me that maybe they could, but then there was a problem and showed me that the part that is connected to the manifold was merged because of the rust, but then the guy told me that there was another way to be able to install the new one without having to buy more new parts and showed me how! (He helped me to save money) but he needed my permission to do it and I said yes no problem and they installed it. Honest people, fair prices, clean waiting room, plus restrooms. One more thing! they not only fix mufflers, they will fix anything that is wrong with your car. Go to this place you wont regret it.

Worst shop I have ever been to. The charged me twice because their merchant machine wasn’t working. Wouldn’t give me my money back so I had to get my back involved and didn’t get my money back for 3 weeks. I recommend no one to go here. Plenty of places 10x cheaper!

I was ripped off by the owner of Muffler Man and complained about it and was told its a civil matter and recommended I sue him, but they added that hes also under investigation, and based upon my request that they at the very least warn people (since they know what hes doing) until they complete their investigation (and hopefully fry this creep) - and was told they will consider posting some sort of notice here in the near future, so hopefully a follow up post by them will appear sometime shortly after this one, but you know how slowly the wheels of government turn...so well see. But until then, just know that he uses crappy refurbished used parts, whole charging you for new ones. I can easily afford new car parts and dont mind what they cost, but dont appreciate being told Im paying for new parts that then fail because they are defective, only to go to a second repair shop who then informs me that the new parts I paid for are really junk parts that should have never been installed.

This family owned repair shop does repairs the old fashioned straight forward way. I had an exhaust manifold issue. They put it on the lift and showed me the problem and offered a couple of solutions. I was fixed and gone 4 hours later. I will do business with them again.

When I was hearing a weird whining noise coming from my belts once, I went to a different shop who wanted $1200 to basically change all the belts out, without even telling me what specifically was wrong. I then went to Dray and Danny at Muffler Man, who actually did a little investigation and even showed me that it was simply a worn out bearing. I ended up paying about 150 and was back on the road in less than an hour, free from the whining noise. These guys are awesome!!!
