They did a really on my truck putting in a transmission that I brought with me finding all the other little problems fixing those as well. Wasnt super expensive like a lot of places. On a notable mention Jason was quite knowledgeable and very informative with a very friendly personality its getting hard to find nowadays especially out of shop. My only complaint that is not a super big complaint perhaps its just my way of thinking but, to me if you have to cut something out to do the job you should be able to put it back so that it doesnt cost the customer money somewhere else perhaps they need to buy a welder so that the next time they have to cut a exhaust pipe they can weld it back shut. Other than that this is a great bunch of guys that do a good job.

Brandon & Jason do fantastic work here at this location. I took my 66 Mustang in for a transmission re-build (it was leaking and a rebuild was more effective). To boot, it was skipping 2nd gear and going first to third. I did not know that. They went above and beyond also replacing the front and rear u-joints - at their expense. It was questionable whether that was even on their side of the fence, but they did it to please another customer.I can understand why they only have 5-star reviews. They refuse to have any kind of dissatisfied customer in their shop. They have a life-long customer in me. They were not high priced, but reasonable for the job they did. Great people. Go see them when the need arises. DZ

I drive a high end Italian sports car and when my brakes needed replacing I went to my local dealer. The fees associated with a brake job, at the dealer, can be quite costly. I know what you’re thinking - you drive a high end vehicle so just shut up and pay up - but I have never subscribed to paying more for a name. So I knew if I went to Brandon he’d guide me. Jason helped me find out where to order authentic parts and checked their part numbers against those of my dealer. When the parts came in I simply popped on over and the job was done in a few hours. When I tell you I paid about 40% less in labor and parts it’s the truth. That’s why when my husbands jeep (which is out of warranty) had an issue we went there first. They took the time to diagnose the issues for free! This shop is run by honest hardworking friendly guys like Brandon and Jason who understand it’s about the relationship and that’s why they are, and will remain, our go to mechanics. TB

Unbelievable service really good people to deal with

Have waited awhile to write this review due to wanting to see how well the rebuilt transmission has held up. I keep cars a long time and I drive a lot of miles. I took my F-150 in to have the transmission rebuilt after it went out with 200,000 miles on it. All I can say is that I am very pleased with work they did. The transmission has been flawless. These guys are true professionals that you can trust and they know what they are doing.

This is, without a doubt, the best place to take your vehicle for any kind of repairs. I have never had any problems, both Jason and Brandon in the front office are fantastic and everything is done at top-notch quality.Im a dude who knows absolutely nothing about cars and they never make me feel dumb about it, and explain things in easy to understand terms. My wife also loves this place because its the only repair shop shes been to where she wasnt talked down to.Love it, love everything about it.

I have taken several cars here for various repairs. The service is outstanding, they know what they are doing and that is the most important thing you want in a mechanic. Unfortunately auto repair is pricey but you get what you pay for here, so that takes some of the sting off. I would highly recommend this repair shop.

I just took my car in yesterday, because I was having some issues with a misfire. Before coming here, I got my car checked at another place and received an estimate of $440 for the correction plus labor. After bringing it here, I was only charged $350 so thats awesome! After completing the job, Jason found that my transmission wasnt shifting gears properly due to a cut wire. I was also told this by another autoshop, but was originally going to be charged $200/hour. I was only charged $55 dollars here!! Im truly happy that I decided to take my car here, and would definitely recommend!

I’ve been having problems with my a/c for a long time. I have taken it to multiple shops and they all tried to replace the major parts of the a/c and would not say if that was the actual problem. They all would say that is where you need to start. So I decided to say no. Finally a friend told me about this AAMCO on 436 so I reluctantly gave it a shot expecting the same results. After 2 hours they found the problem it was just a wire and the cost was minor! These people are honest and truly experts at there trade. They have a customer for life!

I have been going to this shop for 10 years and have always received exceptional service. They explain things in a manner that is easy to understand and their advise is always realistic. There have been a few times that I havent been able to afford all the repairs my car needed at once and they prioritized the repairs for me so I could fix what was needed immediately and hold off on what could wait. My car has always been ready on time and the repairs are reasonably priced. I recommend this shop to anyone who lives in the area.

I would personally prefer to get a cavity filled than to deal with vehicle maintenance and repair. After getting my car serviced at AAMCO in Apopka, however, I will dread the process much less in the future. Brandon, Jason, and the crew were courteous, welcoming, and professional. One of my least favorite things to do is try to find a reputable company these days. So, when I had a problem with my second, older Chevy, a 4x4, I asked a friend in the car business and he recommended Brandon and Jason at this AAMCO. Wow! Not only did they fix the problem quickly and efficiently, they also fixed another issue that I had actually given up on. The authorized Chevy repair shop had told me that other issue would be nearly a thousand dollars to fix and I said no way. These guys did 3 things for me and at a significantly less cost than that. Im going to give all my future Chevy work to them!!! :-)

Have gone to this Aamco location for years. They are the best automotive service centers. We used to go to the dealerships where we purchased the car, till a friend recommend this place. They are very dependable, trustworthy and reliable. They explain all the work that is needed to the car and prioritize the need. They follow through with their excellent work. They saw me coming. They should probably Stick to transmissions. Manager initially told me around $400 but they needed to look at it first. Upon further review they called me and told me 6 to $700. Then at the end of the day they called me back and told me it went up to $1,000 for a rear end brake job????? I figured with a well named company they could have treated me like I am from here. I think the mistake I made was telling them I was on vacation from Jacksonville. The sad part is there ARE better qualified repair shops across the street. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AND ITS AFFILIATES.. sorry to hear the owner openly admit his manager had to GUESS AT MY REPAIRS!.

AAMCO has been servicing our familys cars for years. They are very up front and honest. You always know what is wrong with your car and how much it will cost PRIOR to them fixing it. My favorite is when I call and say Its making a funny noise. Brandon has me hold my cell phone up to the noise and tells me, now that could be one of two things, go ahead and bring it on in and well take a look at it. If I dont understand, they explain it. This AAMCO has a good team. The whole team has worked together since they opened! They are honest, knowledgeable, and polite to deal with. AAMCO helps YOU take care of YOUR car.

I purchased a used 2008 Mazda 6 a couple months back and after one week of driving it the transmission blew. I brought the car to AAMCO and from the first time I stepped in there I received nothing short of the highest quality customer service I could ask for. Myself being a broke graduate student, Jason provided me with the assurance that his men would take care of the issue and it would come with a 12-month warranty on the labor. It took me 2 months to make a decision on what to do because none of my options were cheap. However, I wanted to make the right decision that would be in my best interest for the long run. Jason kept an open line of communication with me and was available to speak on the phone when I needed advice for those 2 months before I agreed to have my car fixed at their shop.My car was in and out of the shop in 7-8 days and it is running great! Very thankful for the quality work of the team at AAMCO and for the AMAZING customer service I received from Jason.

About 2 years ago I had the transmission in my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo rebuilt by a shop on Orange Ave (that shall remain nameless). They gave me a 12 mos. warranty and sent me on my way. Approximately 18 mos later, the transmission in the car was starting to act up again and finally just died on me. I searched the BBB and to my amazement, almost every transmission shop in Orlando had an F rating (wish I had checked it before getting it repaired @ that nameless shop on Orange Ave). There was only one shop registered with the BBB that had an A+ rating and that was AAMCO Transmission Shop on 436 in Apopka. I had my rodeo towed there and once again had to pay well over $2000 to get the transmission rebuilt. Jason advised that once they got into my old tranmission, the other shop hadnt replaced over 1/2 the parts that they claimed to have replaced during the rebuild. These guys got it rebuilt and had me back on the road in less than 48 hours. Their customer service is outstanding and they kept good communication throughout the whole process. In my book, these guys are the cream of the crop when it comes to Transmission repair in Orlando. Would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone.

Just got my transmission completely redone on a 2006 Frontier at Aamco Apopka. Jason and his crew there were simply outstanding. I highly recommend them. While the job certainly was NOT cheap, I feel confident that the work was done right, the price was reasonable for the scope of repair, and that I can trust the service they provide. They were able quickly determine the problem, tell me how much it would cost and how long it would take to fix. They finished a day ahead of schedule, and when another minor problem with a coil pack came up the day after the transmission was done, they got me the part and installed it for free within an hour. Took my Jeep into this Aamco last week after two local mechanic shops youre unable to fix/ find the problem with my vehicle. After few days of them searching they found the problem and fixed it. THE BEST AUTO REPAIR EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!My work truck lost all radiator coolant late on a Friday evening, overheated, and when I went to fill it, all continued to leak out. I had AAA drop the truck off at AAMCO Apopka that night. I was contacted first thing Saturday morning to inform me of the problem and fix. The truck was back to me and running perfectly before noon. This was especially appreciated as I needed the truck for a job very early Monday morning. Thats real customer service! Many thanks to everyone there.
