We couldnt be more pleased with the work CS Tree Service did for us. They use a remote robotic grapple saw which is a marvel to watch in operation. They removed two large trees from our property, one right next to the house, and another deep in the backyard but that they easily reached with the boom arm from the base of our driveway. Steve and Chris and their entire crew are consummate professionals. Obviously know what theyre doing and had the trees out and stumps ground in about 3 hours. Highly recommend!

I had Steve come out and do an assessment of trees on my 4 acres that I had some concern with. I cannot express enough how thorough and honest he was about the trees. He could have easily said all the trees needed to be taken down but instead gave me his thoughts from the view of an experienced Arborist and wow, what a difference that made in how to approach the trees. Other folks I have out simply just want to cut down as many trees as possible, Steve had the perspective of what is a win-win for both me and sustaining healthy trees, it really was a great experience and Steve is very personable and a pleasure to talk to. CS Tree Services recently removed 2 large trees and ground the stumps. We were very pleased with the original job. When we needed them to come back and grind the stumps even more than is typically done (below grade for a hardscaping project), they responded quickly and went out of their way to help us on short notice. CS Tree service came out to my home today and took down two very large trees that had been damaged during the building of our home. I cannot brag on these guys enough. My front tree was easy took them maybe 15 minutes and this was a 25 foot tree. However my back tree which was about 35 foot tall was enclosed with a aluminum fence and was in a septic leech field and they had to take it down from a distance, all without damaging my lot, house and fence. They did it all without flinching. I am so happy with the work they did and would recommend them to anyone. Oh and there prices were amazing on top of it all. But I would never pick someone based on cost alone. All said 5 stars for CS tree service. Thank you!!

CS Tree Services is the real deal. I had some maple trees with sections of the crowns that were dying. Steven stopped by and gave me an honest assessment of the viability of the trees. He is clearly a trained and professional arborist because I learned more in 15 minutes listening to him than I had learned on Google. He also assessed the health of the other trees in my yard. Because the one unsalvageable maple is still quite young, I am able to take it down myself, so I didnt need to contract with CS for removal. I offered to pay for the consultation but Steven politely refused. With that gesture, CS just gained a client for life. If I ever do need professional removal, I am going to use CS Tree Services. The day of the removal was equally as impressive - on time, took no more than 2 hours (for a big job), used high-tech/cutting edge (ha) equipment, cleaned up like theyd never been there, and were friendly and informative. CS Tree Services saved our house after a massive oak tree (33-inch trunk/125 feet tall) fell on it during Hurricane Florence. They used one of their high-tech cranes, along with their highly skilled arborists, to dismantle it and prevented further damage to the structure. After the hurricane passed through, they had a crew onsite the next morning (a Saturday) and worked all day and into the night, in the wind and rain, to remove the tree.Only an expert team who is truly dedicated to saving life and property could have accomplished what they did. They said our job was one of the toughest they’ve handled, but they made it look easy. That’s how good they are!My wife and I were amazed, our neighbors were amazed, and passers-by who stopped to watch them work all marveled at their skills and professionalism. Their equipment is the latest technology, they work safely and efficiently, and they treat their customers with respect. In my opinion, CS Tree Services is the best in the business and I’m most thankful that they took care of us when we needed them most.

We watched them remove some trees from our neighbors yard and were so impressed that we called them a few days later to remove our dead trees. Let me start by saying the estimator who came by was extremely nice and friendly. He clearly knew his trees! Unfortunately, he quoted me $850. All of the four other quotes I got were less than $400, with two of them being $300. Im sure they do great work, but you can definitely find cheaper if you look around! Just do your homework!

CS Tree Services did an amazing job removing a lopsided, unhealthy tree that was growing too close to my house, as well as trimming several limbs from other trees. The team that came out worked with awesome precision and dropped the tree in chunks within a confined space. I had a great deal of confidence that my home and yard were in capable, safe hands as I watched their teamwork and skill on the job. Their gear and trucks were all well-maintained. Tree removal isnt necessarily cheap, but it must be done safely and CS Tree Services did a top-notch job for a very fair price. Highly recommend!

This is my second time using CS Tree service and as always they were very professional, especially during this time of masking due to COVID.

We hired CS Tree Services to remove a dead white oak by our driveway, and were extremely pleased with them! It was smooth sailing from start to finish: I received a prompt, next-day callback in response to the message I left, and we were able to schedule the initial consult and the removal job in a timely fashion. The arborist(s) were courteous, professional, and arrived precisely on time for both the consult and the removal. The efficiency with which they removed the tree was impressive: it took perhaps two hours max for what another company had indicated would be a full day job. Before they left, they cleaned up not only the debris from the removal itself, but also the numerous dead twigs that had accumulated on our drive from the tree, and a branch graveyard that wed been adding to around the side of the house. They didnt have to do that, and I was super impressed that they did. Finally, the price quoted to us was considerably more reasonable than some other estimates wed received.Overall, fantastic job! Well definitely be using Steve and Chris again for our tree needs.

These guys are the best tree service I’ve worked with. They’re extremely professional, they bring the right tools and make the whole thing look easy. They took down a big white oak that was right next to my house that sadly didn’t make it through the winter. They also took down a tall skinny pine tree and did a bunch of general clean up (logs, brush, ground some stumps, trimmed up a tree).Price wise they were very competitive, and after seeing the quality of work (and the grapple crane) I’m really glad I went with them.

I dont recommend this tree service company at all. They came out to our development of Spring Pines and cut down to the ground a whole row of mature Leyland Cypress trees. I called the office leaving a message, sent an email and used the Contact Us link to talk to either Chris or Steve about why these trees had to be cut down. They never responded back to me. They also left a giant pile of mulch that no one in the community seems interested in collecting or cleaning up. They should have taken it with them in my opinion. Very unprofessional.I was trying to get a better understanding on why these trees could not be pruned versus cut down. I also wanted to get their suggestions if our Board Of Directors ever wanted plant this area with new trees. As a homeowner that has lived in this development for 17 years, I feel the actions of our Board by ordering these trees cut down is yet another example of them not listening to community input and feedback.

I cannot say enough good things about the experience I have had with CS. I have a century-old white oak in front my house and it has a host of issues. We have been doing everything possible to get it back to health, but some serious trimming of dead limbs (big ones!) needed to be done. CS worked with me on timing to integrate their work with the other rehabilitation work we are doing. When they came out they did a quick and clean job of removing what needed to be, while being sensitive to leaving anything showing some life in place. The crew respected the tree.They have some pretty awesome equipment to take care of big and high trees with minimal disruption to the house, and very little risk of falling limbs. Everyone on the crew was focused, friendly, and their competence was apparent. CS will be my tree service company going forward.

These guys are awesome! We just recently used them, because we had used them in the past, and had a great experience. They are quick to respond to calls and come out, are professional and well priced. We were concerned about a dead tree that had cracked at the base, close to the house, and might fall. They were out that afternoon to give an estimate and found another dead pine next to the house--we have a heavily wooded lot! We also had them give an estimate for a large pine whose roots were imposing on our driveway. The estimate for all 3 trees was lower than competitors. They scheduled us right away and the whole process was less that 3 hours! The cleanup was great and you couldnt tell any work was done! We also got a large pile of mulch! Will use them for all our work!

Very pleased with this service. I called on a Monday, Steven came out to give me an estimate on Tuesday and sent me an estimate within the hour. On Wednesday, I told Steven I wanted to hire them, and they came out that morning to complete the work. Initially, Steven told me it might take a few weeks to get out and complete the work, but I told him I needed it done sooner than later, so they fit me in that day. Their price was equivalent to another service I got a quote from, and $50 less than a third service. Steven was very pleasant to talk with and responsive to my emails. While he was at the house for the estimate, he also gave me some advice on a tree I was concerned about. He told me it didnt need to come down, even though I thought maybe it did, which made me happy that he wasnt just trying to sell a service I didnt need. They seemed to do a good job with the stump grinding. The area is flat with a bunch of wood mulch, which is what I expected since I didnt ask them to take away the mulch. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience.

CS Tree service was great. The Arborist was knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. The pricing was pretty much in line with others, but having them remove via the crane was great (didnt make a mess of the lawn). I will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Great Service!Called in, got a fast appointment for an estimate, appointment kept on schedule, and I thought the price was very reasonable. The job was to drop two large pine trees in my front yard area. I was not there to witness the work, but my wife came home as they were performing their work and said it looked like a military maneuver - as one person was cutting, another was hauling logs and loading the truck, and everything just looked methodical like maybe theyve done this many times before. Nice.The clean up was unbelievable! Could not tell they were there except for the 4 or so of tree trunk left for both trees (I did not want stumps ground, but they still got the cut down much lower to the ground than I expected = good thing). Outstanding job.This was a quality job done by professionals at a fair price. Will use again, and will pass their name along in my Facebook groups for others.

Second time Ive used their services. They arrive promptly, do a thoroughly professional job of pruning and taking down trees that threaten the house. They haul off all debris and leave the yard looking as thought theyd never been there.

I called CS Tree Service to help me manage the trees on my large wooded lot specifically because owner Steven is one of few state certified arborists in the area. He also turned out to be a really nice guy as well. He identified the different types of trees for me and inspected them for health. He was also happy to make suggestions as about what types of trees would do best in the various areas of the lot. Since then his team -including crew supervisor Ryan - has done tree removal for me on two occasions and proved themselves to be very knowledgeable, safety conscious, and dedicated to getting the job done right. I rarely find a company so good at what they do, five stars doesnt seem enough.

We had CS Tree Services come to our home to quote removal of 5 trees. They provided us with one of the more affordable estimates of the 4 that we acquired. After telling them we wanted to proceed with the work they provided us with a scheduled date a few weeks out (per our request). They stayed on schedule and were able to complete the project on that day. The crew was fantastic, everyone was very friendly (we have a 4 1/2 year old who was fascinated with the process and the crew members talked with him quite a bit) and the clean-up was fantastic. We contacted CS about removing some large diseased trees from our heavily wooded yard, as well as trimming a number of limbs overhanging our roof. Steven was quick to come out and give us a thorough, detailed and reasonable estimate. (We solicited 4 estimates for the job.)Before we could schedule the work, Hurricane Matthew sent a large white oak from our neighbors yard crashing over on our roof. The tree was not stable on the roof and presented a somewhat precarious situation. CS responded quickly to my call. Steven came out the next day (Sunday) to survey the situation and Chris and their amazing crew showed up the next day and went to work.This was an incredible team of professionals. With a huge crane, a bucket truck, a chipper shredder, dump truck and bobcat, these guys worked like a well-oiled machine. In six hours, they expertly removed three large trees (one mostly dead and unstable and one propped against the house with 40 or so feet of branches lying on our roof). They cut and hoisted huge -- tree-sized -- limbs, threading a needle up and over the house and through a maze of trees and power lines and down onto the street where their crew made quick work of cutting and shredding all the debris.They beautifully protected our landscaping, driveway and even some sculpture. They picked up every twig and blew off the roof and driveway, leaving barely a trace that they had even been there. The whole crew was professional and courteous. They do what they say they are going to do. The latest example involved a tree hanging over a driveway with a luxury car immediately below (that could not be moved). The tree was removed efficiently with not a scatch on the car. A previous tree problem required the use of their 100 ft. mobile crane, in our difficult to enter and extremely narrow driveway! Chris and Steve at CS Tree Services are excellent! They cut and removed a tree for us that was damaged by storm and was a threat to the house and our tenants. Chris provided me with a free estimate, and when we engaged their services, they were quick and professional. When the job was completed, they gave me the option of having all of the material removed or they would cut the trees into firewood sized logs and stack them there on site to use as firewood. The smaller branches would be cut into chips which could be used as mulch or also removed. Great price, excellent service, very professional. If you need an Arborist or simply tree removal, I highly recommend giving Chris and CS Tree Services a call.

CS Tree Service Inc. is helping our church take care of approximately 20 old trees, and they are old trees. Changes to our church grounds had caused a few of them to become stressed. CS has fed these 3 trees from the base and thru the roots and they are all showing signs of making a comeback. They also pruned back all of our trees, removed fallen branches that had become wedged, and removed branches that had grown over our buildings. Plan on having them come out once a year from now on to help us monitor their growth and overall health. There are not enough nice words in the dictionary to let you know how please Apex UMC is with CS Tree Service Inc.

These guys are awesome! Took down and grinded 4 stumps that were Bartlett pear trees, Took down and grinded the stumps of 5 crepe myrtles. Also, pruned a River Birch. All of this in less then 3 hours!! They cleaned up beautifully, and I could not be happier! Hire this company and you will not be disappointed.

Just in case you dont want to read all the details, here is the bottom line: CS TREE SERVICES, INC., IS AWESOME! DO NOT HESITATE TO HIRE THEM!Steven Kurtz, came out to our house not once, but again at my request, to discuss all of our needs to clear an area for installation of a pool. But, while here, we walked around and discussed some additional pruning, etc. I asked him to come back because we were concerned about a couple of large oak trees that we really wanted to spare and he gave us some excellent advice and we made a few changes to the original plan. Once our HOA approved our project, I let him know and he scheduled two days for our project.On the scheduled day, a crew of about 7 arrived first thing in the morning along with a large crane, a chipping machine, a truck to haul away logs, some smaller pieces of equipment, and tools including safety gear and communication devices. It was clear right from the start that each member of this team knew what their role was and played it well. Impressively well. My husband and I watched from the deck as one of the crew was hoisted up to the treetop by the crane, attached the tree to the crane, then lowered back to the ground to saw the tree off its roots. Then the crane lifted the trees one by one up over our shrubs and crape myrtles to the road where the treetops were fed into the chipper and the logs cut and loaded onto the truck. While some were engaged in this activity, other crew members went about the business of pruning, reducing, and removing other trees and shrubs. Near the end of the clearing we identified 4 additional trees to be removed and they took care of it.All of this went on throughout the day, at times during periods of rain...and sometimes the rain was more than a light rain! We thought maybe they would quit and return the next day as 2 days were originally scheduled for this job, but they just kept on working. They only took one short lunch break. The job was done in one day, and done exceedingly well.One holly tree at the front of our house was reduced in height and did not look very good...aesthetically speaking. We thought maybe it still needed some shaping that was overlooked...which, given the amount of work, the weather, and the location of this tree, was completely understandable. I emailed a photo of this tree to the owner and he replied (quickly as always) that the tree would now fill out at the top and ultimately look better. But, the next morning, a crew was in the area and, because they saw my email, they stopped by to check with us to make sure we were happy with everything. That, in our opinion, is the best customer service we have ever experienced...and weve dealt with many, many contractors over the years.These people are highly professional, friendly, and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone and CS Tree Services will be our go-to for any and all tree needs.

CS Tree Services did a terrific job of removing many trees from our property. Some were problematic, requiring either a crane or precision felling, and they handled the task with ease. I felt they were fairly priced for the difficulty they faced, were timely and operated with care for my property.I was especially pleased with the support given me by CS Tree Services in dealing with my HOA. They are also certified arborists and were able to help us identify which of our trees were problems and then help us convince the HOA that was true--not an easy job.
