When does Carys store open? I do not like the service of this store. they dont clean the interior well. I have been 4 times and only once has it been good. I have paid an unlimited ful.

Extremely convenient with access to vacuums, cleaners, and other basic supplies, but really I go because going through the carwash is actually fun!!

My car is brand new. I was just tired of looking at the bug juice on my windshield and the front of my car. I asked for a simple wash. A wipe down of the door jams, front windshield clean and the car vacuum well. I watch the gentlemen throw my rubber mats around. It caught my attention by the noise. You don’t handled someone’s property as such! He waived he was almost done…. I came over and tip prematurely. I still had to advise him of the door jams, his hand and arm oil marks on the vehicle and just things that were entirely noticeable. He was reserved and respectful. However, another guy walks up and asked… everything okay. I inquired about what package is needed to properly clean the door jams and a thorough wipe down. He said well if you look out for us we will look out for you. Mind you, I tipped prematurely. I made him aware. However, when he made that statement, he literally lost my business permanently. I’m a business owner. I will never make it okay or understood that my employees are to go over and beyond based on being tipped or acknowledged. People tip, because you exceeded their expectations. People do not tip because you’re looking for extra compensation to do your job. I was being lazy. I should have stuck to my normal “Shine and Style Detail”!

When I first came here, my experience was not the best. I shared that with the local manager, Alex Gómez, and he took personal interest in assuring every customer was happy, who came to this location. He offered for me to come back and him personally detail my truck, inside/outside/the works. Being a small business owner and my companies motto being “We Believe in Treating You Like Family” made me realize he cares about his customers like I do my own. Like we are all family. Thank you Alex! You stepped up and provided exceptional service! I recommend everyone come and bring their vehicle here to give you and your team the opportunity to treat them like family!

The staff were professional and thorough. I even saw them clean the underside of the trunk, which I would not have thought of if I were doing it myself. Their hustle was admirable, even as the heat of the day set in. Will most definitely return!

Loved the automatic car wash and self serve cleaning area where cleaner and clean towels were always available. Last several times no cleaner, no cloths and poor service. Wont be going back.

Washed my car here and accidentally left my passenger floor mat. Didn’t realize it for several days. Came back and they had it waiting for me. Great people!

I paid over $70 to have my car washed and detailed prior to selling it to a picky relative - I never get it detailed and normally vacuum/wipe out myself. I had to come home and completely re-wash the car by hand. The amount of bugs left on the front grate looked like the car had not even been washed. Spills inside were completely missed! Only needed a wipe over them to get them to come off — barely any effort needed but not given. I wasted an hour of my time running to get my car cleaned in detailed. Waste of money. Had to come home and spend over an hour in the 80 degree heat rewashing it. Next time I’ll save the time and money and just do it myself. Extremely disappointed

I have been going here for the basic wash for awhile, today I finally did detailing. My dog rides with me everywhere so it was in bad shape. Gomez is the new manager there and he did a great job! Above and beyond really, I couldnt have asked for better service. Will be going back for more full service soon, thanks Gomez!

Ive gone with a friend several times and since their new staff manager, Ive noticed excellent service and professional atmosphere. Feeling convinced to become a member once I get my car back. The entire staff starting with the Manager Alex are all very professional and super friendly. Wonderful experience.

Really cool employees and they did a great job vacuuming the inside. They did leave some sap on my windshield but that stuff is very hard to get off.

I purchased the simonize wash and wax package which was supposed to include the wheel brite wash. My wheels werent cleaned and the simonize tire product want even close to what I would expect from a competitive product like armor all. Im disappointed with my experience. Also, with a new car wash across the street, I would expect better service.

Unlimited car washes changed without notice. You could have your car service inside and out for an extra fee. This was the norm for 4 years. Now new manager, and they seem to incorporate their rules of convenience. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE.

Upgraded for cup holders cleaned and polished, I cleaned car out beforehand but missed one hard candy in cup holder, which unfortunately was still there afterward along with all the weeks worth of crumbs. Never ever wiped out!!!!! I asked my 6’ tattooed husband why he didn’t say anything when he received the vehicle and he said it was not a guy he would want to start trouble with. ☹️

Do not I repeat, do not use the car wash if you want your car clean. The jets have no pressure and the equipment is antiquated. Wanted to vacuum my car, but couldnt because the vacuum was broken. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

Do a good job on suv and spot correct anything that was missed. Only downer... always leave with a streaky windshield often not noticed until driving into the sun

I had a fantastic experience with these guys, they did way more than I expected. I had a gift card, so drive down from Durham to the Apex location, and only went because I had a hard time seeing at night due to my windows fogging up & my own attempts to clean them were unsuccessful. I dropped it off & went to get lunch with my family nearby and told them I really just cared about the windows; I have a dog with short thick hair and honestly I just accepted her hair has interlaced with the carpet and is now a permanent part of the car after several of my own attempts to remove it with a shop vac.Two hours later I return and was absolutely blown away, the inside was amazing and basically hair-free. I have no idea how they did that and I seriously underpaid them for the service I got; I gave them all the cash I had as a tip. My wife is going to be going there soon with her car & will be bringing much more as a thank you from me. Ill definitely make the drive down to them next time & have way more cash on hand when I go.And yes, the windows were great too.

Ive been using this place for years and it is great. The guys are always friendly. The automatic wash does a great job. Its not perfect, because nothing short of hand washing will be perfect, but your car will look good and it doesnt take a long time. The unlimited with the standard vacuum is a great plan. They are not going to deep clean the inside, but they get it cleaned up and you cant beat the value. You can vacuum and dry the car yourself if youre into that. There is a brand new location across the street. I went there once for comparison and didnt feel they were as friendly and the exterior clean didnt feel as fresh. Last, but most important, if you get any level of detail, tip those guys. Tips arent optional and they deserve it!

This place has always taken very good care of my vehicles. The staff is always very attentive to detail and treats my car as if it were their own. Always greeted at the paystation and assitance offered. Automated exterior wash does great, but if it ever misses anything, the detail employees get it taken care of. Interior detail services are always on point. Best place in Apex for full service or self service car care!

I bought a monthly detailing package because I thought it was a good investment. Alex did a great job explaining the packages to me and helping me find a package that met my needs. However, I’m underwhelmed with the detailing results to say the least. It doesn’t look as though the interior was vacuumed not wiped down. Very disappointing. I’m going to try it for the rest of this month and cancel if the results are not much better on subsequent visits.

They shut down the Cary location as soon as Covid started and kept pulling money from my account. They had no signs saying when they would open and both apex and Cary locations voicemails were full so no one be able to leave a voicemail and they never picked up the phone to talk to customers.

You can pick the degree of cleaning you desire. If you want the basic wash its going to cost you about five bucks. That includes unlimited vacuum. And theres plenty of vacuums for you to use. looks like most people bring their tire shine and spray wax and do it right there at the vacuum stall.If you go at the right time of day, you can find some shaded areas as well.🌞

I have used this place countless times over the past four years but today the employee outside disrespectfully yelled at me to turn my wheels. It’s not an emergency - employees should speak to people with respect and not assume we are experts at maneuvering our cars through a car wash. Whoever is working outside today at 3 pm - management needs to do some training on how do talk to customers because it’s clear there is a lack of training here and that falls on the business owner and manager

Well priced and great service. We had some bird droppings and/or tree sap covering the hood of the car. Gentlemen working offer to run us through a second time if it was still residue. Second time was a charm!

Do not waste your money! I got my daughter an interior detail for her birthday and they did not even wipe out the cupholders! $99 and I had to wipe out the cupholders with a clorox wipe when she got home. This was suppose to be a detail and she said they only spent 30 minutes on the car. Unfortunately, she did not say anything--only 21; Mom will though! I wanted to give everyone a heads-up. I had been to the Cary location many times and was quite pleased but unfortunately they closed. We did not receive the same experience at the Apex location.** Update 11/15/20. I called this morning and spoke with the manager. I explained what happened and he offered for my daughter to bring the car back in. She did and they wiped out the interior, polished the wheels and vacuumed the backseat.

You can find a better place to detail your car or do it on your own.

Service decent enough, but operates with some very questionable business practices. After closing the Cary location during COVID, the owner has continued to charge those customers utilizing this sister-business. Non-responsible to calls and emails, and suggest former customers take a look at their bills and file appropriate fraud charges. Get your money back.

I paid for a full service interior and exterior. The employee working on my car finished in 5 min. I told him what I paid for and her chastised me for parking in the wrong lane! He proceeded to Armor All only part of my car then had another employee tell me my car was done. I lifted the back hatch and told them none of that had been cleaned. He then told me it was my fault for not opening the hatch to begin with. He let me drive away without thoroughly cleaning it. I emailed the owner about it and he ignored my email. Needless to say, I will not be back. Horrible customer service!

Got the full interior car detailing service. The floor mats looked good but Im pretty sure the seats werent shampooed. There were also still easily removable dirt stains on the doors. Back seat still had dirt everywhere as though it had not been vacuumed. For $80 was not what I expected.

They have great deals if you like to get the monthly unlimited washes. They advertise High pressure vacuums but half of them dont work, would really like it if they fixed them so that it doesnt take as long to vacuum

Recently took my Jeep Wrangler there that needed some major cleaning after a Jeep event. Service was great - guys worked hard to clean inside and outside. I have 2.5 lift with 35 tires + Rhino Roof rack and it fit perfectly. Max clearance is 8ft for the car wash.

I’ve never had anything less than a stellar experience every time I come here! It’s been almost a year now and I get the $39 detail package, resulting in my car looking GREAT inside and out. Haven’t gone anywhere else to get my car washed and detailed since!

Just an okay carwash. Better than the one in cary but expect just a wipe down. Not a very detailed wash

Had full service done. Outside of the car was immaculate. Inside the rugs were cleaned and shampooed and looked like new. Seats did not look shampooed. Armrests didnt look washed and I could lick my finger and rub off some of the dirt so I doubt they were ever wiped with a damp cloth. Ill try somewhere else next time.

I took my car here this morning to be detailed. Paid $100 plus a tip. I wont ever go back again. I will let the pictures tell the story

Ive been coming hear for a couple years, and they consistently provide top-notch customer service. No matter which employee is detailing my car, they treat my Juke like its their own.They have also just upgraded all of their vacuums, and added more spots, air hoses, new microfiber cloths, and even expanded their hours.Try it out, you will not be disappointed!

I paid for full service for my SUV and the guys spent more time looking at there phones than actually getting the job done. After 1 hour 40 min they waived me over saying it was done but I saw that they had only waxed the front half of the vehicle. I had to ask them to do the rest and the top. I can tell they thought I was not watching before.After waiving me over a second time I noticed many places still had wax residue. It was taking so long and I was so disappointed that I asked them for a clean cloth and started wiping it down myself for about 5 min.When I left the car still had bug stains in the front (and I promise I did not have that many to begin with so they should have cleaned them up)I guess 100 bucks does not get you good service any more.

This is a great place to get your car/vehicle washed! Helpful and very friendly staff, free use of towels, vacuums, glass cleaner, and air hose to make your car stand-out. On one of their very reasonably priced monthly options, I am there at least 5-6 times a week at no extra charge. Stop in at the Apex location, as for TJ, and tell them George sent you. You wont be disappointed!

I take my van here regularly. Basic car wash $5, vacuums, towels and cleaner are free. They many levels of cleaning, including complete detailing. Ive never had a problem here.

Best car wash deal in town. Recent upgrades such as the thin nozzle vacuum on the stations and the automatic car carpet-mat cleaning machine greatly improves the cleaning post car wash. Being only $5, I dont know why youd go anywhere else in town for a quick wash.

I love this place for the free vacuums! I go with my little son and we each use on. Its a great way to get the car clean...I had to bring this rating down to 3 stars because I went there today right before 5 oclock and they wouldnt let me in the car wash. Theyre supposed to be open until 6. Disappointing.

New in the area, I was looking for a quality option. Paid for the complete package and windshield was still dirty after they delivered to me, they didnt vacuum the trunk, a lot of areas with dust...Not sure if it was because there was a waiting line or they are like this every time...

Ok I dont want to bash these guys. They were nice.But doesnt detail mean what it says?I have a work truck that hasnt been cleaned in forever. A half gallon of chocolate milk broke in the truck, spilling most of its contents.They close at 7pm and I got there about 6:30pm. Told the attendant what had happened. $60 later I roll through the wash and park in a bay.7:00 sharp they were done. I asked if they got the milk out and they said yes, that they couldnt smell it anymore. They also said they sprayed something and that would help.Get home 10 minutes later and start smelling milk.Checked and found by pressing a white towel on the spot that the CHOCOLATE milk was still in the carpet.

Dont waste your money on the detail service. I purchased the $39 service and was the worst I have ever seen. The outside was what I expected which was fine. The inside was horrible. They didnt wipe it down completely and left streaks on the dash and doors. Vacuum was good except they never touched the back of my van. They half assed the windows and left streaks, didnt wipe the mirrors and left dirt and lent on the dash. Seems like the kids working there arent motivated to do a good job probably because there is just a tip box that they all split. Dont waste your money here.

I received a car wash and detail from Carolina Express Car Wash and everyone did a phenomenal job on my truck. I highly recommend you go see Tj and his crew. I have been to several car washes but Carolina Express Car Wash in Apex is without a doubt the best one Ive been to. Im not going anywhere else.

Paid for the $20 full package wash without the detailing afterwards. While I was using the free air pressure cleaner and vacuums I noticed that my car was still dirty, also the vacuums were low pressure and had a lot of trouble picking anything up at all. When I got home I inspected my car to see further how dirty it was. It looks like I basically got hosed down with water. There was still dirt and road salt all over my car, the top of my car didn’t even get touched and was so dirty that when I dragged my finger across it my finger turned black, and when I looked under my car I noticed that I didn’t even get the undercarriage wash that I was supposed to get. I have dirty water marks all over my car now, which appears to look like they recycle the dirty water that falls off of the other cars to rinse your car off, however, I can’t confirm that. Just for perspective my car wasn’t even muddy or anything, it just had road salt on it from the recent snow and ice storms and it had even rained the night before so it washed away most of it before I even brought it in to be washed. Overall, I was not given what I paid for and what I did get was worse than if I just took a hose and sprayed down my car in the driveway. If I could give this place no stars I would. Do not go here!

I absolutely love the unlimited plan at Carolina Auto Spa. Its super convenient to swing by anytime I want to get my truck washed and not have to think about paying anything. Plus my kiddo loves the wash :) Bonus points for the free vacuums.

I like the Express Car Wash okay, but its not enough to keep me coming back. The two biggest issues I have with the car wash are the lack of good vacuums and soap/water left on my car. The vacuums are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE at this place. They have no suction and dont suck up hair, dirt, sand, or leaves. My car is usually pretty clean on the inside, but I vacuum it at my house because their vacuums are useless. I have been to several car washes, and these vacuums are the worst Ive encountered. In addition, the soap and water are not all the way off, so I have to dry my car with my own towels (their towels are not soft and will scratch your car). The actual wash is decent, but sometimes, the tire shine isnt applied evenly. Last time, the people forgot to scrub the front of my car with bug cleaner even though I paid for it - $15 total. That was my last time visiting Express Car Wash.

Awful, dont waste your money or time here!American Pride down the street on Sunset Lake Rd. is open 24 hrs and has 15 locations in the RTP and surrounding area. The America Pride Car wash packages are more affordable to boot!I was a customer for 1 year and a half and the washes were not very good, their automatic services were down and the system would not allow you in without going through managers and was such a hassle.I will not be returning to Express Car Wash ever again!

Watch out. If you could choose no stars and still write a review, I would. I have used their wash for a long time because its conveniently located. I even have maintained 2 monthly passes for some time. Unfortunately, they dont seem to be able to figure out how to manage billing and client communications. In stead of getting in touch with you when the credit card you have on file expires, they wait a few months and then, shut off your service. My fault, I know, but I just failed to notice that I wasnt being charged. The problem comes in when you need to contact someone because they wont let you get your car washed any more. The guy at the wash hands you an email address and says write a note and I cant give you a phone number. Wasnt surprised when, after a week, I hadnt received a reply. After trying the listed number several times, I finally got to a person. Lucky me, it was the same person who told me to write a note. This time he promises to pass along my cancellation request to the owner directly AND gives me his number. I hang up and call the owner. I said Mr. Murphy (his video is on the homepage of the website) and the person said no, this is his son. I said OK, I need to speak with Mr. Murphy about my account with his car wash, at which point the person who said he was his son a moment ago, tells me I have the wrong number. Thats enough for me. Somehow I bet they will find a way to charge me now that Ive cancelled.

I pulled up in my truck... with fast pass... the gate wouldnt open... no big deal this happens every other time... no big deal I mean my time isnt worth anything... young kids comes up to me days theyve been having problems with system... I say no worries... expecting him to just open gate for me... he comes back says... hey manager says to come back at 12 thats when Adam greys in and he can fix the system... I say go get your manager assuming this is a bad decision by a young employee... nope this 55 year old or greater in age guy comes out... says hey come back at 12... I say hey no open the gate I paid 30 bucks for free washes all month... he said he cant do anything for me... I say OK no big deal refund my money Ill take my business elsewhere... he says he cant do that... I say OK Ill sit right here until you unfu@$ yourself and open this gate... he says he cant help me I say OK I cant move then... he then opens the gate and says he isnt supposed to do this and the system is all screwed up... I say I dont care whats wrong with your system I paid and its your job to honor your contract... he says I need to still come back later to fix my account... I say no thats your job to fix my account... Ill come back later to cancel my account... I know go to American Pride Car wash open 24 hours a day, cheaper, and 15 locations Raleigh wide.... this was convenient but I will never even look at this place again... if your an efficient individual that has common sense you wont come here... owner doesnt care, old manager doesnt care... only Adam cares... not enough for me... the quicker this place goes out of business the quicker we can get a good business in this spot...

The best choice if you need a fast carwash or if you want a detail cleaning. Often I used the vacuum after wash and make some details with the spray and rags (available in the vacuums area) When I have time. My kids loved the lights inside of the carwash machine.I recommend this place.

The first few times I came here they did fabulous. However, the next 2 or 3 times we came they did less than half of what I payed for. The mats were done very well, but you could see the console and the rest of the car had not been cleaned completely. This worried me because I did pay $44 for the WHOLE car to be cleaned. There were 4-5 guys working on my car, and it took them longer than usual. Im very disappointed.

I opted for the $35 package. It included the car wash, a full vacuum, cleaning the interior, cleaning the windows inside and out. They did a poor, poor job of cleaning the interior, the windows, and vacuuming. The floors looked like they had not been touched. They didnt even put on the tire shine. When I complained to the manager he claimed no responsibility for himself or his staff. He only offered to sell me a more expensive package. I bought a more expensive package as they start at $9.99. Why would I pay even more when they couldnt even do what was included in the $35 package? He was rude and smug. I will NEVER go there again!

Wash and wax was ok. The wheels and lower parts of the car didnt get as clean as I thought they should have for a $19 wash and wax but I really like the fact they have a free vacuum and towels to help finish the job.

Terrible! for $40 each of the two guys only cleaned his 1/3 of the car, leaving the middle (including console, screen, cup holders) dirty. the back seats were folded down. not only did they not bother lifting them up and vacuuming floor on the 2nd and 3rd row, one of the guys did not vacuum most of the seat in the back. there is visible dirt spread around from the cargo I was hauling. the door pockets were untouched. the front of the car is still covered with bugs. as it turned out, i was supposed to prep the car before going into the tunnel (full service car wash??), but nobody told me that. theoretically, i could go back and ask them to finish cleaning the car. but id rather pay $100 to a detail guy who will get the car to look good without me having to watch him, than go back and waste my time with these people.

I got the $18 wash to get rid of snow and salt debris from the weekend storm, didnt need interior cleaning. OK on most of car but top and trunk were still dirty. Im not terribly impressed. Had to spend 10 minutes at home finishing the job, which is what I had hoped to avoid since I cant reach the top (short female). Wasnt any better than when I just squirt the hose on the car for 3 minutes at home. Disappointed.

The mangers ans employees are always attentive, quick, professional, and accommodating. My husband and I are extremely cautious about car care....and for the past two years.... Carolina Expresd Car Wash has been our car wash home.

Detail crew was subpar at best. There were streaks all over the vehicle from half hazard wiping, break dust on my ribs and smudges on every window. Def not worth the 50 bucks.

If you signup for the basic monthly plan at around 10 bucks, you can take you car in as many times as you like. They have free vacuums, window cleaner and towels available after you drive through the wash.

The service was great. I had a problem with payment and the boss came right over to help me to get it figured out and on my way thou the wash. I got the inside done, it was clean when I got back inside the car. Thank you all at the wash.
