The staff here is all wonderful and very nice. Ive never left here with a manicure or pedicure that I was less than over the moon about. If you dont know what you want on a particular day, they always make wonderful suggestions. If youre going for a pedicure, splurge for the deluxe. The various scrubs and hot towels that they use are very worth it! Ive attached some photos of some different things Ive had done at Lavish just from my camera roll.

The most lively salon I’ve ever been to. Everyone was laughing and chatting with each other. I received a HIGH quality, no chip manicure. Two and a half weeks later and still not one chip. I am a picker when I’m stressed, and I have tried picking at my polish to no avail (which is actually great for my nail strength and keeping my manicure pretty). Definitely not the case with other salons I’ve been to. I can’t wait to go back!

The environment is pretty, and staff was friendly. They probably need more employees as if u didnt have an appointment you werent getting service. There was one point where 1 employee was working on 2 or 3 manicures at one time. I had a good experience and my pedicure came out nice.

By far my favorite nail salon! Everyone is always friendly and remembers the people who come in frequently. Its not quiet like other salons Ive been to because everyone chats. The technique and skill of each technicians is outstanding.

Went yesterday with my mom to get our nails done and I couldnt be happier with how they turned out! I never go to nail salons so the whole experience was all very new to me and I enjoyed every bit of it. The staff is very friendly and the inside of the salon looked beautiful. I would definitely go again.

This place is adorable and the women are very nice. They did a great job with my mani pedi both times. I have small thin nails and usually get hurt by manicurist. They were gentle and didnt use those electric files that usually cut my cuticles up. Hot stone leg massage on my legs was nice. I will book my no-chip every two weeks here.

I went in to get a dip manicure and pedicure. A student did my pedicure and they charged me $20 not $27 and the price didn’t mater because I just wanted a good pedicure. I then got the dip manicure and it was not done well my nails were bumpy and didn’t even last a week I went back to fix it and I waited 1 hour to fix two nails they did a terrible job at fixing it I told the woman who was helping me and she really didn’t care. I’ve been doing my nails for 15 years and have never experienced something like this they overcharged me and did a terrible job for nails that didn’t even last two weeks. Please go somewhere else that will actually do a good job and care about the services they provide.

Friends/neighbors recommended so I visited. While I applaud embracing apprenticeships, I prefer to be informed that the tech is not experienced before sitting AND not paying full price for a pedicure performed by apprentice... thanks

I felt like my nails were very rushed. The lady that did my nails was very nice; however, one nail is crooked and I left with 5 different cuts on my cuticles, each being on a different finger. I will not be going back to this salon.

Lai (the guy there) did an amazing job, everything I asked for and was super gentle! (Natural length, dip, coffin shape)

I made an appointment for nails and a pedicure. I showed up and the owner said she didn’t have us booked. Then stated she didn’t know what to do for us. Very unprofessional to say the least. They were rude another time I went in for nails but let it go bc I figured the lady was having an off day.

First of all I need to state that the man who did my nails did a decent job.... but charged me $40 for a fill in and to be insulted for 45 minutes. I am customer facing at work and I could not BELIEVE some of the comments this guy was making to me while getting my nails done. He also spent a lot of time bashing a nearby salon in which I will gladly go back to because they treated me with respect and care. I WILL NOT be returning to this nail salon ever again. I cannot believe they charge this much for a fill in and have this guy on payroll. Unbelievable customer service. If I could give less than one star, I would.

Relocated to Illinois from Mississippi and finding a nail salon has been hectic. The ladies at Lavish Nails are awesome especially Jodi she made my experience worthy of leaving a review. She is an absolute perfectionist and quite the comedian. She does her job well and with the service she provided today she just gained a loyal customer 😘

This is my second time coming to Lavish Nails in Antioch. I made an appointment and I forgot what time it was for (too much going on) so I was there over an hour early! They accommodated my error and got me in to get my nails done early shout out to an amazing job done by Marty! See you in 2 weeks girl! Sorry Jodi you were at a cheering competition but hopefully you will be there on the 28th! I received lashes by Nicki and she did an amazing job and is so wonderful and sweet as well. I am serious when I tell you that Lavish is the place to go for nails and lashes and the time flies because you are laughing and relaxing the entire time. These ladies and gentlemen treat you like family and are so kind and caring. They make you feel right at home. The work that they do is outstanding and the wait, well it is expected since the place is great and the work speaks for itself! Techs did not understand me. I asked multiple times what types of pedicures they had. No response so I got a basic. I would have paid more for a spa had they responded to my simple inquiry.I tried to explain what I needed on my nails. He didn’t understand me. Then proceeded to talk about it negatively when He thought I had left the salon. Terrible customer service. I will never be back here.

Thank you June for fixing my nails for my special day. I went to Mingle Nails in Round Lake Beach to get my nails done and they totally messed them up. They were very thick and very wide. Just terrible. Went to June @ Lavish Nails and she was able to fix them and make them beautiful for my special day.

If I could give this establishment less than one star I would. Basing it only that it’s a cute place and whomever answered the phone to give me an appt time was very friendly. As a first time customer, the (male) nail tech (I didn’t get his name) was unbelievablely rude, and antisocial. Very poor customer service. I normally go to Queen Nails in Antioch, but couldn’t get in last minute so I had to go elsewhere. Although I can usually get an appt at the last minute through Queen Nails. I called Lavish and was quite happy that I was able to get an appt time within a few hours. I told the woman that I needed a fill and had a chipped corner on one nail. The woman who answered the phone was very kind and gave me an appt time for 1:00 in the afternoon (this was a Monday.) Ehhhh, you’d think early Monday afternoon shouldn’t be very busy. I arrived at 12:55. The tech that greeted me (whom I believed sounded like the nice woman whom I spoke with- her station is (was) right behind the desk as you walk in) She asked my name and said it would be a bit because they were running a little behind. No biggie I thought. From what I could see, there were 5-6 techs either doing nails or pedis, all busy at the time. I figured on a 10-15 min wait. It was 1:25 before I was finally called back. The (male) tech didn’t introduce himself after I was seated, nor did he greet me at first. It was about 30 seconds to a minute before he only asked how I was. That was ALL he said other than if I wanted to keep the length up until he told me to go wash my hands. I don’t really care if the nail tech is talkative or not, but at least introduce yourself and greet me with a friendly attitude. All the time during the process he rudely directed my hands one direction or the next. Being I am accustomed to my normal nail tech’s routine, Lee from Queen Nails, this other man’s process was completely opposite of what I am use to. Not that I am criticizing this man’s process, I am not familiar to his format which I think was annoying him for whatever reason due to his rude hand direction- practically flinging my hands when he moved from hand to hand. I chose light pastel colors, with the ring fingers of each hand a pink while all the others are a light aqua, topping the pink with sparkles. All the colors required two (routine) coats with two (routine) top shine coats as well as the sparkled coat(s) on the ring finger. Unbeknownst to me, I did accidentally knick a pinky and ring finger while waiting to dry in the UV dryer; which was fixed with a simple touch of polish- no need to redo them. I am paying you for a service, don’t act as if I am a bother. After he was finished, he said, “You’re a hot mess, a chipped nail, light colors that needed several coats, and you knicked them.” He charged me $40. From what I believe, this is pretty much the going price of a full set application? I left him a $8 tip only because it did seem to be a lot of work, and it SEEMED to be a job well done. Although, as a people-person he is NOT! Within this past week of rude guy’s service, I have broke 3 nails. With nothing I knowingly did of my own accord. I just looked down for whatever reason to see a broke nail 3 different times. Now, I don’t know if my set of nails are “old” and all need to be taken off and a new set applied or if it was just his application?? It’s hard to say. But I have had this particular set on for 4 months and have had 3 of his break within my service apps. He also didn’t correctly or evenly file the sides of my thumb nail (coffin style) so my thumb nail appears to be crooked. I am so aggravated with the service he provided me!! I can only afford to get my nails done every 3 weeks. My husband keeps telling me to go back, make a complaint and see if I can either get a refund or a different technician’s service at no charge. Quite honestly, I don’t want to return to a business that is solely based on providing public services staffing someone of his level of discourteousness. The best advertisement is word of mouth.

I did not like this place, I went here once and they were nice and then when I came back a second time I came at 2pm and they were busy which I understood and they told me to make an appointment for 330 pm which I did and when I came back at 330 pm I had to wait for 15 minutes and ended up walking out the man who works there is rude and I think it is very unprofessional to make an appointment and not keep it. I understand they are busy but they took another customer before me who did not have an appointment and made me wait how very rude I will never go here again.

Believe it or not, just started going here considering its right by my work. So happy with the service!! Great people who work and run the place!

I witnessed the nail tech Dune yelling at a woman to just pick a color. She was patronizing and so unbelievably mean. The woman apologized but shouldn’t have. I was disgusted snd won’t be back. I hope that poor woman doesn’t go back either. Unacceptable.

If you’re looking for a nail salon who takes care of their customers and appreciates there business, go somewhere else.I thought maybe with the new name and new remodeling I would give this salon a try but the staff here is always too busy and understaffed. They over used the buffing block til your cuticles are rubbed raw and sore and they over use the pumice stone for your pedicure and don’t even use a scrub.My fingers were left sore and my nails were left uneven in shape and the cole was also uneven and bumpy not smooth like they should be.

I went in a few days ago as a walk in, and I was sadly disappointed. I DMd who I was told is the owner on Instagram and here’s what I said, “Hey Gena!! So I came in [July 5] probably by the time you see this it’ll be [July 6], as a walk in with [someone she knows personally], somewhere around 4ish to get acrylics done and I’m not happy with them. Your staff was incredibly nice, no doubt, and I completely understand that he took me in as a walk in, and he had an actual appointment right after me, but I’m just really not okay with how my nails turned out. But I didn’t want to be that type of person. The nail polish was old, so it’s very streaky and the physical nails are so incredibly thick and uneven in some areas, and even after all of that gel, some of my nails feel insecure and he missed a lot of areas where clean up could have been done. So I was wondering if there was any chance that I could stop in and get them fixed [July 6] or [July 7],” and I didn’t get any response, so I’m kind of disappointed especially after seeing how great of a job is normally done there. Like I said, I didn’t want to seem like a problematic person, but I paid $50 for what I got and I don’t think that’s okay. I don’t think I’m going to go back :/

I normally don’t rate nail salons I visit. This nail salon has to be the worst one I’ve been to. The women there seemed to not comprehend English being that I repeated myself 4 times telling them I was there for a no chip mani. The lady doing my nails seemed to be new and over filed my nails. She didn’t even clean the cuticles and kept staining my finger with nail polish. Not to mention one of them had a foul mouth and dropped the f bomb a few times. Overall unprofessional, unorganized, and under qualified to be in that line of business.

Didnt even know this place was here until I was recommend to from a friend. Busy establishment. I had a pedicure....my second one ever ! Lai did a wonderful pedicure. The chairs massage u while ur feet are being pampered. Its been 3 weeks and my feet are still soft and the nails are still beautifully polished. I will definitely go back and will ask for Lai again.

Ive never encountered an establishment run by a more boujee rude group of individuals. Anytime you go in there theyre too busy to take you and the 4th time I thought Id just try and the guy thought it was funny to mock me in the midst of asking if they had availability to get a nice laugh from the customers there. A couple of years ago Id gone and thought they were great and the second time they were ok but theyre conversation was quite rude. After that they never had availability when I stopped in OR called. Save your time and money, go somewhere where the employees appreciate your business. Dont put any more money in the pockets of these boujee fools.
