Had the brakes done on my jeep which has an electronic parking brake. The price was EXTREMELY better than the dealer and another shop I called for a quote said they couldn’t do it because of the e-brake. My car was in and out in the time frame they gave me. Matt is great. I will definitely be using his shop again and recommending to others.

Ive been going to this location for nearly four years and have always had good service on two different vehicles. As someone who was new to the area at the time, I needed a new place to bring my car to get work done and have been happy and satisfied since finding this Meineke.

Quick, professional service. Did NOT try to sell me unnecessary parts. Gave me the heads up that the brakes were getting low and will have to keep an eye and likely replace next time which I certainly appreciated. Overall a great experience and much better then the Mazda dealership I have been using that forgot to close the air cleaner housing last time I used the dealership.

This place was awesome! The service was prompt and on point and friendly. Truly knowledgeable, Answered all my questions and didnt beat around the bush or try to sell me on stuff that wasnt needed. The Job was done very quick and was in and out. I couldnt be happier how fast I was on my way. I had a 1.5 inch hole in my exhaust and in a difficult spot to fix. The weld looks solid and its not going anywhere. The is alot quieter now and Im confident it will hold a long time in our new England climate. Definitely one of those hole in the wall spots big company with small business feel!

Went there because my engine was making a loud noise, said it was my rotors grinding, charged me 1200$ to get all my brakes done. As soon as i drove it I went back because it was making the same noise. He told me it was my “transmission sorry” and sent me on my way. Never ever ever again

Got my brakes done a week ago at a different Meineke. Something was wrong and this Meineke took care of it no waiting no questions asked all I did was show them the receipt very professional very friendly and helpful

I brought my car here for a noise that it began making. i went in thinking theyd fully evaluate my car and actually try and listen for the sound I described and told him about. They told me i needed a wheeling barring, new roters, breaks, etc., and he told me that was the reason why my car was making that sound and that i needed to fix that so i agreed cause as a person who doesnt know much about cars and who has an infant and full time job i just needed to get my car fixed. I left my car there that afternoon and i was even promised to get it back by the afternoon the next day and when they didnt i called and asked for an update and when i did they had a complete different person working who wasnt even informed of anything or issues going on with my vehicle but they didnt have it done until 4 and then when i got the car it still was making that sound so i called them and they told me i had to bring my car in again to get it checked out for the same noise i brought it in for and when they did check it they told me it was my transmission so i eneded up having to pay 1200 when they only told me itd be 1000 and paid for something i didnt need. Very unhappy and they didnt even offer to provide and other kind of help when they mis diagnosed my car

Been going there for years for oil changes on my cars. New management wanted to charge me 4 times more than I always pay! More than the dealer! A bunch or con artists! Avoid this place!

Had a 9:30am appointment for oil change. Did not get car back till 1:30pm. They stripped the oil plug and want me to pay for it. Will change my own oil in the future.

After a difficult experience with another outlet, Meineke Car Center in Ansonia, CT really came to the rescue. With integrity and persistence they were able to resolve the issues created by a different shop and get my AC back up and running. Chas, who managed the process, was extremely professional, kind and patient. He kept me informed along the way and I sincerely appreciate his professionalism. I highly recommend this car center.

I hate leaving reviews but they sent this to me. So I made an appointment online, when I get their the guy at the front isn’t wearing a mask, nor is he when I came back to get my car, but he informs me that the online portal has been double booking them and that it is gonna take a while to do my car, no big deal. I got a ride home. It ends up taking 5.5 hours for an oil change. And when I got my car back it smelled like smoke. I’m giving them three stars cause I recognize the wait time is not their fault if the system is over booking them

My place to get oil changes from. So far so decent.Only gripe is how long they took to perform oil change. Always takes around 1-1.5hrs and thats way too long sorry. At the most 20-30mins....but apart from that staff seems friendly and helpful

I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change and i needed it to be done in an hour or less because i had to get to work. They were busy but were able to get it done in half an hour! Friendly service and have never had an issue

Everything was fine and on time.

I recently purchased a new car and have been slowly adding modifications to it. One of the modifications I wanted was to have the calipers painted red. I searched high and low for a place that could do this for me and finally came across Meineke. Specifically, Chas was the one who performed the work and saying that he went above and beyond would be an understatement. He performed a professional-level job and made the calipers look even better than I was expecting. Additionally, he came in on his day off to give me my keys since I was out of state during the work and he even hosed off my car for me! All of this was done for an incredibly affordable price, to boot. 10/10 job, would definitely recommend everyone to have him work on their car.

I was from out of town and had a flat tire. AAA temporarily filled the tire so I could get to the shop. Meineke Shop waited for me to arrive. Diagnosed the problem, explained how it needed to be fixed, filled all my tires and assured me I’d get home to Massachusetts safely. He wouldn’t take any $$ for his time and energy. I arrived home safely and the tire pressure held.

I had a busy morning after working all night and looked online to see if there was a quick oil change in store for me.I didnt want to wait until the next posted time so I called and Chad was able to get me in nearly 2 hours earlier & with a deal I could not resist for better quality oil and fill up on all of my low fluids.He runs an excellent crew who were able to inform me of some problem areas I wasnt fully aware of.I had a problem, of my own doing, with the transmission dipstick and Chad told me to come down and he would take a look. He did more than that by quickly solving my silly problem and being a great person about it.My wife had rave reviews on her last few trips so I was glad to have a good experience for myself after being run through the mill at a few other local auto groups that had actually made multiple issues arise after my visits.Im looking to relocate to another town closer to work but this is my go to location for my auto fixes! I have been screwed over by a few other oil change/tire type auto care facilities lately so I decided to try somewhere different to hopefully get a more positive experience ( yes this is the first time I am reviewing a Car Care Center) . I had an oil change here this week and the customer service experience far exceeded all other places I have been at. Another customer told me the managers have turned over here a lot recently so they are clearly making an effort to improve and I think they are on the right track now.They did a complete professional safety inspection in addition to the oil change and rotation, and as a technology guy I was impressed with the fact that they email/text you the report complete with pictures of everything. This is great so that you dont get the feeling they are ripping you off by selling you un-necessary services.The only negative I would report is that I noticed a few minutes after I left that they hadnt returned my wheel lock key, so I had to drop by to get it back - No worries.You should consider giving this place a shot for you next car care services.

Wanted to put an exhaust on my Grand Cherokee. I purchased the x pipe, resonators, and the tips myself. Brought it by to get a quote and I was told I could just drop it off Friday morning and they’d get it done. I asked about an idea on price and I was told “I’m not sure but I’ll take good care of you, I’ve done tons of these.” So, I dropped it off this morning and I got a phone call later saying $919 and 4 hours of shop time... I know 2 friends who’ve had the exact same thing I’m having done who paid $150 and $180 and both waited for it to be done and took about an hour. And now after making a phone call I was quoted $160 somewhere else. I can’t say anything about their work, but their pricing was outrageous and their exaggeration on the job tasked is ridiculous. I could have purchased a full exhaust and bolted it on myself for the price they quoted me.

Wow! went here yesterday after hearing some grinding in my brakes. Bobby took my wheels off and showed me what was wrong, and it turned out the place i had gone to get a tire and axle changed didn’t put the caliper back on correctly. he and a tech stayed almost an hour late to get my car fixed, including going and getting parts from around half an hour away. 10/10 definitely recommend!! i would have been so screwed had they not truly gone above and beyond for me with this, since it’s memorial day weekend and otherwise my car would have been out of commission until Tuesday at least (did i mention i was 200 miles away from home when this all happened?) all my thanks to these folks!

My ac has been giving me issues so I called up in the morning and they were able to have me come in that day (most other places I talked to would have me wait a few weeks). They recharged it with and found a leak in the condenser. I let them know I was going to see if the place I bought the car from would do something for me since it hasnt even been a year that Ive owned it. They drained the refrigerant and didnt charge me anything even though they had it for almost an hour. I will be going to them for everything going forward!

Employees were very nice and made me aware of a few repairs to consider soon. Only downside is it took over 1.5 hours for a scheduled oil change when it usually has only taken 30-45 min in the past.

I called because my clutch has been acting up for the past 2 weeks. The manager Joe not only looked at my car but quickly ordered the parts and serviced my vehicle within a few hours. I love Meineke Ive always had good service and they always come through in a pinch.

So i just stopped in for an oil change and was treated with awesome customer service during the interaction i mentioned i was having an issue with the valve stem on one of the tires on my car not only was he more than willing to take a look at it but offered to fix it at a fraction of the cost of other shops in the area i will absolutely be returning to this location again for any maintenance needs i highly recommend anyone in the area to use meineke

See below to find out why.)Shady as all Hell, to be blunt.Brought in my mothers car for a pulsation in the brakes. After charging her what may as well have been dealer prices ($520+) for just the front two brake rotors/pads, the problem persisted. When brought back in to be assessed, it was now suddenly the ABS pump that was at fault, a $1700+ job, according to them (Dealer est. $1100 btw, in case you were curious).As there were no warning lights on the dash to indicate an ABS system fault, we got a second opinion and, lo and behold, not only was the pump not the problem, but the new rotors they charged her for were just resurfaced ones they asked full replacement price for. They still had rust on the unmodified parts of them!When asked about this over the phone, an employee said that it was our fault (!) the rust was there on the new pads because of the weather and how my mother doesnt drive the car enough! Fun Fact: She drives it almost every day AND it is kept in a place that rain has a tough time getting to.Quick Version For You:This is a business that blatantly lies and overcharges for everything. Stay. Away.

Called this afternoon and they managed to fit me in for a service same day. Quick turnaround and honest service. Didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of.

They understood that I was on a tight budget and helped me find a cheaper replacement starter. When they found something else wrong after giving me an estimate, they didn’t charge me for the additional fixes.

Kristen was a delight to talk to in the waiting room and when I had unknown (to me) issues with my car they came and showed me the physical issue as opposed to simply trying to explain what’s wrong. Under NEW management. I used to avoid this company because of this location, but This place has turned around completely. The district manager LOU and the technicians are definitely honest and helpful, also extremely friendly. When there are problems currently or soon to arise, they show you hands on. I Will most certainly continue to come here now for all 3 of my family vehicle needs.

I typically do my own oil change but did not have the time to do it myself. That being said 2 oil cycles ago I changed my own oil. I went there to have my oil changed on 2 occasions. Untill today, the day I had time to change my own oil and when I removed and saw the oil filter, guess what?!? Low and behold it was still the same oil filter that I had put on 2 oil cycles ago.One star for customer service, but don’t be fooled by the charm and professionalism up front because in the garage they are cutting corners.Also, this is my first review I have ever written for any type of business. Seeing the same oil filter in my car prompted me to create a google account just to write a review. Take it as you want, you have been warned. If you continue to get your oil changed there, find a way to verify that the filter was replaced. I’m sure I’m not the first one who had this issue and I’m sure I won’t be the last.
