My moving experience with Josh & Seth was excellent. They were professional, courteous, and importantly, careful with the furniture, pictures, and lamps that they had to move from my moms assisted living residence back to her home. They were not just on time, but early, for the appointment. They were effective and efficient, and took care with how they protectively wrapped and packaged my moms things so they wouldnt be damaged while being transported back in the truck. They worked well together to get the job done. As the captain for my move, Josh was communicative about what was going to happen for the day, when he & Seth would arrive, and where they were en route to the destination. He had all the correct paperwork, answered any questions I had, and did a great job managing the entire process. Although this wasnt a huge move with lots of stuff, my experience with these gentlemen was fantastic and Id request them again.

The company’s motto of Stress Free Service couldn’t be farther from the truth. After the move we discovered 22 different damages to the furniture, walls, and bannister. After 20 to 30 phone calls and emails I finally got a hold of someone that asked me to send them pictures of the damages.After receiving the pictures instead of coming out to examine the damages they determined that a check for $367 was they’re total responsibility. I have dealt with a lot of companies in the past, and never received the run around I received from this company. I would highly recommend that if you are looking for a moving company you should look elsewhere.

The team arrived early and with a positive attitude, not just great work ethic but genuinely positive people. I had some items left in my storage unit that needed to go. Not a difficult job, no stairs and easy access to the unit. I had to reschedule at the last minute due to a work emergency and they were accommodating. They gave me a fair price for the job, it actually came out less than the estimate once they finished. Overall a great experience!

Our experience with College H.U.N.K.N.S. was great! Jacob and Akeem worked efficiently and professionally. They were on-time, friendly and polite. We are moving out of our house and needed help getting rid of things we no longer needed. We were assured that most of what we had would be donated. Its a relief knowing these items would get a second life and not end up in the landfill. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone looking for help cleaning out a house.

They lied about providing me a receipt for a donation and they lied about the price. They quoted me a low price and they when the arrived they increased it. Bait and switch. They didnt even try and fit it in the truck like they said. They just tossed it in anyway. They charge by the space the items take up in the truck. They didnt even try and fit it in the space they quoted. Deceptive.

I have used College Hunks in the past. More than 20 times. I have referred a lot of people. Recently I had a couch removed and it cost 369 dollars for one couch. I was able to negotiate: to 299 but the point is, don’t use for one item you won’t get moneys worth. The guys were great.

My sister and I are clearing our mothers house after her death. She had the usual house full of furniture and many scenic pictures and botanical pictures that were great for donating to charities like Wider Circle. College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving came in and worked quickly and professionally to move all of it to Wider Circle. The guys that helped us were very polite and went out of their way to make the experience great on a hot summer day. The price charge was a fair price. I would use them again and recommend them. We needed help unpacking a large truck and moving delicate furniture and artwork into storage. Zach, Jordan, and Dylan were amazing. Not only were they efficient, but they handled our belongings as if they were their own and we were very happy with the job. They were polite and professional, even though the real feel temperature was 106! We will be using College Hunks when we move our stuff from storage into our new house and hopefully these three guys will be available to do the job!

Arrived on time, really professional and polite, took their time yet was still quickly and in the time frame that we needed. They really took great care of everything as if it was their own. Jordan and Clinton moved my 1 bedroom apartment efficiently and with great attitudes. They were quite communicative about their time of arrival and kept me up-to-date when there were GPS issues. I am sorry I am so late posting this review but just wanted to say that Todd, Tyrel and Taron were the best pros ever during our very difficult move. They handled everything with care and it was ALOT of small boxes up and down treacherous staircases. I will definitely be using CH again when I move out of storage and into the new home this month!

College H.U.N.K.S. was such a good choice for us. We had a working refrigerator to donate, but we couldnt move it outside for a direct donation pickup. The online booking process was easy. The confirmation and move day communication was excellent. The moving team of Damian and Jordan was careful and professional.

Terrelle, Taron, and Seth worked tirelessly through 95 degree July heat to get my move completed. When all was unloaded, they had finished well under the scheduled 4hrs estimate and WELL under the price estimate I received on the phone. A three-man crew made the loading and unloading much faster than with other movers Ive used in the past. I had an appointment with the college hunk. They were professional and came on time. Jacob and Seth Service was great! I’m pretty satisfied.

I was very happy with the movers. However, I was charged over $500 for one oversized junk item removed, and a treadmill taken to my basement. I wasn’t thinking when I was charged at my home. I was discussing the cost the next day, with a family member, and called I immediately because it didn’t seem right. I was quoted $236 + $31 for 15 minutes extra for moving the treadmill, when I booked my appointment; but charged almost double. I’ve called 3 times in a week now, to discuss the charges. The call center receptionist during my first call said she didn’t think it was charged properly and a message will be delivered to the manager. While yes, there was a holiday, in that week (Easter), I’m still not pleased that it has taken this long to receive a call back from anyone. I wanted to use them again, but I’m not sure I feel confident in the company at this moment.

They stood us up today for a junk haul. When we called them after they didnt show, they told us we had a later appointment time that day. We didnt -- according to the email they had sent confirming the appointment. When they missed that later time, we got in touch again and they told us theyd place a call with the local team to get their ETA. We never heard back. I called later in the day and someone from Corporate answered. He spent 10 minutes trying to reach the local team and couldnt get through to them. Were still waiting to hear back.

From the moment I contacted them, their communication to complete the job was excellent! The crew was awesome in navigating my home to remove a super large sofa (110) and very efficient in doing everything right! I cant compliment CHHJ enough! Bravo to a job well done!

Had a pickup scheduled between 1000 and 1200. No call, no show. I called customer service twice and they reached out to the local franchise with no response. Would not have minded being told they were running late or even that they had to cancel, but no response whatsoever is just poor customer service.

This team of professional, polite and efficient workers cleared and sorted the various contents of my basement. Their ability to move items ranging from heavy furniture in excellent condition which they would take to Habitats to Humanity to old TVs which they would dispose of, as well as to be able to sort and carry items which they would either take to the dump or recycling was very helpful. I needed a full bedroom cleared out (bed, dresser, vanity, box spring, etc.) which they were able to do in under half an hour without any fuss.Whats more, this was the second time Ive used the company, the first being for an entire apartment, and they were just as good the first time. If you need furniture hauled anywhere, and youre in their service area, Id highly recommend giving them a call.

Unfortunate experience. I have moved several times with various moving companies and have always had great service. The pricing for this company was enticing so we decided they were the ones. However, when the movers arrived they informed me that they would not move anything that was not in a box. They refused to move bagged items and the like, it had to be in a closed box with a top. Even more interesting is that they require someone to come to your home and do an estimate. This policy was never mentioned. Following my experience, I had to then rent a moving truck to move about 25% of my belongings myself. Unbelievable experience. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your moving needs.

Todd and Seth called to provide their ETA approximately 30 minutes out; they arrived at the promised time. We donated a large armoire that sat ontop a two drawer chest (Ashley Furniture). Todd & Seth reviewed pricing with us and it was similiar to the quote we received over the phone. Todd and Seth ey had no problems moving it. They also moved a flat pack containing the new chest of drawers up the stairs and into the bedroom for assembly at a later time.
