Just returned from closing on a complicated home renovation loan with Megan at Eagle Title, and my experience there was fantastic. Megan was cheery and personable, but also organized and professional. We were able to move through about an inch-thick stack of documents in a little over half an hour, even with us sharing stories with each other in among the explanations and signing.And as should be mentioned at this time, everyone was wearing masks and maintaining distances as best as could be expected in a busy office, and Eagle Title had sanitation stations scattered about, as well as personal sanitizing bottles for clients. Megan and I had a closed office all to ourselves, and I never once felt crowded or unsafe there.Thank you, Eagle Title, for a smooth closing on a complex loan!

We experienced much more angst than necessary. Plenty of improvement opportunities for processes and communications.

Worst closing experience. We should have been in and out in an hour. No one told us to wire money prior to closing. So now we wait. Our closing was at 11am and it is almost 2. The bank confirmed the wire 90 minutes ago and we have the confirmation but Eagle cannot confirm yet. So whose issue is this? Better communication prior and setting expectations would have been appreciated. I only used this company because my real estate agent suggested it. Not again!

I have never had a closing where I wasnt told in advance how much money I needed to bring to settlement. There may be a slight adjustment but always clear and professional documentation and communication. That was NOT the case with Eagle. There was simply a surprised look from the attorney that I didnt have a cashiers check with me (for an amount I was never given). Instead I had to make a separate trip to my bank and with COVID restrictions spent considerable time making up for someones mistake. When I went back I got the sort of hollow apology you get when someone just wants you to leave their office. I want to warn others so no one else has to have this experience.

Cassidy was the least responsive and unorganized professional. For several weeks leading up to closing, we sent emails to confirm that they had what they needed. We were informed less than 1 business day before closing that they needed more documentation.Closing attorney was 45 minutes late to settlement.For the cost that they incur for their minimal work, one would expect mediocre professionalism, at the very least.This company was sub-par in delivering any standard expectations.

Brooke made this process very easy, informative, and fun. She Came very prepared, providing reasons very every document, and added conversation the whole way through. I hope to work with Eagle Title in the future!

Very disorganized group. Wrong documents presented more than once. Had to reach out for months to fix errors they made on settlement sheets on my behalf. Nice people there but wow a lot of work as a purchaser to fix where they dropped the ball.

Throughout the process of closing Eagle Title Co. repeatedly left me off email traffic concerning the sale of my property. Understandably it was quite an interesting situation, but as co-owner and the primary mortgage holder....I should have been privy to all conversations concerning the sale of my property. I requested several times to be added to all of the email correspondence but only received a few point to point emails...the rest were forwarded from the co-owner.Additionally, the day of closing (for me...as I was invited to sign the documents prior to the actual closing date) was also a display of unprofessionalism and lack of attention to detail. Specifically, my closer did not at any time identify himself and was not familiar with my property or case.I took almost a week to receive a copy of the closing documents from Eagle Title Co, although the closer/notary did take time specifically to write down my email address and ensured that I would receive a copy immediately after all parties had signed the next day. I did not. I called Eagle Title Co several times to get a copy of those documents and finally when I reached someone, I was told that they didnt know how to send them...so they just hadnt. Thanks.If you have a choice...dont use these folks. There are better experiences out there.
