I scheduled a initial clean 30 days in advance. I emailed with the company back and forth and explained to them the exact services I was looking after reviewing the website for the services they offered and in return the sent me the invoice for those services. Fast forward to the day of the cleaning. The cleaning crew arrived and cleaned. Upon completion they were preparing to depart when all of the services I signed up for was not complete. When questioned about the services we were told that they did not do those services. Confused on how they did not offer the services when they are clearly stated on the company website and correspondence went back and forth between them and I about the services I signed up for. I representative called me and told me they did not offer some of the services and the others were an additional charge. So I asked why was I paying a price I thought I signed up for based on the information I was given? The logical thought in my mind would be to reduce the price for the sole fact that I forwarded them back the very first email explaining what I needed done and no one from the company ever told me the services were not offered but instead they sent me a invoice. I emailed the company with my complaint and photos but I received no response just took my money. And to put icing on the cake the cleaning that was completed was poor. They failed to clean the mold from the shower, windowsills, and the shower nozzles. The company did a very poor job communicating and cleaning. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Do not use Spouses Cleaning Houses!I contacted them after we moved into our home and explained that all kitchen appliances needed to be cleaned as well as bathrooms, and that I was 7 months pregnant.They sent 3 ladies and when I returned I saw that the appliances were still very dirty and the tubs were still dirty. They told me this was because they were old and could not be better than that and left.I of course scrubbed them all myself and got them looking clean but that was what I was hoping to avoid!I responded to their survey saying I had concerns about the service, to which I received an automatic someone will contact you response. No one did.I tried to reach the manager many times, each time I was told she was on the phone. She finally sent me an email saying that I reported I was happy at the walk through, which is not true. She also said that the kitchen just needed scrubbing over time and refused to correct the problem. She said when a customer is unhappy they would correct it in 24 hours, no one responded when I said I was unhappy with the service, they ignored me and did not offer to send anyone to remedy the situation, as they claim is their policy.I am extremely disappointed with the cleaning service I received, the house was not any cleaner and I ended up doing it all myself. But even worse was the customer service, do not use this company!

Very poor job, did not follow instructions even though they were told time and again, would speak to management and nothing was done. A very big disappointment! Would not even put the trash in the CORRECT trash can nor fix the issue when brought to their attention. Save your time and energy by looking elsewhere. P.S. The owners reply seems very forthright! Except when you add to the fact that when we called (numerous times) to attempt a resolution, they told US that THEY were cancelling our service! Thats right, no rectification, just a cancellation. This cancellation occurred at 8:45 an this morning!! You be the judge!!

Wow what a dishonest company! Not only have they not responded to my review, after numerous calls I have heard from the scheduling office that management refuses to talk to me or issue a partial refund for the time that the cleaners were sitting in my driveway not cleaning my house. Here is my original review from three weeks ago:I will not use Spouses Cleaning Houses again. I was promised three cleaners and only got two, didn’t get an invoice until I asked for one, and then was overcharged. I was charged for three hours of work when they only cleaned for 2.5, the other half hour was them sitting in their car in my driveway so their GPS tracker showed that they were at the job site. I’m still working trying to get a half hour refund, but can never get patched through to the manager that can actually do something. Next time I’ll use an honest company.

These guys are already the third maid service I have hired since moving in about two years ago. The first two were good, but there was always something not done or not done right. With Spouses, I have never had to experience anything like that.

I am disappointed to have to share this review. I have used spouses cleaning houses for years with satisfaction. After my last cleaning however I found that a set of sheets was missing. I notifind Mindy who asked the team about the sheets. The team indicated the sheets were on my kitchen table chairs. When I indicated that was not the case the team then came back and said they were in a pillowcase next to the door. There was a pillowcase next to the door with sheets in it but it contained only 1 set but 2 sets of sheets had been changed. I shared that with Mindy who indicated that she wanted customers to be satisfied and although she did not believe the team took the sheets she would look into reimbursement. By the way, there were far more valuable items that could have been taken so I did not believe it to be malicious but the fact of the matter was a set of $200+ sheets went missing during the cleaning. Also to note is that I have not had the same team that I used to have. Tonight I read Mindys emails that they did not believe their team was responsible for the missing sheets. They would reimburse me the $75 cleaning fee and terminate my service. I am disappointed because while I do not understand how the sheets went missing, they did and I thought more of this company than what I have experienced.during this incident. These are the disappointing facts. I did share with Mindy that I would share the outcome on social media and was accused of threateningr her. So be it. At least she wished me well.

First of all, their “scheduling center” is a joke. This is essentially the only way you get in touch with anyone but the fact is they can’t tell you anything. All they do is leave a message for whatever your home office is and then those people are supposed to call you back. For a while they were fine, aside from not being able to get in touch with people; however, in the past 2 months that has drastically changed. After breaking a souvenir from Mexico they left us a card stating there was an accident and gave us a number to call. Fine, I get it, accidents happen. Personally I’d think you’d be more careful when you see multiple breakable things in front of you that clearly come from multiple countries around the world, but whatever, at least you acknowledged you broke it. My husband called a couple days later requesting reimbursement. He told the woman over the phone that it was a hand painted sugar skull from Mexico and indicated we wanted it replaced. After hearing what it was, the woman said she’d have to talk to her manager and get back to us. A week goes by and we hear nothing- not acceptable. Then we call back and are told we have to fill out their version of an incident report in order for it to be reimbursed (ok would’ve been nice if the first person had told me that and sent it to me). Finally received the form the next day to complete. From reading the form, apparently it’s required that they have some kind of incident report from the team that actually broke the item in order for it to be reimbursed- this is important for later. Form is sent in and it’s now been 2 weeks with ZERO CONTACT from anyone there. When we called we were told to submit the form, said yes that’s already been done, and then the person magically happened to find it but said nothing had been reviewed yet. Said it would be reviewed by the end of the day and guess what, NO ONE CONTACTED US AGAIN. My husband has now called the local office and left multiple messages and no one has called us back *surprise surprise*. We finally got in touch with someone at the main office- over a week later- who told us that the claim *should* be paid but nothing has happened yet; however, a check will probably go in the mail that week. They were told then and there that until a check showed up they were not allowed in our house and the clean scheduled for that week needed to be cancelled. They actually had the audacity to ask “oh, has this affected your satisfaction with our service?” I mean seriously are you people joking or do you really think this wouldn’t piss someone off? And guess what, over a week later we haven’t been paid and no one has called to say what’s going on with the claim.So, strike 1, horrible call center, strike 2, they break your stuff and then just decide to ignore you. Strike 3- on their last visit they were scheduled to arrive between 2-4pm. They decide to show up at 5:30!!!!! I was in the hospital for outpatient surgery and come home at 6 to find them parked in my driveway. THEY NEVER CALLED TO SAY THEY WOULD BE LATE (see a pattern here?!?) so I get to come home and sit in my car on pain meds, with a toddler and a dog in the back seat waiting for them to leave. It takes 30 minutes for them to leave and instead of picking up and leaving when asked, they decided to rush to finish so they didn’t have to come back. I walk in to still wet floors, the vacuuming on the stairs was clearly a pathetic rush job and nothing was put back in place. To top it off, after they left we discovered they’d chipped our spoonrest that sits on the stove, whatever cleaner they used on our stove had removed part of the LG logo, and clearly it’s no longer a coincidence that 2 small decorative air plants we had for the past 3 years disappeared (I’m assuming someone knocked them out of the containers and just decided to sweep them up since they don’t have a root system). But guess what, none of these things had an incident report by the cleaning team so now what am I supposed to do? STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE THE COMPANY IS A TOTAL JOKE.
