It’s not to often that I am impressed with businesses these days. Redds repaired my BMW so wonderfully that every time I drive it I still smile. I had neglected my BMW for some time due to health reasons and it needed a doctor. I was referred to Redds by my usual mechanic. They repaired numerous items on my car, kept me well informed and DELIVERED! These guys and this shop are a business I would go to again, no question. On the first day of a cross-country move, we hit some road debris that caused considerable enough damage to make us think wed have to delay the rest of our trip. We managed to get our car to Redds about half an hour before they closed.They took the time to confirm that none of the damage was critical, provided a quick fix to hold us over until we arrived to our destination, and most reassuringly, they were incredibly professional and friendly throughout. I can only assume this professionalism carries over to planned maintenance as well and highly recommend them!

I’ve had 3 bmws that the guys at Redds have taken care of. I was hesitant to bring M cars there because of how big a deal the dealership makes out of it, but if you talk to the guys at the shop they are knowledgeable, love performance cars, and operate on the mentality that special cars should be driven. Their prices are reasonable, and they treat you like family. Love this place and I’m always excited to see what other collector cars they have in the lot.

Redd’s handles all of my automotive work since I moved back to the neighborhood. They do great work at fair prices and are always upfront about what needs to be done and what can wait to be done. If you like to support local you can’t go wrong with Redd’s!

The shop is the best, beyond accommodating, they go over and beyond for $10 repairs or $10,000 repairs. Don’t bother taking your vehicle to anywhere else, they are also following all guidelines with the pandemic and very accommodating! Have not had a problem with any of their work, no call backs, this is a rarety in the automotive world. Redds will always be or go to for any automotive needs!

Normally these guys are good. However, I called the day before bringing my truck intin let them know that I was bringing it in for an oil change and brake pads. I drop it off and let them know that I would be waiting. Two hours later I call and it had just gotten in. The service tech had changed the oil, the brakes hadnt been touched. The service tech didnt know that the brakes were to be serviced...I was tired of waiting, and didnt want to wait another two plus hours to get my truck back. So I told them to wrap it up. I havent decided off I will be coming back.

We have been Redds customers for a while but recently they did two things that merit an excellent review. First, two weeks ago, I brought my 2007 Audi A8 to them for an interval service and they recommended changing the serpentine belt due to wear (at 109k miles). I authorized the work and they performed it same day. When I picked up the car the next morning, I was able to drive a bit but then noticed my charging warning light was on, so I brought the car back to them in the early afternoon and asked them to check it out. Turns out the new serpentine belt had disintegrated, perhaps due to a bad belt, perhaps due to bad installation. Even though it was late on a summer Friday afternoon, they obtained a new belt and installed it that afternoon for no charge, saving a weekend road trip.Then, a short time later, my transmission died and I had to flatbed the car to their location. They got me in first thing the next morning, diagnosed the issue, called for authorization, recommended using a remanufactured part instead of a new one (confirming same warranty, etc.) and had me fixed by that afternoon, all for a total cost less than half of just what the new part would have cost. I was incredibly impressed and grateful, as I had visions of $$$ dancing in my head when the car died.I have never felt up-sold by Redds or had them suggest doing work that wasnt necessary. And when I have said I wasnt ready to do some recommended work, they are honest about the risks of waiting and what to look for to recognize when it absolutely, positively needs to be done. Generally very safety focused, which I appreciate. Very highly recommended.

Our family has been a customer or Redds for about 10 years. Everyone knows that repairing BMW cars is expensive. Redds has been great over the years working within budgets, charging fair prices for repairs, and providing excellent customer service. Many times they have gone well above 5 stars with customer service. Ed is always a delight and works very hard to ensure customers are satisfied with the price and work performed. Customer for life!

Trustworthy & great customer service

I recently switched to Redds for service on my Volvo XC90 and am so happy that I did. Their work has been great. On top of that, they are honest, pleasant, smart and they care. Heres how I know that they care -- I recently called them when I discovered that I had a flat tire after getting in my car to drive my kids to school. Even though Im a relatively new customer, they came to my location, put air in my tire so we could get my car to their shop, removed the screw in my tire, plugged it, and sent me on my way with a smile -- all within less than 40 minutes of my call for help! Amazing. Redds is a great local business.

These guys are aweome! They fixed a complex problem with great detail. Would definitely recommend. I actually mistakenly gave them a 1 star rating and they called to see if the car was okay, which just proves how great they are.

Let me start off by stating that until lately I havent trusted anyone to work on any of my vehicles due to bad experiences from other shops over a decade ago. I moved to the Annapolis area just over 2 years ago, and when I had a couple issues on one of my cars and was in a crunch to get it done, I took the car to Redds after hearing good things about them. They have since relieved me hesitation of letting anyone else work on my car. I still wont trust anyone else, but I trust this business after now having taken 2 of my cars in several times for a variety of work, and leaving with the car done just the way I would have done it if I had currently had the workspace to do it. Top-notch work every time. Willie, who is a technician there, has worked on my car several of those times and has always done an amazing job, so I have to give a bit of credit to him for this review. If youre in the area and looking for honest, quality work.... I think you need to visit this shop. Very skilled technicians that will get the job done right the first time, and the service writer, Ed, has always been a pleasure to deal with as well.

We have been bringing our car to Redds for a few years now and we really appreciate their service. They are honest, responsible, prompt, professional and personable. On top of all that, their prices are reasonable and have always been about 1/2 what the dealership has estimated for repairs.

Im not a car guy, and the staff at Redds helped me to understand what the problems were, what did need to be done, and what DIDNT need to be done as well. Very easy to work with, and left me feeling extremely satisfied and confident in the work that was done. Plus, they were recommended to my by several friends in the Annapolis area.

Fantastic mechanics that use quality parts, but they charge more than just a premium for their service and parts. Euro imports are in general more expensive to repair, but sometimes our familes cars have been taken for just basic things (odometer gears, brake pad replacements) and the prices were just completely irrationally expensive. So if you just want your car to be fixed and fixed right then look no further, but this is not a place to take your car if youre on any kind of budget.

Ive been going to Redds for over 5 years and have been impressed with the service and the knowledge that Ed and the shop have as it relates to Volvos. Would highly recommend as an alternative to the dealer. For those that say prices are high Id say try going to the dealer and then compare.

Even though its not one of the makes they specialize in, Redds expertly took on the clutch job in my 06 Porsche Cayman. When I inquired over the phone about they job, Ed provided me insight into possible additional parts that may be needed to do the job quickly and correctly. I did not get this valuable and ultimately correct insight when I called the Porsche specialty shops in the area and its ultimately what made me decide to go with Redds. I called on Monday, dropped the car off on Tuesday at closing and it was done early on Wednesday evening. I also appreciate that the techs seem to be car enthusiasts and spoke with about the repairs and other things they noticed about the car(good and bad). They also showed me the failed parts with diagnosis on the potential reason for early failure. Not that they want a bunch of Porsche owners banging on their door but if you have a Porsche and are looking for a good shop, these guys are equipped to take on any job you might have with the exception of advanced system diagnosis(they dont have the Porsche Durametric tool). Theyll definitely be getting my repeat business. Now I only wish they worked on boats! ;)
