As a man coming from a Macho culture the idea of waxing is a bit foreign to me. NiQuesha has kind and listened to me when I had questions. Clearly knows her craft very well. Treated me with great respect. I’d be very happy to come back again.

Scheduled a same day appointment! Convenient time after a work day! She’s very professional and educational. My experience was great! She kept me aware of what was going on the entire time. Very friendly & made me feel comfortable. Will recommend her services to my friends and family for sure!

I was a little late as is my m.o. too often and NiQuesha was very accommodating and professional. She answered all of the questions I had and made the experience pretty smooth (hah :D). Definitely will be back again for other services every now and again!

She was timely, friendly, very professional and thorough. I used to go to a different wax center and would leave with skin irritation and they required two weeks to a month to get an appointment. When I left The Traveling Waxer I had no irritation, whatsoever, the prices are VERY reasonable and it is not very difficult to make an appointment. I imagine that will change as more people are looking for better and higher quality services, but for right now I will enjoy the freedoms of easy appointment making!

I love it here! She was so professional and my wax barely hurt. She got rid of everything and was very efficient. 10/10 recommend!

Finally someone who cares about your skin, I travel two hours to get service thats how good they are. They are professional, clean and on time with service each time. They are knowledgable about skin care and passionate about sharing information to help you better care for skin.

NiQuesha is amazing! Affordable, Quick and highly personable. I found her just like everybody else (through google) and I havent looked back since! Ive gotten an array of services (wax, vajacials, facials, dermaplane) done from her at this point and she is truly an expert in her craft. She doesnt get the recognition she deserves. Truly a gem!

Her studio space was well cleaned and maintained.Professionalism- 1/5stars. I’m gonna be honest she was rude. So rude. Her tone was condescending and I did not appreciate her barking out orders to me.Service- 1/5 stars. My eyebrows look horrible, thin (they are naturally thick) by the time she was done. When she saw I was upset, she told tell me to have them “filled in” by henna.Please BEWARE. I would not recommend

This woman is very unprofessional, condescending and rude. If you’re looking to get your eyebrows done, you are better off going to a random nail/spa salon. Seriously, do not book her

I trusted these reviews and I booked an appointment. Needless to say, Im so disappointed and I left this place feeling vulnerable. I sent her an email, but she has yet to reply to me (screenshot attached), itll be four days today.I arrived on time for my appointment, but she spent about 10 or so minutes cleaning up after her first client. She later spends about another 40 minutes explaining paperwork to me, as if I cant read it myself. I complete paperwork for every new professional I see on my own especially during COVID - be it a new physician, therapist, etc. In the paperwork there are some really important things I shouldve been informed prior to the appointment; for instance, there are some chemicals that could be in your washes (face, body) that can create an adverse reaction to your skin being waxed, but when do I find out about this information? Today. At the appointment. Right before I get waxed. What am I supposed to do? Cancel, pay some fees, and come back later? She asks me if I have this specifical chemical or that specific chemical, but how am I supposed to know these off the top of my head? And better yet, you also sign paperwork leaving her NOT liable to any injuries you face. SO I find out about this information she tells me that could potentially cause injuries to my skin DURING the appointment and I also have to sign paperwork that releases her from being held responsible. Lovely.This session is a $270 full body, front and back, session. She wastes almost an hour of our 2 hour session and then rushes because she realizes shes running out of time. The front side of my body isnt complete and she never started on my back. I paid an extra $40 because I have thick body hair, and yet she tells me I should exfoliate and indiscreetly notes that my body hair is taking too many pulls because its thick. I dont understand her complaint because I paid extra for this. And heres the highlight of it all: she still charged me full price AND she said when I come back, I will have to pay an additional price depending on what is left. She says she added an extra half hour to our appointment which was from 9:20am to 11:20am, to now 11:50, but why is she telling me this now? I have a ride, my boyfriend, who has to go to work and I have responsibilities. I couldnt stay and she seemed frustrated, but I wont drop everything just to stay another half hour because she couldnt manage her time properly. Not to mention, she was very persistent in seeing me the next day to finish up, while I was naked and I felt very vulnerable so I kept trying push it off and say instead Ill email her with an update as to what day I would like to see her. What a nightmare. I emailed her instead my complaint and the fact that I wont see her again. I wouldve posted this review on her website to warn people, but you cant post reviews and there are only 5 star reviews and two 4 stars. How convenient. Im sticking with real salons from now on. Ill also post updates if she replies, but judging by her lack of response, Im not so sure.

I really appreciated the ease of setting up an appointment. I was able to get in the next day with no problem. She is very nice and professional, and you can tell she knows what shes doing. The wax wasnt painful, and shes very thorough about getting any straggling hairs, which I appreciate. She also talks you through what shes doing and aftercare. I would highly recommend her services.
