This was my second visit with Dani and she exceeds any expectations I have every time! She makes me feel so comfortable and puts me at ease. I am always recommending her to my friends because she is worth the 40 minute drive! If anyone is wondering about coming here, I highly recommend her.

Whitney did my Brazilian wax and my underarms for me. She was extremely friendly, very informative on waxing, and we kept up such a good conversation it went by in no time! She informed me on specials, and didn’t rush me at all. Definitely recommend her!

I have been in several times for services. Lydia is by far the best ever. She does my nose and ears and she is always professional, pleasant and very detailed. Not a single hair left. She is my preferred specialist. This location is great and always professional even with last minute appointments.

Everyone there was very friendly and lovely! I had Lydia. She made the waxing process much quicker and less painstaking than I had anticipated and was a great conversant. They also have deals for students and first timers that I didnt know about, which was a bonus.

I’ve been getting waxes for some years now and last time I went was the worst experience here. The waxer was very nice and very easy to talk to… BUT she was very messy with everything. It didnt seem like she knew what she was doing, it was a lot more painful than the usual and I was there for quite some time. I came in for a Brazilian, and I still had hair in places I should not— in which didnt make sense because the hair was long enough to be waxed…. any ways, I didnt wanna leave a bad review but it wasn’t fair to be paying $60+ tip and not get the service I paid for… Hope this made sense.

I got a Brazilian wax at this location and Whitney did great. She was very quick and made me feel comfortable. We chatted the whole time and everyone followed Covid precautions. Great experience. Go see her.

This was my first time getting waxed here and it was an amazing experience!! I had Becca as my wax specialist she was amazing and so considerate she was always checking on me through out my waxing experience I’m currently 6 months pregnant she made things so easy for me and she did my waxing like a breeze she is the best will only be going to her!!!

I have never had any type of wax before at 29 years old I was very nervous. I jumped right into it with a Brazilian! Becca made me feel very comfortable and gave me great tips on what to do for my skin afterwards! Will be back in four weeks!

If I could give negative stars I would....this place is a joke. I’m just assuming the owner will take this down as a lot do with honest reviews, FYI I would go to one of the non franchise wax centers in Ann Arbor if I were you. For $5 extra dollars you’ll get great customer service and someone who cares about you. Thank you guys for being awful, opened my eyes up to a real franchise business....per usual.

My FAVORITE wax center. They are classy, profession and make sure that you are comfortable and very well taken care of. I’ve had some bad wax experiences in my life and this place has been by far them most comfortable and relaxing. I love this place! ❤️

I was 12 min late to my appointment, they told me to leave and reschedule. Even though I told them that I needed to get the service done because I’m traveling they did not take me. Extremely inconvenient and their service was terrible

I’m a frequent EWC customer in NY. I’m working in Michigan and drove over 30 miles to the EWC in Ann Arbor. I was on time but waited over 20 min. because their system failed to notify the Esthetician that I was waiting. Afterward, as I am paying I was asked did I want to leave the tip on the card and how much. I said yes, 20. Normally, it is understood for a $27 wax service I would not be leaving a $20 tip, but rather a 20% tip (approx. $6). I was charged a $20 tip to my card. It was then another 30 minutes as they attempt to process the over-charge back to my card. I finally requested they provide me the $14 in cash so I can go on with my day. Completely unacceptable customer service for what I am accustomed to from EWC.

I highly recommend! The comfort wax they use didnt hurt at all and Amy gave me a wonderful wax!

This would be my 3rd time for a brazilian each time I went to a different lady all very sweet but I LOVED Caitlyn, I believe she’s newer but she made me feel so comfortable, great conversation, and a perfectionist. She will definitely give you the results you want 🥰

As a Licensed Barber proper sanitation is key as is professionalism, and Courtney was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish I knew I was in good hands, she had me in and out quickly but at no point did I feel rushed. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and enjoyable waxing experience.

I hope this is read, but anyways, my ears are sharp and I overheard the manager at the Oak Valley establishment urging her employees to up sell products since they aren’t experiencing as many consumers due to COVID-19. In addition, she explained that the girls “use daddy’s money” so they shouldn’t care. Please be aware there are always ears and not all of us have “daddy’s money” to pay for things :). I will continue my business because I value the waxers who do an amazing job. Just maybe consider a manager with... better managing skills?

My wax specialist Jules was Fabulous.Most definitely provided great customer service. I felt very comfortable from the greet, during my service and after. I would highly recommend her to everyone. I will definitely return.

My appointment was at 2:45 and I was running late, I entered the building at 2:55. The lady at the front desk told me there was a 9 minute grace period and that I will be denied my service. 1 minute! This location will not be getting my booking again.

My Professional Waxer was Dani, she is great. I will be returning because my Brazilian was smooth. The center was clean, cozy and warm. I didnt have to wait, and I enjoyed my samples too.

I am new to the area and wanted to find a place to get my eyebrows done regularly. After going there I could not recommend this place enough, especially Jules! She was wonderful and I cannot wait to go back to her.

Very nice staff, but they burned my skin doing a simple eyebrow wax which is kind of hard to do if youve had any formal training. Be careful because you can seriously injure yourself by going to a place like this where the estheticians are not properly trained.Disclaimer: No, I had not been tanning or using topical acne treatments before or after my appointment, which I know can cause irritation.

Love European Wax Center! Especially Hailey Mast, if you are looking for your brows to be done right, she is your girl! I have very fine blonde hair and no one seems to be able to shape them correctly or get all those fine hairs like Hailey has been able to. She is my saving grace. Unlike myself, my husband has very thick and VERY coarse eyebrows and he will NOT let anyone shape or touch them besides Hailey. He swears she is the only one that does it right! She is the best! Look no further.

The waxers are good here and the wax service itself is fine. However, the management does not respond to emails after two months, are being rude and selfish about wax passes due to pandemic. Under these unforeseen circumstances, there needs to be more done to ensure their customers are being heard.UPDATE: they didnt help at all (please dont take their response below as anything but helpful).

For the most part I really like this place. The wax they use makes bikini and even Brazilian waxing much more comfortable than other places I have tried. They have a referral program and packages which is nice. The place is clean and staff are professional.

I got a Brazilians and while my waxer was really nice, she shared she was in aesthetician school last year and her service showed that she’s a little less experienced than the woman I had the first time I came here. There were times throughout when the wax was too hot and I’m checking now and can tell there are places where hair is left behind that I know shouldn’t be.I wish I’d checked before I left so she could have gotten those spots... but I honestly don’t believe it should be my responsibility to check if I’m paying money to have the service done correctly.

The staff here perform high quality work. Its a great place to go especially if its your first time getting a wax.

It’s been awhile since I got my last wax and anyone that’s thinks like me...getting a wax is a vulnerable thing...having all of your business out there with a stranger very in your business (lol) My first time at EWC was a good one. Jules was amazing I really liked the conversation we had...she was efficient and worked quickly...made things less awkward. Prices add up even with the “first wax” deal. Especially if your getting more than 1 service done (I got 3 different services) and it was pretty pricy with my 50% off. I plan to return because I really liked Jules. I would recommend EWC if you are only getting 1 service or if you just have the $ to pay the price.

Theyre reasonably priced, really quick and they only use their own formula of hard wax which I love. Danielle is my go to and shes so wonderful!

After having a poor experience at the Canton location, I decided to drive a half an hour to the Ann Arbor location. They were extremely professional and pleasant. I will definitely return.

Charise is amazing! I literally refuse to see anyone else. She is so easy to talk to and remembers you when you come back in a few months later, has a very painless approach and talks you through it, and is very thorough. I dont even live here anymore but will drive back to see her. Shes great!

Most of the wax specialists here are kind, efficient, and professional. I recently had a negative experience, and the manager, Carol, went out of her way to make up for it- she refunded the cost of the wax and had a different specialist touch it up. Good customer service and mostly great employees.

Charise was fantastic! I was super nervous but really wanted to try waxing before going on vacation. She took me through a few breathing excercises to help with my anxiousness but after getting started and talking, I completely forgot she waxing. I’d recommend the AA location and ask for Charise!

Clean and friendly environment! Associates really nice and knowledgeable about the waxing process and the dos and donts for pre and post wax. Wax is very different from most places, very gentle on the skin, but still gets the job done. I love this place! Ill never go anywhere else!

Service was great and Catherine was kind and gentle.

So if I am late, you cancel my appointment, or reduce my services. But when you run behind, by 20 minutes, there is no call to me to inform me. I am just left to sit in the lobby while the desk staff are on their cell phones 😡. Totally disrespectful of my time and not consideration of me as a repeat customer.

Nice person, but she should know better than to put only one strip of wax for underarms - the hair grows in different directions.Then to pull it gently which increases the pain and redness.
