Extremely disappointed with my services. I spent $180 (tip included) and I look exactly the same as when I walked in. I went to get a lash lift and tint and brow tweeze and tint. The lash lift did not take at all. She even had to do it twice in hopes that it would be better. After the second time she said that they would lift over the next 24 hours. They did not at all! My lashes look exactly the same as when I walked in. STRAIGHT! And my brows, they’re not even symmetrical. I would advise you to not waste your time or money here. Very very disappointed.EDIT: SO UNPROFESSIONAL!! This was the response to my review from the owner:We are sorry that you were disappointed however before you left you said your eyebrows were perfect and exactly how you wanted them. We have a great photo of your brows and lashes. After you paid you returned to the back room to thank Ally again and tip her. Regarding your lashes Ally said you have extremely coarse and downward pointing lashes. They did lift but we did not want to over process you. Ally asked you to contact her after 24 hours if they did not lift further and she did not hear from you. She also said that you would need to wait at least two weeks before trying the lift again so the lashes would not over process and break off.This is just not true. I have many photos of my lashes and there is no lift whatsoever. After I paid, I did not return to the back to tip Ally. I tipped her $20 at the front desk immediately after I paid because she was very sweet and she did her best. Not her fault that my lashes didn’t take, however I should not have been charged full price. Ally did not tell me to contact her after 24 hours. She told me not to get them wet for 24 hours. Those were the only directions she gave me knowing it was my first time. She never mentioned anything about contacting her or how long I would have to wait to retry. Such a scam for peoples hard earned money and so unprofessional to respond to my review with lies. Absolutely ridiculous!

My brows look great after my tint and tweeze service yesterday. It was my first time at The Brow Bar and I’d recommend it to friends/family looking to get their brows done. She walked me through her process and idea for my brows and she executed everything flawlessly. Was quite costly though, more than I’ve ever paid for my brows - a little under $100 for tint/tweeze/tip; the treatment is expected to last for 6-8wk.

Their cancellation policy is strict with absolutely no leeway, which is clearly stated, but it is still extremely disappointing. I ended up being charged to cancel an appointment I didnt want to cancel since I came into contact with someone who tested positive for Covid.I found out the night before my appointment that a friend I met over the weekend tested positive for Covid. I called The Brow Bar as soon as they opened and had to call three times to reach someone. Upon trying to reschedule, I was told a 50% cancellation fee was going to be charged; regardless of the fact that I may have Covid. I ended up cancelling (since rescheduling or cancelling less than 24 hours before an appointment results in the same charge) and accepting the charge since I didnt see much choice.

Ive been to see Sarah on many occasions. She is absolutely the only one allowed to touch my brows: IM not even allowed to touch my own brows. After an appointment with her and her eyebrow magic, I look years younger. Her expertise in making a full natural brow look beautiful is unmatched in this area. She also carries quality skin care products that are carefully chosen by her. My favorite at the moment is the Collagen Protect Moon Juice (it literally hydrated the dry, flaky skin under my eyes overnight). She takes safety during COVID very seriously and has precautions that make it comfortable for me to pick up from her store. Sarah is the best mix of professional and friendly, and has integrity. She will tell someone that they need to grow their brows out a bit more before service if needed, making her trustworthy.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at The Brow Bar. I went in to get a lash lift, this was my first time getting one, which I shared with them. I paid $120 ($140 with tip) and my lashes stick straight out, they are not lifted at all. I honestly cant tell the difference between when I walked and when I left. I called after my appointment to share my concerns and was shocked with their complete lack of care or concern. I was told I could come back and pay for the service again and that I should ask for different rods next time. They did not apologize nor offer to correct the lift (or lack there of). I ended the call by sharing that I was not comfortable going back and would be finding somewhere else to go, I was told thats fine. They were very nice during my appointment, which is why I am giving them two stars instead of one. I would highly recommend staying away from this business.

Sarah has been doing my eyebrows for 4 or so years now! Won’t allow anyone else to touch them. Since moving away a few years ago, I always make the drive back to Ann Arbor for her to do my brows. She’s consistent, kind and very professional! Highly recommend her.

I was looking forward to my appointment. I woke up the morning of my appointment with pinkeye. Obviously I had to cancel, they were not understanding and they kept my deposit. They were very unwilling to work with me.

Sarah from the Brow Bar is the only person in the world that I trust with my eyebrows and eyelashes! Her aesthetic is natural and effortless. When I walk out of my appointment for a tint (brows and lashes) and tweeze I dont feel like I have makeup on but I just look WAY better than I did when I walked in. I overplucked my eyebrows in the early 2000s and Sarah is basically my doctor for that big mistake.The shop itself is SUPER nice too with cool beauty products and gift that you dont see anywhere else in Ann Arbor. 100% recommend!

When I first went to Sarah a few year ago, I had THE THINNEST brows due to over plucking. She cleaned me up and sent me home with strict instructions to not pluck, wax, or touch my eyebrows for 8 weeks. I did just that, and it changed my life. She brought shape and the thickness I never thought I would get back to my eyebrows. Along with her professionalism, Sarah is the kindest person so it makes my appointments well worth the drive.

This place is so cute! I booked an appointment about 5-6 weeks in advance to have my brows done and it did not disappoint. I’ve had bad experiences before and after this appointment I never want to go anywhere else. I left looking and feeling great and gained additional knowledge about brows and face framing/ making your eyes pop! Thank you!

This is probably the worst customer service experience Ive had in a very long time! I went to Brow Bar 3 weeks ago had my lashes done by a girl who was in town from New Jersey, my lashes looked amazing, Ali did a great job! The downside was they were 20 minutes late starting my appointment causing me to be late for an event. I scheduled a fill for my lashes for two weeks later, after waiting for 10 minutes and a worker texting the woman who was supposed to do my lashes, I was told I could leave if I wanted to... I am the maid of honor in a wedding tomorrow, its not helpful to not have my lashes done. the woman working didnt appear to care at all or offer a good solution to reschedule for later in the day or perhaps first thing in the morning. She was useless not helpful at all and completely unprofessional.20 minutes late to start the first appointment, no one there to do the second appointment!! Im not quite sure how this place is still in business.If you have places to be or a life or somewhere else that doesnt involve sitting at the Brow Bar I recommend going somewhere else to get your lashes or eyebrows done!
