Usually a good experience here, but this time had a distinct Uncle Eds vibe with all the unnecessary back-and-forth between the techs. They also tried to hard-sell me the synthetic upgrade by warning me that using conventional (which is spec for my vehicle) would void my engine warranty...which is total nonsense. Then they talked about that 6 feet away from me as though I couldnt hear them.3 stars this time because it was still fast service priced right with a $15 email coupon.Back to 5 stars next time if they also skip all the nonsense that went on today.

Great! Cant remember the gals name that works there but she was super friendly and kind. I love this location, only been in A2 for a few years but Valvoline has always been my go to. This location has always been quick, knowledgeable, and efficient. They dont press hard on unwanted services, and have helped me in the past with brake issues and other concerns. Cant recommend enough.

I brought my wifes 03 f150 to get an oil change this morning. The staff informed me they couldnt do the change due to a significant oil leak near the crankshaft pulley. They said they would rather have my vehicle serviced at a repair shop than charging me. They then added a quart of oil on the house. Theyre integrity, honesty, and professionalism has vastly impressed me, and I want to thank them for it and theyre continued service to the community.Paul Scott 4/23/2021

Very disappointed by my service. Got a Interstate battery from them that went bad and made the car undrivable. Servicemen refused to give me a replacement battery unless I could show up in the car that had the battery in it so they could install another battery themselves, which was undrivable and would not jump start. After over a day of figuring out that the battery wasnt working, in the end, all they were willing to offer was a small voucher for a future purchase because theyd stopped offering Interstate batteries in the first place and couldnt even direct me to where I could claim the warranty. Great way to treat a loyal long-term customer over a small issue. Never going there again.

This review is for Monro auto service and tire centers which is in next to Valvoline oil change center. The are sharing a building.I purchased tires from Amazon and send it to this Monro tire centers to install. This tire shop has partner ship with Amazon.I called shop after a week of tire arrival and they said they dont install because they are going to scratch wheels. They only do steel wheels. Also told me that I have to go to Belle tire or somewhere else. That policy is totally fine, its up to them but at least they should call me and should not continue partnership with Amazon. Tires were just siting there for nothing and simply wasted time. Stay away from store manager Cliff Davis, he was absolutely rude.I went to Belle tire straight after this place and they did excellent job.

Great service at a great price. Always have a coupon or instant discount running and after being there a few times I can tell you that theyre honest and dont try to upsell unnecessary services i.e. air filters or wipers. Highly recommend!

Asked a simple question and got a reply that had nothing to do with what I was asking for. It was a lame excuse so he wouldn’t have to find the answer which could of took a few seconds to find. The other coworker wouldn’t even begin to treat me like that if he wasn’t absent for the day. Didn’t have a problem with no one else at Valvoline out of all the years I went there. I wanted to just roll my window up and pull off if I could. I don’t know his name but he was definitely on some BS!

I know with everything going on with this pandemic. Maybe when it comes to getting the customers information with having the barely roll down, you cant hear the employee nor could he hear me. I even put my mask on, and roll my window down a little more so Jeff could hear me better. Because I was repeating myself like 3 times.. Adam rudely telling me I better roll my window up to 3/4. Or he wouldnt service me and I can leave. Maybe having a plastic shield between the employee and the customer. And Adam was belittling Jeff infront of me. He needs more training when it comes to his job and learn how to be respectful to the customer and his fellow co-workers. For it being my first time there as a customer, I will never be back and I will let everyone know how bad my experience was. But I would like to thank Jeff again for treating me so nice

BE CAREFUL They are scammers.My experience were the worst in my life. I visited this is valvoline to change engine oil then they damage my oil pan telling me it is old, but actually its a new one I change it on certified Honda dealer. ended leaving their store with leaking oil car. The Honda dealer expert assure that valvoline caused the damage. However, they refused to fix the damage .15mins change oil still going on in small claims at court. Please dont make mistake stay away from location.

Definitely not sending my wife here. I asked for just an oil change and Adam then recommended that my 2k mile old air filter be changed, that I get my fluids changed out in my T-case when nobody had looked at anything yet, and that I get my wipers replaced, which were working splendidly. I restated just oil, but thank you and he told me we dont make any money off from just oil changes. (it was $168 for a 6.7L diesel, oil and oil filter only. MF dont tell me you dont make any money. If it wasnt a fleet vehicle Id be taking it to my garage and doing it for $40.) He then didnt give me a receipt when I asked for one, stating that he didnt have my email on file but that dude (me) said he didnt want to update his info. Quit being a bro and just do your job without being a punk. I do however, wish that Id caught the name of the other lube tech because his attention to detail was impressive.

Dear Valvoline, in response to your request for more information on the poor rating, I gave this store a review. These are the things you can improve. You can train your team can tighten my oil plug and verify their work so that I dont leak out several quarts of oil damaging my garage floor protection in the process. They can make sure to replace the reconnect the sensors to my airbox once taking out my filter to show me its dirty (it was not, I replaced it 4 weeks prior) so that I dont get a p171 check engine light. Finally instead of my arriving to the store and getting poor customer service from a rude man child, you can teach your staff that there are many quick stop oil shops and the the reason people are loyal to one is because of previous positive cs experiences. I am not sure who the guy is, but he needs to be moved to the pit and not placed in front of the customer. I have been bringing my 3 vehicles here since 2012. I can safely say that it will be the last time I do business with this branch, my last 5 changes have been disappointing.

Changed oil in my 2019 Mazda MX-5, and they did not replace the drain seal. 3000 miles later, there is oil dripping on my garage floor. The Mazda dealership said oil was all over the front engine cover and subframe, so they cleaned it for $40. I would stay away from this place.

Was in the area going to that trampoline place and needed an oil change. Came In randomly but we taken care of by Selena who was incredibly nice and honest and explained the services. Even took care of me with a special. I would Definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

They didnt put my drain plug back in correctly after flushng out my old oil which caused the new oil I paid over $60 for to slowly leak out... I then had to make an emergency stop and take my car to a near by repair shop and they explained to me what happened and showed me the oil was almost bone dry (oil dip stick was showing there was almost no oil in the engine at all!). Will never go back here, clearly they do not train the workers well enough to properly even do a simple oil change! Not worth the risk, even if it is more convenient.

I went in the morning for an oil change. There was no line, so I was able to get into the garage quickly. After a quick check of my turn signals and brights, they started working on my car. Unfortunately they told me I had a severe oil leak and that they recommended against getting an oil change before repairing the leak at another shop.They were very friendly and explained the source of the leak, but when I took my car to another establishment, they said the leak was only minor and recommended checking out levels once every 1000 miles, so thats a bit frustrating.

Tried several times to get my tires rotated while getting my oil changed. I was told each time the lift was broken so no tire rotation available. Its been months. Not going back.

A fifty dollar oil change in 10 minutes is not competitive and not realistic during this day and age. Please keep it between 20-30 like most places to keep my business.

This is the best oil change place I have found in the Ann Arbor area! Beth and the crew there are so friendly and helpful and take the time to explain everything to you. There is no pressure to sell you things you do not need, but they lay out all the options for you. Such great service, best staff, and quick service is wonderful!! This is the only place I go for an oil change in the area!

No words to describe the amazing service I received, probably the best customer service I have experienced in the US. First things they have a great set of staff..Mr. Ali swept my heart with his welcome. He checked all my lights, fluids, opened and closed the car door for me... When all I brought there was a 14 year old beater Mazda.. Felt like a service youd receive if you drove an expensive Mercedes into it. I wouldnt be surprised if I run into Ali years later as a manager of an outlet. Thats the kinda attitude.The outlet sits in one corner from the street and didnt drive in expecting this... I would not mind driving this far next time for an oil change even if I move further...Ten stars. To Ali, the young lady who works there and the person who drained my oil...

I have come to this location for oil changes for about a year and have been impressed with the service I have received every time. The technicians are friendly and professional and have been willing to help with simple diagnostics by reading check engine codes for free on the several occasions when it has been needed. I never have been pressured to buy any items that are not needed. Their coupons are also handy to have and help to save a couple dollars each trip. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fast, no hassle oil change.

They deflated my tires saying that the max pressure was 35, when on the tires it says 44. DIDNT RESET THE OIL CHANGE LIGHT EITHER

I HIGHLY recommend this store!! After a rough morning drive into work, I called about a transmission flush on my old truck and they were very courteous and professional on the phone. After work, I headed over to their shop and they took care of me right away. Even if I would have had to wait, the service is WELL worth the wait! The staff is all very friendly and extremely good at what they do. If youre looking for an awesome shop for an oil change, transmission flush, or any other service they provide....stop here!! They were a definite blessing today, and Im happy to say my ol truck is running much better now, and this store has earned a customer for life!! Thank you!!

Be careful that they do not have receipts. (They said that its e-receipt, but I did not receive it. When I called to ask them to send it again, they said that they could not... I just want to keep a record of the services I did on the car) I would not recommend it.

Im always nervous about quick oil change places, especially after an oil change from a different Ann Arbor shop messed up my Subarus engine, leading to $3.5k in repairs. Not the case here! Ive been blown away by the service Ive received. Everybody who has helped me out here over the last year has been courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and honest.In particular, Bryan (many months ago), Aziz, and Krystal have gone above and beyond. I would recommend this place to anybody!

Very pleased with this place. Got my serpentine belt and transmission fluid changed here. They had some trouble with the belt but got it fixed up no problem when I came back, and that trouble I chalk up to the fact that my car is a Sebring and therefore a way bigger pain that what it should be. I know that from experience since I do most work on my car myself and even changing the battery is an ordeal with this thing (hence why I wanted someone else to do the belt). Anyway after coming back they tightened the belt with two people instead of one and were able to keep it tight. Since I do know more about cars than the average person Im always paying attention for someone trying to sell me something I dont need, but I didnt get any of that here, no oh [insert random fluid here] is black and should be [such and such color] never a your air filter needs replaced even though its perfectly fine. And all the guys were very friendly and very efficient.So yes I recommend this place

Been getting my oil changed here for a couple years now and always have a positive experience. Aside from the awesome discount coupons and avg service time of 17mins the technicians are solid and dont push hard to upsell other services. Shout out to Aziz for always taking good care of me.

Had a headlight out and needed to get my oil changed. Called their number, and was received instantly and had all my questions answered. Showed up and was quickly setup, they fixed my annoying headlight and changed my oil. Everyone was very professional and courteous. Highly recommend their services.

I almost always use Valvoline... not because theyre especially good, but because Im especially lazy. The crew at the Ann Arbor/Saline shop was pretty efficient.

Helpful staff and quick service. They communicate everything theyre doing and I never feel pressured to get more done than I need. In and out in 15 minutes.

Went there for an oil change and they told me my transmission was leaking so I took it to get it looked at. Turns out it wasnt my transmission at all it was my oil filter that the one they replaced it with wasnt installed correctly and I lost all of the oil they had put in in a 2 mile drive. I went there the following day to ask for a refund and they told the footage shows they replaced it, but they didnt verify that it was actually correctly installed and didnt give me a refund. I do not recommend this place.

I saw the reviews before I went here. There prices are standard, and the service was standard, everything I expected. The high grade oil is expensive, but thats a choice people make, they dont just not tell you, they showed me a chart with prices and explained them to me extensively. The service was a bit slower than I expected, but ala and all was a good experience.
