I work for a nonprofit with a huge project underway to run our annual gala as a virtual event. My laptop quit communicating with any network and I couldnt do a software or driver update without the internet. I took it in to Geek Squad and they fixed it on the spot without an appointment. God Bless the Geek Squad! They are the best!

The Covid process to fix a problem is now a 3 week lag to drop off a computer or they give you a box to send it yourself. Ridiculous on too many levels

Took my computer in for light maintenance, but had already Paid for Norton for one year. When I picked it up they had un-installed my paid Norton Subscription, and installed webroot without asking me. Plus it had a virus and my usb mouse was no longer working. I was told in order to fix it it was necessary to wipe my computer, and re-install windows 10. By doing so I would lose all my paid for software installed including Adobe Photoshop, and my Cad Software. I told them NO!!! NEVER AGAIN!! Will I EVER take any of my electronics to the geeksquad idiots!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Geek Squad staff was rude, dismissive, and sales-oriented to me (instead of customer-service focused). And then sold me a defective Insignia (BestBuys store brand) product! I intend to never shop here again, 0 stars if I could :)

Geek Squad rocks! They always fix the problem remotely. Very nice and accommodating techs. I can always rely on them. A rarity these days.

I have had positive experiences at other Geek Squad locations, but a very negative experience at this Ann Arbor location. I was told conflicting things by the same associate at the same interaction. Everyone I have spoken to seems to be 20 years old and not 100% confident in what they are telling me or the policies of the store. This has made me very uncomfortable and distrusting of the information they gave me; I feel like that are just spinning tales to placate me. I received an email asking me to call them to give more information on my computer. I called and was put on hold and then hung up/ disconnected TWICE. When I finally got a hold of someone I feel as though they only spoke with me because I was so disgruntled by then. When I did come to pick up my computer they told me that my computer was shipped out to California and then that it was done in store. They lost my original hard dive and couldnt confidently tell me if it was at HP or in store. I got the feeling the information I was getting from them was not reliable and they where not really clear on what actually had happened to my computer while in their care. When I finally got my computer home and looked it over, the rubber grips on the bottom of the computer, which where firmly in place from the manufacturer when dropped off, came back to me pealing off and one had looked like it was glued back on but off center and out of place. I have an expectation that when I send my computer in for repairs it will not come back to me looking worst cosmetically! Additionally, a screw was not screwed down all the way and there appeared to be new small dings on the back. I am displeased with all my interactions at the Ann Arbor location.

This review only relates to the geek squad at this location. I have a custom PC so the geek squad membership seemed like a good idea. I took my computer to this geek squad and they turned me away because apparently they arent setup to take my pc and do maintenance even though I had all the resources they needed. this is the only geek squad thats ever done this to me and incredibly dissapointed. Will never go back there.
