Some of vacuums dont work. I pulled up, opened doors ready to go and nothing. They have several vacuums so I drove to one that worked. (Used the last of my quarters on this) Then I used my card for a $2.00 car wash, and was charged $10 on my credit card! Ive used this place for years. I always bring coins, then its a cheap reliable place. I swiped my card a few times but it flashed red, which the counter paper instructions said swipe again if it blinks that. I think this small town guy cant afford the updates needed. Kinda sad. But faulty machines need to be fixed.

I love this car wash and feel like its an old Ankeny staple but I dislike that there are no brushes available. I had pretty bad tired today and couldnt even get them clean bc of the lack of brush available in the wash bays....bummer. Either way tho, Ill always give you guys at least a 4/5 bc you deserve it for putting up with and making it thru my Jr and High school years....we used yall sooooooooooo much. Im just thankful youre still there :)

I got overcharged by $2 and half the wash cycles didn’t even work. I ended up having to back out of the car wash after the door didn’t open so that I could drive out. If at all possible, avoid this car wash and instead visit Oasis Carwash, just down Oralabor, which is much better as far as service and quality is concerned.

Your playing $2 for 2min for what ever wash cycle you want for the self wash. You get one spray wand that has no brushing attachment. Machine doesnt give you a receipt or show you how much was spent. The wash bay is very small for a 1/2ton dually. Other then that, the place was clean & trash cans werent full. Will not use again.

Went to wash my car at the automatic car wash, chose the $8 wash and was charged $10 on my debit card. Was charged double some time ago but got my money back after meeting the owner. No apology or nothing. He seemed agitated. I will not be going back. Seen previous reviews. You lost my business as well.

I tried to go through the car wash it did not work I had to back out and of course lost my $7.50 which I will make sure I call my bank to have that charge reversed. Can’t even call they have no phone number don’t go there

This place is a sham! Was visiting Ankeny for doctors appt. I had time to wash my truck. Swiped my CC for $7.00 wash was charged $10.00. Rip off!!!!!!!Don’t go here!!!Where do I go for a refund? Or to talk to the owner or BBB???? Hmmmm

Swiped my card, time started, hose didnt do anything. Went to check my bank statement after reading other reviews and I was charged $10. Sign had stated $2 for 4 minutes. Overcharged and didnt even get my car washed...*UPDATE* came back later to let the owner know what happened, and was given a free car wash. We washed the car and went to show the owner the charge on my bank statement, and he then told us that we basically got the $10 worth and should just call it even Didnt make up for the inconvenience for us to have to drive back since he wasnt there earlier in the day, and definitely didnt get our moneys worth Also, the fact that he lied to us about getting a free wash was just shady and bad business practice.

Very run down spent more money on the sign out front then they did the whole car wash!!! The automatic wash is terrible!! Self wash is just as bad if not worse!!!

No foam brush, couldnt get high pressure spray, owner was on property, asked for assistance, he couldnt have cared less and smarted off at me. Definite waste of money and extremely poor service.

For $2 you can wash and rinse your car for 4 minutes and drive out.

Whoever owns this place needs to give me 2 dollars they over charged my card!!! Worst car wash ever
