I moved to Brazoria County in 1997. Since that time, Moody and Son has worked on all of my cars including Mazda, Ford, Nissan, Jeep, Volkswagen, Subaru, Ford, Dodge, and probably some cars Ive forgotten. I have referred a half dozen or more friends there, and have never regretted it. Most importantly, they have always given me options for cheaper repairs and never performed unnecessary services. The are trustworthy, fair and competent.

This is the second time I use Moody for an auto problem and both time the prices were very low and more than fair. Both times the issues I had were fixed permanently. Their attitudes, prices, and quality of work make them top choice for auto repairs. Highly recommended.

First of the month I went to Toyota Store to get a small part for the one that I broke. It (latch cost $23+/- ) was small, 2 pieces. Neighbor tried to put it in/on. Didnt work. Spring was backwards. So I went by Moody and Son Garage, explained to Moody Sr, showed same, and we went back to the office and he went into the office calendar and we agreed on a date (Tuesday 9:30am) and we parted. Time went by, Tuesday came, I called at 9:15, was told the Shop was empty. I said Id be there.When I arrived, the only person I saw was (I believe) the Son part of the place. Well, he did it!!! I like Moody and Son Garage.

August 2016 my Diesel truck A.C. went out so I took it to moody and sons thinking my truck was gonna be taken care of cause this place was recommended by Ragland Dodge at the time so when they looked at it... this and that had went out on it,basically I was told the whole A.C. system needed to be replaced and it was gonna cost around 1,200$ so unfortunately I needed the AC so they replaced it and I picked it up 3 days later and was given 1 year warranty so I drove the truck out of town and when i got 200 miles away with the family the A.C. went out in 90°temp to make a along story short I dropped the truck of 3 days later so moody and sons can work on it for the 2nd time and the problem was the A.C. system still had crudd on the lines from not being flush properly and the evaporator plugged up so I drove the truck another 2 weeks and guess what the A.C. stop blowing cold again so I take it back for the 3rd time,(Im glad I had warranty)and I was told a switch went out but remember that still doesnt solve the problem on why i was not having Freon in the lines so theres a leak somewhere right....so it was recharged and use another 3 months later guess what the A.C. stop blowing cold again now this is the 4th time having to take it back... so after taking it back I was told the manifold assembly went out and it wasnt part or the warranty work that they been off and on for the past 8 months and it was gonna cost me over 500$.... Im no mechanic but it sounds like to me the this part has been leaking the whole time, that explains why my A.C. wasnt holding Freon... so like they say... its hard to find good,experience, trust worthy mechanics now days
