When you get a new pet you head straight to PetSmart. Always makes your pet feel loved & spoiled. Lady loved the store so we highly recommend coming here 🤠

Didnt get half of what I wanted to because they are so expensive on some items! I only go here if I absolutely need something right away! They are so over priced on things! How ever they do have some really good sales every now and then! That pays you to shop there at the time! Look online at there ads before you go to see if there sale items are what you need! If not it could cost you more than your budget will allow!

Its hard not to go crazy at PetSmart - buying things to spoil your pet!The store is well laid out. Employees were helpful. We found what we needed very quickly and then spent some time browsing around. Not too crowded in the store and there is plenty of parking.

People who work here r great & very helpful with any questions u may have. They also helped me to get the best price possible!

Very friendly groomer, and pleased with timeliness, cost and quality of the session. The groomer was very attentive to my dogs needs. I like being able to shop before & after too if needed- very convenient!

Very good, and my little friends got new collars, a bed for Rowdy new harness and doggy snacks. It was a great day for my dogs.

Amanda from the Anderson Indiana Pet Smart just did another fantastic job on my dog Max .He’s a very sensitive Yorki Poo with a lot of anxiety . She always takes her time with him and makes him feel comfortable. Kuddos to Amanda ! ❤️

We had our dogs nails clipped and the ladys did an awesome job. Our dog can be a bit difficult to say the least lol But the lady s hung in there and got it done.

Both times I have gone I’ve been let down. They lady at the checkout was nice but said they didn’t have anyone there to get me a pet out I wanted to purchase. Today I called to ask information about one of the pets they had in store and a lady said “I have no idea no” and then said alright bye.

Call before you go. Especially if you need crickets. This place is out almost every day. If you run out every day you get the order it seems like you would order more. Just me i guess. Normally treat you less than for even asking. When you are the only big box in town you can treat people any way you want.

Its important to note that my husband is the kindest man in the world and literally never says anything bad about anyone or anything. He took our 3 year old cocker spaniel to this Pet Smart for the premium groom. He almost left before the appointment began because the groomer (Amanda A.) was pissy with him when he was trying to decide how short to trim our dogs hair. It wasnt what she said but her body language & behavior and obvious lack of patience. He should have went with his gut instinct and walked out of the store.By the time it was done, our pup was having an anxiety attack...panting heavily, the whites of his eyes were blood red, and trembling. My husband never took his eyes off her (except during bathing because he could not see that area), so I am not insinuating that she was rough with him. However, she certainly does not have a calming demeanor. He ended up leaving with his face and paws untrimmed...so he looks a little crazy. Im not sure how much of the premium services he received. I do know that she did not even bother putting a bandana or bow tie on him.This will be the first and last time we ever use any Pet Smart for grooming!

What I like about PetSmart... Rather than looking at my cart with the big bag of cat food and saying Wow, you must have a lot of cats 😳 .. the cashier is like Hows your furies? 🥰 The store is well organized, I can easily find what I need & the people are super helpful.

No coupons like a few years ago $5 prices have increased. Not always checking expiration dates on dog/ cat food.

This store NEVER seems to have crickets. I have wasted so much time stopping by there, trying to get crickets for my gecko( who is old and cannot see meal worms), and they are CONSTANTLY out. The excuses run the gamut from we have a lot of customers with reptiles( then order MORE!!) to storms. They say they get them on Tuesdays, you go Wednesday and they still dont have any. Its absolute nonsense.

They never have any product we have lost count of how many times we have wasted our time and gas driving over here from the north side of anderson and they dont have the stuff we need very aggravating!

The store was clean and the employees were super helpful, and they let me bring my baby puppy in with me. We both loved the store.

My lil girl(6 year old Chimpin, Chihuahua, Minpin mix) loves to shop there, and she gets her nails done once every two weeks and groomed whenever she needs it. The staff are always kind and patient with her and she didnt like it at first, but now she seems to look forward to going into the salon door each time we go shopping there.

I went specifically to get hermit crabs and was able to do so. The gentleman helping me was great. He was happy and eager to help. Unfortunately they do not have an even kinda ok setup for their hermies. Hermit crabs breath through modifier gills and need a constant humidity of 80-85% so they dont slowly suffocate. They also need a constant temperature in the same range or they become lethargic and stressed. They need to have a minimum of 6 inches of appropriate substrate up burrow into for molting and to de-stress. They need a saltwater bowl and fresh-water bowl deep enough to fully submerge their shell so they can retain a brackish water buildup in their shell to protect their sensitive stomachs. The ones at this petsmart were in a 10 gallon tank with a screen lid, no water bowls, but a small dish with a sponge in it. There was about 1/2 of substrate, no heated mat for the back of the tank and zero humidity! I felt so bad for the little guys and wanted to buy them all, but that would just promote them to restock and continue to harm more hermit crabs in the future. There is a lot of stuff I didnt mention but I covered the bases. Also, all of the stuff marketed towards hermit crabs is dangerous and in some instances (pine log hermit pellets) can poison them. The calcium sand thats recommended actually turns to a concrete like substance when wet. It gets in their shells and hardens, forming sharp edges that can puncture their vulnerable bellies. I just wish they could try harder since they promote being a short of expert on animals. Take time to properly educate yourself on the proper care of any animal you purchase. Regardless of where you get it.

My dog(Sampson) came out looking and feeling better. Although, I believe they rushed his appointment because they close at 6 pm. It took them an hour and 15 minutes. They usually take at least 2 hours. Nevertheless, I am happy it did not take 2 hours or more and the fact my dog was very happy!

Out of some stock. Manager I spoke to was helpful. He was very nice. Other people not as helpful or friendly. First place that I have shopped that wants your phone number and other information to pay for your purchase. Most inconvenient if you are running in and grabbing a few items for a friend.

My wife and our kiddos come here to give some love to the kitties that PetSmart takes in. We actually adopted our beautiful black cat Midnight when he was a small kitty. They have all things pets. We get treats, to food, to litter, to toys. The staff mostly all love the pets as much as my family does! The things you can buy are a little salty on the budget. Lowering prices would yield 5 🌟.

Usually has what I need, though not everything I need. Worms for my axolotyls are usually out of stock, but food for the cats and dig are reasonably priced for pretty good quality. Best place in town, but not best within a short trip.

I got the pleasure of meetIng the store manager Lindsey today and let me just say I am very happy I did. I brought my 5 month old puppy in there to socialize him. He was found on the side of the road a couple weeks ago and is very timid. Lindsey took the time to stop putting toys up and talked to him and pet him to help him feel more comfortable and as a dog mom that made me very very happy. I will always shop at pet smart and again thank you Lindsey for sitting on the floor and interacting with Dakota !!

Everyone that works at PetSmart is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and organized. Products are easy to find. We like to stop and say hello to the cats that are up for adoption. Weve adopted a cat from PetSmart in November of 2019.

I cant really say much good about this location. After wandering around for a good twenty minutes I finally had to ask for help. The guy who helped me was really nice, but they no longer carry the treats that I wanted. Their prices are crazy - even the sale prices. Ive been a treats rewards member for years and I honestly cant remember a single perk that Ive received. Overall I know that I get better service and prices at another pet store, so Im probably not likely to go back to PetSmart anytime soon.
